Abstract

The phenomenon of value disorientation and identity crisis among contemporary Muslims, marked by the growing influence of materialism and secularization, indicates a gap between religious knowledge and the comprehensive implementation of the Islamic Worldview. This study aims to analyse in depth the essential functions of the Islamic Worldview as a foundation of thought, a shaper of character, and a guide to action for Muslims amid contemporary challenges. The study employs a literature review (library research) method by examining and synthesizing relevant scholarly sources on the concept and role of the Islamic Worldview. The findings identify six main functions of the Islamic Worldview, namely: (1) foundation of creed (tauhid); (2) moral and ethical guidance; (3) determinant of life purpose (attaining sa‘adah); (4) filter against external influences, particularly secularism; (5) basis for social and scientific action; and (6) integration of the worldly and hereafter dimensions. Accordingly, the Islamic Worldview is not merely a theoretical construct, but a comprehensive belief system that is vital for shaping the holistic Muslim personality (Insan Kamil). Proper internalization of the Islamic Worldview serves as a firm foundation for safeguarding identity, orienting life goals, and reinforcing the consistency of Muslim behaviour, thereby offering a conceptual solution to the global value crisis.

Abstract

The employee recruitment process is a crucial stage in determining the quality of human resources in a company. Decision-making that relies solely on intuition or subjective judgment often leads to inaccuracies in selecting the best candidates. This study aims to develop an employee recruitment decision support system using the Multi Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method to provide objective and measurable assessment results. The MFEP method was chosen for its ability to evaluate alternatives based on a number of predetermined criteria. The criteria used in this study included education, work experience, technical skills, communication skills, and interview results. Each criterion was weighted based on its level of importance, then normalized and calculated to determine the total score for each candidate. The results of the system implementation show that the MFEP method is able to assist decision makers in assessing and determining the most suitable candidates efficiently and systematically. This system also minimizes subjectivities in the selection process and increases transparency and accountability in the assessment of new employees. Thus, the application of the MFEP method in decision support systems can be an effective solution in improving the quality of recruitment in companies.

Abstract

Pesantren, as the oldest and most distinctive Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, play a central role in shaping character, morals, and the preservation of Islamic values, yet in the midst of modernization and globalization they face various critical problems. This study aims to identify the main challenges faced by pesantren and other Islamic educational institutions, including limited resources (infrastructure, technology, and funding), the relevance of the curriculum in responding to labor market demands, and the need for more dynamic and adaptive educational methodologies. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach based on literature study, this analysis shows that pesantren are required to achieve a balance between the tradition of Kitab Kuning and modernity in the form of mastery of general sciences and technology. The suggested solutions include integrating a comprehensive curriculum that combines Islamic studies with mathematics, science, ICT, and languages; developing problem-based and interactive learning methodologies; and strengthening the economic self-reliance of pesantren. These adaptation efforts are crucial for enabling pesantren to maintain their scholarly identity while making a significant contribution to producing cadres who are mutafaqqih fiddin and competitive in the contemporary era.

Abstract

Penyakit jantung merupakan penyebab kematian tertinggi di dunia dan Indonesia. Kemampuan sistem prediksi menjadi penting bagi praktisi kesehatan dalam pengambilan keputusan yang cepat dan akurat. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan komparasi tiga algoritma Decision Tree, yaitu C4.5, CART, dan Random Forest, menggunakan dataset penyakit jantung UCI. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui confusion matrix dan ROC curve untuk melihat akurasi dan AUC setiap algoritma.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Random Forest memberikan performa terbaik dengan akurasi 90,12% dan AUC 0,972, disusul CART (87,41%; AUC 0,960) dan C4.5 (86,59%; AUC 0,957). Hal ini membuktikan bahwa ensemble-based Decision Tree mampu memberikan akurasi yang lebih stabil dibandingkan pohon tunggal.Kata Kunci: Decision Tree, C4.5, CART, Random Forest, Penyakit Jantung

