Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of research were to find out: (1) which learning model provided better student learning achievement, Problem based Learning (PBL) or Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type of Cooperative Learning or direct learning model, (2) which students had better mathematics learning achievement, those with auditory, or visual, or kinesthetic learning style,  (3) in each learning model, which one had mathematics learning achievement better, whether the students with auditory, those with visual or those with kinesthetic learning style, (4)  in each learning style, which one provided better mathematics learning achievement, Problem based Learning (PBL) or Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type of Cooperative Learning or direct learning model. This study was a quasi experimental research with a 3 x 3 factorial design. The population of research was all of the VII graders of Junior High Schools in Pacitan Regency. The sample was taken using stratified cluster random sampling. The sample of research consisted of 242 students: 82 students for the experiment 1, 80 students for experiment 2 and 80 students for control classes. Considering the result of hypothesis testing, the following conclusions could be drawn. (1) The Problem Based Learning, the NHT type of cooperative learning, and direct learning models provided equal mathematics learning achievement. (2) The students with visual learning style had the mathematics learning achievement equal to those with kinesthetic one. Those with visual learning style had the mathematics learning achievement better than those with auditory one. Those with kinesthetic learning style had the mathematics learning achievement better than those with auditory one. (3) In PBL learning model, the students with visual learning style had the mathematics learning achievement better than those with auditory one, but those with visual learning style had the mathematics learning achievement equal to those with kinesthetic one, and those with auditory learning style had the mathematics learning achievement equal to those with kinesthetic one. In NHT type of cooperative learning model, the students with visual learning style had the mathematics learning achievement equal to those with auditory one and those with visual learning style had the mathematics learning achievement equal to those with kinesthetic one, but those with auditory learning style had the mathematics learning achievement better than those with kinesthetic one. In direct learning model, the results of the three learning style provided equal learning achievement. (4) In the students with visual learning style, PBL model provided learning achievement equal to the NHT type of cooperative learning one, PBL did better than the direct one, and the NHT type did better than the direct one. In auditory learning style, PBL model provided the learning achievement equal to the NHT type, while PBL did better than the direct one, and the NHT type did better than the direct one. In those with kinesthetic learning style, PBL model provided learning achievement equal to the NHT type of cooperative learning one, PBL did better than the direct one, and the NHT type did better than the direct one. In auditory learning style, PBL model provided the learning achievement equal to the NHT type, PBL provided learning achievement equal to the direct one, and the NHT type did better than the direct one. Keywords: Problem Based Learning (PBL), Numbered Heads Together (NHT), student learning style.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Para siswa tunanetra SLBN Kota Semarang masih kesulitan dalam membaca ruang. Berdasarkan diskusi terfokus bersama tim pengembangan,  kepala sekolah dan guru kelas tunanetra, diketahui bahwa SLBN Kota Semarang mempunyai permasalahan dalam pengadaan media pembelajaran membaca ruang. Media pembelajaran membaca ruang yang ada masih belum fungsional bagi para siswa tunanetra. Selain itu, pada program orientasi dan mobilitas, pembelajaran masih dilakukan dengan lisan tanpa alat  peraga. Tujuan dari pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca ruang siswa tunanetra SLBN Kota Semarang melalui Model Peta Tunanetra (DELTA-NET). Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah PALS (Participatory Action and Learning System) yang menempatkan para siswa dan guru kelas tunanetra SLBN Kota Semarang sebagai subjek dan objek secara langsung dalam proses penyadaran, pengkapasitasan, pendampingan sampai pelembagaan. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah (1) Terciptanya media baru berupa DELTA-NET yang lebih fungsional bagi para siswa tunanetra (2) Siswa tunanetra telah mampu dan terampil membaca ruang SLBN Kota Semarang dan sekitarnya (3) Tercipta modul sebagai pedoman pembuatan DELTA-NET (4) Guru terampil mengembangkan produk baru DELTA-NET (5) Terciptanya tim pengembang DELTA-NET dan perjanjian kerjasama antara UNNES dengan SLBN Kota Semarang.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Blind students of SLB Negeri Kota Semarang have difficulties in read space. Based on focus group discussions between community service team, headmaster, and blind classes teachers, known that SLBN Kota Semarang have problems in the procurement of read space  learning media. The available read space learning media is still not functional for blind students. In addition, for orientation and mobility programs, learning process still taught verbally without any visual aids. The purpose of this community service is to improve the space read ability for blind students of SLBN Kota Semarang through Blind Map Model (DELTA-NET). The methode that use in community service is PALS (Participatory Action and Learning System) which puts the students and teachers of blind classe as subject and object directly in awareness, capacity building, scaffolding, and institutionalization. The results are (1) Created DELTA-NET that more fungsional for blind students (2) Blind students able and skilled to read space of SLBN Kota Semarang and surrounding (3) Created module as the guideline for making DELTA-NET (4) Teachers have been skilled at developing new products DELTA-NET (5) Established DELTA-NET development team and Memorandum of Agreement between UNNES with SLBN Kota Semarang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, menganalisis, dan mendeskripsikan kesesuaian implementasi kurikulum pendidikan inklusi di MI Ma’arif Keji Ungaran Barat dilihat dari aspek konteks, aspek masukan, aspek, proses, dan aspek produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP yang terdiri dari aspek context, input, process, dan product. Subyek penelitian ini adalah kurikulum pendidikan inklusi MI Ma’arif Keji. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner/angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan kesesuaian implementasi kurikulum pendidikan inklusi termasuk dalam kategori sangat sesuai dengan nilai pencapaian sebesar 41.8 (77.4%). Hasil per aspek sebagai berikut: (1) aspek konteks sangat sesuai dengan nilai pencapaian sebesar 48.0 (88.9%); (2) aspek masukan sangat sesuai dengan nilai pencapaian sebesar 42.2 (78.1%); aspek proses sangat sesuai dengan nilai pencapaian sebesar 43.1 (79.8%); dan (4) aspek produk sesuai dengan nilai pencapaian sebesar 33.8 (62.6%). The purpose of this study was to identify, analyze and describe the suitability curriculum implementation of education of inclusion in MI MaArif Keji Ungaran Barat seen from the aspect of context, input, process, and of the product. This study used the CIPP evaluation model consisting of aspects of context, input, process, and product. The subject of this study is the educational curriculum of inclusion MI Maarif Keji. The Methods of collecting data using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the overall suitability of inclusion education curriculum implementation included in the category of highly value the achievement of 41.8 (77.4%). Results by the aspects as follows: (1) aspect of context is in accordance with the value achievement of 48.0 (88.9%); (2) aspects of the input is in accordance with the value achievement of 42.2 (78.1%); aspect of the process is in accordance with the value achievement of 43.1 (79.8%); and (4) aspects of the product in accordance with the value achievement of 33.8 (62.6%).

