Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the occurrence of demurrage at PT Zona Mandiri Indotrans,to determine and analyze the factors that cause demurrage at PT Zona Madiri Indotrans and to determine and analyze the efforts made by PT Zona Mandiri Indotrans in overcoming demurrage due to delays in loading and unloading fertilizers. This research was conducted at one of the freight forwarder companies in Palu City, PT Zona Mandiri Indotrans regarding fertilizer unloading activities that cause demurrage with a total of three informants. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach and uses the NVivo 12 Plus software analysis tool. The results showed that demurrage occurred at PT Zona Mandiri Indotrans due to delays in fertilizer unloading activities. The factors causing demurrage are lack of truck fleet, truck fleet damage, lack of unloading labor, scarcity of diesel fuel, unloading tools, unfavorable weather and late B/L (Bill of Lading) documents. Efforts made by PT Zona Mandiri Indotrans in handling demurrage that occurs due to delays in loading and unloading fertilizers, the company rents a warehouse to store fertilizers that have not been loaded so that the containers used can be immediately returned to the shipping party and the company supplies diesel fuel for each truck fleet before the goods arrive at the port.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the effect of using handout teaching materials on the learning motivation of students at SMP Negeri 2 Barombong. This research has a quantitative approach. Meanwhile, the sample size for this research was 64 people, using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this research show that the use of handout teaching materials in Islamic Religious Education learning is in the high category. Meanwhile, the use of Islamic Religious Education teaching books is in the medium category. Then, students' learning motivation in learning Islamic Religious Education shows that students' learning motivation increases significantly. Meanwhile, students' learning motivation in the control class was included in the low category, while the posttest showed that students' motivation had increased. Then the difference in the influence of the use of handouts and textbooks on students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education learning shows a correlation

Abstract

This research aims to understand teachers’ perceptions of exemplary behavior in instilling Islamic values at DDI Mangkoso Islamic Boarding School in Barru Regency. The study employs a qualitative approach with a psychological orientation. Both primary and secondary data sources are utilized, and data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The findings reveal that teachers employ a three-stage process, value transformation, value transaction, and value internalization in imparting Islamic values. Significant challenges arise from the varying characters of students in understanding and applying these values, necessitating innovative approaches beyond conventional methods employed by teachers. This calls for flexibility and adaptability in the teaching process. The implications of this research provide insights and recommendations to enhance the quality of DDI Mangkoso Islamic Boarding School in Barru Regency moving forward.

Abstract

Digital libraries and search engines like Google are two primary sources of information in the ever-evolving digital era. Both play a crucial role in providing access to knowledge and information to individuals worldwide. Digital libraries represent a revolutionary innovation in the world of libraries. They store and grant access to various types of library materials in digital formats, including e-books, electronic journals, databases, audio, and video. Digital libraries are accessible online through the internet, enabling users to search, read, and download these resources from anywhere and at any time. Digital libraries excel in offering extensive and diverse collections and facilitate efficient searches. Google is one of the largest and most popular search engines globally. As a search engine, Google serves as a powerful tool for information retrieval on the internet. Users can input keywords or queries, and Google provides relevant results from various websites worldwide. Google also offers various related services, such as Google Scholar for searching scholarly literature and Google Books for searching and reading books online. This search engine has become the primary gateway for many people seeking information online. The importance of information literacy in the digital era cannot be overlooked. Information literacy is the ability to access, evaluate, use, and contribute to information critically and effectively. In the digital age characterized by abundant access to information from various online sources, information literacy becomes more relevant and essential than ever before. Developing information literacy in the future will involve numerous challenges but also offers significant opportunities. With an understanding of these challenges and opportunities, we can plan more effectively to promote and enhance information literacy in this ever-changing era. This article may discuss the impact of digital libraries and search engines like Google on information literacy in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the forms of commitment of librarians from the Jambi Province Library and Archives Service in realizing successful library service management. This research departs from the theory of organizational behavior initiated by Allen and Meyer which includes affective, normative and sustainable commitment. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with purposive sampling. This research involved 19 librarians and 30 informants to gather research information, while data was obtained through structured and unstructured interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the forms of librarian commitment are carried out through affective, normative and sustainable commitment. Affective commitment includes two forms, namely commitment to collaborate as a team with the achievement of implementing technical guidance activities 3 times and commitment to work discipline with work discipline achieved by 97%. Meanwhile, normative commitments include a commitment to completing librarian duties with each librarian achieving 10 documents per day, a commitment to evaluating the use of collections with the achievement of carrying out on-site reading surveys of 98% and a circulation of 100% per month, a commitment to user satisfaction in receiving services with an achievement in 2019 of 83, in 2020 it was 87 and in 2021 it was 92. Continuous commitment includes a commitment to developing institutions by achieving a pattern of collaboration between libraries and professional organizations, a commitment to developing librarian careers with each librarian being a resource person twice in library technical guidance activities, and a commitment to being involved in professional organizations with the achievements of every librarian active in the management of the Indonesian Librarian Association (IPI). Recommendations for normative aspects are a form of librarian commitment which includes a commitment to completing librarian tasks on time and a commitment to evaluating the use of collections, which are aspects that must be paid attention to by leaders and librarians.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan nasabah dalam memediasi hubungan antara pelayanan prima dan kepercayaan terhadap loyalitas nasabah BSI KCP Pekalongan Kajen. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari sampel sejumlah 100 responden melalui angket (kuesioner) yang dibagikan. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Adapun teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan sobel test. Hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa secara parsial, baik pelayanan prima maupun kepercayaan memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah BSI KCP Pekalongan Kajen. Selain itu, pelayanan prima, kepercayaan, dan kepuasan juga memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap loyalitas nasabah BSI KCP Pekalongan Kajen. Kemudian, dilihat dari kepuasan sebagai variabel intervening, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepuasan mampu memdiasi pengaruh pelayanan prima maupun kepercayaan terhadap loyalitas nasabah BSI KCP Pekalongan Kajen

