Abstract

Kualitas pengecatan bodi kendaraan sangat ditentukan oleh proses curing di dalam oven, yang bergantung pada kestabilan temperatur dan kelembapan udara. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kecepatan sirkulasi udara terhadap temperatur dan kelembapan relatif di oven pengecatan dengan metode eksperimen kuantitatif. Pengukuran kecepatan udara, temperatur, dan kelembapan dilakukan menggunakan anemometer, sensor temperatur digital, dan sensor kelembapan pada tiga variasi kecepatan kipas (0,91; 2,67; 3,89 m/s) selama 20 menit. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kecepatan sirkulasi dari 0,91 menjadi 3,89 m/s meningkatkan temperatur rata-rata oven dari 52,5 °C menjadi 59,5 °C dan menurunkan kelembapan relatif dari 38,0% menjadi 33,5%. Analisis keseragaman pada tiga titik ukur menghasilkan koefisien variasi < 5%, menandakan distribusi udara yang sangat seragam. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan sistem ventilasi dan sirkulasi udara yang tepat mampu meningkatkan perpindahan panas konveksi, efisiensi curing, dan kualitas pengecatan bodi kendaraan. The quality of vehicle body painting is strongly determined by the curing process in the oven, which depends on stable air temperature and humidity. This study analyzes the effect of air circulation speed on oven temperature and relative humidity using a quantitative experimental method. Air velocity, temperature, and humidity were measured with an anemometer, digital temperature sensor, and humidity sensor at three fan-speed settings (0.91, 2.67, and 3.89 m/s) during 20-minute curing cycles. The results show that increasing air-circulation speed from 0.91 to 3.89 m/s raises the average oven temperature from 52.5 °C to 59.5 °C and reduces relative humidity from 38.0% to 33.5%. Uniformity analysis at three measurement points yields coefficients of variation below 5%, indicating highly uniform airflow distribution. These findings demonstrate that properly designed ventilation and air-circulation systems can enhance convective heat transfer, improve curing efficiency, and increase the consistency of automotive body-paint quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara disiplin belajar dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Program Keahlian (DDPK) Jurusan Teknik Otomotif di SMK Negeri 1 Baso. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional terhadap 49 siswa kelas X. Disiplin belajar diukur menggunakan angket skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, sedangkan hasil belajar diperoleh dari dokumentasi nilai rapor. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa disiplin belajar berada pada kategori baik (M = 162,22) dan hasil belajar pada kategori cukup baik (M = 79,51). Koefisien korelasi r = 0,203 dengan nilai p = 0,163 (> 0,05) menunjukkan hubungan positif namun lemah dan tidak signifikan, dengan kontribusi hanya 4,12% terhadap variasi hasil belajar. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan disiplin belajar perlu disertai penguatan faktor lain untuk mengoptimalkan prestasi belajar siswa SMK. Education plays an important role in improving human resources, and learning discipline is often regarded as a key determinant of achievement. This study investigates the relationship between learning discipline and learning outcomes in the Basic Competency Program (DDPK) subject of the Automotive Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 1 Baso. A quantitative correlational design was applied to 49 tenth-grade students. Learning discipline was measured using a validated Likert-scale questionnaire, whereas learning outcomes were obtained from school records. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and Pearson product–moment correlation. The results show that learning discipline is generally good (M = 162.22) and learning outcomes are fairly good (M = 79.51). The correlation between both variables is positive but weak and not statistically significant (r = 0.203, p = 0.163), explaining only 4.12% of the variance. These findings indicate that improving learning discipline alone is insufficient to enhance vocational students’ academic achievement.

