Abstract

Drying technique plays a very important role in determining the quality and continuity of the tapioca flour manufacturing process. Traditionally the drying process is carried out by farmers by utilizing the sun's heat, but problems occur when the rainy season comes while production must continue to meet needs. which requires a large area of land and is very dependent on the weather with a lot of hot sun. Based on the analysis of the results of data processing using the Taguci experimental method to determine the optimum design of the main dimensions of the economizer in the laundry factory, the following conclusions are obtained. Effect of tube diameter, lay out, pitch ratio and excess area on the economizer Tube diameter (dO) has a significant effect on the amount tube and shell diameter (Ds).Picth ratio (PR) has a significant effect on shell diameter (Ds) but has no significant effect on the number of tubes. Excess area has a significant effect on the number of tubes but has no significant effect on shell diameter (Ds).Lay out has the same effect on shell diameter and tube number. Optimum economizer conditions. Optimum tube number ( Nt ) is obtained from a combination of tube diameter ( do ) 0.0254 m, excess area (PR) 1.2 , lay out 30o and pitch ratio 1 ,2. The optimum shell diameter is obtained from a combination of tube diameter (do) 0.0381 m, pitch ratio (PR) 1.2, excess area 1.2 and lay out 30o.Keywords: Dryer, Shell Diameter, Tube Diameter

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of science and technology at this time, it has an impact on the development of the industrial world, especially in the automotive industry. The increasing number of human population in Indonesia demands the development of the provision of transportation facilities, one of the means of transportation that is widely used by the community is motorbikes. Given the ever-increasing need, motorcycle manufacturers are now competing to produce new motorcycles with various advantages, both in terms of design and technological advantages. Motorcycle manufacturers develop motorcycle components in order to achieve efficiency and good quality. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the use of 11 gram, 12 gram and 13 gram roller weight variations on the speed of the 2016 Honda Scoopy FI motorcycle. The test was carried out using a Dynoster tool by changing the roller weight according to the weight to be tested alternately then prepare the. The results of the test show that the roller weight with a weight of 11 grams is the best to use.Keywords: Roller Weight, Power and Torque

Abstract

In the development of the ignition system, the conventional ignition system will be marginalized and may not be used anymore because it is considered ineffective. What was originally using a conventional platinum ignition system on the Kijang kf40 car can be replaced or modified with a CDI electronic ignition system, in which here there are slight changes and additional components. This electronic ignition system for conventional vehicles is called the "CDI / Capacitor Discharge Ignition ignition system".Pertamax applies ecosave technology, which is a technology that is able to clean the inside of the engine, with an octane rating of 92. That way, the engine combustion will be more perfect. This test uses rpm 800, 1000, 1200. This study aims to determine the effect of using platinum ignition and cdi ignition with Pertamax fuel.Based on the results of Pertamax fuel testing for platinum ignition and CDI, the percentage of the largest value in CDI ignition / Capacitor Discharge Ignition 0.7 Milliliter is more efficient compared to platinum ignition at 800 rpm engine speed. While at 1000 RPM, CDI ignition / Discharge Ignition capacitors are 1.2 milliliter more efficient than platinum ignition. At 1,200 RPM, CDI ignition / Capacitor Discharge Ignition is 3.1 milliliter more efficient than Platinum ignition. From several rpms tested, it shows that the higher the RPM, the greater the difference in fuel consumption. Abstract

Gasoline engine is one type of internal combustion engine that is widely used as a source of power for vehicles. Gasoline engines produce power from the combustion of fuel in the cylinders. In line with the development of science and technology, there are many improvements and developments of components to add power and torque. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of modified exhaust cylinder block on power and torque on a 2 stroke Yamaha f1zr motorcycle with a modified exhaust hole height of 26 mm and a standard exhaust hole of 34 mm with a dynotest test to determine power and torque from 2500 RPM to RPM. 8000. The test results show that the maximum power at the modified exhaust hole is 12.5 HP at 7750 RPM while the standard exhaust port gets a maximum power of 11.5 HP at 7750 RPM. For the modified exhaust hole maximum torque is 11.36 Nm at 7750 RPM rotation while the standard exhaust hole obtains a maximum torque of 10.06 Nm at 7750 RPM rotation.Keywords: Power, torque, exhaust hole

