Abstract

Ketersedian material beton di Merauke cukup sulit sehingga harus didatangkan dari luar Merauke yang mengakibatkan harganya menjadi mahal. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dilakukan pengujian dengan menggunakan material lokal yang dicampurkan dengan bahan tambah admixture beton mix berguna untuk meningkatkan kekuatan beton dan untuk workability. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan mortar dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar perbandingan kekuatan kuat tekan mortar normal dengan mortar yang menggunakan bahan tambah beton mix. Pengujian mortar normal dan mortar dengan presentasi bahan tambah kimia beton mix menggunakan presentasi 1%; 1,5%; 2% dengan metode eksperimental yang dilakukan menggunakan perbandingan campuran mortar 1 semen : 1,5 pasir. Agregat halus (pasir) lokal yang digunakan berasal dari kampung Kumaaf Distrik Ulilin. Berdasarkan analisa perhitungan hasil pengujian kuat tekan mortar normal pada umur 28 hari sebesar fc‘= 13,21 MPa. Hasil uji kuat tekan mortar (fc‘) penggunaan bahan tambah Admixture beton mix pada umur 28 hari dengan presentasi 1%; 1,5%; 2% diperoleh nilai masing-masing sebesar 22,27 MPa, 26,04 MPa, 26,80 MPa dengan peningkatan kuat tekan masing-masing sebesar 40,69%; 14,48% dan 2,84%. Kenaikan signifikan terjadi pada penambahan bahan tambah beton mix 1% dimana pada umur mortar dengan penambahan beton mix 14 hari melebihi kuat tekan mortar normal dengan umur 28 hari. Abstract

Adanya pembangunan infrastruktur diatas tanah yang daya dukungnya rendah mengakibatkan terjadinya penurunan yang besar dan pergerakan lateral. Berbagai metode telah dikembangkan untuk mengatasai masalah-masalah tersebut, terutama metode dengan pemanfaatan limbah. Oleh karena itu penulis ingin mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan anyaman limbah botol plastik pada tanah yang memiliki daya dukung rendah dengan menggunakan metode penelitian experimental. Pengujian dilakukan dengan melihat deformasi yang terjadi pada tanah lunak tanpa perkuatan dan diberi perkuatan menggunakan anyaman botol plastik lapis 1 dan lapis 2. Dari hasil pengujian deformasi pada tanah yang tidak diberi perkuatan dengan beban sebesar 4 kN deformasi yang terjadi adalah 45,5 mm, sedangkan yang diberi perkuatan menggunakan anyaman botol plastik lapis 1 dan lapis 2 dengan beban yang sama sebesar 4 kN adalah 41,60 mm dan 38,20 mm, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tanah yang diberi perkuatan anyaman botol plastik lapis 1 mengalami peningkatan kekuatan sebesar 9,38% dan untuk anyaman lapis 2 sebesar 19,11 % terhadap deformasi vertikal yang terjadi. Dilihat dari pola deformasi yang terjadi maka hasil permodelan ini termasuk dalam pola keruntuhan geser lokal.

Abstract

This article is the result of field research, qualitative with a study approach on class IV students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Fithrah Balongpanggang Gresik. The data was collected from interviews, observations, and document tracing. The results show that: the teacher's strategy in creating fun learning is to involve children directly in teaching, emphasizing increasing learning motivation, using interesting and varied learning methods, using play strategies while learning or ice breaking.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the role of edupreneurship in training children's independence. This study describes the strategies undertaken to stimulate children's independence values through several entrepreneurial activities such as market day activities, cooking classes and work bazaars.Design/methods/approach – This research method is qualitative descriptive. The research subject is the principal, an early childhood education class teacher in Batu Karang who implements edupreneur day. This research was conducted in Batu Karang Village. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation to obtain in-depth information. The type of interview chosen was semi-structured. Conclusions are obtained from the results of data analysis with three stages reduction, data display and then conclusion. Test the validity of the data is done through source and technique triangulation.Findings – The study found that many children were still less orderly, disciplined and dared to carry out activities independently. This research shows the role of edupreneurship in stimulating independence from an early age through entrepreneurial activities.Research implications/limitations – Market day activities have implications for training children from an early age to be independent so that the child's perspective will rise to become an entrepreneur. This study has limitations in learning early childhood education in rural areas that are not promoted independently, so the activities carried out are not monitored.Practical implications – This study implies that edupreneurship in training early childhood independence can be done through market day activities.Originality/value – This study contributes to understanding teachers and education parties utilizing entrepreneurial activities to foster an independent spirit for entrepreneurship and building the economy. Abstract

Tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum) are one of the widely cultivated crops consumed by people worldwide, including Indonesia. Tomato farming often faces various challenges that result in reduced tomato productivity. One of the challenges is the presence of diseases that affect tomatoes, leading to crop failure for farmers. Some important diseases that commonly affect tomato plants include Fusarium wilt and anthracnose. Most farmer use chemical fungicides to control the diseases. These methods have greater negative impacts on both plants and the surrounding environment. One alternative control technique that can be used is the use of biological agents with antagonistic properties, such as Trichoderma sp. and Gliocladium sp. This research aims to assess antagonistic abilities of endophytic fungi Trichoderma sp. and Gliocladium sp. againts the pathogens responsible for suppresing the growth of these disease-causing phatogens in tomato plants. in the Laboratory of Plant Pest and Disease Science, OECF Building, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Mulawarman. The experiment was designed using a completely randomized single-factor design with four treatments and five replications. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance and the least significant difference test at a 5% significance level. The research results indicate that the antagonistic tests of Trichoderma sp. and Gliocladium sp. in vitro significantly differ againts the pathogenic fungi Fusarium sp. and Colletotrichum sp. Furthermore, it was found that the antagonistic fungus Gliocladium sp. is the best fungus capable of suppressing the growth of important pathogenic fungi in tomato plants.Keyword: Gliocladium sp., Trichoderma sp., Fusarium sp., Colletotrichum sp. and Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)

