Abstract: This research aims to explore the application of technology in career guidance services and its impact on high school students' career maturity through a literature study. Information was collected from various research databases such as ScienceDirect, PubMed, and Google Scholar using appropriate keywords. Qualitative methods are used, with a focus on collecting descriptive data to understand the individual as a whole. The results show that the application of technology, such as the internet and computer-based systems, has the potential to increase students' career maturity through wider access to career information and a more interactive and flexible guidance approach. Digital platforms also allow students to get more accurate information regarding career choices and developments in the world of work. However, research also identifies challenges such as technology infrastructure gaps in various schools and a lack of digital skills among guidance and counseling teachers and counselors that hinder technology optimization. In conclusion, the application of technology in career guidance can strengthen these services and support increasing student career maturity if accompanied by effective preparation, training and collaboration from various related parties.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan teknologi informasi dalam layanan bimbingan karir serta dampaknya terhadap kematangan karir siswa SMA melalui studi literatur. Informasi dikumpulkan dari berbagai basis data penelitian seperti ScienceDirect, PubMed, dan Google Scholar dengan menggunakan kata kunci yang sesuai. Metode kualitatif digunakan, dengan fokus pada pengumpulan data deskriptif untuk memahami individu secara menyeluruh. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi, seperti internet dan sistem berbasis komputer, memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa melalui akses informasi karir yang lebih luas serta pendekatan bimbingan yang lebih interaktif dan fleksibel. Platform digital juga memungkinkan siswa mendapatkan informasi yang lebih akurat terkait pilihan karir dan perkembangan dunia kerja. Namun, penelitian juga mengidentifikasi tantangan seperti kesenjangan infrastruktur teknologi di berbagai sekolah dan kurangnya keterampilan digital di kalangan guru BK dan konselor yang menghambat optimalisasi teknologi. Kesimpulannya, penerapan teknologi dalam bimbingan karir dapat memperkuat layanan tersebut dan mendukung peningkatan kematangan karir siswa jika disertai persiapan, pelatihan, dan kolaborasi yang efektif dari berbagai pihak terkait.

This community service aims to explore student career maturity through structured group guidance activities. This service is focused on developing self-awareness, understanding career options, developing decision-making skills, and long-term career planning. This service method uses Participatory Action Research (PAR) involving 12 Padang State University guidance and counseling students as active participants in each stage of activity, namely diagnosis of problems and/or needs, action planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this research-based service explore career maturity which developed significantly in various aspects of career maturity after participating in group guidance activities. Aspects of career maturity are developing rapidly, including; self-understanding, career information, effective decision-making abilities, and more mature career planning. Apart from that, students admit that their self-confidence and readiness to face future career challenges are increasingly optimal. This service program to assist students' career maturity through group guidance is worthy of implementation. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kematangan karir siswa melalui kegiatan bimbingan kelompok yang terstruktur. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada pengembangan kesadaran diri, pemahaman tentang pilihan karir, pengembangan keterampilan pengambilan keputusan, dan perencanaan karir jangka panjang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan 12 mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling Universitas Negeri Padang sebagai peserta aktif di setiap tahap kegiatan, yaitu diagnosis masalah dan/atau kebutuhan, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian berbasis penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kematangan karir yang berkembang secara signifikan dalam berbagai aspek setelah mengikuti kegiatan bimbingan kelompok. Aspek-aspek kematangan karir yang berkembang pesat meliputi pemahaman diri, informasi karir, kemampuan pengambilan keputusan yang efektif, dan perencanaan karir yang lebih matang. Selain itu, siswa mengakui bahwa kepercayaan diri dan kesiapan mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan karir di masa depan semakin optimal. The increasing number of college graduates each year causes tighter competition in the world of work. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and career planning of Islamic Guidance Counseling Students of Class 20 K UIN Suska Riau.The population in this study was 211 students. For the sample using purposive sampling method totaling 13 people, while to determine the relationship between the basic variable (x) and the dependent variable (y), the Product Moment Correlation test method was used, obtained a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.947 based on the results of product moment correlation analysis p=0.000 (p<0.01) which means that there is a very significant positive relationship between self-concept and career planning. based on the amount of correlation value in the product moment interpretation table 0.800-1.000 shows a very strong correlation category.

Traunt behavior is a negative bahavior in students that does not reflect the meaning of life, where the meaning of life is characterized by positive attitude and behaviors aimed at the future. The meaning of life is an individual condition that lives positively and passion to achieve the goal set. This paper aims to describe the concepts of the meaning of life, aspects of the meaning of life, factors of the meaning of life, and it’s relation to traunt student behavior. The method used the study literature, and data analysis technique use is by observation and interviews. The result of the discussion aimed that traunt students had a low meaningful life. This show that the meaning of life is very important for students to have a good behavior aimed at their future. The provision of counseling services by guidance and counseling teachers in school can help students to have the meaning of life.

