Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yang sering disebut pula dengan standard setting atau cut of score, berbasis peserta peserta didik untuk mata pelajaran matematika SMP di Provinsi DI Yogyakarta antarwaktu. Penelitian ini merupakan studi longitudinal selama 3 tahun yaitu tahun 2010, 2011, dan 2012. Metode pengumpulan data yakni dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data statistik ujian akhir yang akan ditentukan KKM-nya dan Focus Group Discussion(FGD) untuk menentukan kelompok master dan kelompoknonmaster. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan metode grup kontras. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KKM mata pelajaran matematika di Provinsi DI Yogyakarta tahun 2010 sebesar 6,75, tahun 2011 mengalami penurunan sebesar 0,05 menjadi 6,70 dan tahun 2012 naik lagi menjadi 6,90 (untuk skala 0-10).Kata kunci: KKM (standard setting atau cut of score), mata pelajaran matematika SMP______________________________________________________________DETERMINING THE CUT OF SCORE BASED ON THE TEST PARTICIPANTSAbstract This study aims to determine the minimum completeness criteria which is often called the standard setting or the cut of a score, based on test participants for mathematics lesson in Yogyakarta province. This study is a longitudinal study using data for 3 years ie 2010, 2011, and 2012. The data were collected through documentation to get the statiatics data of national final examination that would be determined its minimum completness creteria and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to determine master and non master groups. The data were analyzed quantitatively by the method of contrasting group. The results showed that cut of score in mathematics lesson in Yogyakarta province in 2010 was at 6.75, but decreased by 0.05 to 6.7 in 2011 and rose again in 2012 to 6.9 (for a 0-10 scale).Keywords: standard setting or the cut of the score, junior school mathematics lesson

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keberfungsian butir pembeda (DIF) berdasarkan teori respons butir dengan model dua dimensi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksploratif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data ujian nasional mata pelajaran metematika 2003 yang sudah terbukti memuat 2 dimensi (Badrun Kartowagiran & Heri Retnawati, 2007). Untuk mendeteksi DIF, digunakan indeks volume sederhana yang merupakan pengembangan dari indeks daerah bertanda. Pada penelitian ini peserta tes dikelompokkan berdasarkan jenis kelaminnya, kelompok siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan. Estimasi parameter butir dilakukan dengan bantuan BILOG dan TESTFACT, kemudian estimasi volume bertanda dan menggambar permukaan karakteristik butir dengan program MAPLE. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dari 28 butir yang dianalisis, sebanyak 2 butir berpotensi memuat DIF seragam dan 26 butir berpotensi memuat DIF yang tidak seragam.Kata kunci: teori respons butir unidimensi, teori respons butir multidimensi DIF, UPD, SPD______________________________________________________________INDENTIFYNG DIFFERENTIAL ITEM FUNCTIONING USING SIMPLE VOLUME INDICES BASED ON MULTIDIMENTONAL ITEM RESPONSE THEORYAbstract The aim of the studi is to identify differential item fungtioning (DIF) based on item response theory using bidimensional model. This study uses explorative quantitative approach. Data used in this study is a mathematics test of national exam 2003 data which has been proved to contain 2-dimensions (Badrun Kartowagiran & Heri Retnawati, 2007). The simple volume indices are used to detect DIF which is the development of the simple area indices. The testee are grouped based on their gender, groups of male students and female students. The item parameter estimation was performed with BILOG and TESTFACT, and then to estimatevolume and draw the surface characteristics curve was conduct with MAPLE. The results showed that of the 28 items analyzed, 2 items potentially contained uniform DIF and 26 items potentially contained a non-uniform DIF.Keywords: unidimensional IRT, multidimensional IRT, DIF, UPD, SPD

The objective of the study is to determine the influence of determinant factors on teacher quality in Indonesia in the digital era in kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school units. It was a quantitative research with a correlation meta-analysis approach. The data was secondary data collected from various research results in Indonesia on the scholar.google.com page. The results of the study were published from 2012 to 2022. Data analysis used JASP software to estimate aggregates, draw plot Forrest, and publication bias. The aggregates were estimated through correlation scores with fixed effect models. The results showed that the funnel plot 104 study had a sample size that varied with the asymmetric distribution. Therefore, the results of the study were free from potential publication bias. It was reinforced by the forest plot display using the Trim and Fill method as well as the summary effect display results. Thus, the level of information validity based on the fixed-effect model of factors that affect the quality of teachers in the digital era in Indonesia was valid.

This study aims to analyze the mathematical problem solving ability of VIII grade students of SMPN 4 Pakem in the 2022/2023 school year in solving PISA adaptation problems on space and shape content in terms of learning style. Indicators of mathematical problem solving using Krulik and Rudnick's stages. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach. A total of 157 students filled out the learning style questionnaire and initial math test, then 45 students were selected, namely 15 students each type of learning style who would be given a test of PISA adaptation questions on space and shape content. Then 9 students were selected, namely 3 students each type of learning style to carry out interviews. Data validity used source triangulation. The data analysis used was data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the percentage of students with visual and auditory learning styles was the same at 29%, the percentage of students with kinesthetic learning styles was 19%, while the percentage of students with mixed learning styles was below 10% each. There are differences in the achievement of mathematical problem solving indicators of students with different learning styles even though the initial level of problem solving ability is the same. None of the subjects with visual, auditorial, and kinesthetic learning styles were able to solve the problem with the right answer and mathematical process on level 6 problems.

