Abstract

Animal quarantine plays a crucial role in preventing the smuggling of wildlife, particularly protected bird species. Although this is regulated under Law Number 21 of 2019 concerning Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine, smuggling practices remain prevalent. This study employs a normative and empirical juridical approach to examine the role of the Agricultural Quarantine Agency Class 1A Bandar Lampung in combating bird smuggling, as well as the factors hindering the enforcement of criminal law. The findings indicate that the quarantine agency carries out three main roles: normative (based on regulations), factual (preventive and repressive actions), and ideal (emphasizing prevention). Obstacles faced include a shortage of field personnel, limited equipment and funding, and low public awareness of the law. It is recommended that the quarantine agency improve community welfare and collaborate with relevant institutions to optimize public outreach and law enforcement efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the public response to the video “Prabowo's Cronies in the Free Nutritious Meal Project (MBG)” uploaded on YouTube Tempo.co, with a focus on the toxicity of comments and sentiments formed in public discussions related to the video. The phenomenon of concern is how netizens respond to political content and government policies through comments on social media platforms, and how these reactions affect the formation of public opinion. The research method used is sentiment analysis by utilizing the Communalytic.org tool to analyze the comments contained in the video, measure the level of toxicity, and identify sentiment patterns that appear in the discussion. The results showed that although there was a significant spike in toxicity on April 20, 2025, most of the comments showed low levels of toxicity after that period. The categories of severe toxicity, identity attack, insult, and threat were recorded very little. In addition, analysis of the distribution of toxicity scores per day revealed that the toxicity effect tends to subside after an initial peak in interaction. These findings suggest that while these videos trigger strong emotional responses initially, their long-term effects on public opinion are likely to be limited. This research contributes to the understanding of how social media affects political dynamics and how citizens process information based on their prior knowledge and attitudes.

Abstract

The rise in hate speech cases involving minors on social media has become a pressing legal issue in the digital era. As more children engage with online platforms, the risks of harmful behaviors such as hate speech have grown, presenting challenges for legal systems worldwide. This study aims to examine the enforcement of law against children who commit hate speech crimes on social media, with a focus on understanding both the legal processes and the obstacles encountered during enforcement. Using a combination of normative and empirical juridical approaches, the study collects data through interviews with law enforcement officials in Bandar Lampung. The findings indicate that, although the juvenile justice system emphasizes restorative justice and provides diversion mechanisms for minor offenders, the practical application of these principles remains insufficient. Key technical challenges, such as difficulties in tracking accounts and the ease with which digital evidence is deleted, pose significant barriers to effective prosecution. Additionally, structural issues, including limited resources and the lack of digital legal literacy among law enforcement, exacerbate the problem. Despite these challenges, the study identifies best practices in diversion, such as involving psychologists, probation officers, and community leaders, as potential pathways to more humane and rehabilitative resolutions. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of strengthening coordination between agencies, improving law enforcement capacity in digital forensics, and implementing early digital literacy education. These efforts are crucial for creating a more effective legal framework to address hate speech cases committed by children on social media, ensuring both justice and rehabilitation in the digital age.

Abstract

This paper investigates the changing function of digital zakat inside Islamic social finance and emphasizes its ability to solve economic inequity and poverty in environments with a majority of Muslims. While zakat systems are fundamental to social justice, conventional management approaches struggle with inefficiency, lack of openness, and low public confidence. Digital technologies include blockchain, artificial intelligence, and integrated zakat platforms provide interesting answers with the rise of financial technology, but need appropriate alignment with maqashid al-shariah and governance systems to guarantee ethical outputs. This study maps important theme trends, methodological developments, and current research gaps in digital zakat studies utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) paired with bibliometric analysis. The results highlight the need for inclusive, data-driven, sharia-compliant digital zakat systems that strike a balance between social and ethical issues and technical developments. This paper offers both theoretical analysis and pragmatic suggestions for improving responsible zakat administration