Abstract

Geometry has an important role in mathematics study. Make A Match high order thinking skills questions aims to improve the students curiosity and students HOTS for understanding the material. This research aims to find out the effect of learning model and emotional intelligence toward students mathematics achievement.This research is quasi-experimental research with a 2x3factorial design. Population on this research was State Senior High School students on 11th grade in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The data collection were collected by using questionnaire and test. Furthermore, data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA. According to the research findings, shows that: students taught by MAM HOTS questions have better mathematics learning achievement than those taught by using direct learning model. Students having high emotional intelligence category have better mathematics learning achievement than those having medium and low emotional intelligence category, and they who have medium emotional intelligence category have mathematics learning achievement as good as those with low emotional intelligence category.Therefore, MAM HOTS questions can improve students learning achievement.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum emphasizes the application of Higher Order Thinking (HOTS) questions in learning, and it is also necessary for teachers to use student learning models. Teachers as supporters of both aspects mentioned need to be given attention because of difficulties applying the model of learning and hots in learning mathematics. This is due to the unfamiliarity of students with HOTS type questions in the learning model. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of the HOTS-based learning model in facilitating the problem-solving ability of the students. The research subject is the seventh-grade student of SMP in Sleman, Yogyakarta. The result of this research is there is a change when using HOTS-based circuit learning in mathematics learning. The results of this study indicate that students pretest and posttest results are increasing, meaning that students completion abilities increase after using HOTS-based circuit learning model.

