Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran orang tua dalam pengenalan literasi digital pada anak usia dini di era teknologi digital, mengingat pesatnya perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data meliputi sumber primer, sekunder, dan tersier yang dianalisis dengan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan orang tua sangat krusial dalam mengawasi anak saat mengakses konten digital, memberikan batasan pada aplikasi yang boleh diakses, dan membatasi waktu penggunaan teknologi digital. Peran aktif orang tua diharapkan dapat meminimalkan dampak negatif dari teknologi digital serta memaksimalkan manfaat positifnya. Literasi digital bagi anak usia dini mencakup kemampuan memahami informasi dari konten digital. Orang tua perlu memberikan pemahaman tentang konten yang baik dan buruk serta membatasi waktu akses. Dengan demikian, anak dapat menggunakan teknologi secara bijak dan benar, serta terhindar dari dampak negatif. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peran orang tua sebagai pengendali dalam pengenalan literasi digital.

Abstract

Individual quality of life is influenced by health, both physical and psychological health. Individual psychological health is related to mental health. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on public health, especially in the world of work. Based on this, the researchers conducted research on the mental health condition of the community in the work environment in terms of gender and length of work. This study uses a comparative descriptive research method. The research sample amounted to 38 people, namely 11 male and 27 female. The research sample came from Sumatra and Java. The instrument used in this study is a mental health instrument. Data collection is done through google form. Data analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using the program JASP (Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program) version 0.12 and the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) program. The results showed that men's mental health was better in the work environment than women and there were differences in mental health in terms of length of work. Therefore, to improve the mental health of workers, it is possible to apply religiosity in the work environment.

Abstract

Fenomena smartphone addiction semakin meluas di kalangan mahasiswa dan menjadi isu penting yang berdampak pada aspek kognitif, emosional, serta sosial mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis addiction cycle mahasiswa yang mengalami smartphone addiction dengan memperhatikan faktor demografi seperti jenis kelamin, usia, dan latar belakang pendidikan. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 469 mahasiswa sebagai responden, terdiri atas 89 laki-laki dan 380 perempuan. Instrumen pengukuran mengacu pada skala smartphone addiction yang telah divalidasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui statistik deskriptif dan uji perbedaan berdasarkan variabel demografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa laki-laki cenderung memiliki skor rata-rata smartphone addiction lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan (M = 85,20; SD = 14,62 vs. M = 80,42; SD = 14,11). Analisis siklus adiksi mengungkap bahwa mayoritas responden mengalami pola berulang berupa fase trigger, craving, loss of control, hingga withdrawal, yang menandakan adanya kesulitan signifikan dalam mengendalikan penggunaan smartphone. Selain itu, faktor usia turut memengaruhi tingkat adiksi, di mana mahasiswa pada rentang usia awal kuliah (17–20 tahun) memperlihatkan tingkat ketergantungan lebih besar dibandingkan kelompok usia yang lebih senior. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa smartphone addiction di kalangan mahasiswa bersifat multidimensi dan sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor demografi. Implikasinya, intervensi preventif maupun kuratif yang dirancang oleh konselor dan lembaga pendidikan perlu mempertimbangkan perbedaan karakteristik mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan usia. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan literatur mengenai adiksi digital sekaligus menjadi pijakan awal bagi pengembangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling berbasis bukti dalam menghadapi tantangan penggunaan smartphone yang berlebihan di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the digital AUM Seri-Umum application based on school counselors’ perceptions after attending a structured workshop. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 37 guidance and counseling teachers who participated in the training. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire covering clarity of materials, ease of use, workshop convenience, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and intention to use, complemented by open-ended responses. Descriptive statistics and thematic coding were employed in the analysis. Findings show that the application was very well received, with a composite mean score of 4.93, indicating highly positive perceptions. Counselors highlighted the clarity of instructions, user-friendly navigation, and strong practical benefits in managing student problems efficiently. Notably, 100% of participants expressed satisfaction and intention to continue using the application, with enthusiasm to join future workshops. These results confirm that the digitalization of AUM Seri-Umum is a strategic innovation supporting more effective, efficient, and data-driven counseling services in schools

Abstract

Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) has emerged as a significant mental health concern among adolescent students, with prevalence rates varying from 0.7% to 27.5% globally.  This study aimed to comprehend-sively describe IGD tendencies among students in urban public schools, identify the most prominent IGD dimensions, and formulate evidence-based implications for guidance and counseling interventions. A quantitative descriptive study was conducted involving 350 high school students from three urban public schools in West Sumatra, selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a standardized six-dimension IGD questionnaire measuring Salience, Tolerance, Mood Modification, Withdrawal, Relapse, and Conflict.The findings revealed that 45.7% of students exhibited moderate IGD tendencies, with only 5.7% in the very low category. The most prominent dimensions were Tolerance (75.0% in moderate-to-high categories) and Relapse (49.0% in moderate category), reflecting significant difficulties in controlling gaming duration and strong urges to resume gaming after cessation attempts. Maternal employment status (65.7% working mothers) potentially contributed to reduced parental supervision.IGD tendencies among urban public school students represent a significant risk requiring urgent intervention. School counseling services must implement comprehensive prevention programs incorporating self-control enhancement, family involvement, and evidence-based group counseling approaches.