Abstract

The significant transformation of the 5.0 era presents challenges and opportunities, especially in the world of education. On the other hand, innovation in the development of information and technology requires adaptation, one of which is through emotional intelligence from an early age. The environment around children has an important role in developing children's emotional intelligence, both in the school environment and at home around children. The purpose of this study is to examine the application of developing children's emotional intelligence through prophetic parenting with an epistemological perspective at the Muslimat NU 001 Ponorogo Kindergarten. This research uses a type of qualitative method through a field study approach, with data collection techniques including three stages, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The research sources consist of two subjects, namely primary sources including the results of field data and theories from books, as well as secondary sources from articles supporting this research. The analysis technique of the results of this study shows that the application of emotional intelligence in children includes seven characteristics of prophetic parenting, namely showing role models, finding the right time to give direction, being fair and equalizing gifts, fulfilling children's rights, buying children toys or rewards, helping children do obedience and filial piety, and not being angry and reproaching children. These activities are carried out through habituation and direction of children during learning hours and outside of learning, as well as monthly parenting activities with student guardians. This is in line with the point of view of epistemological philosophy which explains the origin, process, results and direction of knowledge as well as the concepts of “existence” and “existence” in education. The development of emotional intelligence through prophetic parenting at TK Muslimat NU 001 Ponorogo is very effective, systematic and recommended by the author as a reference for educators or parents in introducing and teaching emotional intelligence based on the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

The process of learning that involves listening comprehension aids pupils in comprehending the subject or lesson being covered. The goal of this study is to learn more about the challenges that children have with reading comprehension. based on the observations made by the researcher during fieldwork (PPL). When listening to audio content, some pupils experience difficulty. This research use qualitative method and the data was gathered by questionnaire. According to the analysis of students difficulties listening comprehension, listening is an extremely challenging skill for language learners. The factors that affected their listening were the phsyical environment, the listener factor, and the listening content. Therefore, the English Education main issues with students accent, pronunciation, speech rate, vocabulary and diverse speaker accents were combined with a lack of focus and poor recording quality. Understanding students challenges can motivate effective learning strategies to help students improve their listening skills. It also suggested remedies to the challenges, such as the teacher adapting and improving listening material, activating students vocabulary, providing a diversity of accents while practicing listening in a language laboratory, and improving their pronunciation through instruction from native speakers. The study findings may be valuable to people who are interested the topic.Keyword : Listening, Difficulties

Abstract

This research aims to find out the levels of difficulty faced by tenth-grade students at Senior High School 8 Muaro Jambi in using simple past tense within narrative texts. The research used a quantitative descriptive research design with purposive sampling. 28 students from class XE 4 were taken as participants. The researcher used a test as an instrument. The findings reveal that the students fall into 4 categories: Very Poor, Poor, Moderate, and Good levels. 13 students in the "Very Poor" level, and 10 students in the “Poor” level. It indicates difficulties in using simple past tense. Students performed better in answering Regular verb questions than Irregular ones. The mean score that obtained is 26.43. The standard deviation is 18.72, indicating a relatively high degree of variability. The highest score obtained is 62.5, the lowest is 0. The spread of scores suggests a wide range of individual differences, suggesting heterogeneity in performance within the sample.Keywords: Level of difficulty, narrative text, simple past tense

Abstract

The main problem of this research are the Understanding and Mastering English Vocabulary of student while learning, especialy at school. The aim of this study is to find the student capabilities and the determination of student in Vocabulary, especialy in the absent of class directly at school while Covid-19 Lockdown few years back. The researcher will use field research as a method of inquiry, observation and survey aswell. Research participants are 52 students who’s In Tenth Grade. From these, the finding are most of the student had a problem with the Environment or Surrounding of their learning area, while the rest had a problem with the Learning progress. Based on these, the Student had a trouble in learning while at school because their classmate, the task from other subject, and short hour to study English in class or while at home because of their homework from other subject, helping chores around the house as well as they need some breaktime from school since morning. Even more so while on Covid-19 few years back these student had to study at their home and most of the time the teacher explaining the materiel for a bit before throwing a homework or task for them to do. And while studying process it’s not effective example like because of the lack of direct communication, noisy surrounding, not enough sufficient device for said learning class, and the list still going on. As the result those years of direct learning and leap of class, carried away until they are now in Tenth Grade. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana etika kristen sebagaimana yang tertulis dalam Roma 12:10 dapat menjadi acuan dalam dalam bermedia sosial, sehingga tidak menghasilkan efek negatif, tetapi justru mampu memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi semua yang terlibat dalam penggunaan media sosial. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif, khususnya studi pustaka dan eksegesis terhadap Roma 12:10. Dari penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan dengan temuan bahwa orang-orang kristen harus mempergunakan kasih dan sikap saling mendahului dalam memberi hormat sebagai dasar nilai-nilai etis yang harus dipraktikkan dalam bermedia sosial. Dengan mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai tersebut, maka akan dihasilkan penggunaan media sosial yang sehat, yang tidak menimbulkan dampak negatif, tetapi justru menghasilkan sesuatu yang positif.
