Abstract

SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang menghadapi variasi tingkat pemahaman dan kecepatan belajar siswa. Sebagian menyelesaikan pembelajaran lebih cepat sementara yang lain memerlukan waktu lebih lama. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah variasi tingkat pemahaman dan kecepatan belajar siswa di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang, memerlukan metode pembelajaran yang responsif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterlibatan siswa. Hal ini mendorong penelitian efektivitas metode pembelajaran diferensiasi pada Pemeliharaan Mesin Kendaraan Ringan. Dengan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas selama dua siklus di mana subjek penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa kelas XI Teknik Kendaraan Ringan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa dari Siklus I posttest rata-rata 75,0 ke Siklus II posttest rata-rata 78,6, bersamaan dengan peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dari 77% menjadi 88%. Pembelajaran diferensiasi terbukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterlibatan siswa di lingkungan SMK. Saran penelitian selanjutnya mencakup pemahaman lebih dalam faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi metode tersebut dan pengembangan perencanaan pembelajaran yang terstruktur, untuk mendukung adaptasi kurikulum secara menyeluruh. SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang faces variations in students' level of understanding and learning speed. Some complete learning faster while others take longer. The problem that arises is the variation in the level of understanding and learning speed of students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang, requiring responsive learning methods to improve learning outcomes and student engagement. This encourages research into the effectiveness of differentiation learning methods in Light Vehicle Engine Maintenance. With a classroom action research approach for two cycles where the subjects of this study are 22 students of class XI Light Vehicle Engineering. Results showed a significant improvement in student understanding from Cycle I posttest average 75.0 to Cycle II posttest average 78.6, along with increased student engagement from 77% to 88%. Differentiation learning is proven to be effective in improving learning outcomes and student involvement in the vocational environment. Further research suggestions include a deeper understanding of the factors influencing the method and the development of structured lesson planning, to support overall curriculum adaptation.

Abstract

A novel approach was devised to optimize the stator slot semi-closed type in order improve the magnetic flux connection and minimize iron leakage in high-speed spindle drives. The concept was executed through a combination of response surface approach including the technique of finite element analysis. The primary objective of this investigation would be to provide an engineering approach which improves the functionality of stator criteria, including the stator slot geometry, coil turn per slot, and wire size. The purpose is to achieve higher flux connection and minimize iron leakage. This study presents an enhanced analytical approach that incorporates the analysis of stator flux connection, finite element calculation of flux connection, and iron leakage analysis of stator variables. The results are analyzed through the utilization of finite element computation, and their accuracy is verified through experimental measurements. The findings suggest the ideal design yields increased magnetic flux connection and reduced iron leakage in comparison to the industrial layout. The precision provided by the suggested model is confirmed through the comparison of the simulation and experimental information. In general, the percentage of errors is estimated to be around 7%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop website-based E-Learning on ICT guidance activities at Hidayatul Musthafawiyah Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School. This study uses Research and Development (RandD) methods. This research method uses a 4-D development model to analyze the key stages; defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The trial was conducted on three learning media experts and 37 students at PPS Hidayatul Musthafawiyah. Descriptive analysis data used in this research activity will include analyzing the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of ICT guidance extracurricular E-Learning. The result shows that the ICT-Counseling extracurricular e-learning verification test score is 96.2%, a valid category. The overall rating of the Practical Aptitude Test is 92.77%, which is an efficient category. The overall effectiveness test rating was 98.51%, indicating that this category was used effectively. This research is in developing a valid, practical, and effective platform in an Islamic boarding school setting. In future research, the effectiveness of the developed e-learning platform can be evaluated through a comparative study with traditional classroom learning or other e-learning platforms. Additionally, further research can be conducted to develop e-learning platforms for other extracurricular activities in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Pada sepeda motor saat ini, sistem transmisi yang digunakan adalah transmisi otomatis. Namun dikarenakan kurangnya informasi tentang pengaruh penggunan variasi berat roller menyebabkan banyak pengguna sepeda motor matic beralih menggunakan roller racing yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan tenaga dan menghemat konsumsi bahan bakar. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan variasi berat roller terhadap daya dan konsumsi bahan bakar pada sepeda motor CVT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah True Experimental Design yang mana pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, penggunaan variasi berat roller memberikan peningkatan daya antara roller standar 13 gram dengan roller 11 gram dan roller 9 gram, serta menghasilkan penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar pada sepeda motor CVT. In today's motorcycles, the transmission system used is an automatic transmission. However, due to the lack of information about the effect of using roller weight variations, many automatic motorbike users switch to roller racing which aims to increase power and save fuel consumption. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using roller weight variations on power and fuel consumption on CVT motorbikes. The research method used is True Experimental Design in which the approach used is a quantitative approach. From the results of research conducted, the use of roller weight variations provides an increase in power between a standard 13 gram roller with an 11 gram roller and  9 gram roller, and results in a decrease in fuel consumption on CVT motorcycles.

