Abstract

Formal Pasraman is a form of Hindu Religious education, which consists of Primary WidyaPasraman, Adi Widya Pasraman, Madyama Widya Pasraman, Main Widya Pasraman and MahaWidya Pasraman. The Pasraman curriculum is regulated in articles 8 and 9, which state explicitlythat the curriculum consists of the Hindu religious curriculum and the general educationcurriculum. The formal pasraman curriculum must be able to meet the competencies of 21stcentury graduates. The relevance of the formal pasraman structure as well as the rationalization ofthe curriculum structure that has been stipulated in PMA No. 10 of 2020 is very important to study.For this reason, this research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method, in acritical study with a literature study approach. The results of the research were found as follows; 1.The relevance of the pasraman curriculum structure; analyzed from the nine national educationstandards of education, taking into account aspects of flexibility, the basic logic of the curriculum,dimensions and supporting aspects, it is concluded that the formal pasraman, especially in terms ofcurriculum structure, is not yet relevant to the needs of the 21st century. others, as well as theorientation of the analysis of the planning context, process and results of formal pasraman content,to create Hindu-based superior quality schools.

Abstract

ASEAN was founded based on the Bangkok Declaration on August 8, 1967, with 11 members in the Southeast Asian region. They remain committed to the principle of non-intervention as stipulated in the 1976 Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) and the ASEAN Charter. ASEAN has developed into a major international organization and is beginning to be recognized internationally. The principle of non-intervention remains a persistent issue within ASEAN, and ASEAN leaders should consider the flexibility of this principle. This aims to assist member states facing issues, particularly humanitarian ones. This principle of non-intervention has brought ASEAN to its current level, and it is hoped that in the future, ASEAN will be able to contribute more to its fellow ASEAN members and to other organizations worldwide, thereby aligning ASEAN with its vision, mission, and objectives.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model Based on Local Wisdom of Balinese Traditional Traditions on the Ability to Think Creatively and Character of Mutual Cooperation in Pancasila Education Subjects in Grade V Elementary School Students. Quantitative research methods, types of pseudo-experimental research approaches, and Non-Equivalent Control Group Design experimental research designs. The research population consisted of 195 elementary school students. The research sample was taken with simple random sampling of the class intake obtained, namely SD Negeri 7 Sumerta as an experimental group, and SD Negeri 4 Sumerta as a control group, thus the total sample number in this study was 32 students from SD Negeri 7 Sumerta (experiment), and 32 students from SD Negeri 4 Sumerta (control), so that the total sample amounted to 64 students in class V. The data collection instruments were a questionnaire on the character of mutual cooperation and a test of creative thinking ability. The prerequisite test for data analysis consisted of a normality test, a variance homogeneity test, a covariance matrix homogeneity, a correlation test between variables, a linearlity test, and an outlier test. Hypothesis testing was carried out with MANOVA. The results showed that the F value was 17.543 with a significance level of 0.000 in Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root. The Sig. value < 0.05 which means that there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group simultaneously in the two dependent variables. The conclusion is that the PJBL model based on local wisdom of Balinese traditional traditions has a significant effect on students' creative thinking skills and mutual cooperation character. The suggestion for the next research is to be able to carry out experimental research by integrating local wisdom with learning models that are relevant to the demands of the times in other learning.

Abstract

The phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) is becoming increasingly prevalent among adolescents, particularly vocational high school (SMK) students in Buleleng Regency. Driven by the rapid expansion of social media and peer pressure, this condition is characterized by excessive anxiety and a compulsive need to remain digitally connected. FoMO significantly impacts mental health, triggering academic stress, sleep disturbances, and diminished self-esteem. This study aims to describe students' subjective experiences of FoMO, analyze its psychological consequences, and explore the effectiveness of mindfulness-based counseling as a recovery strategy. Methods: This qualitative phenomenological study involved SMK students in Buleleng exhibiting FoMO symptoms. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, thematic categorization, and phenomenological interpretation to capture the deepest essence of the participants lived experiences. Findings: The results reveal that students perceive FoMO as a "digital prison" that creates social anxiety and constant pressure to conform to trends. However, during the recovery phase through mindfulness-based counseling, a profound subjective transformation was discovered: students shifted from a feeling of being "alienated within digital crowds" toward self-reclamation. Informants described the recovery experience as a "breath of fresh air," where they were able to release their impulsive attachment to devices. The essence of this recovery is marked by the emergence of presence, where students feel more "whole" and sovereign over their own emotions, no longer tethered to external validation or digital notifications. This study affirms that FoMO is a genuine threat to adolescent mental health. Mindfulness-based counseling proves effective as both a preventive and curative strategy, providing space for students to regain internal control. These findings contribute to strengthening school counseling services (BK) in navigating digital era challenges within the Indonesian context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and its implications for the internalization of anti-corruption values among students in public junior high schools (SMPN) in Singaraja City. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with teachers involved in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 2 and SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. The findings indicate that implementing the Merdeka Curriculum has positive implications for the internalization of anti-corruption values, particularly through project-based learning and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (Proek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila/P5), which facilitates the contextual cultivation of values such as honesty, responsibility, and integrity. The curriculum's flexibility allows teachers to design character education that is relevant to students’ learning experiences. However, these implications have not yet been fully optimized due to several constraints, including limited operational guidelines for anti-corruption education, insufficient teacher training, and uneven understanding among students and educators regarding the substance of anti-corruption values. In addition, institutional support from schools and family involvement in reinforcing value-based practices remain suboptimal. This study recommends strengthening collaborative strategies among schools, local governments, and the community to ensure the sustainable internalization of anti-corruption values within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. This research contributes to the development of contextual character education practices and provides insights for the formulation of anti-corruption education policies at the school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang bermuatan nilai budaya Ngaha Aina Ngoho dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) pada siswa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bima, serta menganalisis kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kesadaran pelestarian alam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan fenomenologi-etnografi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta tahapan fenomenologis menurut Moustakas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL bermuatan Ngaha Aina Ngoho mampu menumbuhkan sikap kerja keras, tanggung jawab, gotong royong, dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang dampak kerusakan lingkungan dan solusi pelestarian alam. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal masyarakat Bima memperkuat internalisasi karakter ekologis dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Dengan demikian, integrasi PBL dan nilai Ngaha Aina Ngoho terbukti efektif sebagai pendekatan pendidikan lingkungan berbasis budaya lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of instilling religious character values through Pancasila Education in twelfth-grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Singaraja, to identify the inhibiting factors, and to determine the efforts made to overcome these obstacles. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects consist of the Pancasila Education teacher and twelfth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation is applied to ensure the validity of the findings. The results show that the instillation of religious values is carried out interactively and contextually through discussions, case studies, prayer habituation, reflection activities, and teacher role modeling. The values instilled include faith, honesty, tolerance, responsibility, and social awareness. The inhibiting factors include differences in students’ backgrounds, lack of learning interest, limited instructional time, and the influence of the environment and social media. The efforts made include the use of varied teaching methods, strengthening teacher role modeling, continuous character guidance, and collaboration between the school and parents.

