Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (Higher Order Thingking Skills/HOTS) dan hasil belajar merupakan dua komponen penting dalam pembelajaran IPAS yang harus dilakukan peserta didik untuk menghadapi tuntutan kurikulum dan perkembangan abad 21. Berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan HOTS peserta didik sekolah dasar masih rendah dan pembelajaran IPAS sering berlangsung secara konvensional sehingga kurang memfasilitasi proses berpikir mendalam. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat merangsang keterampilan berpikir serta meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik, salah satunya adalah project Based Learning (PjBL).  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan PjBL dalam meningkatkan HOTS dan hasil belajar peserta didik sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran IPAS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan PRISMA, mencakup 60 Artikel terbitan tahun 2020-2025 dengan sumber artikel dari Crossref. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan HOTS, memperkuat pemahaman konsep, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui kegiatan belajar yang kolaboratif, bermakna, dan berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Project Based Learning secara konsisten dan terarah mampu mendukung pengembangan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan pencapaian belajar IPAS pada peserta didik sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Analisis tren penggunaan media Augmented Reality (AR) dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di sekolah dasar untuk mengidentifikasi manfaatnya terhadap proses dan hasil belajar, serta mengkaji tantangan implementasinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur sistematis dengan menelaah artikel ilmiah periode 2015–2025 yang diperoleh melalui database Scopus, Google Scholar, dan Crossref, serta dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik dan tematik. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AR mengalami peningkatan signifikan sejak 2018 dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi, keterlibatan, serta pemahaman konsep siswa melalui visualisasi dan interaksi pembelajaran yang lebih konkret. AR selaras dengan karakteristik perkembangan kognitif siswa sekolah dasar dan mendukung pembelajaran kontekstual sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, meskipun masih terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan infrastruktur dan literasi digital guru. Maka dari itu AR berpotensi menjadi media pembelajaran inovatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar, dengan diperlukannya dukungan kebijakan, pelatihan guru, dan pengembangan konten yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Literasi sains dipandang penting sebagai keterampilan abad 21 yang mencakup kemampuan memahami konsep ilmiah, berpikir kritis, serta mengaitkan ilmu pengetahuan dengan kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian teoretis yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi penggunaan kearifan lokal Minangkabau dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran IPA. Kajian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan metode PRISMA dan analisis bibliometrik berbantuan perangkat lunak VOSviewer. Data diperoleh dari berbagai basis data ilmiah seperti Google Scholar, DOAJ, ERIC, dan Sinta, dengan rentang waktu publikasi 2020–2025. Dari total 175 artikel yang teridentifikasi, hanya 35 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis lebih lanjut. Hasil kajian literatur menunjukkan bahwa integrasi budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran IPA mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, motivasi belajar, serta memperkuat identitas budaya siswa. Kearifan lokal Minangkabau, seperti sistem pertanian tradisional, filosofi alam, dan praktik lingkungan, dapat dijadikan sumber kontekstual untuk mengajarkan konsep sains secara lebih bermakna. Meskipun demikian, tantangan yang dihadapi mencakup keterbatasan pengetahuan guru mengenai kearifan lokal, kurangnya dukungan kurikulum, serta keterbatasan media pembelajaran berbasis budaya. Dengan demikian, diperlukan model pembelajaran IPA berbasis kearifan lokal Minangkabau yang terstruktur serta pelatihan guru agar pembelajaran lebih kontekstual, efektif, dan relevan dengan kehidupan siswa.

Abstract

This study is a literature review that analyzes previous research on the development of Augmented Reality (AR)-based E-Modules in science learning (IPA) at the elementary school level, with a focus on enhancing students’ critical thinking skills. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method guided by the PRISMA protocol. Articles were collected from databases such as Google Scholar, ERIC, and ScienceDirect, using inclusion criteria that included publications from 2020 to 2025, written in Indonesian or English, and discussing the development or implementation of AR-based E-Modules in elementary education. From a total of 413 identified articles, 35 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed further. The findings indicate that AR-based E-Modules consistently improve learning engagement, conceptual understanding in science, and students’ critical thinking skills through interactive visualization and immersive learning experiences. Moreover, integrating AR in E-Modules supports deep learning and student-centered learning approaches. The review suggests that future development of AR-based E-Modules should emphasize interactivity, usability, and alignment with the national curriculum to maximize their potential in fostering critical thinking among elementary school students.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong lahirnya bahan ajar interaktif dan kontekstual, sementara Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) menekankan relevansi budaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tren penelitian Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dalam pengembangan buku ajar digital periode 2014–2025. Metode yang digunakan ialah analisis bibliometrik dengan data publikasi dari Crossref yang diolah menggunakan Publish or Perish dan VOSviewer. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan tahun publikasi, implementasi, dan tema penelitian. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan publikasi pada tahun 2024–2025. Dari 34 artikel yang dianalisis, tema dominan mencakup pengembangan media digital dan pelatihan guru. Integrasi CRT dan teknologi digital mendorong pembelajaran kontekstual dan inovatif. Abstract

