Abstract

Our study focused on unveiling the tropical red algae Gracilaria spp. Active-peptide materials from the central region of Java Island, Indonesia. We described the protein isolation, hydrolysis, purification, and method to test its potency against pathogen Staphylococcus aureus IFO 12576 and Eschericia coli IFO 3301, followed by molecular docking analysis. TCA/acetone precipitation was used to isolate Gracilaria spp. proteins, and the hydrolysis was  done by trypsin digestion with an effective yield to provide antibacterial activity. The disk diffusion method showed promising inhibition and continued with a confirmation test using microdilution, which implied bacteriostatic inhibition with  a minimum concentration of 40 µg/ml, from one potent fraction. Further characterizations were conducted using a proteomic approach. LC-HRMS was used for peptide sequencing in the potent fraction with prospective peptides identified along with its physical properties. Molecular docking simulations  were used to investigate the degree of interactions using binding affinities score (kcal/mol), with the target of receptor DraE adhesin subunit (2JKJ) of Escherichia coli binds chloramphenicol. We proposed the interactions model of peptides GP1 and GP4 against targeted peptides. Our model GP4.1 and GP4.2 model (VVINADAK) were found to have high binding affinities with the energy score of -10,6 and -10,8 kcal/mol, respectively  by the different sites of binding than chloramphenicol succinate.

Abstract

Based on observations in Class 5C SD Labschool UNNES, researchers found several problems, namely the lack of understanding of students in recognizing various musical instruments, the lack of active participation of students in learning music, and the learning methods used by teachers are less communicative. This study aims to describe the application of learning to recognize various kinds of musical instruments with the PjBL model assisted by Flipbook Media in learning Music Art in grade V Elementary School. The focus of this research is: (1) Knowing the Kinds of Musical Instruments (2) Steps of the PjBL learning model (3) Flipbook. The approach in this research is qualitative research, while the object of research is Music Learning The subjects of this research are: (1) learning activities to recognize various kinds of musical instruments using the PjBL model assisted by Flipbook. (2) class V C students. (3) Class V C teachers. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, LKPD work, and making projects by students. Data processing was carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that students' learning understanding in recognizing various musical instruments using the PjBL learning model assisted by Flipbook increased. Based on these results, the use of the PjBL learning model assisted by Flipbook has an effect on understanding the kinds of musical instruments of grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

In today's global era, the demand for professionalism and discipline in law enforcement is increasing, so the Police Academy plays a vital role in instilling kebhayangkaraan values to form cadets who can face security challenges with discipline, integrity, ethics, and strong leadership. This study profoundly analyses how the parenting management model instils the main kebhayangkaraan character in the discipline character. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, where data are obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results showed that parenting with a structured schedule and consistent enforcement of rules succeeded in instilling discipline in cadets. Intensive physical exercise, discipline classes, and character-building sessions significantly improve cadets' discipline and mental endurance. Periodic evaluations and feedback from cadets help improve parenting programs continuously. In conclusion, holistic and integrated parenting management effectively instils disciplinary character in Level I Cadets of the Police Academy.

Abstract

In this digital era, technological developments are developing rapidly and all sectors, including education, must also follow developments in this digital era. Currently, education in Indonesia applies the Merdeka curriculum, in this curriculum the content of science and social studies learning is combined into one to become science learning content, the content of science learning in elementary schools is one of the most important lessons. The science and science learning content encourages students to be more active and have critical reasoning. However, in the field, researchers found problems related to the learning media used by teachers, which had an impact on low student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SDN Ngadem because researchers found problems in learning science and science in class IV which caused students' grades in that class to be relatively low. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental type design. Specifically, using a pre-test and post-test design with one group. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The aim of this research is to measure the effectiveness of using interactive multimedia based on Google Sites in science learning. The research results, which can be seen in Table 2, show that the post-test score (89.14) is higher than the pre-test score (66.72). The N-gain score obtained shows that the increase in student learning achievement is in the medium category, with an N-gain value of 67. The conclusion of this research is that interactive multimedia based on Google Sites has a positive influence on student learning outcomes in class IV of SDN Ngadem, and thus , it can be said that the use of interactive multimedia is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study was conducted to provide an overview and description of improving narrative text literacy by using the reading aloud method as one way to improve and strengthen students' narrative text literacy skills in the AKM class. The approach taken in this writing is to use a quantitative approach, namely by obtaining pre-test and post-test data processed using SPSS data, namely the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of this study indicate that a reading culture by reading aloud can have an influence on improving students' narrative text literacy at Ketanggungan 07 Brebes Elementary School. Students' enthusiasm in understanding narrative texts with this method is quite good. This is evidenced by an increase in the AKM class from data processing, the data obtained is p <0.05, H0 is rejected which indicates that there is a significant increase.