Abstract

Criminal law formulation policy is the initial stage in criminal law politics that establishes legal norms formulated in legislation, including religious offenses. In the National Criminal Code enacted through Law No. 1 Year 2023, this policy is reflected in Article 300 - Article 305 of the National Criminal Code which regulates criminal offenses against religion, belief, and worship. In this case, it is important to analyze how the formulation policy on religious criminal offenses in the National Criminal Code and what are the juridical implications of the formulation policy on religious criminal offenses in the National Criminal Code. The research method used is normative juridical and supported by empirical juridical method. The data used are primary data, secondary data, and tertiary data. The data obtained is then analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of the research, it is known that in the National Criminal Code passed through Law No. 1 of 2023, In Article 300 to Article 305 of the National Criminal Code, the state attempts to reorganize religious offenses by clarifying the elements of the act and the intention of the perpetrator, thus preventing multiple interpretations and abuse of the law. This formulation also expands the reach of legal protection not only to official religions, but also to public order and diversity of beliefs in society. However, in substance, the juridical implications of the policy formulation of religious criminal articles in the National Criminal Code include higher legal certainty, protection of citizens' constitutional rights, and changes in the orientation of punishment from repressive to more educative and preventive.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to comprehensively review the role of obedience and gratitude in improving the psychological well-being of non-civil servant early childhood education (PAUD) teachers, particularly in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Early childhood education (PAUD) teachers face significant challenges related to financial well-being, employment status, and high workloads, which have the potential to cause stress and reduce psychological well-being. Method: Through a literature review, this study found that obedience based on self-awareness, religious values, and moral responsibility can provide a sense of security, order, and satisfaction in carrying out tasks. Results: Meanwhile, gratitude has been shown to play a significant role in fostering positive emotions, reducing stress, strengthening social relationships, and helping teachers interpret limitations as a form of devotion. In the context of Islamic boarding school culture, the value of obedience reflected in the philosophy of "Bhuppa' Bhâbbhu' Ghuru Rato" and gratitude rooted in religious teachings strengthen teachers' resilience to remain dedicated. Thus, it can be concluded that obedience and gratitude are important psychological factors that complement each other in maintaining the psychological well-being of PAUD teachers. Novelty: These findings have practical implications for schools, Islamic boarding school foundations, and the government in formulating development strategies and policies that support the welfare of non-civil servant PAUD teachers more comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between emotional regulation, social support, and resilience among mothers of toddlers with stunting status. Mothers facing this condition often encounter high psychological pressure due to the complexities of care and concerns regarding their child's health. The research was conducted on a finite population with a sample of 40 mothers of stunted toddlers. Measurement instruments included the Resilience Questionnaire Test (RQ-TEST), the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), and the Social Support Scale (SSS), analyzed using Spearman's rho correlation analysis. The results indicated a significant positive relationship between emotional regulation and resilience (rho = 0.350, p < 0.05). Higher emotional regulation was associated with higher resilience among mothers. The study also found a significant positive relationship between social support and resilience (rho = 0.517, p < 0.05). Greater social support was linked to higher levels of resilience in mothers. However, the study has limitations due to the small sample size and potential response bias in data collection methods. Future research is recommended to expand the sample and use more varied data collection methods to enhance the validity of the results. The implications of this study suggest that interventions to improve emotional regulation and social support could effectively enhance the resilience of parents in facing the challenges of caring for toddlers with stunting status, potentially yielding significant positive impacts on the well-being of affected families.

Abstract

Introduction: Lung cancer is characterized by high mortality rates and poor prognosis, further requiring alternative therapies owing to the adverse effects of conventional chemotherapy. Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) has antimicrobial, antiproliferative, and antioxidant properties and can cure cancer. Method: Compounds from rambutan peel were identified through PubChem and analyzed for physicochemical properties using SwissADME. Target proteins were identified using SuperPred and compared with lung cancer–related proteins from GeneCards via Venny. Protein interactions were examined and visualized using STRING and Cytoscape, respectively. Protein activity was analyzed using WebGestalt, and docking simulations were performed using Autodock 4.2.6. Result: Physicochemical analysis of 10 active rambutan compounds via SwissADME showed favorable properties based on Lipinski’s rule, suggesting good oral bioavailability. In total, 276 specific target proteins were related to lung cancer. Cytoscape visualized the 53 core proteins implicated in lung cancer. Gene ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analyses indicated that rambutan compounds are active in lung cancer pathways, particularly nonsmall cell lung cancer. The analysis identified the top 10 interacting proteins STAT3 and CASP3 had the highest interaction value of 28, followed by PIK3CA and NFKB1 at 22, MAPK3, PIK3R1, PTGS2, GRB2, MAPK1, and CASP8. Per docking simulations, 1,2-diphenylethane-1-ol was the highest affinity to STAT3 (−4.78) and CASP3 (−6.75). Conclusion: Rambutan peel compounds have remarkable anticancer potential, particularly with high affinity for STAT3 and CASP3 proteins, based on in silico molecular docking studies.
