Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan strategi pembelajaran etnopedagogi Melayu Riau dalam konteks materi bagian-bagian tubuh tumbuhan di tingkat sekolah dasar. Bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendekatan ini terhadap pemahaman siswa, penelitian ini menerapkan pengembangan modul pengajaran yang terintegrasi dengan budaya lokal dan praktik pengajaran di kelas. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif yang menganalisis hasil belajar siswa melalui pertanyaan sumatif dan permainan tanya jawab setelah proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memperoleh nilai tinggi, tetapi sebagian kecil masih mengalami kesulitan, termasuk dalam mengenali spesies tumbuhan lokal. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun etnopedagogi memiliki potensi positif, penerapannya memerlukan perhatian yang lebih dalam pada konteks budaya siswa dan strategi untuk menjembatani kesenjangan pengetahuan mereka tentang lingkungan lokal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi budaya dalam pembelajaran IPA perlu terus dieksplorasi dan disempurnakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa secara holistik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran komunitas belajar dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dan kualitas pengajaran di SD Negeri 168 Pekanbaru. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 29 pendidik. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang kuat (r = 0,707, p < 0,01) antara peran komunitas belajar dan kompetensi pedagogis guru. Komunitas belajar terbukti efektif dalam membangun nilai dan visi bersama, meskipun masih ada ruang untuk perbaikan dalam aspek kerja tim kolaboratif, praktik pengembangan kooperatif, dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Hasil ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan kolaboratif yang mendukung pertumbuhan profesional guru, yang sejalan dengan prinsip "Tri Pusat Pendidikan" Ki Hajar Dewantara. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa berinvestasi dalam komunitas belajar yang efektif dapat menjadi strategi yang berharga untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis guru, yang berpotensi mengarah pada peningkatan kualitas pengajaran dan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematical reasoning ability of students and the lack of students' knowledge about local wisdom around them. In addition, teachers also find it difficult to create teaching materials that can increase student motivation and mathematical reasoning abilities. This study aims to produce valid, practical, and effective teaching materials to improve elementary school students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This study uses research and development. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model or Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The subjects of the study were fourth grade students of SDN 035 Taraibangun. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and tests. The data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the geometry teaching materials based on the ethnomatics of Kampar Malay culture have met the criteria of very valid, very practical, and effective in improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities in elementary schools.

Abstract

Assessment is a step to measure students’ learning outcomes. This paper discusses the teachers’ perception and understanding of how to carry out assessments in the Merdeka Curriculum. This paper also uses a qualitative descriptive survey research method with four stages; preparation, data collection, data analysis, and conclusions. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews. The samples of the research are teachers from Penggerak School throughout Riau Province with a total population of 23 teachers. The data obtained are analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results indicate that the implementation of the assessment in the Merdeka Curriculum, which consisted of diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, is conducted by the teacher after the learning process is completed. Students’ learning outcomes are obtained from their knowledge, attitudes, and skills during learning activities. The student’s learning outcomes are presented in a school report based on the Merdeka Curriculum school report application. Thus, the teachers overall understand and have conducted the assessments that are required in the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Science education at the elementary school level has an important role in shaping scientific thinking and improving students' understanding of natural concepts, one of which is the human respiratory system. In this case, the lungs become organ vital Which worthy introduced through method interesting and applicable learning. This study aims to describe how the understanding of fifth grade students of SDN 188 Pekanbaru can be improved through project-based experiments on how the lungs work. This experimental method is designed with an active and contextual learning approach, where students are directly involved in the process of making a lung model using simple tools and materials. The results show that student involvement in experiment based on project capable increase enthusiasm learning and conceptual understanding significantly. In addition, this activity also trains critical thinking skills, teamwork, and scientific communication. These findings underscore the importance of integrating a project-based experimental approach in learning Science. Through activity This, Teacher No only teach theory, but also provide meaningful learning experiences that can improve students' overall learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study illustrates the meaning of learning based on Malay ethnopedagogy through the integration of the Tepuk Tepung Tawar tradition into the topic of human growth and development in the Science subject for Grade V of Elementary School in Pekanbaru. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collection techniques including observation, classroom discussions, field notes, and student worksheets (LKPD). The results of the study show that the implementation of the Tepuk Tepung Tawar tradition in learning has a positive impact on students’ holistic understanding, covering biological, social, and spiritual aspects. Students were able to connect scientific concepts with cultural experiences, showed increased enthusiasm, and gained an understanding of values such as mutual cooperation, natural balance, and spirituality. These findings affirm that culture-based learning can enhance engagement, deepen the meaning of the material, and holistically shape students' character.

Abstract

This research is research and development aimed at developing Nearpod-based learning media regarding the planets in the solar system for elementary schools. This research uses a 4D development model, there are define, design, development and dissemination. This research was conducted on sixth grade students at SDN 194 Pekanbaru in the term of 2023/2024. The data collection techniques used were interview sheets, validation and practicality questionnaires. The data analysis technique used were descriptive qualitative analysis which is used to analyze data in the form of suggestions and input provided by expert validators from media suitability validation sheets. The results from the media validity test show that this media is categorized as very valid with a score 89.48%. This media development said to be very valid seen criteria from the product, material and language aspects. After conducting small group trials to see the practicality of the media developed, it can be concluded that this media is very good with a score of 90.5% obtained from teacher and student responses. From the validity and practicality results, it can be concluded that Nearpod-based media regarding the planets in the solar system in elementary schools is declared valid and very practical.

Abstract

The development of science and technology is developing so rapidly that teachers have to keep abreast of technological developments in learning. This study aims to develop a product in the form of interactive media articulating contextual-based storylines on ecosystem material for fifth-grade students that is valid and practice. This type of research is research and development which is carried out through the ADDIE model. The research stages of the ADDIE model include Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The main technique in this study is the validity and practicality analysis of interactive media. The data is then processed through quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the assessment of the validity of the interactive media are obtained with an average value of 76% which is in the valid category. The results of the teacher's practicality assessment show an average score of 80% which is in the practical category. Assessment of the value of practicality by students is obtained with an average value of 89.9% in the very practical category. Based on the results of this study, the product of this research development in the form of contextual-based articulate storyline interactive media on ecosystem material for fifth-grade students was declared to have met the validity and practicality categories so that this product could be used by teachers and students in classroom learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a big book learning media on the theme of growth and development of living things sub-theme 1 which is valid and practical for third grade elementary school students. This research is research and development, and the researcher applies the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The learning media developed was validated by 2 media experts. To test the practicality, the researcher distributed questionnaires to teachers and students. The data in this study were obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and student learning outcomes in the form of LKPD. The data obtained were then analyzed quantitatively and descriptively. The learning media developed was very valid with an average score of 87.03% and included in the very practical category with an average score of 93.05% from teachers and 90.55% from students. Student learning outcomes in the form of LKPD with an average score of 83.33%. Therefore, the big book learning media with the theme of growth and development of living things in sub-theme 1 can be used by elementary school students and teachers.

Abstract

The research aims to know teachers’ social competences based on the educator certificate. The research method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative method. The data-collection technique used was a questionnaire technique. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive analysis. Teachers’ social competences based on educator certificates in general have a good category. This corresponds with teachers’ social competence indicators of being inclusive and objective, adapting to the assigned environment, effective communication and good manners in communication.