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the axiological challenges in Islamic education funding, particularly regarding efforts to balance traditional values of sincerity with the demands of modern financial professionalism. Amid globalization, Islamic educational institutions face controversy between maintaining service ethics based on divine values and adopting formal financial management trends that prioritize accountability and efficiency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach and philosophical analysis. The researcher examines the literature on educational financial management and philosophy of science journals to find a synthesis between the two paradigms that are often considered contradictory.The research results show that the main challenge lies in the potential desacralization of the value of sincerity when confronted with commercial standardization; however, financial professionalism has proven to be an urgent necessity to ensure the institution's sustainability transparently. The proposed solution is the reconstruction of funding axiology through the 'Spirituality-Based Professionalism' model, where modern accountability is not seen as a technical burden but as a form of trust that strengthens the value of sincerity itself. This research contributes a new theoretical framework for Islamic education management in formulating financial policies that preserve the dignity of pesantren or madrasah while remaining competitive with global governance standards. The findings are expected to serve as a strategic reference in mitigating financial integrity crises in Islamic educational institutions in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to gather empirical evidence on how civil servant morality, misconduct reporting systems, and internal control systems influence the prevention of fraud in village fund management, with situational leadership style as a moderating variable. This study took a quantitative approach, using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The sample included 329 village officials from Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province, who were chosen using a multistage sampling process. The findings revealed that while whistleblowing had no substantial influence on fraud prevention, village officials' morality and internal control systems did. Although internal control mechanisms had a smaller influence on fraud prevention, situational leadership styles boosted the effectiveness of whistleblowing. This study underlined the need of moral integrity, effective internal control, and flexible leadership styles in preventing fraud in village fund management.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan menuntut guru dan siswa memiliki kemampuan literasi digital yang kuat, khususnya dalam penggunaan e-learning sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pendampingan penggunaan e-learning interaktif bagi 15 guru dan 40 siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Susukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam mengakses, mengolah, serta memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran digital. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui tahap observasi awal, pelatihan penggunaan platform e-learning interaktif, pendampingan praktik, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor sebesar 34,4 poin pada guru (dari 48,2 menjadi 82,6) dan 31,4 poin pada siswa (dari 48,7 menjadi 80,1) pada skala 0-100. Terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman guru dan siswa terhadap berbagai fitur e-learning, seperti pembuatan kelas virtual, penyampaian materi interaktif, pemberian tugas, dan evaluasi berbasis online. Selain itu, peserta mengalami peningkatan literasi digital terkait kemampuan mengakses informasi, mengelola data, serta menggunakan teknologi untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar, dengan 90% guru dan 85% siswa menyatakan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan kemandirian belajar. Secara keseluruhan, program pendampingan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru dan siswa serta memperkuat penerapan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di sekolah.

Abstract

The fulfillment of health services by a country can be measured through the ratio of hospital beds per 1,000 population. The World Health Organization (WHO) sets a standard of 1 bed per 1,000 population, while the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) recommends an ideal ratio of 4.7 beds per 1,000 population. Hospitals, as healthcare providers, possess potential in the form of resources, management processes, and healthcare service products that must be of high quality and aligned with community needs to remain competitive. Maternity services are provided across various healthcare facilities, ranging from primary care to referral services equipped with basic and comprehensive emergency obstetric and neonatal care (BEmONC and CEmONC). This study aims to analyze factors associated with inpatient choice decisions at RS Syariah Ridhoka Salma, West Cikarang. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed to all inpatients, both online and in person. The results indicate that promotion, location, and service quality are significantly associated with inpatient choice decisions, while healthcare facilities show no significant association.

Abstract

This study aims to map the development of research in forensic accounting and fraud detection over the past two decades, covering the period from 2002 to 2024, through a bibliometric approach applied to 202 documents obtained from the Scopus database. Using RStudio and Biblioshiny, the study identifies publication trends, thematic developments, and patterns of international collaboration. The results reveal a significant upward trend in publications, with an average annual growth rate of 15.76%, reflecting the growing academic interest in fraud-related research. The United States emerged as the dominant contributor with strong domestic publication output, while international collaboration remained relatively limited. The most frequently appearing themes include “fraud,” “crime,” and “computer crime,” whereas topics such as “computer forensics” and “law-related legislation” remain underexplored but present promising opportunities for future research. The motivation behind this study lies in the increasing digital risks, global financial complexity, and the need for accountability and transparency in detecting and preventing fraudulent practices. This research contributes to the literature by providing a structured overview of the thematic landscape, identifying research gaps, and encouraging the expansion of multidisciplinary and cross-country collaboration. However, the study is limited to Scopus-indexed publications, excluding other databases such as Web of Science and Google Scholar, which may restrict the comprehensiveness of the findings. The implications highlight the importance of integrating bibliometric and qualitative approaches to gain a deeper understanding of forensic accounting’s evolving role in fraud prevention. Overall, the study underscores the strategic importance of forensic accounting as a global discipline that bridges financial integrity, legal compliance, and digital resilience.

This article analyzes the satirical meaning in The Israel Dream, a song by Mushtofa Al-Mumri, using Schleiermacher’s hermeneutic approach. Although the song appears to support Zionist narratives, it actually delivers sharp criticism against an oppressive ideology that positions the Islamic world as the primary nemesis of the Greater Israel project. The study aims to uncover how linguistic structures and symbolism in the lyrics convey hidden messages filled with socio-political critique. A qualitative descriptive method is used, applying both grammatical and psychological interpretation to examine the text and the composer’s intent. The findings reveal that the lyrics employ irony, metaphor, and narrative impersonation to deconstruct Zionist propaganda from a fabricated internal voice, awakening listeners to its underlying dangers. The song is not merely an artistic expression, but also serves as a form of cultural resistance and spiritual consciousness. This study affirms that music can be a powerful reflective medium in opposing hegemony especially when that hegemony frames Islam as its ideological nemesis.