Abstract

Integrity and civic responsibility are two crucial elements in the life of a nation and state. Both are widely believed to be developed through processes of awareness and education. Accordingly, this study aims to identify the role of educational philosophy, as a framework for cultivating awareness, and civic education in strengthening students’ integrity and civic responsibility. This research employed a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design, involving 22 respondents consisting of students, teachers, and school principals. The study began with the collection of quantitative data using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire to identify the perceptions of students, teachers, and school principals regarding the role of educational philosophy and civic education in strengthening students’ integrity and civic responsibility. The collected data were quantified and analyzed quantitatively by calculating percentages and mean scores. Subsequently, qualitative data were gathered through interviews to confirm and elaborate on the previously obtained quantitative findings. The interview data were analyzed qualitatively using an interactive analysis model. The findings indicate that, in general, students, teachers, and school principals hold positive perceptions of the role of educational philosophy and civic education in strengthening students’ integrity and civic responsibility. This is reflected in the mean scores obtained from the questionnaire results, which show positive responses from students (4.52), teachers (4.57), and school principals (4.95). Furthermore, the qualitative findings support and reinforce the quantitative results. Therefore, it can be concluded that educational philosophy and civic education play a significant role in strengthening students’ integrity and civic responsibility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara normatif transparansi hukum atas keterbatasan akses informasi publik Penelitian ini membahas transparansi hukum atas keterbatasan akses informasi publik dalam kasus perusakan lingkungan. Kajian ini berangkat dari pentingnya akses informasi lingkungan sebagai hak publik yang berfungsi untuk menjamin akuntabilitas negara dan pelaku usaha serta memperkuat pengawasan masyarakat terhadap aktivitas yang berdampak pada lingkungan. Akses informasi yang memadai dipandang sebagai prasyarat bagi perlindungan lingkungan karena memungkinkan masyarakat untuk mengetahui, mengawasi, dan merespons secara tepat berbagai bentuk perusakan lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan konseptual melalui penelaahan bahan hukum dan literatur ilmiah yang relevan. Pendekatan tersebut digunakan untuk menilai kesesuaian antara pengaturan hukum mengenai transparansi informasi publik dan praktik pemenuhannya dalam penanganan kasus perusakan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan transparansi hukum telah mengakui akses informasi lingkungan sebagai hak prosedural yang melekat pada perlindungan lingkungan dan partisipasi publik. Namun demikian, pengaturan tersebut belum sepenuhnya menjamin pemenuhan akses informasi publik secara efektif. Keterbatasan akses informasi masih ditemukan dalam praktik, baik dalam bentuk informasi yang tidak lengkap, tidak tepat waktu, maupun sulit diakses oleh masyarakat. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada lemahnya pengawasan publik terhadap aktivitas yang berpotensi merusak lingkungan, menurunnya efektivitas perlindungan lingkungan, serta meningkatnya risiko terjadinya perusakan lingkungan yang berulang. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa transparansi hukum atas akses informasi publik perlu diterapkan secara substantif agar mampu berfungsi sebagai instrumen pencegahan dan penanganan perusakan lingkungan serta menjamin pemenuhan hak publik atas informasi lingkungan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The development of religious and moral values in children is an important aspect in Early Childhood Education. Pratama Widyalaya Dharma Kumara, as the only Widyalaya in Mataram City, strives to organize education by emphasizing the cultivation of Hindu values. This study aims to comprehensively analyze how religious and moral values are internalized from an early age and how they contribute to the formation of children's character. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model. The results of the study show that the cultivation of religious and moral values in Pratama Widyalaya Dharma Kumara is carried out through various activities, namely Tri Sandhya together, prayer before meals, learning activities, and going home, Purnama-Tilem worship together, and prayer at the temple (outing class). The development of religious and moral values in children is evident in behavioral changes, such as the habit of saying "Om Swastyastu", responding to instructions, paying closer attention to the teacher's directions, praying before activities, speaking more politely, and showing concern for the surrounding environment. This research emphasizes the importance of internalizing religious and moral values in Early Childhood Education and the need to strengthen their implementation in other Early Childhood Education institutions. However, because the study was limited to a single location and a small number of subjects, follow-up research with a broader scope is urgently needed to yield more comprehensive results.