AbstractIntellectual humility pada mahasiswa bk mengemukakan bahwa kerendahan hati atau Intelektual humility merupakan kapabilitas individu guna melakukan pengakuan atas kesalahan pribadi, kekurangan, batasan diri serta terbuka dalam penerimaan akan masukan, pengetahuan serta saran. Turut dapat disebut dengan kemampuan menilai yang tepat atas kapabilitas individu serta pencapaian yang dimilikinya.Lickona (2012) menuturkan bahwa Intellectual Humility merupakan kebijaksanaan yang mendasar dari kehidupan moral secara menyeluruh. penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan aspek-aspek yang mampu meningkatkan intellectual humility yaitu (1) keterbukaan (2) pengorbanan diri (3) penilaian diri yang akurat (4) fokus pada orang lain.Dukungan ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif.Populasi penelitian ini 220 orang Intellectual humility dengan sampel 220 orang dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu angket. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis presentase.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk yang mampu meningkatkan dukungan Intellectual humility tergolong sesuai. Abstract

llowing the pandemic, social media usage has increased rapidly. This situation exacerbates the phenomenon of individuals' Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). The purpose of this study is to conduct a systematic synthesis of the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and digital wellbeing in the post-pandemic era, covering research articles published between 2016 and 2024. Data was sorted using the PRISMA method and systematically collected from Scopus, using a Boolean search to identify scientific articles relevant to the research topic. The selected scientific articles were limited to the years 2016 to 2024. After the data screening procedure, twelve empirical studies were selected for further review. The quality of these studies was evaluated using JBI for quantitative research and CASP for qualitative studies. Of these studies, five were classified as high-quality, while seven were categorized as medium-quality. The main synthesis findings identified: (1) psychological mechanisms, specifically social comparison, Separation Anxiety Disorder (SAD), and emotional dysregulation, these variables were found to mediate the effects of FoMO on digital well-being in eleven of the twelve studies; (2) adverse outcomes, including problematic internet use, anxiety, depression, and low academic achievement, were found across all studies, with adolescents and young adults impacted by FoMO; and (3) interventions, six studies explored interventions for individuals with high levels of FoMO, with two providing empirical validation and four providing conceptual explanations. This research provides novel contributions to the field of mental health related to FoMO behavior. The findings of the reviewed studies integrate evidence related to the mechanisms, outcomes, and interventions of FoMO behavior. This review is also linked to three theoretical frameworks: social comparison theory, self-determination theory, and the digital stress model. This allows the data synthesis to focus on critical gaps in longitudinal methodology, cultural inclusivity, and research on intervention effectiveness, while also proposing a testable conceptual model for future research directed at intervening FoMO with counseling and other psychotherapies.

Abstract

  The integration of gamification into career guidance services offers an innovative approach to addressing the challenge of student work-readiness in the digital era. This systematic literature review explores the potential of gamification to enhance students' employability skills through career guidance interventions. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, the study analyzed 12 peer-reviewed articles from Scopus and Google Scholar databases published between 2020-2025. The findings reveal that gamification elements, including simulations, serious games, and metaverse-based environments, effectively develop both hard skills (technical competencies, financial literacy) and soft skills (critical thinking, teamwork, communication) aligned with industry demands. Gamification significantly increases students' intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, and engagement in career planning, facilitating more informed career decision-making and smoother transitions to the job market. The review identifies key implementation challenges, including high technological costs, limited digital literacy, and the need for faculty training. Despite these barriers, gamification demonstrates particular promise in diverse geographical contexts, from developed to developing countries, offering adaptable solutions for various institutional settings. This study contributes to the limited literature on gamification in career guidance by synthesizing current evidence and providing practical recommendations for higher education institutions seeking to systematically integrate gamified approaches into career curricula. Such integration, supported by cross-sector collaboration and attention to sociocultural factors, can enhance graduate employability and support lifelong learning in an increasingly competitive global workforce. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan yang turut terdampak adalah layanan bimbingan dan konseling (BK). Di era digital ini, layanan bimbingan dan konseling tidak hanya terbatas pada pertemuan tatap muka, tetapi juga dapat dilakukan secara daring (online). Artikel ini membahas implementasi teknologi informasi dalam pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling online bagi konselor sekolah di Kabupaten Solok Selatan, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi Guru BK dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

As a generation that grows in the era of internet and digital advancement, millennial generation is the generation that is always connected to each other (always connected generation). The high level of use of social media in this generation has raised concerns about the consequences of problems related to the use of social media in this group. One of them they try and have a desire to continue to connect with what is being done by others through cyberspace so as to cause anxiety in themselves and lead to a fear, which is the fear of being left behind. This phenomenon is called FoMO (Fear of Missing Out). This study describes the level of FoMO inclination in Padang State University students. The sample used was 416 respondents spread throughout the faculties and the sampling was done using propotional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale model. The data obtained were analyzed using percentage techniques. The results of the study in general showed that the tendency of FoMO in students was in the low category at 47.59%.