Abstract

Ketergantungan pada sumber energi fosil saat ini sangat besar, hal ini akan menimbulkan ancaman serius bagi lingkungan dan ketersediaan energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dampak bahan bakar alternatif berupa penggunaan campuran bahan bakar bensin dan bioetanol terhadap emisi gas buang pada mesin sepeda motor empat langkah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan pengujian emisi gas buang pada variasi putaran mesin 1400 rpm, 2000 rpm, 2500 rpm, 3000 rpm, dan 3500 rpm. Penurunkan emisi gas buang, terutama untuk emisi Carbon Monoksida (CO) yang turun sebesar 49,34% dibandingkan dengan bensin murni pada campuran 20%. Campuran 20% juga efektif dalam menurunkan emisi hidrokarbon (HC). Pada konsentrasi campuran 30% dan 50%, emisi CO dan HC juga mengalami penurunan, tetapi tidak optimal seperti pada campuran 20%. Rata-rata penurunan emisi CO mencapai 29,18% pada semua tingkat putaran mesin yang diuji, sementara emisi HC menunjukkan penurunan rata-rata sebesar 36,43%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa campuran bioetanol pada konsentrasi 20% memberikan hasil terbaik  dan optimal. Currently, dependence on fossil energy sources is very large, this will pose a serious threat to the environment and energy availability. This study aims to examine the impact of alternative fuels in the form of using a mixture of gasoline and bioethanol on exhaust emissions in four-stroke motorcycle engines. The research method used is an experiment with exhaust emission testing at engine speed variations of 1400 rpm, 2000 rpm, 2500 rpm, 3000 rpm, and 3500 rpm. Reduction in exhaust emissions, especially for Carbon Monoxide (CO) emissions which decreased by 49.34% compared to pure gasoline at a mixture of 20%. The 20% mixture is also effective in reducing hydrocarbon (HC) emissions. At a mixture concentration of 30% and 50%, CO and HC emissions also decreased, but not optimally as in the 20% mixture. The average reduction in CO emissions reached 29.18% at all engine speed levels tested, while HC emissions showed an average decrease of 36.43%. The research results show that a mixture of bioethanol at a concentration of 20% gives the best and optimal results.

