Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas V mengalami peningkatan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, serta mendeskripsikan bagaimana model tersebut diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas V pada kelas IPA,  dan mengetahui perbedaan kemandirian peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model problem based kearning dengan kelas kontrol tanpa dilakukan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Penelitian ini memakai metode kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini kelas V SDN Margasari dengan sampel kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain dan statisik inferensial. Hasil dinyatakan dengan uji N-Gain yang mempunyai  nilai rata-rata 0,3581, selain itu nilai rata-rata skala akhir sebesar 81,75 pada kelas eksperimen dan 72,17 pada kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari uji-t pada tafar ?=0,05 diperoleh nilai Sig. (2- tailed) sebesar 0,000<0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas V pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model problem based learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan guru sekolah dasar di Provinsi Banten dengan mengembangkan sebuah kerangka integratif yang menghubungkan technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) dengan kearifan lokal melalui pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (AI). Program ini dilaksanakan melalui model workshop-based learning dengan tahapan pelatihan, pendampingan, dan uji coba media. Guru-guru dilatih menggunakan berbagai aplikasi AI (seperti ChatGPT, Canva AI, dan Google Gemini) untuk merancang media pembelajaran interaktif yang menginternalisasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Banten. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (p < 0,01) pada literasi digital guru, yang diukur menggunakan Digital Literacy for Educators Scale (DLES), dengan skor rata-rata meningkat dari 56,4% menjadi 87,2%. Selain peningkatan kompetensi, teramati pula peningkatan kreativitas guru dalam mengkontekstualisasikan materi ajar. Luaran berkelanjutan dari program ini adalah terbentuknya komunitas “Guru Cerdas Digital Banten” sebagai wadah berbagi praktik baik. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi AI dan kearifan lokal tidak hanya memperkuat inovasi pedagogis tetapi juga menawarkan sebuah model praktis untuk pelestarian budaya di era digital.

Abstract

Science learning in several schools in the Serang district still rarely conducts practicum, although practicum kits are available. Therefore, it is necessary to train teachers who are members of the Science MGMP Serang District. The purpose of the activity is to improve the skills of teachers to design simple practicums and use practicum kits. Activities were carried out in the duration of 34 JP in the form of training and assignment activities. Training session 1 was conducted online with output in the form of practicum designs made by teachers, while session 2 training was carried out offline at SMP Negeri 1 Ciruas. Academic evaluation is carried out on the collected tasks and non-academic evaluation includes participants' responses to training activities. The data obtained were analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the activity showed that teachers had varied teaching experiences, and the number of assignments collected was 40 practicum designs. Teachers are skilled in drafting practicum designs and using kits well. Teachers are satisfied with the training activities and hope that the activities can be carried out sustainably. After the activity, teachers are expected to be able to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained to carry out practicum activities in learning science at their respective schools

Abstract

This research aims to explore lecturers’ perceptions of the use of e-learning in supporting performance in the English Language Education Study Program. Data was collected through a survey using a questionnaire distributed to lecturers at several universities. The research results show that the majority of lecturers have good knowledge about e-learning and recognize its benefits in supporting the learning process. However, problems related to accessibility and quality of internet networks are a major concern, with most lecturers stating that e-learning is ineffective for students in areas with limited internet access. Despite facing technical challenges, the majority of lecturers still feel happy and satisfied in using e-learning as a learning medium. In conclusion, efforts to improve technological infrastructure, training and support related to e-learning must be strengthened to improve the quality of learning and performance of lecturers in the English Language Education Study Program.

Abstract

Modern aircraft maintenance requires technicians to demonstrate higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) to diagnose and resolve complex avionic system failures. However, assessment practices in vocational avionic training often emphasize procedural recall rather than analytical and evaluative reasoning. This study addresses this gap by developing and evaluating Quizizz-based interactive learning media and HOTS-oriented assessments tailored to avionic training contexts. A research and development approach employing the ADDIE model was implemented using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The study involved 22 avionic trainees at the Lion Group Training Center, Tangerang. Data were collected through expert validation, trainee questionnaires, interviews, and pretest–posttest assessments. Statistical analyses included normality testing, paired-sample t-tests, and N-Gain analysis. Expert validation indicated high feasibility of the developed media, with acceptance rates of 83% from media experts and 88% from material experts, while trainee responses reached 86%. Descriptive statistics showed a substantial increase in posttest mean scores compared to pretest results. The paired-sample t-test revealed a statistically significant improvement in critical thinking skills (p 0.05). The N-Gain score (mean = 0.58) indicated a moderate-to-high level of learning improvement. The findings suggest that scenario-based, gamified assessments delivered through Quizizz effectively support the development of critical thinking skills in avionic training. This study highlights the potential of integrating HOTS-oriented digital assessments in vocational education while recommending further multi-site and longitudinal research to strengthen generalizability.

