Abstract

Setiap tahun, diperkirakan sebanyak 20% populasi dunia mengalami nyeri. Berdasarkan penelitian pada tahun 2012 di Amerika, setiap harinya terdapat sebanyak 86,6 juta jiwa orang dewasa yang mengalami nyeri akut dan sebanyak 25,5 juta jiwa mengalami nyeri kronis. Terapi menggunakan obat-obatan adalah salah satu upaya yang dapat mengurangi atau mengatasi nyeri. Obat anti inflamasi non-steroid (OAINS) merupakan salah satu obat yang paling sering digunakan dalam tatalaksana nyeri. Penggunaan OAINS yang kurang tepat akan menimbulkan banyak efek samping yang dapat berpotensi berakibat fatal dan justru dapat membuat seseorang mengalami masalah medis akibat efek samping yang lebih berat dibandingkan dengan masalah medis utamanya. Penulisan artikel review ini dimaksudkan untuk melihat pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat dalam penggunaan OAINS terhadap rasionalitas penggunaannya secara swamedikasi di beberapa populasi masyarakat dengan metode studi literatur yang diambil dari berbagai jurnal nasional maupun internasional. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur tersebut didapatkan hasil bahwa tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat dalam penggunaan OAINS secara swamedikasi memiliki hubungan dengan rasionalitas penggunaannya. Kata Kunci: OAINS, Tatalaksana Nyeri, Pengetahuan, Efek Samping, Swamedikasi  It is estimated that 20% of the world's population experience pain every year. Based on American research in 2012, there are 86.6 million adults who experience acute pain every day and as many as 25.5 million people experience chronic pain. Drugs therapy is one of the efforts that can reduce or overcome pain. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are one of the most commonly used drugs in pain management. Inappropriate use of NSAIDs will cause many side effects that can be potentially fatal and can actually make a person experience medical problems due to side effects that are more severe than the main medical problem. This review article was written to see the effect of the level of public knowledge in the use of NSAIDs on the rationality of their use by self-medication in several population groups using the literature study method taken from various national and international journals. Based on the results of the literature study, it was found that the level of public knowledge in the use of NSAIDs independently has a relationship with the rationality of their use.

Abstract

COVID-19 disease has spread around the world. Some events progress to acute respiratory distress syndrome or more severe forms of the disease leading to death. Pregnant women with COVID-19 are known to have a high risk of being admitted to the ICU. An increase in premature births is still observed in cases of complications caused by COVID-19. Vaccination is done to stimulate the body to form antibodies specific to the virus. However, the side effects of this vaccination need to be tested, especially its safety for pregnant and lactating women. The purpose of writing this article is to determine the safety of several types of COVID-19 vaccinations for pregnant women and nursing mothers. The method used is a literature study of previous research2. The results of this literature study found that the type of vaccination that is recommended for pregnant and lactating women is Sinovac.

Abstract

Many people use the livestock industry, especially chicken farming, where raising chickens has many benefits, namely being able to produce eggs and meat. The existence of IoT allows communication of all objects via the internet, this can be used to simplify the process of feeding livestock chickens. The method used is the prototype method where prototyping is the first step in developing software or systems, namely having the stages of Needs Analysis, Rapid Design, Building a Prototype, Evaluation of Initial Use, Improving the Prototype, Implementation, and Maintenance. This research aims to build a feeding system with Internet of Things-based automation to maximize feeding and minimize obstacles in providing animal feed to improve the quality of livestock products. Development of Smart Automatic Feed: This Internet of Things (IoT)-based Automatic Feeding System for Chicken Farmers can provide feed via a mobile application and automatically on a scheduled basis and can also monitor the status of feed supplies.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of coffee farmers in utilizing biomass waste into biochar as an effort to mitigate and adapt to climate change. The activity was carried out at the Mekar Ayu Farmers Group, one of the Arabica coffee producing farmer groups in Central Aceh Regency with 25 members. The implementation method included socialization about the concept and benefits of biochar for soil and plants, training in making biochar using agricultural waste materials (coffee skins and sawdust), and mentoring in applying biochar to coffee fields. The results of the activity showed that participants understood the function of biochar in increasing soil fertility, improving soil structure, and increasing water absorption efficiency. In addition, farmers were able to produce biochar independently using simple, environmentally friendly technology. This activity contributed to increasing the capacity of farmers in dealing with the impacts of climate change and supporting sustainable coffee farming.