Abstract

Penelitian didahului dengan observasi kepada mahasiswa departemen teknik otomotif UNP yang tidak memahami tentang sensor throttle position sensor terutama cara diagnosis dan cara pengukurannya. Tujuan riset pengembangan media video pembelajaran throttle position sensor pada mata kuliah sensor tranduser. Melakukan pembuatan video pembelajaran yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dan dapat mudah dipahami. Media video pembelajaran dikembangkan dengan metode Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). Analisis yang dilakukan berupa valid dan praktis dari media video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh nilai CVI 0,9123, dan oleh ahli media memperoleh nilai sebesar 0,8125 . Hasil nilai praktikalitas dari mahasiswa sebesar 85,33%, maka video pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan adalah video pembelajaran yang valid dan praktis serta layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. The research was preceded by observing students from the UNP automotive engineering department who did not understand the throttle position sensor, especially how to diagnose it and how to measure it. The aim of the Throttle Position Sensor learning video media research in the transducer sensor course is to create learning videos that can help students and are easy to understand. Learning video media was developed using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) method. The analysis carried out was in the form of valid and practical of the developed learning video media. The validation results by material experts obtained a CVI value of 0.9123, and by media experts obtained a value of 0.8125. The results of the practicality value from students were 85.33%, so the learning video that has been developed is a valid and practical learning video and is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah kejuruan (SMK) dalam menghasilkan tamatan yang memiliki kompetensi eksklusif, berupaya untuk mendidik tamatannya menggunakan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk menjadi wirausahawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan mengetahui kontribusi   pengalaman belajar dan motivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran PKK terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa di SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. Penelitian deskriptif dengan jenis korelasional serta survei. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas XI teknik otomotif SMKN 1 Bukitinggi dan populasi sebanyak 90 orang, menggunakan rumus slovin didapatkan sampel sebanyak 48 orang. Penelitian ini mengunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk Gform. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yakni uji regresi linear sederhana, uji regresi linear berganda, uji T, uji F, koefisien determinasi serta uji multikolinearitas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya dampak positif serta signifikan antara pengalaman belajar serta motivasi belajar terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XI Jurusan Teknik otomotif SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. Vocational High Schools (SMK) in producing graduates who have exclusive competencies, strive to educate their graduates using the knowledge and skills needed to become entrepreneurs. This study was conducted to determine the contribution of learning experiences and learning motivation in PKK subjects to students' entrepreneurial interests at SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. Descriptive research with correlational and survey types. The subjects of this study were class XI automotive engineering students of SMKN 1 Bukitinggi and a population of 90 people, using the slovin formula, a sample of 48 people was obtained. This study used a questionnaire in the form of Gform. The analysis techniques used were simple linear regression tests, multiple linear regression tests, T tests, F tests, coefficients of determination and multicollinearity tests. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant impact between learning experiences and learning motivation on the entrepreneurial interests of class XI students of the Automotive Engineering Department of SMKN 1 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian terkait sikap belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan Mesin Kendaraan Ringan (PMKR) SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir terhadap hasil belajar perlu dilakukan, agar mendapatkan informasi terkait gaya belajar, minat, dan bakat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Populasi dan Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa di kelas X Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Total Sampling. Angket digunakan untuk mengukur sikap belajar siswa dan dokumentasi nilai siswa untuk mengukur hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap belajar memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan hasil belajar dengan nilai (r = 0,999). Sikap belajar juga memberikan kontribusi sebesar 99,9% terhadap pencapaian belajar siswa.  Research related to students' learning attitudes in the Light Vehicle Engine Maintenance subject at SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir towards learning outcomes needs to be conducted, in order to obtain information related to learning styles, interests, and talents to improve the quality of learning. The population and sample of this study amounted to 30 students in class X of Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir, sampling using the Total Sampling technique. Questionnaires were used to measure students' learning attitudes and documentation of student grades to measure learning outcomes. The results of the study showed that learning attitudes had a positive and significant relationship with learning outcomes with a value (r = 0.999). Learning attitudes also contributed 99.9% to student learning achievement.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to develop spark ignition engine parameters that allow complete combustion while reducing dependence on fossil fuels. To achieve this goal, optimization of compression ratio, gasoline-ethanol mixture, ignition timing, and spark plug type was used. In addition, this study used water injection that continuously injects water before the intake manifold. In this study, the Taguchi method with the L9 orthogonal array was applied. According to the experimental verification results, the best combination to reduce exhaust emission levels is to utilize gasoline-ethanol (E70), a compression ratio (CR) of 15.6:1, an ignition degree of +4°, and a platinum spark plug. Meanwhile, the presence of water injection at 1.45 ml/s helps reduce vehicle exhaust pollutants.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of digital leadership in educational transformation in the Education 4.0 era, with a focus on the readiness of school principals in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach through literature study, the results show that the majority of school principals do not have sufficient competence to face digital challenges, especially in mastering technology, change management and pedagogical innovation. Key barriers include limited infrastructure, resistance to change, and minimal stakeholder collaboration. Strategy recommendations include digital competency training, improving infrastructure, and developing contextual approaches to overcome these challenges. This study emphasizes the importance of digital in creating an innovative and adaptive learning ecosystem, which supports sustainable educational transformation.