Abstract

Abstract: The transformation of vocational education in the digital era requires a new leadership paradigm capable of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) with sustainability principles. This study highlights the importance of green leadership in managing TVET institutions to align with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to quality education, decent work and economic growth, as well as innovation and infrastructure. The main objective of this research is to formulate a conceptual model of AI-driven green leadership as a strategic pathway for sustainable transformation in vocational institutions. This research employs a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. The quantitative phase involved 148 respondents from 12 vocational institutions in Indonesia using a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure perceptions of green leadership, digital readiness, and AI adoption. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS and further explored through in-depth interviews with 15 institutional leaders as part of the qualitative phase. The results indicate that AI utilization significantly enhances decision-making efficiency, organizational transparency, and green innovation within the TVET environment. Leadership that combines digital intelligence and ecological awareness fosters an adaptive and sustainable organizational culture. The research implies the necessity of policies that promote AI-based green leadership literacy, the development of sustainable digital leadership curricula, support for environmentally friendly data infrastructure, and cross-sector partnerships to ensure that technological innovation aligns with human development and environmental sustainability.Keyword: green_leadership; artificial_intelligence; SDGs.Abstrak: Transformasi pendidikan vokasi di era digital membutuhkan kepemimpinan baru yang mampu mengintegrasikan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dengan prinsip keberlanjutan. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya kepemimpinan hijau dalam pengelolaan TVET agar selaras dengan SDGs 2030, terutama tujuan terkait pendidikan bermutu, pekerjaan layak, dan inovasi. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah merumuskan model konseptual AI-driven green leadership sebagai strategi transformasi berkelanjutan di institusi vokasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan desain sekuensial eksplanatori. Tahap kuantitatif melibatkan 148 responden dari 12 institusi vokasi di Indonesia melalui kuesioner skala Likert yang mengukur persepsi kepemimpinan hijau, kesiapan digital, dan adopsi AI. Analisis data menggunakan SEM-PLS, kemudian diperdalam melalui wawancara dengan 15 pemimpin institusi pada tahap kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan AI meningkatkan efisiensi pengambilan keputusan, transparansi organisasi, serta inovasi hijau di lingkungan TVET. Kepemimpinan yang menggabungkan kecerdasan digital dan kesadaran ekologis mampu menciptakan budaya organisasi yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan. Implikasi penelitian menegaskan pentingnya kebijakan yang mendorong literasi kepemimpinan hijau berbasis AI, pengembangan kurikulum kepemimpinan digital berkelanjutan, dukungan infrastruktur data ramah lingkungan, serta kemitraan lintas sektor untuk memastikan inovasi teknologi sejalan dengan pembangunan manusia dan lingkungan.Kata kunci: kepemimpinan_hijau; kecerdasan_buatan; SDGs

Abstract

Abstract: This study analyzes the function of transformational leadership as a driver of innovation in promoting the adoption of cloud computing to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, this study combines the results of six leading articles published between 2018 and 2025. The analysis results show that transformational leadership, using intellectual stimulation, inspirational motivation, and cultural change, can generate innovation in organizations that directly supports cloud adoption. Cloud computing further enhances organizational responsiveness and innovation capacity, enabling companies to respond more quickly to market changes. The research findings confirm that competitive advantage stems not only from technological aspects but also from the dynamic capabilities shaped by transformational leaders who align cloud resources with strategic objectives. This study contributes to filling a gap in theory by proposing a sequential mediation mechanism linking transformational leadership, organizational innovation, cloud adoption, and competitive advantage. Implications for management recommend that organizations focus on digital-based leadership training and ensure that cloud resource allocation is aligned with corporate strategy. Keyword: Transformational Leadership; Innovation; Cloud Computing; Organizational Agility; Competitive Advantage Abstrak: Penelitian ini menganalisis fungsi kepemimpinan transformasional sebagai penggerak inovasi dalam mendorong penerapan cloud computing untuk meraih keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan. Melalui pendekatan tinjauan pustaka sistematis (SLR), studi ini menggabungkan hasil dari enam artikel terkemuka yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2018 hingga 2025. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional, dengan menggunakan stimulasi intelektual, motivasi inspirasional, serta perubahan budaya, dapat menghasilkan inovasi dalam organisasi yang mendukung langsung penerapan cloud. Cloud computing selanjutnya meningkatkan responsivitas organisasi dan kapasitas inovasinya, sehingga perusahaan lebih cepat dalam merespons perubahan pasar. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa keunggulan kompetitif tidak hanya berasal dari aspek teknologi, tetapi juga dari kemampuan dinamis yang dibentuk oleh pemimpin transformasional yang menyelaraskan sumber daya cloud dengan tujuan strategis. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi dalam mengisi kekurangan teori dengan mengusulkan mekanisme mediasi berurutan yang menghubungkan antara kepemimpinan transformasional, inovasi organisasi, penerapan cloud, dan keunggulan kompetitif. Implikasi bagi manajemen merekomendasikan agar organisasi fokus pada pelatihan kepemimpinan yang berbasis digital dan memastikan alokasi sumber daya cloud selaras dengan strategi perusahaan. Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan Transformasional; Inovasi; Cloud Computing; Kelincahan Organisasi; Keunggulan Bersaing