Abstract

The existence of formal schools under Pesantren (traditional Islamic education) foundation is interesting, because they have unique characters comparing to other schools in general, whereas each Pesantren has its own peculiarity. One of them is Senior High School of Selamat Modern Pesantren, Kendal. This article describes the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in that school based on qualitative research in 2017. The research result indicated that the implementation of Curriculum 2013 established an integrated curriculum from national Curriculum 2013, learning materials from Ministry of Religious affair and unique vision of the modern Selamat Pesantren itself. So there was a combination between the Curriculum 2013, the materials form Ministry of Religious affair which is more Islamic in nature and the programs from boarding system that enrich the student character building and knowledge. Moreover, in this research teachers are central regarding to their position as student’s facilitator and companion, particularly those who actively accompany the dormitory activities. Abstrak Keberadaan sekolah-sekolah formal di bawah naungan yayasan pesantren menarik untuk dikaji, karena pasti memiliki kekhasan tersendiri dibanding sekolahsekolah lain pada umumnya. Terlebih tiap pesantren memiliki kekhasan masingmasing. Salah satu modelnya adalah di Sekolah Menengah Atas Pondok Modern Selamat, Kendal. Artikel ini menggambarkan implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di sekolah tersebut didasarkan pada penelitian berpendekatan kualitatif yang telah dilaksanakan pada 2017. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di SMA Unggulan Pondok Modern Selamat, Kendal, menunjukkan karakteristik unik berupa kurikulum yang terpadu antara kurikulum nasional, muatan materi dari Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), dan visi khas dari yayasan pondok pesantren Selamat. Dengan demikian terdapat kombinasi antara orientasi Kurikulum 2013 yang bersifat umum, materi dari Kemenag yang berorientasi memberi bekal ilmu-ilmu keislaman, dan ditunjang oleh program di asrama yang memperkaya pembentukan karakter siswa dan pengayaan penguasaan pengetahuan siswa. Lebih lanjut, guru perannya sangat sentral dalam implementasi kurikulum yang terpadu di sekolah ini karena diposisikan sebagai pendamping siswa, terutama guru-guru yang juga aktif mendampingi kegiatan asrama. Abstract

Truant behaviour was behavior that should be handled because it can affect the academic, behavior that deviates from the rules of the school and student morale. This fact occurs at SMA Karya Sembawa, SMA PGRI Pulau Harapan and SMA Bina Mandiri. This research aimed to determine the factors underlying the truant students as well as to determine the pattern of truant behavior based on factors encountered. As understood the impact of truant behavior was experienced failure in learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this research were students of class X (ABC 1 and ABC 2) and XI IPS (ABC 3) at SMA Karya Sembawa, the students of class XI IPS (ABC 4) and XI IPA (ABC 5 and ABC 6) at SMA PGRI Pulau Harapan, and the students of class X (ABC7) and XI IPS (ABC 8 and ABC 9) SMA Bina Mandiri. Data collection techniques in this research in the form of interviews to obtain information about the factors that encourage students to play truant, observations to obtain other information which supports the data that have been obtained and documentation to obtain the data subject's identity and test results MPCL. Sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. While the data analysis technique used was triangulation technique shows that the factors causing the truant behavior problems stemming from the self, family factors, and school factors with truant behavior pattern that was playing playstation or internet, hanging out, hanging out with friends who like play truant the class. Results of this research declare truant behavior can affect academic school, because it can not complete the lesson topic on the same day.

