Abstract

In recent years, online lending services have become a popular alternative for people who need quick funds. However, this ease of access is often accompanied by high risks, such as high interest rates and pressure to repay loans immediately. This study aims to identify and analyze the impact of using online loans on family psychosocial conditions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method that produces descriptive data in the form of oral and written information from books and journals or information from informants. The results show that the use of online loans has a negative impact on the family's psychosocial condition, including increased stress, mental disorders, decreased physical health and the possibility of deteriorating relationships between family members. Informants also reported mental health problems such as anxiety and depression due to financial pressures. The findings indicate the need for interventions and education on financial management as well as increased regulation of online lending services to protect the psychosocial well-being of families.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam memahami materi inflasi melalui pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) pada kelas XI E-2 SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Strategi pembelajaran CRT diintegrasikan dengan nilai-nilai budaya lokal Minang dan Melayu yang dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, guna meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman terhadap konsep ekonomi yang diajarkan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi langsung, catatan lapangan, dan refleksi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi belajar siswa, ditandai dengan meningkatnya partisipasi dalam diskusi kelas, antusiasme terhadap materi pembelajaran, serta kemampuan siswa mengaitkan materi inflasi dengan konteks budaya mereka. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran yang responsif secara budaya efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang relevan dan bermakna, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan ekonomi di tingkat menengah.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that has a high risk of causing serious complications if not controlled. Education and early screening are needed to increase community awareness and understanding of this disease. This activity aims to improve the knowledge of the Gemawang Hamlet community about hypertension and encourage early detection behavior through blood pressure checks. The methods applied included interactive health education sessions, filling out pre-post-test questionnaires, and blood pressure screening for 58 participants. The results showed that 56.9% of the participants had high blood pressure, and only 22 individuals were aware of the symptoms of hypertension. This activity affectively enhanced public knowledge and served as a preventive effort against complications related to hypertension.

Abstract

Background: The Emergency Unit is the starting point for emergency patients who need first aid. Entering the emergency room can cause anxiety in patients. The anxiety felt by patients can worsen the patient's condition while the patient is receiving treatment. Aims: To identify the relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and patient anxiety levels in the emergency room. Method: Quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach, as many as 40 respondents through purposive sampling, anxiety level questionnaire using the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale - 21 (DASS-21). Data analysis using Spearman Rank correlation. Result: The majority of respondents had mild anxiety as many as 13 people (32.5%). There is a significant relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and patient anxiety levels (p value <0.005), with a correlation coefficient of -0.975. This value shows a very strong and negative relationship between therapeutic communication and anxiety levels. the better the therapeutic communication provided by nurses, the lower the patient's anxiety level tends to be. Discussion: Therapeutic communication by nurses plays an important role in reducing patient anxiety. Empathetic, clear, and supportive communication can help patients feel calmer and safer in emergency situations. Therapeutic communication training for nurses in the ER needs to be improved as part of efforts to improve the quality of care and patient comfort.

Abstract

Sinar Mulya Restaurant is one of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in the food and beverage service sector in Pekanbaru City. In today’s digital era, the ability of business owners to manage finances efficiently through digital accounting and to understand technology is a crucial factor in enhancing competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the role of digital accounting and digital literacy in the development of MSME Sinar Mulya Restaurant in Pekanbaru. This research uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews and literature review. The results show that the implementation of digital accounting can simplify transaction recording, financial reporting, and improve the accuracy and reliability of financial information. Meanwhile, digital literacy skills help optimize the use of technology in business operations. However, challenges such as limited technological understanding and lack of training remain major obstacles in the digital transformation process of MSMEs.

Abstract

Ada banyak hal yang merusak ekosistem, tetapi salah satu yang paling signifikan adalah sampah plastik. Sebaliknya, plastik sangat penting bagi banyak aspek kehidupan manusia sehingga mencari cara untuk mengurangi sampah plastik menjadi perjuangan tahunan. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk menemukan solusi sederhana dan praktis untuk masalah sampah plastik menggunakan ecobrick. Tujuan ecobrick bukanlah untuk membakar sampah plastik, melainkan untuk mendapatkan kembali bahan yang dapat digunakan melalui daur ulang dan pemrosesan. Karena ecobrick sepenuhnya terbuat dari plastik daur ulang, pembuatannya murah dan mudah. ​​Desa Sidokepung RT 37 RW 07 berharap dapat menemukan cara untuk memanfaatkan sampah plastik yang belum diolah menjadi ecobrick. One of the several things harming ecosystems is plastic trash.  At the same time, plastics serve a variety of human needs, making annual plastic waste management challenges more daunting.  This project aims to tackle plastic waste using ecobricks, a simple and practical solution.  Ecobricks aren't meant to obliterate plastic trash, but rather to recycle it and turn it into something useful. Making ecobricks also does not require special skills and does not cost anything at all, because it uses household plastic waste as the main ingredient. It is hoped that with the processing of making ecobricks, Sidokepung Village RT 37 RW 07 can utilize plastic waste that has not been processed into a product of utility value.