Abstract

ABSTRACT Vocational education, particularly in the field of Electrical Installation Engineering, requires a high level of practical skills, including electric motor installation. However, limitations in practical facilities, safety risks, and limited student exploration time often pose significant challenges in conventional learning at Vocational High Schools (SMKs). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Simurelay, an Android-based simulation media, as an alternative for practical electric motor installation learning. The method used is a systematic review of 10 relevant studies published between 2014 and 2025. Data were analyzed using content analysis to identify improvements in conceptual understanding, procedural skills, and students’ practical readiness. The review results indicate that Simurelay consistently enhances the ability to read control diagrams, understand current flow, master component functions, and develop troubleshooting skills. This media also reduces cognitive load, strengthens mental models, increases students’ motivation and confidence, and provides a safe practice environment without equipment damage risk. The use of Simurelay supports learner-centered learning, integrating principles of multimedia learning, inquiry-based learning, and constructivism. Thus, Simurelay proves to be an effective, adaptive, and relevant pedagogical tool for modern vocational education and has the potential to expand the transformation of technical learning in SMKs. Further research is recommended to develop more advanced simulation features, integrate VR/AR, and evaluate the long-term impact on graduates’ workforce readiness. ABSTRAK Pendidikan vokasional, khususnya pada bidang Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik, menuntut penguasaan keterampilan praktis yang tinggi, termasuk instalasi motor listrik. Namun, keterbatasan sarana praktik, risiko keselamatan, dan rendahnya waktu eksplorasi siswa sering menjadi hambatan signifikan dalam pembelajaran konvensional di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah efektivitas penggunaan Simurelay, sebuah media simulasi berbasis Android, sebagai alternatif pembelajaran praktik instalasi motor listrik. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic review terhadap 10 penelitian relevan yang dipublikasikan antara 2014–2025. Analisis data dilakukan melalui content analysis untuk mengidentifikasi peningkatan pemahaman konseptual, keterampilan prosedural, dan kesiapan praktik siswa. Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa Simurelay secara konsisten meningkatkan kemampuan membaca diagram kontrol, memahami alur arus, menguasai fungsi komponen, serta keterampilan troubleshooting. Media ini juga menurunkan beban kognitif, memperkuat mental model, meningkatkan motivasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa, serta memungkinkan praktik aman tanpa risiko kerusakan alat. Penggunaan Simurelay mendukung pembelajaran learner-centered, mengintegrasikan prinsip multimedia learning, inquiry-based learning, dan constructivism. Dengan demikian, Simurelay terbukti menjadi media pedagogis yang efektif, adaptif, dan relevan untuk pendidikan vokasional modern, serta berpotensi memperluas transformasi pembelajaran teknik di SMK. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk pengembangan fitur simulasi lebih kompleks, integrasi VR/AR, dan evaluasi dampak jangka panjang pada kesiapan kerja lulusan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the industrial internship program implementation in the Industrial Automation Engineering Expertise Program at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Cileungsi. The evaluation was conducted using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model to obtain a comprehensive overview of the suitability of objectives, implementation readiness, internship process, and student outcomes. This study used a mixed-approach with a total sampling technique involving 50 students in grades XI and XII, as well as qualitative informants consisting of supervising teachers, industrial supervisors, and the head of the expertise program. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that the industrial internship implementation has not been fully effective in supporting the development of students' technical competencies. The main problem lies in the mismatch between student placement and Industrial Automation Engineering expertise, resulting in many students not engaging in relevant work activities such as PLC programming, wiring panels, instrumentation, pneumatics, and industrial control systems. Instead, some students are placed in non-technical jobs that do not contribute to the improvement of automation skills. Nevertheless, the internship program still has a positive impact on the development of soft skills such as discipline, communication, and adapting to work culture. The study concluded that internship effectiveness would increase if the placement system were improved through student competency mapping, alignment with industry needs, and expanding partnerships with companies with work units in the automation sector. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas implementasi program magang industri pada Program Keahlian Teknik Otomasi Industri SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Cileungsi. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) untuk memperoleh gambaran menyeluruh terkait kesesuaian tujuan, kesiapan pelaksanaan, proses magang, serta hasil yang dicapai siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran dengan teknik total sampling yang melibatkan 50 siswa kelas XI dan XII, serta informan kualitatif yang terdiri dari guru pembimbing, pembimbing industri, dan kepala program keahlian. