Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan instrumen penilaian psikomotor senam lantai menggunakan alat pada materi guling depan, guling belakang, lompat kangkang dan lompat jongkok yang valid, reliabel dan praktis. Data diperoleh di SDN Baturintang dengan subjek uji coba skala kecil 10 siswa, sedangkan uji coba skala luas 50 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, validitas butir, analisis faktor comfimatory (CFA), relibilitas intra-kelas koefisien (ICC) dan uji kepraktisan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Hasil validitas butir skala kecil untuk guling depan 14 butir dan 1 butir tidak valid, guling belakang 15 butir dan 1 butir tidak valid, sedangkan untuk lompat kangkang dan lompat jongkok valid dari 16 butir. Nilai reliabilitas skala kecil untuk materi guling depan 0.88, guling belakang 0.92, lompat kangkang 0.97 dan lompat jongkok 0.96. Instrumen yang dikembangkan valid secara konstruk karena mampu menjelaskan variasi keseluruhan pada materi guling depan sebesar 72%, guling belakang 74%, lompat kangkang 70% dan lompat jongkok 74%. Nilai reliabilitas ICC materi guling depan 0.983, guling belakang 9.87, lompat kangkang 0.984 dan lompat jongkok 0.984. Hasil uji kepraktisan menunjukkan instrumen guling depan pada angka 33 dalam kategori “praktis”, guling belakang 34, lompat kangkang 35 dan lompat jongkok 35 dalam kategori “sangat praktis”. The propuse this research to produce an assessment instrument psychomotor gymnastics floor using a material roll forward, roll back, straddle jump and jump squats are valid, reliable and practical. Data obtained in SDN Baturintang with Subject for limited scale try out was 10 students, meanwhile subject for a larger scale try out was 50 students. The method used research and development (R&D). Analysis of data using triangulation sources, validity,factor analysis comfimatory (CFA), reliability intra-class (ICC) and practicality test. The result of validity on item for little scale forward roll 14 valid and 1 invalid, back roll 15 items and 1 ietm is not valid, straddle jump and squat jump for each 16 items. The reliability score for little scale of front rolling is 0.88, back rolling 0.92, straddle jump is 0.97 and squat jump is 0.96. The developed instruments were valid in term of construct vaidity (CFA) because they are able to explain the variation entirely on material of front rolling with 72%, back rolling 74%, straddle jump 70% and squat jump 74%. Scor of reliability ICC on average for material of forward roll 0.983, back roll 9.87, straddle jump 0.984 and squat jump 0.984. The result of practicality showed that instrument of front rolling is in number 33 or categorized ‘practical’ for back rolling 34, straddle jump 35 and squat jump 35 and they are three categorized into ‘very practical’.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen penilaian psikomotor IPA yang valid, reliable dan praktis. Instrumen penilian diujicobakan pada siswa kelas V SD tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dengan melibatkan tiga guru sebagai rater (penilai). Model Pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model R&D atas Borg and Gaal yang dimodifikasi menjadi tiga tahap meliputi : (1) Pendahuluan; (2) Pengembangan Produk; (3) Penyajian produk pengembangan. Dihitung validitasnya menggunakan validasi ahli dari ketiga penilai terhadap instrumen asesmen unjuk kerja dapat digunakan dari nilai expert judgement menggunakan teknik aiken’s V. Dinilai dari reliabilitas instrumen unjuk kerja pada skala kecil di SDN Jlamprang soal nomor satu sebesar 0,875, soal nomor dua sebesar 0,898, soal nomor tiga sebesar, 0,631, soal nomor empat sebesar, 0,962 dan soal nomor lima sebesar, 0,75, untuk nilai reliabilitas pada skala besar menggunakan ICC dan IRR. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kesepakatan antar rater SDN Wonosari 03 sebesar 0,61 untuk harga seorang rater sedangkan rata-rata rater sebesar 0,82, untuk SDN Wonosari 01 menunjukkan 0,67 untuk seorang rater serta 0,85 untuk rata-rata rater yang artinya instrumen mempunyai kualaitas stabilitas yang cukup tinggi. Secara umum guru menilai instrumen unjuk kerja memiliki subyektivitas, kesistematisan, konstruksi, masing-masing sebesar 14,33 (Obyektivitas), 13.00 (Kesistematisan), 13,50 (Konstruksi), 15,00 (Kebahasaan) dan 14,00 (Kepraktisan) dengan demikian instrumen unjuk kerja ini dapat dikatakan secara umum dinilai praktis. The development of research aimed at producing psychomotor assessment instrument IPA are valid, reliable and practical. Judging instrument tested in the fifth grade elementary school students in the academic year 2015/2016, involving three teachers as raters (assessors). Development models used in this study is a model of R & D on a modified Borg and Gaal into three stages: (1) Introduction; (2) Product Development; (3) Presentation of product development. Calculated validity using expert validation of the three assessors to the assessment instrument performance can be used from the value of expert judgment using techniques aiken's V. Judged reliability of the instrument performance on a small scale in SDN Jlamprang about the first 0.875, question number two at 0.898, Question three of, 0.631, about number four for, and about 0,962 for the number five, 0.75, for the value of reliability on a massive scale using ICC and IRR. The analysis showed inter-rater agreement SDN Wonosari 03 of 0.61 to the price of a rater rater while the average was 0.82, for SDN Wonosari 01 shows a rater and 0.67 to 0.85 for the average rater which means instruments kualaitas has a fairly high stability. In general, teachers assess the performance of the instrument has a subjectivity, Systematics construction, each at 14.33 (Objectivity), 13:00 (Systematic), 13.50 (Construction), 15.00 (Linguistic) and 14.00 (Practicality) thus the instrument's performance can be said to be generally considered practical.

