Abstract

This article reveals the results of research on the contents of history subjects in history textbooks for High School that issued in two different government, those are the New Order Government and Reformation Government, which are considered to contain ideological messages. History textbooks that flowed from the curriculum follows on government policies. That wasn’t surprising if the government changed, they will change the curriculum, and also change the content of text books, in this case includes the history text books. The change indicates that history text books cannot be separated from the interests of the government’s ideology. The aim of this research is wanting to reveal the forms of ideology that is present in the content of history text books. The method that used is critical discourse analysis to know the ideological discourse in history text books from two different government periods. The history text books that are examined based on the 1994 Curriculum and the 2013 Curriculum to indicate two curriculums results from two reigns. Based on the results of this research, it can be compared with the ideology of writing content of history text books in the New Order and Reformation period, there are includes communism and Pancasila, deceit democracy and freedom for democracy, militarism and anti-militarism, neoliberalism and anti-communism, liberalism and anti-liberalism. However, there is still a single narrative of the nation in the New Order that could not be replaced by the Reformation era.

Abstract

This research derived from an anxiety that looked history learning as a subject that was very close with intellectual competences development. In fact, history itself ilustrated value experience which could give such a kind of wisdom, and more over the history also had a big value in it. So, it was thought that there was a need to have a right strategy to understand the value of history. One kind of value that could be internalized to students in history learning was Sundane local wisdom. Sundanese culture had various inheritances, for example was like oral literature (folklore) in paribasa and babasan. The problems in this research were how to identify the values of Sundanese culture in paribasa and babasan, and how the people could use paribasa and babasan in a process of value socialization and internalization, how those values could be applied in history learning. This research used a qualitative approach. It was divided in two phases, the first one was about folklore, and the second one was about naturalistic study on history learning process in the class. The result of this research was also divided in two parts. The first part was related to social values identification that could be extracted on Cireundeu Cultural Village pass through paribasa and babasan. Based on the result of the observation and interview with the villagers, they used paribasa and babasan which generally got the same point with the others Sundanese societies, so there was no specialty in Cireundeu. The main point was they still used paribasa and babasan in their daily life, especially when they counseled their children, interacted to each other, said euphemism critic, and taught Sundanese values to the young generations. Second, this part was related to paribasa and babasan’s value implementation in history learning on SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung. There were two approaches in this implementation, value inculcation approach and value clarification approach. This kind of history learning that put paribasa and babasan as a media of value inculcation passed through appreciation, self-identification, behavior implementation, and habit forming

Abstract

Nationalism was born as a result of the education of colonial government in the early of the twentieth century. At the beginning, nationalism was based on the local or ethnic identities that gave birth to ethnonationalism. This ethno-nationalist point of view caused debates among Sundanese noblemen in responding to the establishment of Budi Utomo branch in Bandung.