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan magang industri belum sepenuhnya efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan kompetensi teknis siswa. Permasalahan utama terletak pada ketidaksesuaian penempatan siswa dengan bidang keahlian Teknik Otomasi Industri, sehingga banyak siswa tidak terlibat dalam aktivitas kerja yang relevan seperti pemrograman PLC, wiring panel, instrumentasi, pneumatik, dan sistem kontrol industri. Sebaliknya, sebagian siswa ditempatkan pada pekerjaan non-teknis yang tidak berkontribusi pada peningkatan keterampilan otomasi. Meskipun demikian, program magang masih memberikan dampak positif pada pengembangan soft skills seperti kedisiplinan, komunikasi, dan adaptasi budaya kerja. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa efektivitas magang akan meningkat apabila sistem penempatan diperbaiki melalui pemetaan kompetensi siswa, penyelarasan kebutuhan industri, serta perluasan kemitraan dengan perusahaan yang memiliki unit kerja sesuai bidang otomasi.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited availability of practical facilities in motor installation learning at vocational high schools, which reduces students’ practice frequency and leads to suboptimal mastery of concepts and psychomotor skills, particularly in the Direct Online (DOL) motor starter topic. The focus of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the SimuRelay digital simulation application as a learning medium for improving students’ learning outcomes on DOL material. The study employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 32 students of class XI TITL 2 at SMK Negeri 8 Palembang. The research procedures included instrument preparation, implementation of simulation-based learning, administration of pretest and posttest, and psychomotor assessment using an observation rubric. Data were analyzed by comparing pretest and posttest scores and conducting descriptive analysis for the psychomotor domain. The results showed an increase in the average score from 61.6 on the pretest to 80.2 on the posttest, with all students (100%) demonstrating improvement. The highest score increased from 75 to 90, while the lowest rose from 50 to 60, indicating that SimuRelay-based learning had a uniformly positive impact on all students. Psychomotor observations revealed improvement in students’ understanding of contactor working logic, self-holding circuits, and troubleshooting steps. It is concluded that the SimuRelay digital simulation effectively enhances cognitive learning outcomes and supports the development of basic practical skills, making it a relevant alternative learning medium for schools with limited laboratory facilities. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan sarana praktik pada pembelajaran instalasi motor listrik di SMK yang menyebabkan rendahnya frekuensi latihan siswa dan berdampak pada kurang optimalnya penguasaan konsep serta keterampilan psikomotorik, khususnya pada materi rangkaian Direct Online (DOL). Fokus penelitian ini adalah menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi simulasi digital SimuRelay sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi DOL. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest yang melibatkan 32 siswa kelas XI TITL 2 SMK Negeri 8 Palembang. Langkah penelitian meliputi tahap persiapan instrumen, pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis simulasi, pemberian pretest dan posttest, serta penilaian psikomotorik melalui rubrik observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan perbandingan nilai pretest-posttest serta analisis deskriptif untuk ranah psikomotorik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 61,6 pada pretest menjadi 80,2 pada posttest, dengan seluruh siswa (100%) mengalami peningkatan skor. Nilai tertinggi meningkat dari 75 menjadi 90, sedangkan nilai terendah dari 50 menjadi 60, menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui SimuRelay memberi dampak merata pada seluruh siswa. Secara psikomotorik, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan dalam memahami logika kerja kontaktor, alur self holding, dan identifikasi gangguan rangkaian. Disimpulan bahwa simulasi digital Simurelay efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dan mendukung penguatan keterampilan dasar praktik, sehingga dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang relevan pada kondisi sekolah dengan keterbatasan fasilitas.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the use of Virtual Reality (VR) technology in aviation education, with a focus on improving technical and non-technical skills, implementation challenges, and transferring skills to the real world. The method used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which collects and analyzes scientific articles related to the use of VR in flight training. The results show that VR is effective in improving technical skills, such as aircraft navigation and aircraft control, as well as non-technical skills, such as decision-making and team communication in emergency situations. However, the main challenges facing aviation education institutions are cost and infrastructure, although VR provides significant benefits in terms of training flexibility and reduced reliance on physical simulators. Additionally, while VR improves skills in simulation, the transfer of those skills to the real world still requires further evaluation. In conclusion, VR has great potential to optimize flight training, but it requires integration with hands-on training in the field to ensure effective skill transfer. The study also suggests further research to develop more adaptive and effective VR training models in the context of aviation education.