Abstract

Pati sagu alami penggunaannya terbatas untuk pangan dan non pangan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dimodifikasi untuk memperbaiki karakteristik fisikokimia dan fungsionalnya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi rasio sodium trimetaphosphate (STMP) dengan sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) berdasarkan karakteristik fisikokimia dan fungsional pati sagu fosfat. Penelitian terdiri dari satu faktor dengan 7 taraf konsentrasi rasio STMP/STPP=99/1 yaitu 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 dan 12% (berat/berat pati). Variabel analisis diantaranya kadar fosfat, kadar air, kadar abu, daya menahan air, daya menahan minyak, daya mengembang dan kelarutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi rasio STMP/STPP yang terbaik terdapat pada 6%. Kadar fosfat dan kadar abu pati sagu fosfat meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya konsentrasi rasio STMP/STPP sampai konsentrasi 12% sedangkan daya menahan air dan daya mengembang meningkat sampai 8% selanjutnya menurun sampai akhir konsentrasi 12%. Kadar air dan daya menahan minyak pati sagu fosfat menurun seiring bertambahnya konsentrasi rasio STMP/STPP. Kelarutan pati sagu fosfat cenderung konstan seiring bertambahnya konsentrasi rasio STMP/STPP.

Abstract

This research examines challenges in digitizing public services, particularly licensing, in Bima District, emphasizing its impact on community well-being and the local economy. Through qualitative methods such as literature review, interviews, and observation, it identifies hurdles like low digital literacy and inadequate infrastructure. Despite progress, challenges persist. Yet, system integration and increased investment yield positive results, enhancing service efficiency and investment attraction. Further efforts are required to improve infrastructure and IT training for greater digital transformation. Collaboration among government, community, and private sector is crucial for success, supporting local economic growth and community engagement in public services. This study provides insights for informed decision-making and sustainable policy development, contributing to the advancement of digital transformation in Bima District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing public interest in Sharia-compliant financial products in Indonesia. The primary focus is to understand how public understanding and education impact their interest in products such as savings, deposits, insurance, pawnshops, and Sharia-compliant securities. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method. Data were collected from various relevant literature sources, including journals, books, reports, and scientific articles. Descriptive analysis was conducted to identify key patterns and themes related to the factors influencing public interest in Sharia-compliant financial products. The results indicate that the level of public understanding and education significantly affects their interest in Sharia-compliant financial products. People with a better understanding of Sharia principles and the mechanisms of Sharia-compliant financial products tend to be more interested and confident in using these products. Sharia financial literacy programs, integration of Sharia finance materials into educational curricula, and practical training and workshops have proven effective in increasing public understanding and interest. Therefore, improving public education and understanding is expected to drive the growth of the Sharia finance industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) untuk mendeskripsikan disiplin kerja, lingkungan kerja, dan kinerja pegawai; 2) Untuk mengetahui disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Perum Bulog Kota Palu; 3) Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Perum Bulog Kota Palu; dan 4) Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Perum Bulog Kota Palu. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif dan verifikatif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian yaitu 35 sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Perum Bulog Kota Palu dengan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (11,760 >3,28) dengan nilai signifikan 0,000; 2) Disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Perum Bulog Kota Palu dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (2,147 > 2,03693) dengan nilai signifikansi 0,039; 3) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Perum Bulog Kota Palu dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (2,389 > 2,03693) dengan nilai signifikansi 0,023 < 0,05