Abstract

Salah satu program pemberdayaan yangdilaksanakan oleh pemerintah adalah dalam bentuk Posyantek Pos Pelayanan Teknologi TepatGuna (POSYANTEK). Dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang berkaitan dengan PosPelayanan Teknologi sebagai sumber utama dan dokumen lain yang relevan sebagai sumbertambahan, dimana Kebijakan publik dipandang sebagai tindakan pemerintah; pengalokasiannilai-nilai masyarakat yang dilakukan pemerintah ; rancangan program-program yangdikembangkan pemerintah untuk mencapai tujuan. Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan,Perlindungan Anak dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat bekerjasama dengan pihak PemerintahDaerah Kabupaten/Kota sebagai fasilitator mengadakan semacam rangkaian perlombaan TTG.Dengan memberikan pelatihan, dan melakukan pembinaan serta pendampingan, pembinaanmerupakan kegiatan keberlanjutan dari kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh Posyantek.Kegiatan tersebut melibatkan sekelompok masyarakat yang sama-sama memiliki keinginanuntuk mendapatkan pelatihan. Posyantek membutuhkan orang yang berpengaruh disetiap daerahyang akan didatangi. Sasaran awal program kegiatan adalah masyarakat yang mempunyai usahakecil, hal ini dilakukan agar masyarakat yang mempunyai usaha tersebut dapat bekerja lebihefektif dan efisien dengan memanfaatkan TTG, sehingga hasil produksi usaha akan semakinmengalami peningkatan. Posyantek menggunakan beberapa media agar dapat melakukankomunikasi dengan skala yang lebih luas yaitu, melalui jejaring sosial seperti facebook. Cara inicukup efektif karena perkembangan saat ini menjadikan masyarakat lebih mengenal teknologikomunikasi yang ada.Kata Kunci : Posyantek, Program Pemerintah, Usaha Kecil

Abstract

Science literacy is one of the problems of education in Indonesia that needs attention to be resolved immediately. The ability of science literacy in Indonesia is still low, which is evidenced by the International agency Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) through the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) to Children aged 15 years. This study aimed to (1) determine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) aided by Performance Assessment of students 'scientific literacy abilities and , (2) to describe the students' scientific literacy abilities reviewed by Adversity Quotient (AQ). This research used a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this study ware students IV A (experimental group) and class IV B (control group) in SDN 1 Purwawinangun Cirebon. In this study data were taken using test instruments and questionners. Data analysis used were the normality test, the homogeneity test, and the average similarity test. Obtained data indicate that the class taken as samples in this study were normally distributed and have homogeneous variances. It means that the sample comes from the same condition that was having the same knowledge. N-gain test showed that the experimental group was 0.31 score as the medium category and the control group was 0.29 score as the low category. The finding showed that PBL model aided by performance assessment was effective for increasing students' scientific literacy ability were which indicated by student’s with PBL learning aided by performance assessment was by achieving complete scientific literacy on PBL aided by performance assessment better than students on PBL. The pattern of science literacy ability reviewed by AQ; a) climber students type were able to master both of the aspects applying and designing problem strategies. b) camper type students were mastered both of the aspect reasoning and able analyzed that given problems. c) quitter type students have ably mastered only the knowing aspect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out from each model of learning mathematics, which provides better mathematics learning achievement, students who have the type of logical intelligence mathematics, visual, kinesthetic or interpersonal. This research method of this study is quasi experimental research or pre-experimental research with research design using 3 x 4 factorial designs. The population in this study is the entire students VIII grade SMP N in districk of Demak. Sampling was done by stratified cluster random sampling technique. Instruments used to collect data are a questionnaire of multiple intelligences and mathematics learning achievement test. The prerequisite test includes the population normality test using the Lilliefors method and the homogeneity test of population variance using the Bartlett method.With α = 0, 05. Hypothesis testing of the study are analysis of variance with unequal cell. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, obtained the conclusion that. There is interaction of learning model on mathematics learning achievement in each category of students’ multiple intelligence.