Abstract

In testing the effect of using altitude mode 2 and mode 3 Beat Fi motorcycles at an altitude of 0-1000 MDPL on exhaust emissions, this study uses descriptive data analysis methods. The results of the HC test in Mode 1 get the highest results at RPM 3000, which is 481 ppm, while the lowest results at RPM 1000 are 229 ppm. In Mode 2, the highest result is obtained at RPM 3000, which is 1074 ppm, while the lowest result is at RPM 1500, which is 349 ppm. In Mode 3, the highest result is obtained at RPM 2500, which is 1052 ppm while the lowest result is at RPM 1500, which is 468 ppm, while in CO testing in Mode 1, the highest result is obtained at RPM 3000, which is 5.27%, while the lowest result is at RPM 1000, which is 1, 04%. In Mode 2, the highest result is obtained at RPM 3000, which is 6.71%, while the lowest result is at RPM 1000, which is 2.37%. In Mode 3, the highest result is obtained at RPM 3000, which is 8.16%, while the lowest result is at RPM 1500, which is 2.96. From this explanation, it can be concluded that the effect of using mode 2 and mode 3 at an altitude of 0 - 1000 MDPL in mode 2 is that the higher the rpm, the higher the HC and CO levels, while in the higher rpm mode, the HC and CO levels decrease at 3000 rpm.Keywords: Altitude Mode, Exhaust Emissions

Abstract

Abstrak ini membahas dampak penggunaan karburator aftermarket PE 26 terhadap emisi gas buang pada sepeda motor Honda Supra X 100 CC. Kendaraan bermotor, sementara menjadi bagian vital dari kehidupan modern, memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap polusi udara, terutama melalui gas emisi seperti karbon monoksida (CO) dan hidrokarbon (HC). Penelitian ini mengambil pendekatan untuk memahami pengaruh penggunaan karburator aftermarket pada kendaraan dengan mesin kecil, fokus pada model Honda Supra X 100 CC. Metode penelitian melibatkan pengujian emisi gas CO dan HC pada berbagai putaran mesin menggunakan karburator standar dan karburator aftermarket PE 26. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi perbedaan dalam emisi gas antara kedua jenis karburator. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan karburator PE 26 menghasilkan peningkatan kadar CO dan HC pada beberapa putaran mesin, meskipun tidak secara signifikan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Malaria adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh parasit (protozoa) dari genus Plasmodium sp yang dapat ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Anopheles. P. falciparum adalah salah satu organisme penyebab malaria dan merupakan jenis paling berbahaya dibandingkan dengan jenis Plasmodium lain yang menginfeksi manusia, yaitu P. vivax, P. malariae,P. ovale dan yang baru ditemui saat ini yaitu Plasmodium knowlesi. Penurunan kadar hemoglobin akan terlihat jelas pada pasien malaria yang disebabkan oleh P. falciparum dibandingkan yang disebabkan oleh P. vivax, P. ovale, dan P. malariae karena P. falciparum Tujuan : penelitian ini Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Infeksi Plasmodium sp dengan Kadar Hemoglobin. Metode:. Tahun yang digunakan dalam penyaringan referensi yaitu terbitan minimal tahun 2010. Penelusuran dimulai melalui penelusuran elektronik based antara lain Google search dan Google Search dan Pubmed. Hasil dan Kesimpulan : Didapatkan total responden 1,242 dengan laki-laki yang paling banyak sebesar 626 dan perempuan 591. Jenis plasmodium yang di dapatkan adalah P. Falciparum, p. Vivax dan P. Ovale dengan nilai kadar Hb rata-rata 10,98. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan sumber jurnal/literature sebanyak 10(sepuluh) jurnal dalam kurun waktu 2010-2021. Bahwa didapatkan jumlah responden sebanyak 1,242 dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki paling banyak sebesar 626 dan perempuan 591 ditemukan jenis plasmodium p. vivax 60,03 (261), p. ovale 2,2 (4) dan yang paling sering adalah p. falciparum 35,69 (388) dan nilai Rata-rata kadar HB 10,98.

