The development of a closed-house poultry system can create an ideal environment within the cage, enhance chicken productivity, improve land and labor efficiency, and establish an environmentally friendly farming operation. Productivity, which refers to the success rate of broiler chicken farming, is influenced by several factors, including Body Weight Gain (PBB), Body Weight (BW), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), and Performance Index (IP). PT. Chickin Indonesia implements a partnership system where the company collaborates with farmers who have closed-house facilities. Among the various partnership farms, one is located in Purwosuman, Masaran District, Sragen Regency, Central Java. This farm features a closed-house type built in 2019, with a north-south orientation, a size of 95 meters by 12 meters, two floors, and a capacity of 30,000 chickens. Discussions with the manager revealed that the results from the period of July 16 - August 20, 2024, were better compared to the period from March 31 - May 5, 2024. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the improvement in broiler chicken productivity in the closed-house system (Case Study at PT. Chickin Indonesia). The results show that the broiler chicken farming during the period of July 16 - August 20, 2024, was more successful than during the period of March 31 - May 5, 2024. The farming in the latter period used high-quality chicks and feed, resulting in optimal chicken growth. In contrast, the revenue from the period of March 31 - May 5, 2024, experienced a loss of IDR 59,184,675, while the revenue during the period of July 16 - August 20, 2024, was IDR 282,629,506.