Abstract

Learning history in schools has always been based on the process of knowledge transfer, including memorizing textbooks. That kind of method has reduced essence historical thinking, especially in the ability to historical comprehension. For the process to successfully reconstruct knowledge, one way that can be done is to use the history book of local wisdom in ancient manuscripts. The Tanjung Tanah manuscript is one of the ancient documents which contains the value of local wisdom, such as the value of responsibility, respect, and honesty. Through history learning based on local wisdom of the Tanjung Tanah manuscript, it is expected that students will be able to comprehend historical comprehension more quickly. This study uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design. The population is students at grade ten of senior high school in Kerinci Regency, while the sample is students at degree ten of SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci. The results of the study show that learning the history of local wisdom of Tanjung Tanah manuscripts improves the students’ historical comprehension ability.Pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah selama ini masih bertumpu pada proses transfer of knowledge berupa menghafal isi buku teks. Cara tersebut telah mereduksi esensi keterampilan berpikir sejarah, terutama pada kemampuan pemahaman sejarah. Agar terjadi proses reconstruct of knowledge maka salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah menghadirkan pembelajaran sejarah berbasis kearifan lokal dalam naskah-naskah kuno. Naskah Tanjung Tanah merupakan salah satu naskah kuno yang sarat nilai kearifan lokal, seperti nilai tanggung jawab, sikap hormat, dan kejujuran. Melalui pembelajaran sejarah berbasis kearifan lokal Naskah Tanjung Tanah diharapkan akan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman sejarah pada siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen, populasi adalah siswa SMA kelas X di Kabupaten Kerinci, sampel siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran sejarah berbasis kearifan lokal Naskah Tanjung Tanah efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman sejarah siswa.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine how well the implementation of the principles of the governance institution and its relation to the performance on PPSDM Aparatur. The principles of governance is the principle of transparency, independence, accountability, responsibility, and fairness. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods. In assessing the implementation of the principles ofgovernance institutions and its effect on performance, the authors uses quetionare as a primary data. The analysis results of the implementation of governance institution on PPSDM Aparatur based on questionnaires reached 74.2 percent and the results of the dependent variable performance scores 76 percent, both are included good category. The partial results of hypothesis testing showed that each independent variable on the dependent variable affects the performance of the institution. Variables affectthe principle of transparency by 73.8%, amounting to 72.9% the independence principle, the principle of accountability by 84%, amounting to 95.6% accountability principle, and the principle of fairness by 79.9%. And the influence of the independent variable most dominant or most influence on the performance of the institution is the responsibilityvariables. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa baik implementasi prinsip-prinsip tata kelola lembaga dan hubungannya terhadap kinerja pada PPSDM Aparatur. Prinsip-prinsip tata kelola yang digunakan adalah yakni prinsip keterbukaan, kemandirian, akuntabilitas, pertanggungjawaban, dan kewajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Dalam menilai implementasi prinsip- prinsip tata kelola lembaga dan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja, penulis menggunakan kuesioner sebagai data primer. Hasil implementasi tata kelola lembaga di PPSDM Aparatur berdasarkan kuesioner mencapai 74.2 persen dan hasil dari variabel terikat kinerja mendapatkan nilai 76 persen, keduanya termasuk dalam kategori baik. Adapun hasil uji hipotesis secara parsial menunjukan bahwa setiap variabel independen berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen kinerjalembaga.Variabel prinsip keterbukaan berpengaruh sebesar 73.8%, , prinsip kemandirian sebesar 72.9 %, prinsip akuntabilitas sebesar 84 %, prinsip pertanggungjawaban sebesar 95.6 %, dan prinsip kewajaran sebesar 79.9 %. Dan pengaruh variabel independen yang paling dominan atau paling besar pengaruhnyaterhadap kinerja lembaga adalah variabel pertanggungjawaban.

Abstract

The quality of training institutions is an important part of human resource management that needs to be improved. To become a professional training institution, PPSDM Aparatur must be able to manage the implementation of training in a professional manner and become a center for developing of human resources that capable to provide an excellent service in all management aspects. PPSDM Apparatus needs to carry out organizational improvement strategies. Quality training happens if it is supported by all elements of quality education, both training institutions, widyaiswara, and fasilitator of professional training, curriculum relevant to the aims and objectives of training program, the availability of facilities and infrastructure relevant to the needs of training implementation. For widyaiswara, widyaiswara development is needed continuously in terms of both quantity and quality considering the development and rapid progress of world of. ABSTRAKKualitas lembaga pendidikan dan pelatihan merupakan bagian penting dalam pengelolaan SDM yang perlu terus ditingkatkan. Untuk menjadi lembaga pendidikan dan pelatihan yang terpercaya, PPSDM Aparatur harus mampu mengelola penyelenggaraan diklat secara professional serta menjadi pusat pengembangan sumber daya manusia aparatur negara yang mampu memberikan pelayanan prima dalam semua aspek manajemen. Dalam upaya mewujudkan kondisi tersebut, PPSDM Aparatur perlu melakukan strategi pembenahan organisasi. Diklat dikatakan bermutu apabila didukung oleh semua unsur kediklatan yang berkualitas, baik lembaga diklatnya, widyaiswara, dan pengelola diklat yang profesional, kurikulum yang sesuai dengan tujuan dan sasaran pogram diklat, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pelaksanaan diklat. Diperlukan pengembangan widyaiswara secara berkesinambungan baik dari segi kuantitas maupun kualitasnya mengingat perkembangan dunia ilmu pengetahuan dewasa ini mengalami kemajuan yang begitu pesatnya.

Abstract

History textbooks are historical writings that have a function in developing educational values, including nationalism. Indonesia has a historical background colonized by the West, so that history textbooks will create nationalism’s value. This study aims to see how nationalism is described in the history textbooks of the two countries through historical events. The method used in this research is content analysis, namely analyzing the textbook’s narrative based on the indicators of the theory of nationalism. The findings of this study are indicators of the idea of nationalism, which includes myths of past glory, ethnicity and diversity, and colonialism in the description of historical events. This study concludes that the indicators of nationalism in history textbooks in Indonesia and Malaysia narrate in an indoctrinating language by placing nationalism as an ideology.Buku teks sejarah adalah tulisan sejarah yang memiliki fungsi dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai pendidikan, termasuk nasionalisme. Indonesia memiliki latar belakang sejarah yang dijajah oleh Barat, sehingga buku teks sejarah akan melahirkan nilai nasionalisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana nasionalisme digambarkan dalam buku teks sejarah kedua negara melalui peristiwa sejarah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi, yaitu menganalisis narasi buku teks berdasarkan indikator teori nasionalisme. Temuan penelitian ini adalah indikator gagasan nasionalisme, yang meliputi mitos kejayaan masa lalu, etnisitas dan keragaman, dan kolonialisme dalam deskripsi peristiwa sejarah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa indikator nasionalisme dalam buku teks sejarah di Indonesia dan Malaysia dinarasikan dalam bahasa yang indoktrinasi dengan menempatkan nasionalisme sebagai ideologi.

