Abstract

This study analyzes the role of the Education Management Information System (Education MIS) in improving educational quality at SDIT Aziziyyah, Pekanbaru. The research addresses the empirical gap regarding integrated implementation of Education MIS in Islamic primary schools, particularly in supporting operational efficiency, instructional monitoring, and data-driven decision making. A descriptive qualitative case study was conducted, collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation, and validated through source triangulation. Findings indicate that Education MIS significantly improves administrative efficiency, real-time student achievement monitoring, transparency for parents, and data-based managerial decision-making. This study extends previous research by showing that Education MIS also supports pedagogical practices, learning evaluation, and school-parent collaboration. The study highlights that integrated Education MIS is a strategic tool for transforming management in Islamic primary schools, with cloud-based development recommended for system sustainability

Abstract

This study aims to determine the reproductive biology of the pennywort (Centella asiatica). The methods used were observation and experiments conducted in Kediri Village, West Lombok Regency. The results indicate that Centella asiatica can reproduce both generatively and vegetatively. Generative reproduction occurs through flower formation, pollination, and seed formation, but is not the primary method of reproduction. Vegetative reproduction occurs through stolons, which grow creeping and form new individuals at each node, making them more dominant due to their speed and efficiency. Thus, this reproductive ability demonstrates Centella asiatica's high adaptability to the environment.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap tentang: (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran, komunikasi pembelajaran dan disiplin pembelajaran dalam menghadapi perbedaan perilaku siswa kelas V B; (2) Taktik guru mengelola pembelajaran dalam menghadapi perbedaan perilaku siswa kelas V B ; (3) Faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku siswa kelas V B. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran, komunikasi pembelajaran dan disiplin pembelajaran yaitu dengan memahami kurikulum, bahan ajar, menyusun, melaksanakan, menilai program pengajaran dan hasil belajar. Komunikasi dengan model komunikasi mekanistik, interaksional, psikologis dan pragmatis. Disiplin belajar dengan menggunakan disiplin preventif, korektif dan progresif. (2) Taktik guru mengelola pembelajaran dalam menghadapi perbedaan perilaku siswa yaitu penggunaan media proyektor dan manual, permainan (tik tak tu, botol flip, tipex roll, spidol roll), simulasi, diskusi, sesi evaluasi. Karakteristik yang digunakan secara terencana, sesuai konteks, fokus interaksi guru dan siswa, integrasi pengalaman belajar, pemberian kesempatan berfikir kritis, berorientasi pada tujuan pembelajaran dan diiringi sistem pembelajaran point. (3) Faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku siswa yaitu terdapat faktor internal (nature, kognitif, afektif, dan konasi) dan faktor eksternal (nurture dan norma). Abstract