Abstract

Moringa leaf extract (Moringa Oleifera) contains essential oils, and the main compounds that can be used as antifungals include flavonoids, alkaloids, phenols, proteins, sapanoids, tannins and terpenoids. In this literature review, the fungus used is Candida albicans with the type of extraction solvent, such as ethanol with various concentrations. Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of Moringa leaf extract in ethanol solvents with various concentrations in inhibiting the growth of Candida albicans. Method: Search literature reviews with research topics to answer existing issues or problem. The year of publication was between 2010 and 2021. The search started from January 14, 2021, to March 17, 2021, through an electronic search based on the Garuda Portal, Google Scholar, Google Search, and PubMed. Result and Discussion: 7 journals or articles obtained. Two journals showed an inhibition zone that occurred from Moringa leaf extract on Candida albicans growth with 90% ethanol solvent producing an inhibition zone of 3.0 mm and 95% ethanol solvent producing the highest inhibition zone of 14 mm, wich showed the effectiviness of Moringa leaf extract (Moringa Oleifera) on the growth of Candida albicans. In comparison, the other five journals did not show any inhibition zones formed, which showed no effect of Moringa Oleifera leaves on the growth of Candida albicans. Conclusion: Moringa leaf extract with 90-95% ethanol solvent show inhibition against Candida albicans

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan. Untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis tentang Disiplin kerja Aparatur Kecamatan Torjun Kabupaten Sampang. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Rivai (dalam Rifki & Restu,2017:463) dengan indikator: (1) Kehadiran. (2) Ketaatan pada peraturan. (3) Ketaatan pada standar kerja. (3) Tingkat Kewaspadaan tinggi. (5) Bekerjaetis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi, dan cara menentukan informan menggunakan porposive sampling sebanyak 5 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja Aparatur Kecamatan Torjun Kabupaten Sampang berdasarkan 5 hal yaitu: (1) Kehadiran ASN di Kecamatan Torjun dapat dikatakan cukup baik kerena tidak tepat waktu dan masih ada pegawai yang datang terlambat. (2) Ketaatan pada peraturan, Aparatur Kecamatan Torjun Kabupaten Sampang cukup baik dimana pengawai menyelesaikan tugas. namun ada juga pegawai yang meningggalkan ruangan pada saat jam kerja dan berdampak pada pelayanan yang di berikan kepada . (3) Ketaatan pada standar kerja, Aparatur Kecamatan Torjun Kabupaten Sampang dapat dikatan cukup baik pegawai melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya dengan baik, namun kurang mematuhi prosedur pemerintah seperti menggunaka baju dinas (seragam).(4) Kewaspadaan tinggi, Pegawai disiplin dengan baik terlihat ketelitian pegawai dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan. (5) Bekerja etis, Pegawai kecamatan Torjun Bekerja disiplin dan ramah.

Abstract

Sektor pertanian merupakan mata pencaharian utama masyarakat di Desa Mentoro, namun mayoritas petani masih bergantung pada penggunaan pupuk kimia yang memiliki dampak negatif pada lingkungan jika digunakan dalam jangka panjang. KKN - Tematik Kelompok 2 Universitas PGRI Jombang bekerja sama dengan Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian wilayah Sumobito Jombang melaksanakan pelatihan pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Bio Urine. Bio urine merupakan pupuk cair yang berbahan dasar urine yang mengandung unsur hara yang tinggi yaitu nitrogen, fosfor, dan kalium dan unsur mikro lain yang bermanfaat untuk tanaman. Urine yang digunakan dari urine kelinci sebagai solusi alternatif pupuk yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Selain itu urine kelinci memiliki kandungan unsur hara yang tinggi dan mudah diperoleh. Pelatihan ini bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat dengan menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengolah urine kelinci menjadi Pupuk Organik Cair (POC). Pelatihan ini dilakukan pada perwakilan kelompok tani Desa Mentoro Kabupaten Jombang sebanyak 10 orang. Pelaksanaan pembuatan POC melalui beberapa tahap meliputi observasi, persiapan alat dan bahan (urine kelinci, kulit nanas, batang pohon pisang, empon-empon, tauge, bawang merah, bawang putih, molase, dan mikroba activator), pelatihan (disampaikan dengan tiga metode yaitu ceramah (penyampaian materi), Demonstrasi (praktek), dan diskusi atau tanya jawab), dan tahap terakhir yaitu evaluasi serta panen pupuk. Pembuatan POC dibutuhkan 15 hari masa fermentasi. Pelatihan ini dapat menambah wawasan dan ketrampilan para petani di Desa Mentoro yang sebelumnya belum pernah dilakukan pelatihan membuat pupuk organic air dengan urine kelinci.