Abstract: This study aim to analyze scientific publication trends and patterns of cultural integration in the implementation of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) throuhout the 2010-2025 period. The research employed a bibliometric approach using Publish or Perish and VOSviewer, with a total of 62 selected articles identified through PRISMA criteria based on data retrieved from Google Scholar Scopus. The findings indicate a significant increase in CRT relate publications beginning in 2010, with the highest surge occurring in 2025, predominantly within elementary school settings and the IPAS sebject area. Cultural integration is implemented through the utilization of local culture based instructional media, contextual learning materials, and cross cultural collaboration in classroom practices. Future studies are recommended to broaden research in secondary and higher education levels in order to strengthen the implementation of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT). Abstract

Abstract: The advancement of educational technology has not been fully accompanied by the use of diverse learning media. This study aims to analyze findings on the development of culture-based interactive learning media. A systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, using articles from Crossref, Google Scholar, and Scopus. Of the 2,031 articles identified, 44 met the inclusion criteria for analysis. The findings show an increasing trend in culture-based media development up to 2022, particularly at the elementary level in IPAS, Mathematics, and Arts. Cultural integration enhances students’ motivation, learning outcomes, and cultural awareness. Future studies should expand implementation scales and integrate AR, VR, gamification, and artificial intelligence technologies. Abstract

This study aims to map and analyze the development of research on the development of integrated digital teaching materials, PjBL-STEAM, with an ESD framework to improve students' critical reasoning skills on renewable energy materials through bibliometric analysis. Data were obtained from the Scopus database and selected using certain criteria, resulting in 329 articles published from 2012 to 2025. The analysis was conducted using Bibliometrix software to examine publication trends, the most productive journals, the most contributing authors and countries, and thematic evolution. The synthesis results show that the STEAM approach has proven effective in developing students' critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. However, an explicit ESD integration framework in open-ended high school physics materials is still limited. Furthermore, research that simultaneously integrates PjBL, STEAM, and Education for Sustainable Development on renewable energy materials is still rare. These findings indicate a research opportunity to develop integrated digital teaching materials, PjBL-STEAM, with an ESD framework specifically designed to improve students' critical reasoning skills.

Abstract

Critical thinking is an essential competency in 21st-century physics learning because many physics concepts are abstract and require analytical as well as problem-solving abilities. The integration of Problem Based Learning (PBL) with PhET simulations is considered to support the development of these skills. This study aims to systematically analyse research trends on the implementation of PBL assisted by PhET simulations in improving senior high school students’ critical thinking skills in physics learning. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following PRISMA guidelines and was combined with bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. Articles were identified through Google Scholar using Publish or Perish within the 2020–2026 publication period, producing 994 records at the identification stage. After the screening, eligibility, and inclusion processes, 64 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analysed. The findings indicate that publication trends rose during 2023–2024, the keywords Problem Based Learning, PhET simulation, critical thinking, and physics learning were strongly interconnected across four bibliometric clusters, and the most frequently studied physics topics were oscillation and waves, dynamic electricity, and motion with Newtonian concepts. Overall, the reviewed studies show a positive tendency of PBL assisted by PhET simulations in supporting students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The advancement of education in the digital era requires learning innovations that not only focus on cognitive development but are also rooted in cultural and moral values. Integrating local wisdom into instructional materials serves as a strategic effort to strengthen students’ character while preserving national cultural identity. This study aims to map research trends, analyze the contribution of local wisdom-based instructional materials to character education, and identify research gaps within studies published from 2015 to 2025. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework and supported by bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. Data were obtained from 991 articles indexed in Google Scholar and Scopus, from which 29 met the inclusion criteria for further analysis. The findings reveal a significant increase in research publications over the past decade with two main orientations: the integration of cultural values to strengthen character education and the development of innovative learning media. The media developed include educational comics, storybooks, pop-up books, e-modules, and interactive multimedia designed to cultivate responsibility, religiosity, cooperation, and appreciation for local culture. However, limitations remain in the diversity of cultural contexts, long-term effectiveness testing, and the digitalization of learning media, Overall, local wisdom-based instructional materials play a crucial role not only in cultural preservation but also in holistic character development. Future studies should strengthen digital integration, broaden cross-cultural applications, and conduct longitudinal evaluations to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the Profil Pelajar Pancasila.
