Abstract

Perilaku bullying di sekolah merupakan masalah sosial yang berdampak signifikan pada perkembangan emosional dan sosial siswa. Bullying tidak hanya merusak hubungan interpersonal, tetapi juga dapat menurunkan prestasi akademik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji model penguatan karakter oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying di SMKN 1 Kota Bima. Model ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman, nyaman, dan kondusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan selama 3 Bulan, dari awal September hingga Desember. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di SMKN 1 Kota Bima, dengan sampel yang terdiri dari guru PAI, pihak Bimbingan Konseling (BK), serta siswa sebagai partisipan. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung, serta data sekunder yang diperoleh dari dokumentasi dan literatur terkait. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sementara itu, teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan penyajian data berdasarkan tema-tema yang muncul dari hasil wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan karakter oleh guru PAI berfokus pada pemberian nasihat dan pembinaan moral kepada pelaku bullying melalui pendekatan berbasis ajaran agama Islam, yang mengajarkan kasih sayang, toleransi, dan saling menghormati. Selain itu, pihak BK turut berperan dalam memberikan pembinaan lanjutan serta tindakan disipliner, seperti skorsing, untuk kasus bullying fisik. Model ini terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku bullying dan menciptakan suasana sekolah yang lebih aman dan mendukung bagi seluruh siswa. Kesimpulannya, penguatan karakter yang dilakukan oleh guru PAI di SMKN 1 Kota Bima melalui pendekatan berbasis nilai-nilai agama Islam memberikan dampak positif dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying dan membentuk karakter siswa yang lebih baik. Pembinaan yang dilakukan baik secara preventif maupun kuratif mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih harmonis dan kondusif bagi perkembangan siswa. Model penguatan karakter oleh guru PAI di SMKN 1 Kota Bima dapat mengurangi perilaku bullying dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai agama seperti kasih sayang, kejujuran, dan saling menghormati. Dengan pendekatan ini, siswa diharapkan lebih peduli terhadap sesama, menghindari perilaku negatif, dan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman dan harmonis. Penelitian selanjutnya perlu mengeksplorasi dampak jangka panjang penguatan karakter oleh guru PAI terhadap bullying. Sekolah harus mengintegrasikan nilai agama dalam kurikulum, meningkatkan pelatihan guru, dan memperkuat kolaborasi dengan orang tua serta masyarakat untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar bebas bullying.

Abstract

The mini bank laboratory is a good initiative for student empowerment, aimed at providing a deeper understanding of banking products and services, as well as effective and efficient financial management. The mini bank laboratory at FEBI UIN Syekh Wasil Kediri serves as a platform for students to develop their potential and actualize their skills in managing Islamic financial institutions. Through practical training and hands-on experience, the FEBI UIN Syekh Wasil Kediri mini bank laboratory is expected to produce a skilled and ready workforce to meet the challenges of the ever-evolving banking industry.The FEBI UIN Syekh Wasil Mini Bank has implemented several programs including internships, partnerships, and empowerment initiatives, but it has not yet become a unit that generates income for the faculty or the university. The purpose of this study is to provide assistance in optimizing the internship, partnership, and empowerment programs so that the mini bank can serve as an income-generating unit.The approach method used is service learning, a learning method that combines academic learning with real-life experiences in service and development within the mini bank laboratory. The targets of this program optimization include generating income for the university, providing efficient and affordable services, serving as a practical learning environment, and developing Islamic financial products.The outcomes of this program include improved quality among internship participants, increased participants in the BSI application as a partnership platform, and a rise in beneficiaries of the empowerment program. However, the mini bank has not yet succeeded in generating income for the faculty or the university.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes and participation of second-grade students at SDIT Al Furqon on the topic of measuring units of length, caused by the use of conventional lecture methods. The focus of this classroom action research was to improve student learning outcomes and teacher performance through the application of discussion methods combined with a length unit board. As a crucial step, this research was conducted in two cycles, each encompassing planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 22 second-grade students, with quantitative data from learning evaluations and qualitative data from teacher performance observations analyzed descriptively. The main findings showed significant improvement in each cycle. In cycle I, student learning completion reached 81.81%, increasing to 86.36% with an average score of 89.77 in cycle II. Teacher performance also improved substantially, with more effective time management and student interaction. In conclusion, the use of discussion methods and the length unit board as a teaching aid has proven effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes and teacher performance by transforming abstract concepts into concrete concepts and creating a more active classroom atmosphere. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar dan partisipasi siswa kelas II SDIT Al Furqon pada materi pengukuran satuan panjang, yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan metode ceramah konvensional. Fokus penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan kinerja guru melalui penerapan metode diskusi yang dikombinasikan dengan alat peraga papan satuan panjang. Sebagai langkah penting, penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 22 siswa kelas II, dengan data kuantitatif dari hasil evaluasi belajar dan data kualitatif dari observasi kinerja guru yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Temuan utama menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan di setiap siklus. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 81,81%, dan meningkat menjadi 86,36% dengan rata-rata nilai 89,77 pada siklus II. Kinerja guru juga membaik secara substansial, dengan manajemen waktu dan interaksi siswa yang lebih efektif. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan metode diskusi dan alat peraga papan satuan panjang terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika dan kinerja guru, dengan mengubah konsep abstrak menjadi konkret serta menciptakan suasana kelas yang lebih aktif.