Abstract

Puzzle hijaiyah Elektronik Interaktif adalah games edukasi kombinasi dari piranti lunak dan perangkat keras untuk membantu sarana pembelajaran anak-anak usia dini dalam pengenalan huruf-huruf hijaiyah Al-Quran. Pada saat penyusunan puzzle memiliki indikator berupa suara dan gambar animasi bergerak ketika penyusunan puzzle benar yang ditampilkan pada layar smartphone android. Pembuatan puzzle hijaiyah elektronik ini memanfaatkan alat-alat elektronik antara lain untuk membaca perubahan high atau low menggunakan sensor cahaya photodioda, untuk mengontrol menyala LED menggunakan IC demultiplexer, gerbang OR digunakan untuk menggabungkan keluaran dari setiap sensor dan memanfaatkan keluaran logika low, mikrokontroler DT-AVR Maxiduino sebagai pengontrol kerja komponen lain dan pengolah data yang diterima dari setiap sensor, Basic4Android sebagai editor pembuatan interface pada smartphone android yang digunakan untuk mengolah data yang dikirim dari mikrokontroler, bluetooth HC-06 sebagai alat komunikasi antara mikrokontroler dengan smartphone android. Pengujian alat ini berfungsi 100% dalam pengiriman dan penerimaan data melalui komunikasi bluetooth, alat ini berhasil dan dapat digunakan. Diharapkan dengan adanya alat ini dapat membuat anak-anak lebih tertarik lagi untuk belajar sehingga untuk belajar Al- quran dapat lebih menarik lagi dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir dan membuat anak belajar berkonsentrasi.

Abstract

Jenis tanah dalam suatu wilayah dapat berbeda jenis tergantung dari kontur dan letak wilayah. Sebagai contoh, pemilihan jenis tanah yang tepat dapat menentukan tingkat keberhasilan bercocok tanam. Faktor yang dapat menjadi parameter keberhasilan diantaranya suhu lingkungan, kelembaban lingkungan, kandungan air dalam tanah, ketinggian lahan, kemiringan kontur tanah, serta lokasi lahan. Saat ini belum terdapat alat ukur terintegrasi yang dapat mengetahui parameter-parameter yang diperlukan seperti suhu, kelembaban, kandungan air dalam tanah, kemiringan lahan, ketinggian lahan, serta luas dan keliling lahan. Dengan pemilihan lahan yang tepat guna, akan meminimalisir akibat dari penyalahgunaan lahan seperti bencana alam dan kerusakan lingkungan. Alat ukur ini dapat menampilkan hasil pengukuran luas, keliling, suhu, kelembaban, kelembaban tanah, dan lokasi dari lahan. Smartphone Android menjadi bagian utama dalam alat ini sebagai pengukur luas dan keliling berdasarkan data latitude dan longitude yang bersumber dari sensor Global Positioning System (GPS) Smartphone menggunakan metode Haversine. Sensor suhu dan kelembaban yang digunakan adalah DHT-22 serta sensor Soil Moisture. Kedua sensor tersebut dibaca oleh mikrokontroler Arduino Nano.

Abstract

Livestock, and the harmonious relationship between humans/communities and the natural surroundings. This paper examines several local pearls of wisdom related to disaster mitigation in the lives of the people of West Java. Mitigation can build a culture of reaction to a culture of prevention, or from acting after the incident to acting before the incident. The study becomes interesting by searching for local wisdom of disaster mitigation still growing in the community. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that describes the research subject in the field. Part of the data was obtained by observation before the COVID-19 pandemic and partly from the documentation. Furthermore, it is analyzed through data reduction, verification, and presentation. The results showed that the traditional village communities in West Java, such as Kampung Adat Naga, Kampung Adat Ciptagelar, Kampung Adat Cireundeu, Kampung Adat Polo, and Kampung Adat Kuta, have local wisdom in disaster mitigation which is implemented in the construction of houses, prohibition forests, prohibition of raising animals. The local wisdom of disaster mitigation is reinforced by myths with magical nuances that have strong potential in protecting the surrounding natural environment. Local wisdom can be a form of indirect awareness and has meaning in dealing with disaster threats to reduce disaster risk.