Self-control is the ability to rule out or change responses in a person, as well as eliminate unwanted problems and refrain from doing anything necessary for adolescent in using smartphones. Self-control of adolescent in using smartphones in this study is viewed from aspects of self-discipline, deliberate / non-impulsive, healthy habits, work ethic and reliability. This study aims to describe self-control of adolescents in using smartphone. This research is a descriptive analytic study, with a sample of 246 adolescents at SMAN 2 Padang obtained using propotional stratified random sampling technique. The study used a questionnaire instrument complied using a likert scale mode. The results of this study indicate that self-control of adolescent in using smartphones is generally appropriate in the high category. This needs to be corrected and improved in order to avoid the negative effects of using a smartphone.

This research aims to conduct a literature review related to effective strategies in career guidance and counseling. The research method chosen in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection was carried out by documenting and reviewing all articles related to effective strategies in career guidance and counseling in the period 2020-2024. The articles used in this study were 12 accredited national journal articles obtained from the Google Scholar database using the Publish or Perish application. Based on this research, it is found that there are various strategies applied in career guidance and counseling services. These strategies include the application of theories such as Holland and Trait-and-Factor, modeling technique-based approaches, self-management, group counseling, and the use of interactive digital media. Each strategy contributes significantly to students' career development, both in terms of decision-making maturity, career motivation, and life skills that are relevant to the needs of the world of work.

Expressive writing activities are one of the approaches that can be an alternative in helping to solve the problems of learning difficulties faced by students. In order to gain a better understanding of this, it is necessary to conduct a study to understand the extent of the usefulness of expressive writing activities. The purpose of this study is to review the application of expressive writing activities in helping to solve learning difficulties. Furthermore, systematic literature review research was applied using the PRISMA method to fulfill the research objectives. Data collection was done through digital tracking from a reliable source, Google Scholar. After the tracking and selection process, 11 studies were collected that discussed expressive writing activities and learning difficulties. It was found that expressive writing is one of the alternative activities to help solve various learning difficulties.

Di era digital, transformasi teknologi telah memengaruhi berbagai aspek pelayanan pendidikan, termasuk Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepuasan konselor sekolah di Kabupaten Solok Selatan terhadap implementasi Alat Ungkap Masalah Berbasis Website, serta menganalisis perbedaan kepuasan berdasarkan faktor usia, jenis kelamin, lokasi sekolah, jenjang pendidikan, dan status pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan sampel konselor dari berbagai sekolah di Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas konselor merasa sangat puas dengan alat digital tersebut, meskipun terdapat sedikit variasi dalam kepuasan di beberapa kategori, seperti konselor di sekolah pinggiran kota serta yang berstatus honorer dan kontrak. Temuan ini menyarankan perlunya peningkatan dukungan teknologi dan pelatihan yang lebih intensif, terutama bagi konselor di wilayah atau status pekerjaan dengan tingkat kepuasan yang lebih rendah. Implikasinya, data yang dikumpulkan dapat dijadikan dasar untuk perencanaan strategis dalam pengembangan pelayanan digital BK di masa mendatang.

Perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi membawa berbagai perubahan pada keilmuan bimbingan dan konseling. Adanya perubahan ini memerlukan inovasi dalam proses asesmen yang dilakukan terhadap siswa. Fenomena di lapangan guru BK masih menggunakan metode manual dan belum memanfaatkan teknologi secara optimal. Berdasarkan hal demikian maka dilakukan pengabdian pelatihan e-sosiometri sebagai need assessment tools. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan terhadap guru BK yang tergabung di MGBK Tingkat SLTP Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dalam rangka mewadahi guru BK dalam penggunaan need assessment berbasis teknologi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis stataistik deskriptif dengan menggunakan software analisis Jeffreys's Amazing Statistics Program (JASP). Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa peserta mendapatkan manfaat dan aplikasi pada pengabdian ini dan sangat bermanfaat bagi guru BK dalam pelaksanaan studi kebutuhan terhadap siswa.

Abstract: The background of this study is the phenomenon of self-harm carried out by junior high school students to vent the emotional feelings felt due to the rapid changes in the process of adolescent self-development. This study aims to describe the tendency of self-harm behavior in students as reviewed from the types of major self-mutilation, stereotypic self-injury, and moderate self-mutilation. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population in this study amounted to 4,399 students. Sampling was carried out using the Cluster Random Sampling method with a total sample of 370 students. The results showed that the average overall self-harm behavior reached a score of 61 (36.93%), indicating that the level of self-harm behavior tendency carried out by students in several junior high schools in Padang City was relatively very low. The forms of self-harm behavior carried out by students as reviewed from the type of major self-mutilation include reckless driving and ignoring the dose of medication consumed (overdose). In the type of stereotypic self-injury, the tendency of self-harm behavior carried out is hitting the chest and banging the head against the wall as an outlet for the emotions felt. While in the moderate self-mutilation type, students generally intentionally hurt themselves by scratching themselves and cutting their body parts. Based on the results of this study, counselors can provide assistance in the form of individual counseling services, as well as group counseling services in order to reduce the tendency of self-harm behavior.