Abstract

Increasing community capacity in dealing with natural disasters is a crucial step to reduce the risks and impacts caused by disasters. Nagari Andaleh, which is located in a disaster-prone area, especially in the West Sumatra region, often faces the threat of natural disasters that have the potential to damage social, economic and environmental life. This study aims to identify and develop strategies to increase the capacity of the Nagari Andaleh community in facing the flash floods disasters. With the holding of KKN-MBKM Disaster activities in Nagari Andaleh hosted by Andalas University, students and lecturers conducted socialization and in-depth surveys to the community, found an increase in community knowledge and awareness of disaster risks, as well as an increase in the ability to evacuate independently. Therefore, it is important to increase community capacity in order to reduce vulnerability and increase community resilience in the face of disasters that occur.

Abstract

The construction of Dhoho Airport in Kediri is expected to stimulate local economic growth but also presents notable risks to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study provides a critical evaluation from an Eco-Theology perspective, an approach rarely used in Indonesian infrastructure and SDG research, thereby offering fresh ethical-environmental insights. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered from literature, official documents, and interviews. The findings reveal partial SDG achievement (Goals 1, 4, 8, 11, and 17), while others remain unmet (Goals 2, 3, 5–7, 12–16). Major challenges include conversion of productive agricultural land, heightened noise and air pollution (noise levels reaching 43.72% in Grogol Village), and increased risks of landslides and flooding due to inadequate water management in hilly areas. Originality and Significance this research fills a gap by integrating eco-theological ethics into infrastructure evaluation, highlighting moral responsibilities often overlooked in policy debates on sustainability. The study bridges theology, ecology, and development studies, emphasizing that sustainable infrastructure must address not only technical and economic goals but also humanity’s ethical duty to protect and care for the environment. Pembangunan Bandara Dhoho di Kediri diharapkan dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal, namun juga menimbulkan risiko signifikan terhadap pencapaian 17 Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs). Studi ini memberikan evaluasi kritis dari perspektif Eco-Theology, pendekatan yang jarang digunakan dalam penelitian infrastruktur dan SDGs di Indonesia, sehingga menawarkan wawasan etis-lingkungan yang baru. Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dari literatur, dokumen resmi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pencapaian sebagian SDGs (Tujuan 1, 4, 8, 11, dan 17), sementara yang lain belum terpenuhi (Tujuan 2, 3, 5–7, 12–16). Tantangan utama meliputi konversi lahan pertanian produktif, peningkatan polusi suara dan udara (tingkat kebisingan mencapai 43,72% di Desa Grogol), serta risiko longsor dan banjir yang meningkat akibat pengelolaan air yang tidak memadai di daerah berbukit. Keaslian dan Signifikansi penelitian ini mengisi celah dengan mengintegrasikan etika ekoteologi ke dalam evaluasi infrastruktur, menyoroti tanggung jawab moral yang sering diabaikan dalam debat kebijakan tentang keberlanjutan. Studi ini menjembatani teologi, ekologi, dan studi pembangunan, menekankan bahwa infrastruktur berkelanjutan harus tidak hanya memenuhi tujuan teknis dan ekonomi tetapi juga kewajiban etis manusia untuk melindungi dan merawat lingkungan.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aimed to develop a health coaching model grounded in these theoretical frameworks. Methods: An explanatory cross-sectional design was employed, involving 155 caregivers purposively recruited from seven primary health care centers in Makassar, Indonesia. Eligible participants were primary caregivers from nuclear or extended families, aged ≥18, with complete contact information, available for home visits, and referred by the mental health program coordinator. Study variables included family, caregiver, patient, nurse, and health care service factors, as well as health coaching, planned behavior, behavioral intention, and caregiver ability. Data were collected between February to June 2024 using structured questionnaires and analyzed with Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (SmartPLS v3.8). Results: The family, patient, and nurse-related factors significantly affected health coaching. These factors, along with caregiver characteristics, also affected planned behavior, which in turn significantly influenced behavioral intention and caregiver ability. Conclusions: Health coaching directly improved caregivers’ capability. These findings highlight the importance of comprehensive health coaching and family-centered training as integral components of mental health services.

