Abstract

Climate change has become one of the most urgent global issues that needs to be addressed immediately. The United Nations (UN) invites all countries to become catalysts in accelerating public education, especially the younger generation, so they have the knowledge and awareness to protect the environment. Nowadays, we live in a world where knowledge and information are very easy to obtain thanks to the help of the internet. TikTok is an example of an information dissemination platform that has proven effective in educating the public, especially Generation Z, whose life is closely linked to technology. This research aims to analyse the need to develop learning media in the form of TikTok for climate change material at the junior high school level. Using quantitative descriptive methods, researchers will collect data using interview techniques and distributing questionnaires. The data obtained is then presented in descriptive form. Overall, the research results show that students do not understand climate change in depth and want to learn more about it through TikTok videos.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang analisis kebutuhan peserta didik terhadap pengembangan konten E-LKPD melalui platform liveworksheet berbasis artificial intelligence di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. Analisis kebutuhan peserta didik merupakan langkah awal yang penting dalam proses pengembangan bahan ajar. Pendidik di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya ini telah memulai integrasi TIK dalam proses belajar mengajar. Namun, belum semua media pembelajaran digital yang digunakan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan belajar peserta didik secara maksimal. Terlebih lagi, masih sedikit pendidik yang memanfaatkan AI dalam pengembangan konten pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan kajian terhadap kebutuhan peserta didik untuk pengembangan E-LKPD yang lebih tepat sasaran. Melalui analisis kebutuhan, peneliti dapat memahami kebutuhan peserta didik dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan mixed methods, yaitu menggabungkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui teknik wawancara, kuesioner, dan juga observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 97,2% dari 36 siswa menyatakan memerlukan konten E-LKPD menggunakan liveworksheet berbasis artificial intelligence untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar mereka.

Abstract

The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas Sriwijaya has played a critical role in shaping Indonesia’s education system by producing qualified educators. Despite its long-standing contributions, comprehensive documentation of its historical development remains scarce. This study aimed to develop an interactive digital history book for FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya. The research utilized a dual-method approach: historical research was used to gather and verify archival data, while the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) guided the development process. The book incorporated multimedia features such as archival photographs, background music, and a user-friendly interface to enhance engagement and learning. The interactive history book significantly improved students’ understanding of FKIP’s history. This was evidenced by a rise in average test scores from 37.5 (pretest) to 89.5 (posttest), with a statistically significant difference (p = 0.000) shown through paired sample t-tests. Additionally, 85% of surveyed students reported feeling more connected to FKIP’s legacy and expressed increased institutional pride. The integration of interactive elements was instrumental in increasing students’ comprehension and emotional connection to FKIP’s history. The digital format not only enhanced learning outcomes but also contributed positively to institutional identity. The interactive history book effectively documented FKIP’s legacy and fostered student engagement. Future research could explore its long-term impact on institutional reputation, including alumni involvement, student enrollment, and public perception at broader levels.

Abstract

The integration of local wisdom in digital learning is essential to preserve cultural identity among younger generations. However, history education in Indonesian high schools often lacks engaging and contextual media, resulting in low student interest and weak cultural attachment. This study investigates the educational needs of high school students for virtual cultural exhibitions incorporating South Sumatra’s local wisdom through the Artsteps platform. This preliminary study employed a mixed-method exploratory design involving 128 students from SMA LTI IGM Palembang. Data were collected through validated questionnaires comprising Likert-scale and open-ended items. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative responses underwent thematic analysis. Findings reveal that 87% of students expressed strong needs for technology-based, flexible, and interactive learning media. YouTube (79.7%) and historical simulations (66.4%) were the most frequently used, but virtual tours were rarely accessed. Students showed high interest in features such as interactive quizzes (68%), traditional music backgrounds (68.8%), and 3D visualizations (62.5%). Local cultural elements most favored included historical figures (68.8%) and culinary traditions (68%). The results underscore the urgent need for immersive and culturally relevant learning innovations. Artsteps-based virtual exhibitions align well with students’ digital preferences and can foster deeper engagement with local history. The findings provide a strong foundation for developing virtual learning media that support cultural education and enhance historical understanding.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (PSPSP) is a core component of Indonesia's Independent Curriculum, aimed at cultivating student character and competencies grounded in Pancasila values. Despite two years of curriculum implementation, many schools have yet to fully adopt PSPSP. This study evaluated the implementation of PSPSP in one of the top-performing junior high schools in Palembang City, which adopted the program from the outset. The CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model by Stufflebeam was employed. Data were collected through diagnostic analysis, interviews with school leaders and teachers, questionnaires completed by 243 students, and classroom observations. The findings indicate that PSPSP has positively contributed to students' academic growth, character development, social skills, and reflective thinking. Success was largely supported by strong stakeholder readiness and collaboration among teachers, leaders, and students. Active student engagement during PSPSP activities led to more meaningful learning experiences. To enhance program outcomes, the study recommends ongoing professional development for teachers and coordinators, as well as regular program evaluations. Sustained collaboration with parents and the broader community is crucial for long-term success. Broader national implementation strategies should consider local contexts and leverage digital tools to maximize impact. Finally, policy reinforcement is needed to institutionalize PSPSP across schools, promote school-based management, and uphold Pancasila values as the foundation of Indonesia’s educational and national development goals.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education offers new opportunities for enhancing learning engagement and effectiveness. This study aims to develop an AI-based Learning Management System (LMS) content to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in high schools. The research follows the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to create learning videos, infographics, podcasts, and digital books using AI applications such as Leonardo.ai, CapCut, Zepeto, and Canva. Expert validation and implementation trials were conducted to assess the effectiveness and usability of the developed LMS content. Validation results confirm that the AI-based LMS content enhances interactivity and engagement in learning. Implementation trials, conducted through pre-test and post-test sessions with two grade ten classes at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya, show a 4.82% improvement in students’ learning outcomes. Observations indicate that students adapt well to AI-based learning content and that the LMS platform supports both individual and small group learning effectively. The incorporation of AI in learning media development increases student motivation and the overall effectiveness of the learning process. The AI-based LMS content provides a modern and relevant educational experience, aligning with the demands of digital-era learning. This study confirms that AI-based LMS content effectively supports the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in high schools, leading to improved student learning outcomes. The integration of AI in education presents innovative solutions to conventional learning challenges, enhancing the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

