Abstract

This study examines the role of cultural literacy in character building among students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Lakidende University, specifically within the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. Cultural literacy, encompassing the understanding, appreciation, and application of local and national cultural values, is considered a crucial factor in shaping students’ character, particularly in the context of Indonesia’s cultural diversity. Employing a qualitative approach, this research integrates in-depth interviews, participant observations, and questionnaire distribution among students and lecturers to gain comprehensive insights. The findings reveal that cultural literacy significantly contributes to the development of integrity, ethical awareness, and tolerance among students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. Students who are consistently exposed to cultural literacy demonstrate a deeper understanding of social and moral values and exhibit more positive behaviors in their daily interactions. Moreover, the integration of cultural literacy within the Educational Literacy course and the Tolaki Language and Culture course in the fifth semester reinforces students’ cultural identity and enhances their engagement in the learning process. This study underscores the necessity for higher education institutions in Indonesia to further integrate cultural literacy into the academic framework. Such an initiative not only fosters students' cultural awareness and character development but also serves as a strategic effort to preserve cultural heritage in the face of globalization.

Through this training, employees are expected to have qualified skills in website operation so that the company can be independent in managing all information on the company website.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the strategic role of youth in driving national economic growth through innovation and cross-sector collaboration, and to examine the relevance and effectiveness of legal policies that support this role in the context of achieving the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. Theoretical framework: This study uses an interdisciplinary approach that combines the theories of youth empowerment, innovation-driven economy, and the legal framework of national development. This approach strengthens the understanding of how national regulations, such as Law No. 40 of 2009 concerning Youth and Presidential Regulation No. 18 of 2020 concerning RPJMN 2020–2024, support the role of youth in economic growth. Literature review: Youth Innovation in Economic Development, Cross-Sector Collaboration by Youth, Legal Basis for Youth Empowerment. Methods: This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, literature study, and policy analysis techniques. Data sources were obtained from national legal documents, academic journals, BAPPENAS policy reports, and relevant youth innovation case studies. The analysis technique was carried out through the stages of data reduction, thematic categorization, and normative interpretation. Results: The study indicate that youth have great potential to create digital innovation, social entrepreneurship, and creative economy that have a direct impact on national economic growth. However, the implementation of legal policies that support youth innovation still faces challenges in terms of institutional synergy, legal assistance, and access to capital. Implications: These findings provide implications that policy reform and strengthening of youth-friendly legal governance need to be a strategic priority for the government to achieve the goal of Indonesia Emas 2045. The synergy between vocational education, the business world, and legal institutions is the key to successful cross-sector collaboration. Novelty: The uniqueness of this study lies in the integration of strategic analysis of youth innovation and legal approaches in one systematic framework, as well as an emphasis on the importance of legal, social, and economic collaboration in long-term development based on the youth generation.

Abstract

DAGUSIBU is one of the efforts to improve public health that is organized through health service activities by pharmaceutical workers. Health services that can provide community pharmaceutical workers include providing information on the use and storage of pharmaceutical preparations and medical devices. The public needs to know the importance of drug management from when they get a prescription to when they throw it away if it is not needed. So that the impact of community errors cannot be prevented. The lack of public curiosity about this is very dangerous. They should not underestimate the procedures for drug management. Starting from when they first get a prescription from a doctor, to how to dispose of it if it can no longer be used. In fact, if we make a slight mistake in managing drugs, it will have fatal consequences for consumers of the drug. The results of the Dagusibu Drug Management counseling (Get, Use, Store, Throw Away) in Bingkat, Serdang Bedagai Regency can provide insight and education on drug management from when they get a prescription to when they throw it away if it is not needed. So that the impact of mistakes made by the Bingkat village community cannot be prevented. Participants can apply the knowledge they have gained in their family and community environments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership and physical work environment on employee performance, mediated by extrinsic motivation, both directly and indirectly, at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, West Nusa Tenggara. This research employs a causal approach. The population consists of all employees at the aforementioned Regional Office. The sample is determined using a saturated sampling technique involving 87 employees, with 80 valid responses analyzed. Data collection techniques include documentation, observation, and questionnaires. The data analysis uses a quantitative approach through statistical methods, including Outer Model Analysis, Inner Model Analysis, and Hypothesis Testing. Data processing is conducted using the PLS (Partial Least Square) software. The results show that transformational leadership has a significant direct effect on employee performance, the physical work environment has a significant effect on employee performance, and extrinsic motivation significantly influences employee performance. Additionally, transformational leadership and the physical work environment significantly affect extrinsic motivation. However, extrinsic motivation does not mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance, nor does it mediate the relationship between the physical work environment and employee performance at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, West Nusa Tenggara.
