Abstract

Abstract: Bullying in Malaysian secondary schools is a serious issue with the prevalence of cases continuing to increase and adversely affecting the mental health of adolescents. At SAM Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Selangor, Malaysia it was found that more than 30% of stu-dents still consider bullying to be a normal social dynamic. This service aims to raise awareness of the dangers of bullying, equip school residents with social-emotional skills, and create a safe and inclusive school environment. The method used in the PkM-International Partnership uses a holistic approach that combines anti-bullying education and psychosocial reinforcement for four days for 219 students. The implementation strategy includes interactive workshops, case discussions, role-play simulations, and educational poster creation. The results of the service showed a significant increase in participants' understanding with an increase in the average score from 2.99 to 3.74 (25.10%). The real impact of this activity is the strengthening of anti-bullying literacy and the formation of a more responsive internal school mechanism to build a school cul-ture that is free of violence and compassion. Abstract

This study aims to describe Muhammadiyah's views on religious tolerance and its role in building and maintaining tolerance in Indonesia. Through a literature study and hermeneutic approach, this research finds that Muhammadiyah views tolerance as a form of universal human brotherhood that is in line with Islamic teachings. Muhammadiyah implements tolerance in various inclusive social, educational, and health programs, including the acceptance of non-Muslim students in its educational institutions. Muhammadiyah's moderate and inclusive approach plays a crucial role in promoting harmony and inter-religious harmony in Indonesia, as well as actively contributing to the nation's intellectual life and general welfare. This study affirms Muhammadiyah's contribution to promoting religious tolerance and provides a tangible example of the application of tolerance values in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the tahfidz program in strengthening student character values in MTsN 3 Madiun and MTsN 2 Madiun. The research uses a qualitative paradigm with a type of field research and a phenomenological approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation with informants consisting of madrasah heads, tahfidz teachers, PAI teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis uses interactive model analysis, while data validity is carried out through triangulation and member check. The results of the study show that the two madrassas have different but equally effective tahfidz program implementation models in shaping the Qur'ani character of students. MTsN 3 Madiun implements a religious habituation approach through school culture that emphasizes examples, worship routines, and flexible tahfidz activities, while MTsN 2 Madiun implements a more structured program system with memorization targets, monitoring through mutaba'ah books, tasmi' evaluation, and parental involvement. Character internalization takes place through three dimensions of character according to Thomas Lickona, namely moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. The main supporting factors include religious leadership, teacher commitment, and a conducive school environment, while inhibiting factors include differences in students' abilities, academic burden, and psychological pressure from a strict evaluation system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the form of community support for the sustainability of the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ), find out the causes of the decline in the number of students, and analyze the relationship between community support and children's participation in TPQ activities in the Paloma Regency Makamhaji Housing area. The qualitative method was applied in this study by conducting interviews with parents or guardians of students as the main informant. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to understand the phenomenon of children's participation in non-formal religious education. The results of the study show that community support for TPQ is in the good category, but tends to be passive and not optimal in terms of active involvement. The main cause of the decline in the number of TPQ students comes from the internal condition of children, especially fatigue due to many activities in formal schools and additional activities outside of school. Community support plays a role as a contextual factor that influences children's motivation and views on the value of the importance of TPQ, but not as a major determinant of participation. In addition, this study also found that TPQ's internal strategies, such as innovation in learning, improving communication with parents, and involving local youth, are important steps in maintaining the sustainability of students amid declining community support. Therefore, the sustainability of TPQ is highly dependent on the ability of the institution to adapt to the needs of students and the social dynamics around it. The findings of this research are expected to be a consideration for TPQ managers, the community, and related parties in formulating policies and strategies for the management of non-formal religious education that are more sustainable and responsive to social change.

Abstract

Bullying in Malaysian secondary schools is a crucial issue due to the low awareness and readiness of teachers in handling cases. This service focuses on the prevention of bullying at SAM Tengku Ampuan Jemaah through an educational and psychosocial approach. The goal is to raise awareness of the dangers of bullying and equip teachers with social-emotional skills to create a safe school environment. The method applied is experiential learning through the Workshop "Building Safe Schools" with Psychological First Aid (PFA) material and the integration of spiritual values. The results showed a significant increase in the capacity of 24 participating teachers, with an average increase in understanding of 19.78% (from 3.64 to 4.36). The positive impact is to strengthen the role of teachers as safe adults who are able to carry out initial interventions in an empathetic and systematic manner, in order to encourage the creation of an inclusive and violence-free school culture.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of multiculturalism in Islamic education across various contexts and regions, and its contribution to a more inclusive and tolerant understanding of Islam. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review method, yielding 9 articles from the Scopus database. The findings indicate that multiculturalism in Islamic education effectively reduces tensions between religious and ethnic groups, while shaping individuals who respect differences in culture and belief. In Indonesia, Islamic moderation values have proven effective in fostering a more harmonious society. In Malaysia, Australia, and the United Kingdom, multicultural Islamic education plays a significant role in enhancing social cohesion. However, implementation remains challenged by limited resources, inadequate educational policies, and difficulties in designing curricula that effectively accommodate diversity. This study recommends enhanced teacher training, improved educational policies, and the development of more inclusive curricula to maximize the effectiveness of multicultural Islamic education.