Abstract

The complexity of biogeochemical cycles often presents challenges for high school students due to abstract concepts and limited visual learning tools. Augmented Reality (AR) offers an innovative approach to enhance students’ conceptual understanding through interactive and immersive media. This study employed a Research and Development (RD) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). AR-based instructional media focused on biogeochemical cycles was developed and tested on 30 tenth-grade students and 2 biology teachers at SMAN 1 Pontang. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, questionnaires, interviews, and observations, and analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative methods. The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding, with average scores increasing from 56.30 (pre-test) to 84.70 (post-test), yielding a gain score of 0.65 (moderate to high). Statistical analysis confirmed this improvement as significant (t(29) = 12.45, p 0.001; Cohen’s d = 1.86). Expert validation indicated high feasibility (≥88%), while student and teacher feedback highlighted strengths in interactivity, 3D visualization, and usability. The study demonstrates that AR-based media can effectively support learning of abstract biological concepts by promoting active engagement and visual comprehension. Its application aligns with constructivist learning theories and multimedia learning principles, offering promise for broader use in science education.

Abstract

Roller press is a comminution machine that works based on contact force and compression force at high pressure. Several operational constraints, such as hydraulic pressure, can cause the roller press feed to malfunction, leading to performance degradation. This study aims to analyze the effect of material feed characteristics on roller press performance in the finish mill unit of PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa, Tbk. The methods used include Particle Size Distribution (PSD) analysis, free lime test, tricalcium silicate (C3S), and Work Index (WI) testing on samples from clinker plant 7 (P7) and plant 8 (P8). Roller press operational parameters hydraulic pressure, and grinding pressure, were analyzed to spread the impact of particle size distribution on comminution efficiency. The results showed that optimal roller press performance was achieved when the PSD material was evenly distributed with f80 of 12.98 mm and a reduction ratio of 8.16. The specific grinding power required was 5.33 N/mm² with a power consumption of 6.92 kWh/t. In addition, clinker with C3S content of 62.53% and free lime of 1.25% had better grind-ability, with WI value of 12.90 kWh/t, which contributed to a comminution efficiency of 12.50%. The conclusion of this study is that the particle size distribution of feed material greatly affects the operational parameters of roller press and energy efficiency. Material with more even size distribution and better grind-ability results in more effective comminution performance and lower energy consumption, which has implications for improving the efficiency of grinding process in the cement industry.

Abstract

Katak merupakan salah satu jenis hewan amfibi yang dikonsumsi oleh sebagian masyarakat, namun status hukumnya masih menjadi perdebatan di kalangan ulama fiqh. Perbedaan pandangan ini disebabkan oleh perbedaan penafsiran terhadap dalil Al-Qur’an, Hadis, serta metode istinbath hukum yang digunakan oleh masing-masing mazhab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis status hukum memakan katak dalam perspektif fiqh al-Islami serta mengkaji dasar-dasar hukum yang melatarbelakangi perbedaan pendapat ulama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan, melalui penelaahan sumber-sumber hukum Islam berupa Al-Qur’an, Hadis, pendapat ulama, dan literatur fiqh klasik maupun kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas ulama mengharamkan konsumsi katak dengan dasar larangan membunuh katak dalam hadis, sementara sebagian pendapat lain meninjaunya dari aspek habitat dan klasifikasi hewan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman komprehensif mengenai hukum memakan katak serta menjadi rujukan bagi masyarakat Muslim dalam menentukan sikap hukum yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariat Islam.

Abstract

Misconceptions are one of the main obstacles in the junior high school science learning process, especially in the subject of the digestive system, because students often maintain incorrect understandings that impact their mastery of advanced concepts. To address this issue, this study designed an interactive Android-based educational game using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) as an alternative solution to minimize misconceptions. The main objectives of this study include testing the validity of the media produced and assessing student responses to the application of these educational games in science learning. This study applied the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation process was carried out by subject matter experts, media experts, and practitioners (junior high school science teachers) using a questionnaire instrument, while limited testing involved students through a response questionnaire. The validation results show that subject matter experts gave a score of 87.75%, media experts 94.39%, and practitioner experts 85.50%, with an average validity level of 89.21%, which falls into the “highly valid” category. Meanwhile, student responses obtained a percentage of 88.67% and were in the “very good” category, confirming that the learning media developed was not only appropriate in terms of content and appearance, but also well received by direct users, and it is recommended to be further developed with broader coverage and tested on a larger scale to obtain more comprehensive findings.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran REACT pada tema etnobotani menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah metode Quasy Experiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini melibatkan eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran REACT dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes yang dibuat untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis One Sample T-Test (pihak kanan) melalui software statistika. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata nilai pretest kedua kelas tidak jauh berbeda. Setelah selesai pembelajaran, skor rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih signifikan dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis One Sample T-Test yang dilakukan dalam penelitian dimana thitung > ttabel dengan nilai 74.571 > 1.99834, dimana ketentuan pengambilan keputusan adalah H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, jika nilai thitung > ttabel. Dengan demikian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran REACT pada tema etnobotani menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada tema yang sama.
