Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar di butuhkan suatu perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran karena metode pendekatan konvensional dalam pembelajaran selama ini karena banyak dari peserta didik tidak memahami apa yang disampaikan. Media pembelajaran adalah suatu sarana yang bisa digunakan dalam pembelajaran agar pesan yang ingin ungkapkan bisa tersampaikan dengan tepat dan jelas dan agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai dengan efektif dan efisien. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan Research and Development adalah sebuah pendekatan yang sistematis dalam pengembangan sebuah produk, dalam hal ini pengembangan media berupa video animasi mengenai kerajaan Sriwijaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu, validasi dan poling untuk mengetahui hasil tentang keberhasilan penerapan media video pemembelajaran yang diterapkan kepada siswa dan tingkat pemahaman siswa, keberlanjutan perhatian, dan kesan mereka terhadap penggunaan media tersebut. Hasil validasi yang didapat adalah video pembelajaran layak digunakan dengan sedikit revisi dengan nilai keseluruhan 25% baik dan 75% sangat baik. Video pembelajaran meningkatkan minat siswa terbukti dari hasil skor 17 siswa yang menyatakan berminat sebanyak 11,76% dan sangat berminat 88,24%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari implementasi video animasi yang telah di uji cobakan pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pinang membuktikan bahwa video animasi dapat meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar sehingga guru dapat mengimplementasikan video animasi pada pembelajaran karena hal ini efektif untuk meningkatkan minat siswa.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology encourages the emergence of the latest innovations in various aspects of human life, including education. One popular innovation in education is the use of gamification-based educational applications. This application is packaged in an interesting and interactive way, like a game, for example, the duolingo game. The duolingo game is an application that presents language learning materials in the form of interactive and fun games or challenges. Apart from being an educational game, this duolingo application can also improve linguistic abilities in students. This study aims to determine the effect of the application or implementation of the duolingo game on linguistic abilities in students. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting literature related to the title of the study or discussion taken. From the research that has been done, the results show that the implementation of the duolingo game has a significant positive effect on students' linguistic abilities, and can increase students' enthusiasm or enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

The topic raised in this article is about the existence of the diversity of morning snacks for the people of Palembang in 2014-2021, is a study of various kinds of food sold in the morning in the city of Palembang. The existence of morning snacks in the community still exists even though morning snacks are only as a support before lunch. In this study the method used is a qualitative method by collecting primary and secondary sources through literature study, observation, and direct interviews. There is also a sociological approach that looks at the development of society in Palembang. The purpose of this research is to encourage local wisdom, especially food, to redevelop existing culinary cultural values and to preserve morning food in the future so that it still exists. Thus, it is hoped that the local wisdom of Palembang city food will be able to exist and still be known, enjoyed, and liked by the people of Palembang and the general public.

Abstract

Pemerintah telah memberikan bantuan perangkat agar guru menyajikan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dengan menggunakan teknologi. Namun, masih banyak guru yang tidak memasukkan teknologi dalam pembelajarannya karena kurangnya pengetahuan tentang aplikasi yang mudah untuk mendukung pembelajaran. Peserta pelatihan dan pendampingan diikuti oleh 29 guru di SD Negeri 25 Palembang. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam 4 tahap kegiatan yaitu tahap awal, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan penutup. Pelatihan yang diberikan kepada peserta mampu memberikan pemahaman yang baik tentang aplikasi Canva dan Liveworksheet serta cara penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran. Peserta juga terbukti mampu menerapkan ilmu yang diperolehnya dalam kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan. Proses pelatihan disertai dengan bimbingan individu juga dapat memastikan bahwa peserta menguasai penerapannya. Hasil evaluasi posttest menunjukkan peningkatan dari evaluasi pretest yang telah dilakukan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan tersebut efektif dan dapat dijadikan acuan untuk pengembangan dan penyempurnaan proyek pelatihan di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using e-module teaching materials in history education. This study is development research conducted using direct observation techniques and the distribution of questionnaire surveys to the research location, in this case, SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. The development of teaching materials was conducted using the Rowntree model, which comprises three stages: planning, development, and evaluation. The criteria utilized included the success rate and students’ achievement in learning activities. The research findings indicate that the utilization of case-based learning e-modules is valid and suitable for history education in classrooms. This is supported by assessments from three validators of the materials, media and language aspects of the e-module, categorized as highly valid (4.4); individual assessments as valid (4.1); and small group assessments as highly valid (4.2). Moreover, there is a noticeable improvement in the students’ learning outcomes, classified as valid (88.0), with an effectiveness score of N-gain reaching 0.80, falling into the high or very effective category.

Abstract

This article discusses on the religious authority of the Habaib in Palembang, starting from the arrival of the Habaib, namely during the sultanate, post-sultanate periods and its relationship with the Cawisan culture in Palembang. Cawisan are joint dhikr activities, public lectures, recitations held in mosques, prayer rooms and other places devoted to religious learning. Interest in cawisan in Palembang during the New Orde experienced a decline for various reasons. In the end, the Habaib became the new authority in the midst of Palembang's Muslim community by actively teaching in the cawisan room at the beginning of the  21st  century. The issues raised in this study are Cawisan culture in the early  21st  century and the religious authority of Habaib in Cawisan culture in Palembang. This type of research is a qualitative approach and is carried out based on the right data through interviews with four informants namely Habib Mahdi Muhammad Syahab, Habib Ali Karror al-Haddad, Raden Muhammad Ikhsan, and Kemas Andi Syarifuddin. The results of this study indicate that the Habaib have a role accompanied by authority in the cawisan culture at the beginning of the  21st  century while in the previous era the independent kiai were much more influential in the cawisan culture.

