Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study examines the story of Prophet Musa in Q.S. Al-Baqarah 67–71 through Angelika Neuwirth’s intertextuality perspective, connecting it to Prophet Muhammad's preaching in Medina. The narrative emphasizes obedience, sincerity, and patience, which are essential for fostering multicultural societies. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytic approach, this research explores the interplay between Qur'anic narratives and other religious traditions, such as Judaism. The findings reveal that the command to sacrifice a cow conveys profound universal moral messages, such as the importance of compliance and sincerity in religious practices. These values are mirrored in Prophet Muhammad’s wisdom-, dialogue-, and empathy-based preaching strategies, particularly in addressing Medina's diverse community. This study contributes to Qur'anic studies by offering an intertextual perspective and practical guidance for contemporary Islamic preaching strategies that prioritize inclusivity and contextual relevance. Abstract

Improving people's financial literacy using m-banking is crucial in today's digital era, where around 70% of Indonesians still have a low level of financial literacy. This research focuses on Bank Mandiri Surabaya Branch, where more than 60% of customers do not fully understand the use of digital banking services, especially m-banking. This community service activity aims to improve customers' understanding of m-banking and its benefits in financial management. Using training modules and hands-on demonstrations, participants were taught how to download applications, conduct transactions, and understand important features in m-banking. Results showed that the education significantly improved customers' understanding and confidence in using the m-banking application. Participants reported an increased interest in applying the new knowledge in their daily financial management. This program not only contributes to the improvement of individual financial literacy but also promotes broader financial inclusion in the community. Thus, this activity confirms the importance of structured and practical education to improve financial literacy and utilize digital banking technology effectively.

Abstract

The uses of metonymy in Arabic rhetoric are very numerous. One of the purposes of using them is strength in meaning. Our saying: So-and-so is generous is less powerful in meaning than our saying: So-and-so has many ashes. Metaphors have been used a lot in the Holy Qur’an, and the use of body parts in metonymy was for many purposes in the Qur’an. These metaphors were chosen in a way that gives wonderful artistic implications consistent with the context in which the verses appear. In the research, metonymy was known, and some of its sections were discussed. Then, the research was divided according to the members. In which metonymies were used, and the use of those metonymies indicated a precise miracle, it is not possible for the truth or even any other metaphor to fulfill the intended meaning contained in the context of the verses. This research is an attempt to complete the efforts of the predecessors in showing the evidence of the endless Qur’anic miracle and its endless secrets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak indikator rasio keuangan terhadap profitabilitas bank umum syariah di Indonesia.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis data kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data rasio keuangan dari bank umum syariah di Indonesia. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi atau teknik analisis statistik lainnya untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara rasio keuangan tertentu dan profitabilitas.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa beberapa indikator rasio keuangan, seperti likuiditas, efisiensi, dan solvabilitas, memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap profitabilitas bank umum syariah di Indonesia. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi hubungan ini, seperti kondisi pasar dan kebijakan industri.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya monitoring dan pengelolaan rasio keuangan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan profitabilitas bank umum syariah. Implikasi praktisnya adalah perlunya strategi manajemen keuangan yang baik dan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kinerja keuangan bank-bank tersebut.

Abstract

Allah mentions in one of His words, namely QS. Al-Isra/17: 70 that humans are given advantages over all the creatures that Allah created on this earth, among which humans generally have good physique, the ability to think, freedom of will and knowledge, but not many people have If you want to think about His Word, nowadays it is very easy to find a number of people saying inappropriate words towards each other, especially regarding someone's physical appearance or appearance. This term is known as body shaming, which is an act of physical shaming, an appearance that makes the person feel insecure about their physical appearance. The problem discussed in this research is regarding body shaming verses and the effectiveness of these interpretations in contemporary reality. Meanwhile, this type of research is included in the type of library research, namely by reading and reviewing a number of literature related to the research problem, then processing it and drawing out the common threads. The interpretation method in this research is the mawdhu'iy method which was popularized by Al-Farmawi. The conclusion from the results of this research is a general description of body shaming which consists of the definition, causes and impacts. Then it was added with an introduction to Tafsir Al-Mishbah which was accompanied by its interpretation of several verses, including the QS. al-Hujurat/49: 11, QS. at-Taubah/9: 79, QS. al-Humazah/104:1 and QS. al-Hijr/15:11, from a number of interpretations these are then implicated in contemporary reality. A number of meanings were found in Quraish Shihab's interpretation, including the loss of human feeling in protecting one's word, the loss of a sense of equality, and the loss of human values.