Abstract

Motivation has a strategic role in one's learning activities; besides, parents' socio-economic conditions also affect the educational process. This study aimed to find out the relationship between learning motivation and socio-economic status of parents with science learning achievement. This research used post facto method with a quantitative research design. The research data from 85 students was taken using questionnaires and tests. Testing the instrument was done by testing the validity and reliability testing. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis, analysis prerequisite test, hypothesis testing. The results showed a relationship between learning motivation and parents’ socio-economic status that affected science learning achievement. The results of the linearity test showed that the learning motivation Fcount was 0.664 > 0.05, the economic status of the parents was 0.977 > 0.05, so the learning motivation and economic status of the parents towards learning achievement were linear. The results of hypothesis testing using the t test obtained t count of 4,875 and t table of 1,988, then t count > t table. It can be concluded that partially the motivation to learn and parents' socio-economic status has a strong relationship with science learning achievement.

Abstract

Training students through problem solving in mathematics learning is expected to be able to equip them to solve existing problems easily in everyday life. This study aims to analyse the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by GeoGebra in improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The method of this study was quantitative experimental type using Pre-Test Post-Test in one group. The samples of the study were students of VA class from SDN Petompon 01 and students of VA class from SDN Sampangan 02 with a total of 64 students. The data were obtained through the question sheet of problem solving abilities. Then, the data were analysed using N-gain. After carrying out learning using PBL models assisted by GeoGebra, the final results showed that mathematical problem solving ability from both groups of students experienced an average increase of 0.55 with a medium category. Therefore, students need to get more learning and practice in solving the questions using problem solving. Because problem solving abilities will be more optimal if the students are given the opportunity to learn with the real world directly.

