Abstract

Pre-wedding photos have become part of popular culture carried out by brides-to-be, including in Pangkalan Village. However, there is a gap between the level of knowledge and public practice regarding Islamic law regarding these activities. In response to this phenomenon, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of North Sumatra Province issued Fatwa Number 03/KF/MUI-SU/IV/2011 which expressly prohibits pre-wedding photos before the marriage contract. This study aims to examine the perception of the people of Pangkalan Village towards the existence and implementation of the fatwa. This study uses an empirical method with a field research approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with four couples who had taken pre-wedding photos, four religious leaders, and three mosque teenagers, and supported by observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that even though 75.61% of the public knew the MUI fatwa related to the ban, the practice of pre-wedding photos before the marriage contract was still prevalent, even with poses that were not in line with sharia values. Religious leaders fully support the fatwa and emphasize the importance of avoiding the practice of khalwat, ikhtilat, and physical touch that are prohibited in Islam. Meanwhile, mosque youth understand the rationale behind the fatwa, but face challenges in the form of social pressure and a desire to follow popular culture trends. Public perception of this fatwa is influenced by psychological factors, family environment, and local culture that develop in the community.

Abstract

Out-Of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) Is A Condition That Often Threatens A Person's Life. Of The Many Events Of Cardiac Arrest, Only A Few Victims Can Survive. This Condition Is Related To The Low Rate Of First Aid For Cardiac Arrest In The Community And The Speed Of Health Workers Can Reach The Scene. This Condition Arises Because First Responders Lack Confidence In Performing First Aid In Cardiac Arrest. This Study Aims To Analytic The Effectiveness Of Cardiac Arrest First Aid Training With The SELAMAT Model For Self-Efficacy The People Of Pontianak City. This Study Used A Quasi-Experimental Research With A Pretest-Posttest Approach With A Control Group. The Intervention And Control Groups Each Consisted Of 30 People. The Instruments Used Are Questionnaires And Statistical Tests Using Marginal Homogeneity. The Results Showed That Cardiac Arrest First Aid Training With The SELAMAT Model Was Effective In Increasing The Self-Efficacy Of The People In Pontianak City With P Value 0.000. The "SELAMAT" Model Training Is One Of The Training Models That Can Increase The Community's Self-Efficacy In Providing First Aid For Cardiac Arrest.

Abstract

The Recommendation System can produce system requirements data that is more descriptive and easy to implement into software. Recommendation methods are combined to form more comprehensive recommendations based on fermat points. The education sector has never been indifferent to new technologies, and eventually switched to using the Internet. Prior to conducting this research, a review was carried out on various previous research results related to the lack of the role of knowledge space and user preferences in the data visualization recommendation system [3]. Broadly speaking, this study uses the method of recommending the Analysis and Discussion system. One of the main elements that must be considered in the system analysis stage is software problems, because the software used must be in accordance with the problem to be solved. In this stage, the search and collection of data and knowledge obtained by the expert system are carried out. A machine learning-based recommendation system for undergraduate study programs can help prospective new students choose the right study program according to their interests and talents. The classification model used can produce fairly high accuracy in recommending undergraduate study programs to prospective new students.

Abstract

Secret marriages or Urfi marriages based on custom are widely known among Indonesians. This type of marriage is contrary to Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage and the implementation of Government Regulation No. 9 of 1975 on the Implementation of Law No. 1 of 1974. In light of this, this study aims to analyze the reality of Urfi marriages in Mahato Village, Tambusai Utara District, with a focus on the factors causing their occurrence and the role of the religious affairs office in addressing the issue. The research method used is qualitative, based on descriptive studies, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and document analysis. The following is the revised version. The results of the study reveal that the factor causing the high rate of Urfi marriages is the perception that a marriage certificate is not important for every married couple. However, this situation can cause difficulties for them, especially in the event of administrative problems. The religious affairs office provides education to the community, especially young people, as a preventive measure. This study supports George Homans' Social Exchange Theory, which explains that individual decisions in social relationships, including marriage, are often influenced by considerations of benefits and costs, including administrative and legal aspects of marriage.