Abstract

Studying mahārah al-kalām, or Arabic speaking skills, is fundamental to the Arabic department curriculum. Effective instructional communication between teachers and lecturers is crucial for successful learning outcomes. This study utilizes a mixed-method approach combining quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to assess the effectiveness of instructional communication in mahārah al-kalām at Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia. The findings reveal a high level of effectiveness in instructional communication, with an overall score of 90.36%. The primary factors influencing the effectiveness of instructional communication include the lecturer's credibility, which encompasses expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness. This study contributes to the field of Arabic language education by emphasizing the importance of effective instructional communication in enhancing mahārah al-kalām learning outcomes. The results provide valuable insights for Arabic language educators, offering a basis for developing strategies to improve teacher-student interactions. For future research, exploring additional competencies, such as cultural and linguistic aspects, is recommended to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of mahārah al-kalām instruction. By addressing these areas, educators can foster a richer and more effective learning environment, contributing to the overall quality of Arabic language education.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the effectiveness of Trello in improving communication and collaboration enhance quality of service within a service company. The study will use a qualitative approach to collect and analyze data. Qualitative data will be collected through interviews with the CEO and Employee of Kotak Narsis, while the financial report 2020-2023 and the number of problems encountered will be used as secondary sources of data. The qualitative data from the interviews will be analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key themes and patterns in the data. Based on the results of the interviews, it appears that Trello can be an effective solution to the problems faced by the company, mainly poor quality of service. The company also found that the quality of the company's photobooth selfie box service improved, as evidenced by the reduced number of customer complaints.

Abstract

Sistem perpipaan merupakan sebuah sistem yang dipakai untuk melaksanakan transportasi fluida kerja antara peralatan (equipment) pada sebuah pabrik (plant) atau dari sebuah lokasi ke lokasi lain hingga rangkaian produksi berlangsung. Kehilangan energi pada sistem perpipaan di kondisi kenyataannya banyak diakibatkan penggunaan sambungan, perubahan pada diameter, percabangan aliran serta perubahan pada arah aliran di pipa. Penelitian ini bermaksud agar mengetahui kecepatan serta kehilangan energi yang ada di saluran pipa dari setiap jenis pipa. Metode yang dipakai adalah metode kuantitatif yakni bisa dilakukan penghitungan atau diukur secara langsung yang tuliskan memakai angka ataupun bilangan. Waktu penelitian di bulan April 2024. Hasil analisa kecepatan pada aliran yang paling kecil ada di pipa plastik 26,5 mm yaitu 0,90909 dan kecepatan aliran air yang terbesar terdapat pada pipa kaca halus dengan diameter 6,5 mm yaitu 3,33333 dan kehilangan energi yang paling kecil terdapat pada pipa plastik PVC yang diameter 26,5 mm yaitu 0,0383 dan kehilangan energi yang terbesar terdapat pada pipa kaca halus dengan diameter 6,5 mm yaitu 2,3893. Disarankan pengambilan data yang lebih teliti lagi agar persentase kesalahan kehilangan energi semakin kecil.

Abstract

Surat wasiat merupakan instrumen penting yang memungkinkan penerima waris untuk mewarisi harta peninggalan pewaris. Dalam proses pembuatan akta wasiat, Notaris memiliki kewajiban yang harus dipenuhi; kegagalan untuk memenuhi kewajiban ini dapat berujung pada tuntutan hukum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tanggung jawab Notaris atas kelalaiannya dalam pembuatan akta wasiat di Indonesia. Penggunaan pendekatan yuridis normatif pada penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis peraturan perundang-undangan yang relevan serta praktik Notaris terkait akta wasiat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelalaian Notaris dalam pembuatan akta wasiat dapat mengakibatkan cacat hukum, yang berimplikasi pada sanksi perdata maupun pidana. Pihak yang dirugikan akibat kecacatan akta dapat menuntut ganti rugi dan menjatuhkan sanksi pada Notaris berdasarkan ketentuan Undang-Undang Jabatan Notaris atau KUHPerdata. Abstract

The study aims to find out women's role in supporting their family's economy at Batu Bangga Sub District, Kolaka Regency. Data were collected through interviews and literary study. Data were then analyzed descriptively and presented through tabulations and x2 analysis. The results showed that economically active housewives had more economic activities (63,64%) bearing 3-4 people. While, economically in-active housewives, most of them had many more people under their responsibility (66,67%) of five or more. This indicated that there was close relationship between people under responsibility with the levels of their involvement in various economic activities. As proved by the chi-square count of 19.867 larger that chi square table with freedom degree 4 and 0.05 significant level of 9.488.