Femisida terhadap aktivis perempuan di Indonesia menunjukkan peningkatan terhadap kasus kekerasan berbasis gender terutama bagi perempuan yang tidak hanya mengancamkan keselamatan aktivis perempuan itu sendiri, tetapi juga mendorong upaya emansipasi dan perlindungan hak asasi perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola femisida yang menimpa aktivis perempuan sebagai konsekuensi dari faktor kuasa patriarki, budaya misoginis, serta lemahnya sistem perlindungan negara. Metode pelaksanaan pada Artikel ini disusun dengan metode deskriptif serta pendekatan kajian pustaka. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui kajian pustaka, analisis kasus, serta pendekatan feminisme kritis yang mengungkapkan bagaimana ancaman, intimidasi, hingga pembunuhan terhadap aktivis perempuan. Pada penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa perlunya pembenahan regulasi pola pikir, penguatan mekanisme perlindungan, serta perubahan budaya yang mendukung kesetaraan gender untuk mencegah fenomena femisida dan menjamin ruang aman bagi aktivis perempuan. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya diskursus akademik sekaligus mendorong langkah-langkah strategis dalam upaya penghapusan kekerasan gender di Indonesia dan emansipasi pada hak asasi perempuan

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan persepsi mahasiswa Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Sriwijaya tentang pentingnya kewirausahaan dalam menghadapi era globalisasi dan revolusi industri 5.0. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian melibatkan sepuluh mahasiswa semester VII dengan latar pengalaman berjualan yang berbeda. Hasilnya, mahasiswa yang pernah berjualan memiliki persepsi lebih positif dan merasa lebih siap berwirausaha, sedangkan yang belum berpengalaman cenderung ragu karena takut gagal dan kurang percaya diri. Secara keseluruhan, mahasiswa menilai kewirausahaan sebagai kompetensi penting untuk meningkatkan daya saing lulusan.

Abstract

Early childhood literacy skills form a crucial foundation for developing of critical thinking and academic readiness. In Indonesia, low reading interest and a lack of culturally contextualized learning media pose significant challenges. This study addresses this gap by aiming to developing and evaluating the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of an interactive e-comic based on the traditional Palembang game, Tungkupan as an innovative tool for early childhood literacy instruction. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach following the ADDIE model, the research involved three expert validators and 27 children from group B at Pembina 7 State Kindergarten in Palembang. Experts rated the product as highly validaverage 80.00% – 83.56%, whileeachers rated it very practicalaverage 91.60%. The effectiveness test, measured by N-Gain, showed a significant increase in scores (from 37.4 to 84.44), with an average N-Gain score of 0.73 (high category), confirming its effectiveness (73.75%) in improving children's literacy skills. These results demonstrate that the interactive Tungkupan based e-comic is a highly valid, practical, and effective medium for both improving early literacy and preserving local cultural heritage.

Abstract

Fenomena meningkatnya angka golput pada Pemilu dan Pilkada 2024 menjadi salah satu isu krusial dalam dinamika demokrasi Indonesia. Sejumlah laporan resmi dan hasil survei, termasuk temuan LSI Denny JA yang mencatat rata-rata golput mencapai 37,63 persen di tujuh provinsi besar, menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan dalam partisipasi politik masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor utama yang menyebabkan peningkatan golput pada tahun 2024 dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari lembaga survei, artikel ilmiah, dan laporan media kredibel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa golput dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor kunci, antara lain kelelahan politik setelah rangkaian pemilu nasional, rendahnya daya tarik kandidat yang dianggap tidak representatif, skeptisisme terhadap efektivitas pemilu dan institusi politik, serta minimnya literasi politik di berbagai lapisan masyarakat. Fenomena ini memiliki implikasi serius terhadap legitimasi pemimpin terpilih dan kualitas demokrasi secara keseluruhan. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan edukasi politik, reformasi penyelenggaraan pemilu, serta penguatan kepercayaan publik terhadap institusi politik guna menekan angka golput pada kontestasi politik di masa mendatang.
