Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan berbahasa pada tataran linguistik apa saja yang terjadi pada tulisan mahasiswa tingkat dasar dan penyebab dari kesalahan berbahasa tersebut. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah kesalahan berbahasa pada tataran linguistik sintaksis paling sering dijumpai, diikuti oleh tataran semantis dan tataran morfologi. Penyebab kesalahan berbahasa banyak disebabkan oleh incomplete application of rules (tidak lengkap menerapkan aturan).

Abstract

Interactive multimedia is the combination of different types of media presentation and teaching methods which uses some media such as visual, audio, video etc. The purpose of this research is to find out the difference between the result of studies by using an interactive multimedia by adobe captivate and without interactive multimedia as teaching tool for students of second year at Faculty of Japanese Language in College Foreign Language of JIA in Bekasi. By using this media, the students can be more focus and active in learning process.

Abstract

Aizuchi could be a sign whether the communication process has been working effectively or not. This research chooses qualitative method to identify the differences between both female and male of Japanese department students and Japanese native speaker’s practical custom in using aizuchi. As a result, both samples shows that female tend to use aizuchi more often than male, and Japanese native speakers use aizuchi more often than Japanese department students.As a listener, female Japanese native speakers gave response actively and tend to show their support.

Abstract

By beginning research, researcher know that the learners find difficulty of the usage of fukujoshi mo, sae, and made that have similar function and sometimes can replace each other. It causes error of the usage. By descriptive method this research is done for getting information about the error level of the usage of fukujoshi mo, sae, and made, that error type, and the cause of that error.

Abstract

The aims of this essay is to describe wakamono kotoba on the YouTube channel Jhonnys' Jr. HiHi Jets vlog which is reviewed from the pattern of word formation, words meaning, and the phenomenon of using wakamono kotoba. The data collection method used was the note-taking method and analyzed using the referential equivalent method, then the research results would be described descriptively. The results of this study were 27 wakamono kotoba found on the YouTube channel Jhonnys' Jr. HiHi Jets vlog consists of five words formation that is clipping, affixation, foreign language borrowing, composition, and sound conversion. It was found that wakamono kotoba has changes in meaning and function from its original form, this word means to show a feeling of disbelief or surprise and its function changes to an adverb, and there are words that has changes in meaning without a word formation process, as well as words that do not changes its original meaning and form. Wakamono kotoba is used by young people to convey their feelings and thoughts with exaggeration.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the use of google meet in Japanese online learning at SMAN 1 Cibarusah and the obstacles that occur to teachers and students while using google meet in Japanese online learning. The background of this research is based on the results of interviews with teachers of SMAN 1 Cibarusah that there are obstacles that occur to teachers and students in using Google Meet as a new platform in teaching and learning activities. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research instruments are observation, questionnaires and interview. Based on the research results, it is known that the use of google meet in Japanese online learning can overcome the limitations of the distance between teachers and students so that Japanese teaching and learning activities can still be carried out properly. However, some students and teachers are constrained by signals while using google meet. Videos and sounds are often paused, causing in students having difficulty in concentrating and being able to understand the material explanation from the teacher. In addition, there are other obstacles, namely the difficulty of teachers monitoring students while learning and difficulties in conducting assessments. The number of students in one class reaches 121 people so that the teacher cannot control the students one by one. Likewise, students experience fatigue, eyesore, passiveness, find it difficult to understand the learning material, and feel that the learning environment is unconducive.

Abstract

This research is part of the research on curriculum development of the Japanese Language Education Study Program FBS UNJ. There are two things behind this research, namely the Japanese Language Education Study Program curriculum has undergone several changes since its establishment in 2006 until now, the 2006, 2007, 2010, 2015 and 2019 curriculum, as well as the demands for curriculum achievement in the 21st century, that is creativity and innovation. As a preliminary study, this research focuses on the relevance of stakeholder needs to the development of a 21st century skills-based curriculum. The results of the research are the basis for developing the 21st century skills-based Independent Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum. The methodology used is a descriptive research method by taking data through questionnaires and interviews that aim to determine the relevance of stakeholder needs to the development of a 21st century skills-based curriculum. As a curriculum based on 6C skills; creativity, critical thinking, character, collaboration, communication and computational thinking, the perception of stakeholder needs will be known for its relevance to development 21st century skills-based curriculum. The results show that the 21st century-based curriculum is relevant to the needs of stakeholders, because the curriculum synergizes with graduate workplace conditions. However, strengthening of communication skills in foreign languages, collaboration in teams, and critical thinking needs to be improved and maximized in lectures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the class classification of words, grammatical meaning, syntactic functions and Indonesian equivalent of the suffix sei. In analyzing word class classifications, using the referential equivalent method. The method of data analysis in grammatical analysis is the aggregate method, with advanced techniques of fade. Whereas in the equivalent analysis, using the method of compounding analysis. The results of this study are: Class words that can be attached to the -sei namely, denominal verbs/ doumeishi of type, action verbs/dousa, state verbs/ joutai and verbs of change/ henka, then denominal adjectives/keiyoudoushi which expressing characters and feelings. Then, nouns/ meishi type of person/hito, object/mono, situation /jitai, and time/ jikan. -Sei also changes word classes to abstract nouns. -Sei in Indonesian, can be added as a suffix -itas, -si / i, -nya, -if and confix ke- an, or can also change words such as adding meaning to power/character, and change meaning into risk, base, and scientific.The grammatical meaning produced by the -sei is, increasing levels, changing meanings (reform - innovation, anticipation - vision, elastic - flexible), adding the meaning of 'power' and 'character', changing the meaning nuance, adding to the impression of feeling, and adding to the subjective / objective impression.

Abstract

This study intends to identify the types of errors produced by Honyaku 1 course students in the Study Program of Japanese Language Education, Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) State University of Jakarta (UNJ) in the 2020/2021 academic year while translating sentences from Japanese to Indonesian. The source of this research data is the result of student translations. This study employs a descriptive approach, in which the outcomes of sentence translations are analyzed to identify types of faults in the translation of Japanese to Indonesian by analyzing the types of translation errors identified in the target language (TL) and determining the equivalence of meaning between source language sentences (LS) and target language sentences. This research takes a descriptive qualitative method. According to the findings of the study, the most common types of translation errors are interference problems, both in terms of lexical and grammatical characteristics. Meanwhile, based on the severity of the problem,students' translation faults are classified as global errors, which comprise both lexical and grammatical errors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the presentation ability of Japanese Language Education students at the State University of Jakarta in Kaiwa VI lesson using conventional learning methods and Project Based Learning models, to determine the improvement in presentation skills of students who receive Project Based Learning, as well as to determine student responses on the application of the Project Based Learning model in Kaiwa VI lesson. This is motivated by the problems found in the Kaiwa VI lesson, including: the lack of student's ability to think critically in solving a problem, and students are less able to understand the content of research so that they are not optimal in presenting the research results. This is influenced by the lack of a literacy process and the lack of an independent data collection process by students because so far students have only presented the results of other people's research. Project Based Learning is a student-centered learning model to conduct a deep investigation of a topic. The method used is True Experimental Design in the form of Posttest Only Control Group Design research. The sample in this research were students who took Kaiwa VI lesson which were divided into experimental groups and control groups. The results showed that students who received the Project Based Learning model got an increase in presentation skills better than students who received conventional learning. This is shown in the results of the posttest data analysis, the experimental group has an average of 5.6 points higher than the control group. Student responses regarding the implementation of the Project Based Learning model are quite good.