Abstract

This study discusses Islamic business ethics towards the behavior of affiliate actors in promotion on TikTok. The purpose of this study is to determine how the behavior of affiliate actors in promotion on TikTok and how Islamic business ethics towards the behavior of affiliate actors in promotion. This study includes field research with a qualitative approach, the data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study include 3 affiliates, namely A. Siti Patimah, Syakila Safitri, and Sulviana, the object of this study is Islamic business ethics in the promotional activities of affiliate actors on TikTok. The data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that (1) In conducting promotions, the three affiliates prioritize the authenticity of the content used, as well as in product selection, they tend to be selective and have certain considerations to ensure that the promoted product does not harm the audience, while in delivering information, they prioritize clarity & appropriateness of information, they also apply special strategies to support the progress of their affiliates. (2) The behavior of the three affiliates shows compliance with the principles of Islamic business ethics. In this case, siddiq is shown by the use of original promotional content, amanah is shown by responsibility in product selection, tabligh is shown by the delivery of clear and appropriate information, and fathonah is shown by the application of smart promotional strategies.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: ISPA merupakan infeksi saluran pernafasan akut yang ditandai dengan adanya demam, batuk, pilek, sakit tenggorokan dan hidung tersumbat. Perlu dilakukan penelitian bahwa apakah hasil pijat bayi dengan aroma terapi peppermint dapat menyembuhkan gejala ISPA. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan namun di WHO belum pernah dilakukan pijat bayi dengan aroma terapi peppermint untuk gejala ISPA. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk melihat apakah ada pengaruh terhadap gejala ISPA sebelum dan sesudah intervensi Hasil : Diketahui sebelum dilakukan pijat bayi dengan aroma terapi peppermint rata rata balita mengalami ISPA ringan, setelah dilakukan pijat bayi dengan aroma terapi peppermint ternyata hasilnya menunjukkan hal yang signifikan dari 10 responden yaitu 80 % terjadi penyembuhan dan 20 % tidak mengalami penyembuhan Kesimpulan : Ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perlakuan pijat bayi dengan aroma terapi peppermint terhadap gejala ISPA pada balita, dengan nilai p=0,000 (α=0,05). Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa perlakuan pijat bayi dengan aroma terapi peppermint terbukti efektif dalam mempercepat penyembuhan ISPA pada balita. Saran : Menambah informasi dan mengaplikasikannya dalam mengatasi gejala ISPA sehingga Masyarakat serta petugas Kesehatan dapat mengetahui Teknik dan tata cara yang benar dalam melakukan pijat bayi dengan aroma terapi peppermint terhadap gejala ISPA.

Abstract

Character is something that exists in each individual who is formed in the family environment since childhood. However, character also exists in each individual from birth. Good character can be formed through education, one of which is through character education in schools. To make it happen, it can be done by instilling character values in students. One of the characters that must be formed from an early age is the character that cares for the environment. The formation of a caring character for the environment can be started from the school environment by keeping the school clean. By getting used to students protecting the school environment, students will care about the environment around them. Programs that are usually carried out in schools have elements of K3 (cleanliness, beauty, neatness), including pickets together in classrooms and in the school environment as well as learning to care for plants and take care of them. This program aims to strengthen and increase awareness activities of students in schools in order to keep the environment clean and take care of the surrounding plants. Because with a clean school environment, it will make students and teachers comfortable in carrying out teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Purpose: Using data from a multi-stakeholder project in Cameroon, this paper investigates the direct and interactive effects of training and skills development, market access facilitation and business advisory services on the performance of women entrepreneur.Method: They employed a quantitative cross-sectional design and collected data via a structured questionnaire, adjusted from validated measures from earlier studies. Data were analysed using IBM SPSS 26 and analysed by multiple regression for direct effects and the PROCESS macro for moderation effects.Findings: Each of the three BDS components has significant positive impact-performance effects on entrepreneurs, with training and skills development rated as the most impactful of the three BDS components. Managerial support very significantly moderates all relationships suggesting that strong team leadership engagement enhances the value derived from BDS interventions.Novelty: Using the Resource-Based View and Capability Theory, this study provides unique empirical insight into the interplay of managerial support in maximizing the impact of BDS on women-led MSMEs. Answering a fundamental question that has been missing in previous studies, it examines the relationship between external service delivery and internal leadership capacity.Implications: Results highlight the need for combining leadership development with BDS in order to increase impacts. Fifth, policymakers and practitioners should focus on a multi-faceted approach to align incentives through external levers with capability-building efforts to promote sustainable growth in MSMEs.