Abstract

Students are both subject and object in educational institutions. The number of students has a significant impact on the existence of educational institutions. Competitive competition encourages educational institutions to innovate in the promotion of educational services. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze; 1) Strategic plan; 2) Strategic steps of Madrasah Head in increasing the interest of prospective students at MIN 1 Kendal Kendal Regency. The research method was qualitative and the design was case study, the process of collecting data was observation, interview and document study. The results showed: 1) There was increasing of short-term and long-term strategic plan using SWOT analysis; 2) Creating madrasa differentiation as a superior program; 3) Improving the culture of discipline; 4) Optimizing the extra-curricular activities to improve student achievement; 5) Determining tuition fee; 6) Improving the quality of the teachers; 7) Improving the quality of teaching and learning activities; 8) Promotion strategies were divided into promotion strategies through the new student admission committee (PPDB) and through activities organized by madrasa. The suggestion related to the result of this study was madrasa should make the mapping of the region as a promotional target and move more quickly in meeting the madrasah facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia plays an important role in nation-building, particularly its people. Schools’ success is very much dependent on that of their principals in exercising their roles and performing tasks. One of the decisive factors which the quality of education and school effectivity depend on is a principal’s leadership. The purpose of this research is to analyze the school principal’s leadership at SMP Daarul Qur’an Ungaran, Central Java. This is a descriptive and qualitative research employing study-case approach. Using purposive sampling, the respondents of this research are the school principal, teachers and school committee. The collection of data was carried out by interview, observation and documents study using source triangulation as the technique to ensure their validity. The data were then analyzed by utilizing data reduction, data display and verification or inference. The result of the research shows that the principal is able to fulfill his tasks and responsibilities as the leader at SMP Daarul Qur’an Ungaran, Central Java, promoting democratic leadership. The leadership of SMP Daarul Qur’an principal has been highly regarded by his subordinates (teachers, staff and students alike). The school principal is constantly attempting to improve the quality of the service in place, both the academic and religious aspects, so as to uphold its position as an Islamic education institution by maintaining religious values in learning process at SMP Daarul Qur’an. The success and effectivity of SMP Daarul Qur’an principal’s leadership take shape in his quotidian attitude, delegation of tasks, decision making, supervision, school development, communication, motivational speech and provision of rewards to his subordinates. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning management of the al-Qur’an tutorial program and fiqh of worship at Sultan Agung Islamic University Semarang. This study uses a qualitative case study approach. The research subjects consisted of the Head of the al-Qur’an Tutorial Division, tutor coordinator, tutor/mentor and tutorial participants. The data collection technique used the interview method, observation, and document analysis. The research instrument was the researcher and the interview guide, observation and document analysis. The validity of the data was done by triangulating the source and triangulating the findings. Data analysis used interactive Miles-Huberman analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the management planning of the tutorial program al-Qur'an and fiqh of worship at the Islamic University of Sultan Agung Semarang was guided by: (1) Analysis of student needs/problems (2) Analysis of the conditions and situation of the university, (3) Determination of objectives, (4) ) Determining the type, technique and strategy of activities, (5) Determining the time and place of activities, (6) Determining facilities and budgeting costs.

Abstract

This research discusses the social value inculcation implementation in building the fifth graders' characters at primary schools through social study learning. Living together in a society requires a particular value as a reference to interact with other people. This value is called as a social value. The family has a role in fostering human based on social value. Social value inculcation at school covers practical aspects. However, unfortunately, learning at schools mostly emphasizes the cognitive aspect. The objectives of this research were: 1) finding out the social value inculcation implementation in Social study learning for fifth graders of primary schools. 2) finding out the inhibiting factors and solution experienced by the teachers in instilling social values through social study learning for fifth graders of primary school. 3) finding out the outcomes of social value inculcation implementation in building the fifth graders' characters of primary school through social study. This research applies a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative study is a study to understand a particular experienced phenomenon by research subjects, such as behaviours, perceptions, motivation, actions, and so on holistically by describing them into words and languages. It is done in a specific scientific context by using various scientific methods. The findings showed (1) the teachers' attitudes toward the fifth graders of Public Primary School 1 Terban and Public Primary School 6 Terban were innovative. Their attitudes reflected social study learning; (2) the inhibiting matters during the learning were from the teachers, learning materials, and learning media. The attempts to overcome the hindrances were providing training for social study teachers that was not their field of expertise; (3) the teachers were successful in instilling social-affective values based on the given indicators. The research implication showed excellent social-affective inculcation for the students through social study. Abstract

Islamic school culture basically embodies daily activities based on Islamic guidelines. SD Islam Sultan Agung 01 Semarang is a school that implements management based on school culture. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation and evaluation of the management of moral and systemic institutions based on Islamic school culture at SD Islam Sultan Agung 01 Semarang. This study approach is qualitative with the form of case studies. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document studies. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using qualitative analysis, which is the results of the research that will be translated into words so that the researcher can describe the results of the research in depth according to the actual conditions in the field. The results of this study at SD Islam Sultan Agung 01 Semarang show that the management of moral and systemic institutions based on Islamic school culture includes: (1) implementation with process stages: MLBS program material, MLBS program strategy, and MLBS program implementation schedule, (2) evaluation in the form of process evaluation and result evaluation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find differences in the learning motivation of students who learn to use a role playing model based on traditional games with conventional learning. The research was conducted using a quantitative research approach, namely a quasi-experimental method with a research design using a pretest-posttest control group design. This design involved two groups of subjects, one was given experimental treatment (experimental group) and the other was not given treatment (control class). The results showed that the students' learning motivation in the experimental class with the role playing model based on the traditional crank game was better than the control class with conventional learning. These results can be proven by the mean value of the experimental class motivation of 84.87, while the average result of the control class motivation is 68.37. It can be concluded that the use of role playing models based on traditional crank games has a better effect than conventional learning in increasing learning motivation of fourth grade elementary school students.
