Abstract

Unmanned aircraft or better known as drones have experienced rapid development in recent years. This technology has been used in various sectors, including military, agriculture, aerial photography, mapping, to surveillance and rescue. Along with the increasing demand and use of drones, skilled human resources are needed to operate and manage this technology safely and effectively. Lack of understanding of flight regulations, basic operating techniques, and drone maintenance can lead to the risk of accidents and violations of the law. Therefore, drone flight training for SMK Al Farabi Medan students is very important to ensure that drone operators have adequate competence. With this training, it is hoped that students can operate drones professionally, understand the technical and legal aspects involved, and be able to apply this technology optimally in their respective fields. This training also supports efforts to improve flight safety and more responsible management of drone technology.

Abstract

Work-life balance and workload are two aspects of improving employee well-being and job satisfaction that are increasingly receiving attention. Given the importance of this topic in the MSME sector, this study fills the gap in the limited literature on the influence of these two factors in the creative media industry. The contribution of this study is to provide new insights for companies in managing these factors to improve employee performance and well-being. This study used a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression techniques to examine the impact of work-life balance and workload on job satisfaction. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 150 people working in a creative media company on an MSME scale in Samarinda. According to the study's findings, work-life balance has the biggest impact on these two factors, significantly affecting employee job satisfaction. It is demonstrated that both independent variables can account for 75.4% of the variation in work satisfaction, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.754, while 24.6 percent is influenced by external variables not included in this research model. Workload has a favorable and considerable impact on job satisfaction, although work-life balance has a small but positive effect. The study's findings suggest that increased work-life balance and effective task management can boost worker job satisfaction. Therefore, to achieve organizational goals, businesses are encouraged to maintain and improve work-life balance and manage workload properly to improve employee well-being and satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the Independent Learning Campus Independent Internship Program (MBKM) on the development of Soft Skills, Hard Skills, and Work Readiness of Mulawarman University students. The main focus of the study is how students improve their work readiness by improving soft skills and hard skills after undergoing the MBKM program. The results of the study prove that Soft Skills (X1) and Hard Skills (X2) have a significant impact on Work Readiness (Y) simultaneously. Students who experience an increase in soft skills and hard skills after undergoing the MBKM program feel more ready to enter the workforce. This finding shows that work readiness can be achieved by developing effective soft skills and improving relevant hard skills. The study also revealed that soft skills such as communication skills, inter-member cooperation, and in handling problems have a crucial role in increasing the level of student readiness to work. Meanwhile, improving hard skills, including technical and intellectual abilities, also plays a significant role in supporting work readiness. Although there is an increase in work readiness with the MBKM program, there are challenges in optimal implementation, especially related to the application of soft skills and hard skills in real work situations. Therefore, a comprehensive and sustainable strategy is needed to continuously improve students' work readiness by developing soft skills and hard skills continuously. Overall, the MBKM program has proven effective in facilitating efforts to develop students' soft skills and hard skills, thereby increasing their readiness to work. This program makes a significant contribution in creating graduates who are ready to face challenges in the professional world and can adapt to their work scope which tends to change and compete with each other.

