Abstract

The study of human personality as presented in the Qur’an is of notable importance, given its rich intersection between theological concepts and psychological insights in shaping personal character. In today’s world, where moral degradation, increased psychological distress, and spiritual emptiness are increasingly prevalent, there exists a visible dissonance between the ideal human nature (fitrah) and the behavioral patterns observable in modern society. This research seeks to delve into how the Qur’an defines the essential qualities and innate potential of human beings, to identify foundational values that support the development of character, and to analyze their relevance in addressing ethical and psychological concerns in the contemporary context. Employing a qualitative methodology, the study is based on library research and thematic analysis of selected Qur’anic verses that highlight notions of human character, devotion, and leadership. The results reveal that the Qur’an characterizes humans as beings naturally equipped with reason, free will, and a moral compass, capable of fulfilling their dual function as devoted servants of God (‘abd) and responsible stewards of the earth (khalifah). Core Qur’anic values such as perseverance, truthfulness, reliance on God (tawakkul), justice, gratitude, and sincerity are shown to be more than ethical principles—they also support psychological strength and mental stability. The harmony between theological doctrines and psychological wisdom in the Qur’an contributes to a holistic model of human personality, fostering spiritual-mental balance and resilience in facing the complexities of contemporary life.

Abstract

Islamophobia is a global issue, leading to discrimination, violence, and hatred against Muslims in the Netherlands. In response to this, the Special Branch of Nahdlatul Ulama of the Netherlands (PCINU of the Netherlands) is among the Indonesian diaspora campaigning for the moderation of “Islam Nusantara” through multi-track diplomacy fiqh, a holistic approach emphasizing interdependence in politics, economics, and socio-culture. This paper discusses the  multi-track  diplomacy  fiqh  of  PCINU  of  the  Netherlands  in  fighting against Islamophobia in the country. As a non-governmental socio-religious organization, PCINU of Netherlands play a role and strategy in assisting the diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in spreading  the  “Islam Nusantara”  idea  to  counter  Islamophobia.  This  article is  based  on  empirical  research  with  fiqh  al-siyāsah and maqāṣid  al-sharī’ah analysis.  This  study  finds  that,  in  countering  Islamophobia,  PCINU  of  the Netherlands  uses  a  multi-track  diplomacy  strategy  that  successfully  spreads friendly, anti-terror, tolerant and moderate Islam. Even though PCINU has not  fully  employed  all  Multi-track  fields,  it  has  successfully  encountered islamophobia and promoted peaceful Islam through Islam Nusantara.Keywords: multi-track Diplomacy Fiqh; Moderation; Islamophobia; Islam Nusantara; world peace AbstrakIslamofobia  menjadi  isu  global  yang  menimbulkan  diskriminasi, kekerasan,  dan  kebencian  terhadap  Muslim,  termasuk  di  Belanda.  Dalam merespons  hal  ini,  Pengurus  Cabang  Istimewa  Nahdlatul  Ulama  Belanda (PCINU  Belanda)  sebagai  diaspora  Indonesia  mengampanyekan  moderasi Islam  Nusantara  melalui  fikih  diplomasi  multitrack. Tulisan ini mendalami strategi  fikih  diplomasi  PCINU  Belanda  dalam  memerangi  Islamofobia  di Belanda. Sebagai organisasi sosial keagamaan non pemerintah, PCINU Belanda memiliki peran dan strategi dalam membantu diplomasi Kementerian Luar Negeri  Republik  Indonesia  dalam  menebarkan  moderasi  “Islam  Nusantara” merespons Islamofobia. Studi ini adalah penelitian empiris dengan pendekatan fikih siyasah dan maqāṣid al-sharī’ah. Dalam merespons Islamofobia, PCINU Belanda menggunakan strategi diplomasi multitrack yang berhasil menebarkan Islam  yang  ramah,  anti  teror,  toleran,  dan  moderat.  Meskipun  PCINU belum sepenuhnya menggunakan semua bidang multitrack, namun berhasil menghadapi  islamofobia  dan  mempromosikan  Islam  yang  damai  melalui Islam Nusantara.Kata Kunci: multi-track diplomacy; moderasi; islamfobia; Islam Nusantara; perdamaian dunia