Abstract

One form of local wisdom in Palembang is the culinary. The most famous culinary in the Palembang city is pempek. Pempek culinary can be used as the identity of the Palembang city. Pempek Palembang has great potential for culinary business and must be preserved. Pempek Palembang is very famous for its specialties, with the basic ingredients for making it are fish meat and sago which are in accordance with the natural resources that exist in the city of Palembang. Pempek Palembang is served with a black sauce known as cuko. Pempek culinary as Palembang icon can be seen from the existence of the pempek culinary where the pempek culinary is in great demand among the people of South Sumatra and outside the region. Pempek culinary as icon of Palembang city, when people know pempek culinary they know Palembang city. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, where in this method there are several stages of data collection by means of interviews, observations, and documentation. The purpose of this study is to provide understanding/knowledge to the people of Palembang city that culinary can be an identity, heritage, and pride of the community. This can make pempek culinary an icon of the city of Palembang. space between lines.

Abstract

There are still many teachers who have difficulty planning learning activities carefully. The majority of teachers do not complete the administration book because it has to be done manually. Therefore, this research aims to develop Google Sites-based teacher administration in elementary schools. This type of research is development research using the Rowntree model to produce and test products. Meanwhile, at the material evaluation stage, tessmer formative evaluation is used. This research involved material experts, language experts, design experts and practitioner experts. The subjects of this research were class and study teachers in elementary schools with a total of 21 people. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, documentation and tests. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire sheet. Data were analyzed using qualitative, quantitative and N-gain descriptive analysis. The results of the practicality test at the one to one test stage obtained an average of 90.83% and the small group test obtained an average of 92.75% (very practical). The results of the effectiveness test on the pretest and posttest results with an average N-gain value of 0.74, high category. It can be concluded that teacher administration with Google Sites innovation in elementary schools is very valid and practical for teachers to use. This research has implications for the development of Google Sites-based teacher administration which in the future can improve teacher performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis activity was carried out by the Service Team for the History Education Study Program, FKIP Sriwijaya University in 2022 using the Zoom Meeting application. The urgency behind the implementation of this activity is the lack of optimal learning of local history in high schools in Palembang and its surroundings. The socialization of the preservation of Sriwijaya heritage in the city of Palembang is one of the many local histories found in the province of South Sumatra, precisely in the city of Palembang. So far, teachers have only focused on national history materials contained in government textbooks. In fact, the material in government textbooks is far from the reality and circumstances that surround students. The method used in this activity is the lecture method which is varied with discussion and question and answer, as well as assignments made by participants. This activity can be said to be successfully carried out with indicators of an increase in the understanding of teachers regarding the socialization of the Sriwijaya heritage in Palembang City with an average pre-test score of 40 and an average post-test score of 90. This figure shows a difference of 50 which means there is increasing understanding of the socialization of the remains of Sriwijaya in Palembang City by carrying out community service activities in the form of socializing local history materials.Keywords: Material socialization, Sriwijaya's legacy in Palembang City, Local history learning, History teacher throughout Palembang City. ABSTRAKKegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh Tim Pengabdian Prodi Pendidikan Sejarah FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya tahun 2022 dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting. Adapun urgensi yang melatarbelakangi dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini adalah kurang optimalnya pembelajaran sejarah lokal di SMA yang ada di Palembang dan sekitarnya. Sosialisi pelestarian peninggalan Sriwijaya Di kota Palembang merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak sejarah lokal yang terdapat di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, tepatnya di Kota Palembang. Selama ini para guru hanya berfokus pada materi sejarah nasional yang terdapat di dalam buku teks pemerintah. Padahal, materi yang ada di dalam buku-buku teks pemerintah jauh dari realitas dan keadaan yang ada di sekitar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah yang divariasikan dengan diskusi dan tanya-jawab, serta penugasan yang dilakukan oleh peserta. Kegiatan ini dapat dikatakan berhasil dilaksanakan dengan indikator terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman para guru mengenai sosialisasi tinggalan Sriwijaya di Kota Palembang dengan skor rata-rata pre-test sebesar 40 dan skor rata-rata post-test sebesar 90. Angka tersebut menunjukkan selisih sebesar 50 yang berarti terdapat peningkatan pemahaman terhadap sosialisasi tinggalan Sriwijaya di Kota Palembang dengan dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dalam bentuk sosialisasi materi sejarah lokal.Kata Kunci: Sosialisasi materi, Tinggalan Sriwijaya di Kota Palembang, Pembelajaran sejarah lokal, Guru sejarah se-Kota Palembang.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a needs analysis of website learning resources for material on the distribution of megaliths in local history courses in South Sumatra. Technological advances have a significant impact on life that cannot be avoided, because science and technology has many benefits that make human work easier quickly and practically. Science and technology has a big influence in various fields, one of which is education. Education really needs new innovations in the form of technology created to improve the quality and quality of students. At this stage the researcher collected data related to learning resources on megalithic distribution websites in the local history course. The research method chosen in this research is research and development (R&D). The subjects in this research were 234 History Education students. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Researchers distributed questionnaires to students via Google Forms. The data analysis technique used by researchers is interactive data analysis technique. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that 50.4% of students stated the importance of learning local history, 51.7% needed local history learning resources, 64.5% liked audiovisual media, 66.2% had internet access, 99.1% needed websites and 50. 9% need a video feature on the website. Therefore, to help improve the quality of learning, website learning resources are an alternative.