Abstract

Microplastic pollution has become an increasingly worrying global environmental issue. Microplastics are plastic particles measuring less than 5 mm from the degradation of large plastics or using products containing microplastics. Microplastics can enter the human body through contaminated food, water, and air, with feces being one of the indicators of exposure. This study aims to analyze the characteristics and abundance of microplastics in feces in communities on the banks of the Musi River in Palembang City. This study used a descriptive design with laboratory analysis. Fecal samples were collected from 50 respondents selected by purposive sampling based on fish consumption patterns and water sourced from the Musi River. The study was carried out using the microplastic separation method using a solution and particle identification using a stereo microscope and FTIR spectroscopy. The results showed that microplastics were found in all respondents' feces samples, with concentrations ranging from 9-27 particles per gram and an average of 18 particles per gram. The dominant types of microplastic polymers found were Polystyrene (PS), Nylon, Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), and Polyethylene (PE). It was concluded that the presence of microplastics in feces indicates significant exposure. Microplastics, such as fragments, fibers, and other particles, were found in people's feces with various shapes, sizes, and colors. The abundance of microplastics in feces indicates contamination, which most likely comes from consuming food and drinks exposed to microplastics. It is recommended that a campaign be carried out to reduce single-use plastic or increase waste processing in riverbank areas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Gender Development Index (GDI) and Gender Empowerment Index (GEI) on the female labor force participation rate in Indonesia. This research uses Secondary data sourced from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Indonesia for the period 2008-2022. The data was analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression analysis method. Partial research results show that the Gender Development Index (GDI) variable has no effect and is not significant to the Female Labor Force Participation Rate and the Gender Empowerment Index (GEI) variable has an effect and is significant to the Female Labor Force Participation Rate in Indonesia. Simultaneously, the Gender Development Index (GDI) and Gender Empowerment Index (GEI)variables have a significant effect on the Female Labor Force Participation Rate in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai penggunaan kombinasi model Problem Based Learning, Teams Games Tournament dan Make a Match untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Alalak tengah 4 pada kelas VB dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 21 orang. Latar belakang masalah penelitian ini adalah siswa yang kurang terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru dan siswa serta menganalisis hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan pada aktivitas guru dari 69% hingga 100% dengan kriteria "sangat baik". Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 48% hingga 90% dengan kriteria "sangat aktif". Kemudianhasil belajar juga mengalami peningkatan pada ketiga aspek yaitu aspek kognitif dari 52% hingga 100%, aspek afektif dari 48% hingga 100% dan aspek psikomotorik dari 48% menjadi 95%. Penelitian ini telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan yaitu 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa kombinasi model Problem Based Learning, Teams Games Tournament dan Make a Match dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Religious diversity is an unavoidable social reality. However, this diversity often leads to tension and conflict between religious communities. The concept of pluralism comes as a solution to create a harmonious life by emphasizing mutual respect and understanding of differences. This research aims to examine the Islamic perspective in building harmonious socio-religious relations in the midst of pluralism by using the literature study method, this research analyzes the concept of pluralism and interfaith dialogue in the Islamic perspective through a qualitative approach. The data used comes from various academic literatures, including books, scientific journals, and relevant official documents. The results show that the concept of Tri Kerukunan (internal religious harmony, inter-religious harmony, and harmony between religious communities and the government) is the main asset in building harmonious religious pluralism in Indonesia. In addition, social dynamics in religious pluralism in contemporary society face various challenges, such as differences in theological views and the spread of information that can worsen inter-religious relations. Therefore, the active involvement of various parties, including religious leaders and the government, is needed to manage more inclusive social interactions and build a civilized society.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research through a descriptive approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the character of responsibility in grade V students. The subjects of this study were students in grades V at MI Hidayatussibyan NW Sengkerang, even semester, 2023/2024 academic year. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the character of responsibility possessed by grade V students at MI Hidayatussibyan NW Sengkerang includes carrying out tasks that are well received and full of readiness, completing things responsibly, doing tasks according to their abilities, thinking before acting and considering the consequences. exists, is responsible for attitudes, words and actions and is responsible for attitudes, words and actions. This happens because of habituation to be able to shape the character of student responsibility which is carried out in school.

Abstract

This research aims to initiate an enjoyable and fun format of Islamic education methods as a solution in improving the effectiveness of learning in the contemporary era. The importance of this research lies in the need for innovation in learning methods that not only emphasize the transfer of religious knowledge, but also develop 21st century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication (4C). With interactive and fun learning methods, it is expected that students can be more active, enthusiastic, and have a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings. This research uses library research method by collecting and analyzing data from various relevant sources, such as books, scientific journals, and articles that discuss the concept of Joyful Learning in Islamic education. The results show that the application of the Joyful Learning method in Islamic education can increase students' learning motivation, reduce boredom in understanding religious material, and create a more conducive and interactive learning environment. Some of the strategies that can be applied in joyful Islamic learning include the use of digital technology, game-based learning, project-based learning, as well as based approach. By applying these methods, Islamic education does not only focus on the cognitive aspect, but also shapes the character of learners who are creative, communicative, and collaboration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pengaruh puisi ‘Peringatan’ karya Wiji Thukul terhadap pengguna media sosial Instagram, saat akan terjadinya demonstrasi 22 Agustus 2024. Puisi ‘Peringatan’ tersebut diunggah oleh akun Instagram @bukuakik pada 21 Agustus 2024. Di samping beredarnya #PeringatanDarurat sebagai bentuk menyuarakan aksi demo tersebut. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini yaitu tiga komentar teratas terhadap unggahan puisi tersebut. Sumber data penelitian yaitu unggahan puisi ‘Peringatan’ karya Wiji Thukul oleh akun Instagram @bukuakik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengutip tiga komentar teratas. Analisis data dilakukan dengan melihat reaksi yang ditulis pengguna pada unggahan puisi ‘Peringatan’ karya Wiji Thukul yang dibagikan oleh @bukuakik. Kemudian mendeskripsikannya, lalu terakhir akan ditarik kesimpulan. Temuan dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa Puisi ‘Peringatan’ karya Wiji Thukul yang diunggah @bukuakik di media sosial Instagram pada 21 Agustus 2024 menunjukkan bahwa dapat mempengaruhi pengguna media sosial untuk melakukan demonstrasi dan melawan terhadap apa yang terjadi pada saat itu. Sedangkan yang tidak terpengaruh melakukan demonstrasi, lebih memilih untuk mendoakan keselamatan seluruh rakyat Indonesia.