Abstract

The celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day on August 17th is not only a historical commemoration but also holds potential as a character education medium within pesantren environments. This study aims to examine how the implementation of Independence Day competitions at the Aliyah level of Pesantren Tahfizh Ibnu Aqil serves as a means of internalizing educational values among students. The competitions include quiz contests, ranking 1 contests, proclamation text reading, national and regional song choir, classroom decoration, and bulletin board contests all designed to be educational and contextually relevant. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation throughout the activities. The results show that these competitions effectively foster essential character values such as nationalism, cooperation, responsibility, discipline, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning. The active participation of 111 students across six Aliyah classes demonstrates that these activities holistically and sustainably shape the students’ character.

Abstract

Oral health education through home visits using the Sogi book for elementary school-aged children in Batoh village is an effective approach to improving the quality of one's health through improved dental health. This community service project was conducted using analytical methods, targeting children and their parents as respondents. Data analysis used univariate analysis using the T-test. The intervention provided included problem-based counseling, measuring children's dental health status, and demonstrating tooth brushing. The results showed an increase in mothers' knowledge, attitudes, and practices, as well as improvements in children's dental hygiene after the educational intervention through home visits using the Sogi Book. The average scores for knowledge, attitudes, and practices decreased (became better) from pre-intervention to post-test 1, and further decreased at post-test 2. These changes demonstrate a consistent and sustainable pattern, indicating that the education provided is not only effective in the short term but also maintains its impact in the medium term. The decrease in the PHPM score from 2.14 at pre-intervention to 1.10.

Abstract

Oral and dental health is a very important aspect of overall health that should not be ignored by everyone. The importance of increasing public awareness of oral and dental health based on government targets is very necessary to support Healthy Indonesia in 2030. The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge by conducting dental health education and practicing skills by brushing teeth together. Behavior in terms of oral and dental health is an aspect that must be considered because a person's behavior is very dependent on the knowledge they have. This community service uses lecture and interview methods. The target of this community service activity is the community of Lamlumpu Lhok Peukan Bada Aceh Besar Village, totaling 30 people. Before the education, a pre-test was conducted, then interviews were conducted with the community to measure their level of knowledge. The realization of this activity can increase community knowledge and abilities about dental health. The results of this community service activity show an increase in community knowledge about oral and dental health from 56,7% pretest to 83% posttest and DMF-T results with the number of respondents 10 people with moderate criteria (1-3). Based on the results of this activity, it can be concluded that there was an increase in public knowledge after being given counseling in the form of lectures and an increase in the correct way of brushing teeth.

Abstract

Low public awareness regarding oral hygiene can lead to a high prevalence of dental diseases such as caries and periodontal conditions. Health education using appropriate media is expected to improve public knowledge, one of which is through poster media. Objective: To determine the effect of dental health education using poster media on improving patients’ knowledge of oral hygiene at Aceh Jaya Public Health Center. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach. A total of 58 patients were assigned to both the intervention and control groups using purposive sampling. The intervention group received dental health education using posters, while the control group received no intervention. A validated questionnaire on toothbrushing knowledge was used as the assessment tool. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test due to non-normal data distribution. There was a statistically significant increase in knowledge in both the intervention group (p = 0.000) and the control group (p = 0.007), with a greater improvement observed in the intervention group. All respondents in the intervention group either showed improvement or maintained their knowledge level, with no decrease observed. Dental health education using poster media is effective in increasing patients’ knowledge of oral hygiene at Aceh Jaya Public Health Center. This method is recommended as part of health promotion strategies in primary healthcare settings.