Abstract

Land problem can experienced by whole community. Increasing population, development and access of many people to obtain land as the basic capital of various interests, some times becomes a conflict. Conflict over lands are  actual issues that always comes up. One alternative solution to the land conflict is mediation. This mediation alternative has the characteristic that is short time, structurized, task orientation and a way of intervention involving various parties actively. The success of mediation is determined by the goddwill of both parties are in conflict to find an agreed way out. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pemanfaatan kaidah tafsir dalam menafsirkan konsep nasikh dan mansukh dalam Al-Qur’an, yang merupakan aspek fundamental dalam memahami dinamika syariat Islam. Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu pentingnya pemahaman terhadap nasikh-mansukh guna menghindari kekeliruan dalam penetapan hukum serta menjaga konsistensi tafsir ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan sumber primer seperti Al-Itqān fī ‘Ulūm al-Qur’ān karya al-Suyuthi, serta literatur sekunder lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kaidah tafsir yang tepat, seperti prinsip bahwa nasakh hanya bisa ditetapkan dengan dalil qat’i serta pengutamaan takhsis daripada nasakh, berperan penting dalam memahami ayat-ayat yang tampak kontradiktif. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pemahaman yang keliru terhadap konsep nasikh-mansukh dapat menimbulkan kesalahan dalam penetapan hukum Islam. Oleh karena itu, penguasaan kaidah tafsir menjadi syarat mutlak bagi mufassir dan mujtahid. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti perbedaan pandangan ulama mengenai keberadaan nasakh, serta urgensi memahami konteks dan kronologi turunnya ayat dalam penafsiran yang sahih.

Abstract

Traditional pesantren architecture has yet to be defined by a specific building type as it encompasses both educational and residential buildings. Many researchers explore the curriculum and its educational issues, but they often overlook the fact that all activities are closely related to where they occur. The morphology of building complexes identifies the history of buildings, including the reason for their development. This paper explores the morphology of building complexes in traditional pesantren to analyze how far the development of buildings has progressed from the old traditional pesantren since its first existence in Indonesia in general and relate it to vernacular architecture around it. A pesantren in Wajo, South Sulawesi, two pesantrens in East Kalimantan, and a pesantren in Waikabubak, East Nusa Tenggara, are the case studies used to explore the morphology. The research found that all morphologies of traditional pesantren still refer to the traditional pesantren in general. However, there are some modifications because of the needs of the pesantren's capacity and the location's natural setting. Contextualizing pesantren around the community and vernacular architecture is not the main important point for the development because recently they should prioritize santris room occupancy and more accessible building construction strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dugunakan untuk mengetahui Head Loss aliran yang terjadi pada pipa Sudden enlargement/Expansion dengan perbandingan spesimen 1, 2, dan 3 pada diameter tabung akrilik 0,2D, 0,4D, dan 0,6D. Dengan mengetahui Head Loss yang terdapat pada tiga pipa akrilik tersebut, maka akan diketahui nilai rugi tekanan yang terjadi. Dalam Penelitian ini digunakan debit 0,0005m3/s, yang mengalir pada saluran. Tekanan yang terjadi pada sisi masuk (D1) dan sisi keluar pipa (D2) Sudden Expansion akan diukur oleh manometer U. Head Loss dihitung dari perbedaan tekanan yang terjadi pada masing-masing aliran disetiap aspek rasio. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa semakin besar aspek rasio , maka senakin kecil Head Loss yang terjadi, yaitu pada aspek rasio 0,2D sebesar 0,0043 meter, aspek rasio 0,4D sebesar 0,00097 meter, aspek rasio 0,6D sebesar 0,00067 meter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis performa mesin circular saw yang dapat beroperasi pada sudut 45-90 derajat dalam industri kayu, menggunakan kayu sengon, meranti, dan jati. Parameter yang diuji meliputi kecepatan pemotongan, akurasi potongan, dan keandalan operasional, menggunakan Surface Roughness Tester dan Digital Angle Ruler. Hasil menunjukkan kayu sengon dan meranti mencapai kehalusan terbaik pada sudut 65 derajat, sementara jati menunjukkan kehalusan konsisten. Keakuratan sudut potong sangat baik pada semua sudut yang diuji. Desain dan kualitas mata gergaji serta kalibrasi mesin mempengaruhi presisi dan kehalusan potongan. Rekomendasi mencakup pemilihan mesin dengan kemampuan sudut potong variabel, kalibrasi dan perawatan rutin, serta pemahaman sifat material kayu untuk menentukan sudut potong dan jenis mata gergaji optimal. Temuan ini membantu industri kayu meningkatkan produktivitas dan kualitas produk.

Abstract

RETRACTED (double submission) This article discusses the reconstruction of the history of the struggle of the kyai and santri in fighting for and defending Indonesian independence. This is important to do because recently the spirit of nationalism of the Indonesian people has begun to erode and some even consider it as an understanding that is contrary to Islam. By using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques through literature studies and historical facts, this paper shows that the true spirit of Nationalism needs to continue to be instilled in the souls of all the nation's children, because it is the result of the jihad of the kyai and the santri. This paper does not intend to deny the struggle of the heroes who did not come from the kyai and the santri, because those involved in the struggle are fighters who have sacrificed everything for the independence of Indonesia, of course in this case regardless of religion, ethnicity and race. The results of this study can at least provide input to policy makers that it is necessary to continuously instil the spirit of Nationalism by reviving the spirit of jihad to defend the State because it is still relevant to the condition of the nation. Jihad does not mean physical warfare against fellow children of the nation who are against the ideology of Nationalism, but providing continuous guidance on how the spirit of Nationalism is an inseparable part of Islamic teachings.
