Abstract

The coastal area is currently a trending spot for tourists who want to enjoy a vacation. Even now travelers are hunting for beach tourism as a diving spot for holidays, including the coast of the Tomini Bay area. Most of the Tomini Bay area is a tourist destination for local and international tourists. However, unfortunately the charm of beach tourism in the Tomini Bay area has not been broadcast nationally or internationally, either in the form of image documentation or cinematic infographics. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to empower the community in edutourism through English language training and tourism promotion, the beach care movement, and the accessibility of tourism promotion through digital-based and bilingual cinematic infographics (virtual tour). This program is used as an initial step to form a tourism awareness group (POKDARWIS) for the Botubarani community as a form of continuing the program to strengthen the community's economy so that it is not swallowed up by the masses. This program will later form self-help and self-help groups that grow from, by and for the community as a destination for village tourism development, especially the Tomini Bay area. It is hoped that this program will be the first step to deliver Botubarani village as a tourist destination not only on a national scale, but also on an international scale.

Abstract

Mangrove reforestation is often carried out in various regions or regions, but information about the relationship of environmental factors and the distribution of fauna associations is still very minimal. The Principal Component Analysis (PCA) study on the correlation of environmental factors and the spatial distribution of the molusks community in the Seribu Islands mangrove reforestation area was conducted in March 2014 with the aim of analyzing environmental factors for the diversity and presence of the molusks. Environmental factors are measured insecurely, while the moluccan community is collected by making line transects and plots measuring 10 x 10 m2 and in the size of 10 x 10 m2, a small plot of 1 x 1 m2 is made. The results of the study show that environmental factors are not so different between stations and do not exceed the quality standard for the lives of 4 species of mollusks, where the parameters of aquatic pH are the environmental factors that most influence their distribution. Keywords: environmental factors, distribution, mollusks community, mangrove reforestation, Seribu Islands

Abstract

Multivariate analyses such as clusters and nMDS are frequently used to facilitate in the interpretation of environmental data. In contrast, the community structure of plant vegetation is immensely useful in describing the ecology of an ecosystem. In September 2021, studies on the mangrove community structure of Bagan Serdang Village were conducted using cluster analysis and nMDS. It proposes to use cluster analysis and nMDS to determine the structure of the mangrove community. Mangrove vegetation was collected by pulling quadrant transects perpendicular to the shoreline, and the data was analyzed using clusters and nMDS. The diversity of mangroves in Bagan Serdang Village was identified as 5 species with 4 families, with mangrove distribution classified as occasional (average relative frequency of 20,00%). Avicennia lanata dominates the front zone, Rhizophora apiculata dominates the middle zone, and R. mucronata dominates the back zone. The mangrove density ranges from 22,22 to 1222,22 ind/ha, and the INP ranges from 9,64 to 231,78%, with the vegetation density in the front and middle zones forming one group that shows nearly the same density conditions. Furthermore, for the INP, the front and middle zone vegetation formed a group with species that played an important role which were A. lanata and R. apiculata, while species that played an important role in the rear zone were R. mucronata, E. agallocha, and X. granatum. Furthermore, the basal area of the mangrove vegetation in Bagan Serdang Village ranges from 278,22 to 654,35 m2/ha, with the basal area of the vegetation zones front and back having nearly the same maturity level, forming a single group. This study reveals the presence of a mixed mangrove species composition with different mangrove maturity developments. The data presented in this study will be the baseline for mangrove management in Bagan Serdang Village and conservation efforts in North Sumatra Province and Indonesia.

Abstract

Doxing refers to the act of spreading a person's private information into the public digital sphere without consent, potentially leading to psychological distress, damage to reputation, and even physical threats. This issue has intensified with the rise of social media usage and inadequate privacy protections within Indonesia's digital environment. The legal framework governing privacy protection must be reoriented to address this challenge more comprehensively and adaptively. This study aims to explore how Indonesian laws currently regulate doxing and evaluate the effectiveness of the existing legal framework in safeguarding the privacy and self-esteem of victims. Employing a normative juridical method with a legislative approach, this research is also supported by conceptual analysis of legal doctrines. The study finds that legal protections against doxing are fragmented across various regulations, such as the ITE Law, the Personal Data Protection Law, and ministerial regulations concerning electronic systems, yet there is no explicit law that specifically addresses doxing. As a result, law enforcement often struggles to classify doxing as a specific criminal offense. The legal politics of Indonesia have been reactive, failing to meet the comprehensive needs of victims, both in terms of law enforcement and dignity restoration. This paper concludes by advocating for a more progressive, participatory, and victim-oriented legal framework, with explicit regulations on doxing that incorporate human rights-based personal data protection and mechanisms to support victims.