Abstract

Hasil penafsiran terhadap Al-Qur’an merupakan representasi dari kecenderungan dan kepentingan setiap mufasir, sehingga penelusuran hubungan penafsir dengan teks, visi, dan argumen menjadi keniscayaan untuk memperoleh tafsiran yang komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pola produksi dan penafsiran Al-Māwardī dan Ibnu ‘Āshūr dalam menafsirkan QS. Al-Nisā’ (4): 24, terutama persoalan nikah mut’ah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analysis content sebagai konsep analisisnya. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pola produksi Al-Māwardī dan Ibnu ‘Āshūr merefleksikan hubungan keduanya dengan teks yang kemudian terbaca pada kecenderungan terhadap metode tafsir tertentu. Pola produksi yang berbeda disebabkan oleh motivasi keduanya dalam menulis kitab tafsir. Sedangkan perbedaan hasil penafsiran atas persoalan nikah mut’ah mengindikasikan visi serta argumen Al-Māwardī dan Ibnu ‘Āshūr yang erat kaitannya dengan konteks sosio-historis yang melingkupi keduanya. Pengharaman nikah mut’ah oleh Al-Māwardī disesuaikan pada mazhab yang dianutnya dan dominasi aliran sunni yang menjadi arus utama pada masa itu, sehingga hasil penafsirannya terkesan melegitimasi kepentingan ideologinya. Berbanding terbalik dengan Ibnu ‘Āshūr yang menghalalkan nikah mut’ah hanya dalam kondisi darurat dengan syarat-syarat tertentu. Penarikan hukum Ibnu ‘Āshūr yang demikian adalah respon terhadap kebutuhan-kebutuhan masyarakat di Tunisia yang berperang melawan kolonialisme Perancis.

Abstract

Anak yang melakukan kejahatan narkotika dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan hidup dan masa depan anak. Oleh sebab itu, aparat penegak hukum dalam menegakkan hukum perlu memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang berdampak buruk bagi masa depan anak. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penegakan hukum dan faktor penghambat penegakan hukum terhadap anak yang melakukan kejahatan narkotika. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis sosiologis dan menggunakan analisis data dengan sifat kuantitatif serta dengan menggunakan beberapa data primer dan data sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penegakan hukum yang dilakukan oleh Pengadilan Negeri Kelas 1A Khusus Palembang yaitu dengan memperhatikan restorative justice. Dari 28 putusan tersebut, dua putusan dikembalikan kepada orang tua. Putusan ini diambil dari tahun 2020 sampai 2022. Dan untuk faktor yang menghambat penegakan hukum kejahatan narkotika yang dilakukan anak di Pengadilan Negeri Kelas 1A Khusus Palembang yaitu adanya perbedaan persepsi oleh aparat penegak hukum dalam mengambil putusan hukum dan juga perbedaan persepsi antara masyarakat dengan penegak hukum dalam memahami undang-undang hal ini menghambat aparat penegak hukum dalam menjalankan restorative justice.

Abstract

Improving people's financial literacy using m-banking is crucial in today's digital era, where around 70% of Indonesians still have a low level of financial literacy. This research focuses on Bank Mandiri Surabaya Branch, where more than 60% of customers do not fully understand the use of digital banking services, especially m-banking. This community service activity aims to improve customers' understanding of m-banking and its benefits in financial management. Using training modules and hands-on demonstrations, participants were taught how to download applications, conduct transactions, and understand important features in m-banking. Results showed that the education significantly improved customers' understanding and confidence in using the m-banking application. Participants reported an increased interest in applying the new knowledge in their daily financial management. This program not only contributes to the improvement of individual financial literacy but also promotes broader financial inclusion in the community. Thus, this activity confirms the importance of structured and practical education to improve financial literacy and utilize digital banking technology effectively.

Abstract

Hajj is an act of worship that must be performed by all Muslims who have the ability both outwardly, inwardly, and also financially. The obligation to perform the Hajj is only done once in a lifetime. There is an external assessment that the management of the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage has not been effective in terms of institutional aspects, financial management, and improvement of facilities and infrastructure in providing services to pilgrims. Therefore, there is a need for management of the Hajj pilgrimage as an effort to improve the system of organizing Hajj that is better, professional, and accountable. This study aims to determine the development map and trend of Hajj Management published by reputable journals. The data analyzed were more than 243 Google Scholar indexed research publications. The export data was then processed and analyzed using the R Biblioshiny application program to find out the bibliometric map of Hajj Management development. The results showed that We have identified two research networks in Hajj Management literature using co-occuerence network. These research networks are "Hajj" and "Crowd Management".