Digital learning with ChatGPT in elementary school mathematics learning is urgently implemented. Several studies have explored digital learning with ChatGPT in elementary school mathematics learning, but studies using SLR are minimal. This article presents the 2022-2024 SLR study on digital learning with ChatGPT in elementary school mathematics learning. This SLR and PRISMA method is supported by Publish or Perish 8, VOSviewer version 1.6.20, Mendeley version 1.19.8, and ATLAS.ti version 7.5.16. The search results obtained 1,259 Scopus articles, which were filtered to 40 and analyzed using ATLAS.ti, then the results were described according to the research question. Digital learning with ChatGPT is a learning approach using the synchronous-asynchronous mode, virtual classrooms, distance, use of interactive digital tools, digital methods and media, innovation, digital modeling, use of robotics and AI ChatGPT for children with the principle of collaboration digital, and problem-solving with the support of digital resources. ChatGPT features multilingual, natural language, advanced AI, 24/7 availability, answering math questions, recurring training, and helping students with various math tasks. Implementation of digital learning with ChatGPT in elementary school mathematics learning for problem-solving, geometry, function limits in algebra, the material on flat shapes, geometric shapes, integrated PjBL, online, mixed and flipped classes.

Many studies report a significant relationship between self-control and academic achievement, although the strength of this relationship varies across studies. Moderator factors influencing this relationship remain unclear. Therefore, this meta-analysis aims to further explore the relationship between self-control and academic achievement and investigate potential moderating factors that may affect its strength. The study includes 70 samples from 16 primary studies published between 2005 and 2018. Data analysis was conducted using a random effects model with a significance level of Î± = 5%. In addition to the main analysis, six moderator variables were analyzed: education level, geographical region, self-control measurement tool, academic achievement measurement tool, and publication year. The results showed a moderate positive relationship between self-control and academic achievement (r = 0.32, p < 0.001). Moderator analysis indicated that all variables significantly influenced the strength of the relationship between self-control and academic performance. The positive relationship was stronger in studies with mixed participants and weakest among university students and stronger in studies conducted in the United States than in Africa and Europe. This study contributes meaningfully to the literature by clarifying moderator factors and providing insights for educators in designing targeted interventions to enhance academic performance through self-control development across diverse contexts.

This research focuses on evaluating research productivity in the realm of science learning using various bibliometric indicators. A total of 4,942 scientific publications were taken from the Scopus database from the period 2013–2023, applying related keyword searches. The result is presented in graphical form. Studies also use VOSviewer and Biblioshiny tools through R to evaluate network visualizations and find the most prolific authors, number of publications and citations, country representatives, organizational and university contributions, publishers, and frequently appearing words. The results reveal a growing trend in total publications in the past 10 years of research. Out of a total of 4,942 scientific publications, NA NA is one of the most prolific authors. The USA and China are the most productive countries when it comes to publishing research in the field. The University of California, National Taiwan Normal University, and Purdue University are reported to be the top three productive organizations in the field of science learning. The study also looked at collaboration and cooperation between authors, countries, and organizations in visualization analysis. The results of the word that often appears are reported to be that science, education, learning, and effects have maximum link strength.

Education stands as a pivotal driver of national progress, profoundly shaping societal advancement. Within basic education, like elementary schools (SD), the identification and support of exceptional students are paramount. SD Inpres Lanraki II, an educational institution dedicated to nurturing high achievers, underscores this commitment. This study employs the Weight Product method to pinpoint outstanding students. Findings reveal the method's efficacy in streamlining the selection process at SD Inpres Lanraki II, culminating in a top-ranking score of 0.1804, highlighting the selection of exceptional students. The impact is significant, enhancing the institution's ability to cultivate a cohort of high-performing individuals, thus positively influencing its educational landscape. This research not only identifies excellence but also bolsters the school's capacity to foster a generation of academic achievers, reinforcing its educational mission and societal contribution.

The assessment is carried out in order to open up learning. The instruments used must of course carry out a good development stage process. The purpose of this study is to ensure reliable and fair test items in each educational unit. This research uses a quantitative approach which focuses on the equating method School Examination test equipment especially for English language subjects at the high school level in Muna district which has 2 schools. Data collection was carried out through documentation of student responses on the School Examination for English subjects. Student responses came from 2 question packages from 2 middle schools in Muna District. In addition, there were a total of 96 students involved in the school exam with each SMA 1 having 56 students and SMA 2 having 40 students. There were only 2 high schools of the same level in the Tongkuno area, especially Muna Regency, and took the question packages from the same source. Data were analyzed using an equating technique based on Item Response Theory with the mean-mean method. Item parameter estimation and equalization were used with the help of R Studio and Microsoft Excel programs. Therefore, R Studio is used to estimate the validity and reliability of the two question packages while Microsoft Excel is used to equalize the 2 different scores. The equating results in an equalization constant that ensures the two test packages now have scores that can be compared more fairly and accurately. Thus, these findings show the importance of the equating process in improving the integrity of educational evaluation in Indonesia especially to ensuring equivalence in two different packages is crucial to produce equal and fair score results.

This study employs a meta-analytic approach to assess the impact of numeracy on early childhood development. Analyzing 41 experimental studies, the research aggregates data to provide a precise estimate of numeracy's effect size, enhancing the generalizability of findings. A random-effects model was utilized due to the high heterogeneity among studies (I² = 91.32%), indicating significant variability across different geographical regions, sample sizes, and intervention durations. The results demonstrate a statistically significant positive effect of numeracy on early childhood abilities, with a coefficient estimate of 0.56834 (p < 0.001). Despite the strong evidence supporting early numeracy interventions, the study highlights the need for context-specific approaches to maximize effectiveness. The analysis also reveals the presence of publication bias, as indicated by funnel plot symmetry and a fail-safe N of 7,159, suggesting robust findings. Future research should address the observed variability and further explore the contextual factors influencing the success of early numeracy programs.
