A considerable body of literature exists pertaining to realistic mathematics education (RME) and its correlation with mathematical literacy, with numerous studies demonstrating incongruent results. The principal objective of this meta-analysis is to systematically investigate the overarching influence of RME on mathematical literacy within the context of Indonesia. The collection of documents comprises a total of seventeen publications that were released between the years 2014 and 2023. The estimation methodologies utilized in this study were grounded on a random-effects model, and statistical computations were conducted utilizing the comprehensive meta-analysis (CMA) software in academic writing. The equation proffered by Hedges was employed for the quantification of effect magnitude. The outcomes of the investigation reveal that the implementation of RME learning yielded a noteworthy and advantageous impact (effect size = 1.031; p 0.05) on the adeptness of students in the domain of mathematical literacy. Moreover, many moderating factors, including class capacity, educational level, geographical location, content of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), and the combination of learning, did not significantly impact students' diverse mathematical literacy proficiency. This study proposes that mathematics educators should consider utilizing the RME as a means of improving students' proficiency in mathematical literacy.

Reversible thinking is the process of thinking by reversing the order of actions. Reversible thinking is an important aspect in helping to improve students' problem-solving ability. This research aims to analyze qualitative studies related to students' reversible thinking ability at elementary, middle, and high school levels in the period 2002 - 2022. The research method uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) that collects primary data that has been published in Sinta and Scopus indexed journals. Data extraction was adjusted to the selection criteria so that 19 articles were collected. Data analysis used a qualitative approach. Data grouping was done based on publication year, education level, demographics, journal indexer, material analyzed, and research results. The results shows that research related to reversible thinking ability became a trend in research in 2015-2022 with the topic of algebra. The studies related to this reversible thinking process are mostly conducted in the Java region at the elementary school level. However, this reversible thinking ability at all levels of education is still low. Based on the three aspects of reversible thinking, working backwards is the most difficult aspect for students to do. One of the reasons is because students do not understand the concept thoroughly. This is a concern for researchers and educators to conduct research related to students' reversible thinking ability, especially outside the region with topics that are still rarely studied.

Changes in the education implementation system during the Covid-19 pandemic force students to adapt quickly. This adaptation occurs because online learning limits teachers ' ability to monitor the overall learning carried out by students. Therefore, in the implementation, students must have Self-Regulated Learning to manage their learning activities independently and analyze their learning needs. In addition, Self-Regulated Learning is also able to provide support for improving various abilities, for example, mathematical communication. This study aimed to determine whether Self-Regulated Learning affects students’ mathematical communication skills. The research method used is correlational with a sample of 31 students in grade IX of a junior high school in Serang City. The results of this study indicate that Self-Regulated Learning affects students' mathematical communication skills, with a coefficient of determination equal to 21%. This research can inform educators that Self-Regulated Learning influences students' mathematical communication abilities, so educators must design learning to help improve students' Self-Regulated Learning.