Abstract

Countries all over the world recognize human rights as very important rights and need to be recognized in their constitutions. The protection of human rights is also regarded as an integral part of the rule of law, so States pay primary attention to this concept. Therefore, the security, peace, and stability of a country can be threatened by human rights violations. In this case in Indonesia there are frequent violations of human rights, both serious and mild. One of the allegations of human rights violations was a farmland dispute in Ogan Ilir Province of Sumatra Seiatan which resulted in one victim killed and four people suffered Iuka-Iuka, several human rights were violated, namely: the right to life, the right not to receive cruel treatment, the rights to safety and the rights of the child, and these rights are explicitly guaranteed in Act No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights.

Abstract

Global warming followed by climate change has become a new disaster in the world. One of the impacts of climate change that can be clearly seen is the rise of sea water to the land surface causing tidal floods in Cilacap Regency, Central Java Province. Research on Bronjong Dams as an appropriate alternative technology is the first step to overcome the problem of tidal flood mitigation and as a raw water filter. Research into planning the design of this Gabion Dam to handle tidal floods and as a filter to be used for raw water located at the mouth of the Parit River. The method used is a quantitative method by carrying out prototype testing to justify field conditions by handling close results. The research analysis technique begins with collecting primary data and secondary data.. The design of the Gabion weir models as a filter included three types of weir testing models namely type 1 trapezoidal model, type 2 beam model, and type 3 combination model. The material, geometry and dimensions of the experimental prototype are a reduction of the real problem conditions in the field. The results of the observation analysis of the Gabion weirs have obtained the average elevation of the water, MAR = 100 cm, MAB 600 cm, MAN = 450 cm, the elevation of the MAB upstream of the weir =650 cm, the elevation of the center of the weir = 445 cm, the downstream weir MAB = 410 cm, the measured flow velocity upstream of the weir 7.5 l/s, center 7.5 l/s, downstream 6.0 l/s and upstream temperature 31°C, center 30.3°C, 30°C, clean downstream water conditions. The results of the study represent a function of the elevation of the flood water level both upstream and downstream which are through the Gabion Weirs with several thicknesses as raw water filters

Abstract

Scientific literacy and creativity are two of several competencies that are very important to have now and in the future. However, referring to the data released by TIMSS and the results of previous research, shows that the scientific literacy and creativity of students in Indonesia are both low. This research aims to develop a STEM-Creative Problem Solving model learning tool to increase students' scientific literacy and creativity. This type of research is research & development. The development procedure in this research uses a 4D mode; define, design, develop, and disseminate. The instrument for knowing expert assessments of learning tools that have been developed uses validation sheets. From the results of the assessment of 3 (three) experts, it shows that the learning tools that have been developed have high validity with an average score for learning plans of 3.83 and an average validity score for student worksheets of 3.81. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning tools that have been developed are suitable to be continued to the limited trial stage (effectiveness test) and disseminated widely.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how branding strategies in madrasas based on local wisdom are becoming increasingly relevant for identifying, developing and implementing strategic steps in promoting MTs. Zainul Irsyad and preserving local wisdom through extracurricular martial arts, Pencak Silat, Pagar Nusa. Likewise, social media has become a practical application to bridge information on superior programs implemented by educational institutions to the public as the main consumers in determining the right educational institution for their children . This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques which are then analyzed through several steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions . Testing the validity of the data in this study used triangulation. The results of this research are that MTs Zainul Irsyad presents the extracurricular martial arts pencak silat Pagar Nusa as an advantage in shaping the character of students, encouraging community participation through school committees in extra-curricular activities based on local wisdom, promotion via Social Media by choosing the right communication platform, collaboration with Relevant Parties by involving local governments and other relevant actors so that this program can be sustainable and have a positive impact. The success of a branding strategy based on local wisdom through extra-curricular martial arts pencak silat Pagar Nusa can be measured through; (1) increasing students' knowledge about local wisdom, (2) their active participation in pencak silat martial arts activities at several events, and (3) a significant impact on the acceptance of new students in the next academic year