Abstract

Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk menganalisis serta mengetahui pengaruh antar variabel Keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, supervisi akademik, serta budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain penelitian Ex-Post Facto dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan guru SD Kecamatan Suradadi Kabupaten Tegal. Sampel yang diambil adalah 60 Guru dengan menggunakan stratified random sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi berganda yang telah dilakukan variabel keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah nilai signifikansi (0,027 < 0,05), variabel supervisi akademik nilai signifikansi (0,034 < 0,05), variabel budaya sekolah nilai signifikansi (0,028 < 0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara variabel keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, supervisi akademik, budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat disimpulkan adalah keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, supervisi akademik, dan budaya sekolah saling mempengaruhi dan meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dan staf terkait pelaksanaan tugas pokok dan fungsinya.

Abstract

The 21st-century skills are critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills. These skills are needed by someone to be successful in facing challenges, an increasingly complex and uncertain life, and to be successful in life and career in the world of work. This study aims to analyze critical and creative thinking skills in terms of the inquiry component in science learning in elementary schools. The research sample is elementary school students, with a total of 31 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The experimental research method used in this research is quasi-experimental. Quasi-experimental is used so that researchers can analyze the differences between the two treatments in the control class and the experimental class. The research design used was a non-equivalent control group design. The results of the analysis of critical and creative thinking skills for the control class inquiry model were 45.3% and 54.7%. In comparison, the experimental class obtained 65.5%, so the influence of the inquiry model on experimental class students is greater than the control class. The inquiry model has a positive effect on critical and creative thinking skills. With this research, the inquiry model can improve the critical thinking skills and creative thinking of fifth-grade elementary school students in science learning.

Abstract

Abstract Parent’s profile is important in early childhood development. The purposes this research were to analyze acorrelation 1) parents’ understanding with PjBL; 2) parents’ understanding with PjBL in view of parents’ age 3) parents’ expectation with PjBL; 4) parents’ expectation with PjBL in view of parents’ age; 5) parents’ understanding and expectation with PjBL; 6) parents’ understanding and expectation with PjBL in view of parents’ education status. Quantitative method used in this research.The results of this research: 1) There is a correlation between parents’ understanding with project based learning with value 0,531; 2) There is a correlation between parents’ understanding with project based learning in view of parents’ age with value 0,532; 3) There is a correlation between parents’ expectation with  PjBL with value 0,513; 4) There is a correlation between parents’ expectation with project based learning in view of parents’ age with value 0,510; 5) There is a correlation between parents’ understanding and expectation with PjBL with value 0,668; 6) There is a correlation between parents’ understanding and expectation with PjBL in view of parents’ education status with value 0,794. The conclusion of this research was profile influenced project based learning in kindergarten.   Abstrak Profil orang tua penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan 1) pemahaman dengan PjBL; 2) pemahaman dengan PjBL ditinjau dari usia orang tua; 3) harapan orang tuadengan PjBL; 4) harapan orang tua dengan PjBL ditinjau dari usia orang tua; 5) pemahaman dan harapan orang tua dengan PjBL; 6) pemahaman dan harapan orang PjBL ditinjau dari status pendidikan orang tua. Abstract

The love for one's country is increasingly being degraded among young people in the contemporary era due to students' lack of extensive knowledge and understanding of national culture. This correlates with students' learning and sense of nationalism which is starting to disappear due to developments over time and the impact of westernization. The research conducted by researchers used a qualitative research approach design with a case study method. This research chose the Elementary School at Makkah Indonesian School for grade 4 students as the research location because the school consists of heterogeneous student conditions with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. From the research carried out, it can be concluded that the Makkah Indonesian School already understands the description and objectives regarding Pancasila values education, the principal and teachers have planned the implementation of Pancasila values education, and the realization of Pancasila values education has been seen. implemented optimally, and in the evaluation of Pancasila values education at the Makkah Indonesian School, there are still at least not very significant obstacles Keywords: Pancasila, Education, Mecca Indonesian School

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa sejak dini. Pendidikan Pancasila di sekolah dasar memiliki peran strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter yang sesuai dengan falsafah bangsa Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Pendidikan Pancasila dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar melalui kajian literatur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber akademik yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dapat dikembangkan melalui pendekatan kontekstual, pembelajaran berbasis nilai, serta keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam kegiatan yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Selain itu, tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar antara lain kurangnya kesiapan guru, keterbatasan media pembelajaran, serta kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan sosial siswa. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini menegaskan bahwa Pendidikan Pancasila memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berintegritas, berempati, dan bertanggung jawab. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih efektif dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar.a. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini menegaskan bahwa Pendidikan Pancasila memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berintegritas, berempati, dan bertanggung jawab. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih efektif dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar.
