Abstract

AbstractHypertension is one of the degenerative disease that must be watched out for, because generally hypertension does not have specific symptoms or sometimes does not cause symptoms in sufferers, so it is also called the silent killer because many people do not know that they have hypertension before checking their blood pressure. Abstract

Religious character development in early childhood is a fundamental aspect of moral and spiritual education, laying the groundwork for lifelong values and behavior. One effective approach to fostering religious character is through habituating acts of worship from an early age. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the dhuha prayer program in shaping the religious character of early childhood learners at kindergarten. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and students in group B at Al-Fikri Integrated Islamic Kindergarten. The object of this study was the process of implementing the dhuha prayer program as a medium for religious character formation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the dhuha prayer program is conducted regularly through a habituation and exemplary approach led by teachers. Children are trained to perform dhuha prayer in congregation, recite short prayers, and internalize the meaning of worship from an early age. The program positively influences the development of religious character, reflected in increased awareness of worship, discipline, and responsibility toward religious practices. Challenges encountered include varying levels of understanding among children and inconsistency in practice at home. Overall, the program is effective in instilling religious values in early childhood education.

Abstract

The paradigm shift in 21st-century education requires mathematics teachers not only to deliver content but also to design learning experiences that are interactive, contextual, and student-centered. This community service program aimed to transform mathematics learning practices in Maros Regency by enhancing teachers’ competencies in designing interactive and dynamic digital learning environments. The program was implemented through main stages: (1) needs analysis and socialization, (2) digital learning design workshops, (3) classroom implementation and mentoring, (4) evaluation and reflection. The activity involved 30 mathematics teachers from junior and senior high schools under the Maros Mathematics Teacher Association (MGMP), facilitated by lecturers and students from Universitas Negeri Makassar. During the workshops, teachers practiced using various digital tools, like GeoGebra Classroom, Canva for Education, and Padlet, to create interactive digital student worksheets (LKPD) based on local Maros contexts. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ competencies, with increase of points between pre- and post-training assessments. Digital LKPDs were produced, with most of them meeting the criteria of "good" to "very good" in terms of interactivity, conceptual clarity, and visual quality. Classroom implementation demonstrated positive changes in student engagement and learning motivation, along with greater teacher confidence in integrating technology into instruction.