Biodiversity in tropical regions requires proper documentation to support conservation and research. One important medicinal plant is pennywort (Centella asiatica), which grows in humid environments and has various pharmacological benefits. This study aims to describe the techniques of collection and preservation of Centella asiatica in the form of a dry herbarium. The research used observational and experimental methods conducted in Turida Village, Sandubaya District, Mataram City. Data were collected through field observation, direct sampling, and documentation of the herbarium process. The results showed that collection was carried out through site selection, morphological identification, complete sampling, field data recording, and temporary storage. Preservation was conducted through cleaning, arranging, pressing, drying, mounting, labeling, and storing specimens. The success of herbarium preparation is influenced by environmental, biological, and technical factors. The herbarium produced can be used as a medium for biodiversity documentation and as a reference for further research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the bioecology of the Tamanu plant (Calophyllum inophyllum) on Kuranji Beach, West Lombok Regency. The method used was direct observation by measuring soil temperature, soil pH, and soil moisture in the plant's habitat. The results showed that the soil temperature was 35°C, soil pH 6.7, and soil moisture 1.8, indicating dry conditions. These conditions reflect the characteristics of coastal environments with high temperatures and low water availability. Soil temperature plays a role in plant metabolic activity, soil pH affects nutrient availability, while soil moisture is the main limiting factor in growth. Nevertheless, nyamplung is able to adapt well to these conditions so it can still grow in coastal environments.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) the problems faced by teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at the elementary school (SD/MI) level; (2) the factors influencing these problems; and (3) the efforts made by teachers to overcome such challenges. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, which involves collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant literature such as books, journals, and other academic publications related to the research topic. The findings indicate that: (1) the main problems faced by teachers include limited experience with independent learning concepts, insufficient teaching preparation, negative student perceptions toward certain subjects, inappropriate teaching methods, and inadequate learning media; (2) the influencing factors consist of school management quality, availability of learning resources, teaching strategies and methods, parental support, learning systems, relevance of teaching materials, and teacher competence; and (3) teachers’ efforts to address these challenges include improving educational qualifications, participating in training and mentoring programs (especially in information technology), enhancing teaching experience, increasing access to learning resources and media, adapting teaching methods to students’ needs and local contexts, implementing project-based and differentiated learning, strengthening pedagogical competence, optimizing human resources and facilities, fostering collaboration among teachers, increasing student participation, applying interactive and creative teaching methods, involving parents more actively, utilizing varied and technology-based learning media, and strengthening collaboration with communities, government, educational institutions, and industry. These findings highlight the importance of comprehensive support and continuous professional development for teachers to ensure the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The increasing integration of digital technologies in higher education requires a better understanding of the academic and psychological factors that encourage students to adopt technology in learning. This study investigates the influence of class discussion, communication skills, motivation, and student satisfaction on technology use in higher education. A quantitative survey design was employed, involving 317 undergraduate students from two universities in Indonesia selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The findings reveal that communication skills significantly influence motivation, student satisfaction, and technology use, while class discussion significantly enhances motivation and student satisfaction but does not directly affect technology use. Motivation positively influences student satisfaction but shows no significant direct effect on technology use. Student satisfaction emerges as the strongest predictor of technology use, indicating that positive learning experiences encourage students to engage more actively with digital learning technologies. The structural model demonstrates high explanatory and predictive power, supported by substantial R² and Q² values. These findings suggest that higher education institutions should strengthen interactive classroom practices, develop students’ communication competencies, and foster satisfying learning experiences to promote effective technology adoption. This study contributes to the growing body of educational technology literature by highlighting student satisfaction as a central mechanism linking classroom interaction and communication with technology use in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the Qur'anic teaching at Rumah Tahfidz Al Fatihah, Talang Jambe, Palembang City, contributes to shaping and developing the character of students in spiritual, intellectual, social, and moral aspects. The Qur'anic learning method implemented focuses not only on memorization but also on moral development, discipline, and habitual worship. This qualitative research uses a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the Qur'anic teaching at Rumah Tahfidz Al Fatihah enhances students’ spiritual awareness, personal responsibility, and social skills. Regular recitation, memorization, review (murojaah), and the internalization of Qur’anic values are fundamental in holistically shaping students' character.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of academic procrastination behavior among students, such as delaying the completion of school assignments. One factor assumed to be related to this behavior is hardiness, which refers to an individual’s ability to cope with pressure and challenges positively. This study aimed to determine the relationship between hardiness and academic procrastination among students at SMAN 56 Jakarta. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample consisted of 72 students from grades X and XI at SMAN 56 Jakarta selected using cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected using hardiness and academic procrastination questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used was Spearman’s rho correlation test. The results showed that students’ hardiness levels were categorized as fairly good, while academic procrastination behavior was still found among some students. Based on the hypothesis testing, the significance value obtained was 0.412 ( > 0,05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.098. The findings indicate that there is no significant relationship between hardiness and academic procrastination among students at SMAN 56 Jakarta. Therefore, hardiness was not the main factor influencing academic procrastination in this study. Academic procrastination is assumed to be influenced more by other factors, such as self-regulation, time management, learning motivation, and self-control.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the effect of the Treffinger Learning model assisted by the Wordwall application on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students at SMA N 1 Air Batu. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a Two Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was  the entire tenth grade, consisting of five classes. The sample consisted of two classes (Xth-1 and Xth-2) selected using cluster random sampling. Xth-1 class served as the control class using the conventional learning model, while Xth-2 class served as the control class using the Treffinger Learning model. After the instruction is completed, a posttest is conducted, showing the average results for the experimental 53,793 and control classes 40,459. The t-test results tcount = 8,057>ttable=2,003 so Ho is rejected and H1 accepted, indicating the influence of the Treffinger Learning model assisted by the Wordwall application on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students at SMA N 1 Air Batu.