Abstract

Vocational education plays a critical role in preparing students to meet industry demands and enter the workforce effectively. This study aims to evaluate the One Heart Education Program in the Motorcycle Engineering and Business expertise competency at SMKN 1 Luak District, focusing on context, input, process, and product aspects, using the CIPP evaluation model. The study examines whether the program has been managed optimally. Employing a mixed-method approach, the research uses purposive sampling, involving 36 respondents, 26 for quantitative data and 10 as qualitative informants. Data collection methods include questionnaires and interviews. The evaluation results show that the program achieved an overall score of 72.24, categorized as sufficient, indicating suboptimal management. In detail, the context aspect related to program objectives is rated as poor, though the environmental aspect is good. The input, process, and product aspects are also found to be lacking. Key recommendations include optimizing the context aspect by refining program goals, adopting a centralized approach in the input aspect to explore students’ potential, enhancing the learning process in the process aspect to better align with industrial standards, and improving outcomes in the product aspect. These improvements aim to enhance the overall effectiveness and impact of the One Heart Education Program.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-module based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) for the subject of Embedded Systems that can be accessed via Android devices. The development of this e-module is motivated by the need for interactive, contextual, and project-based learning materials, particularly to enhance students' competencies in Industrial Electronics Engineering that are valid, practical, and effective for the Embedded Systems subject in Grade X Industrial Electronics Engineering at SMKN 1 Sumbar. The development of this e-module is intended to enhance students' understanding, motivation, and independent learning, thereby improving their learning outcomes. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), employing the 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Primary data in this study were obtained from validators, teachers, and students. The data were analysed descriptively to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed learning media. The validity test results showed that this learning media, with a media aspect score of 0.895 and a material aspect score of 0.960, was deemed valid by experts. The media was also deemed practical, with a practicality score of 98.94% from teacher responses and 95.25% from student responses. In the effectiveness test, the Gain Score obtained was 0.69, placing it in the moderate category. Meanwhile, the t-test showed a Sig value (2-tailed) of 0.002 (2-tailed < 0.05) and a t-count value of 3.375 (t-count > t-table), indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between students using this learning media (experimental class) and those not using it (control class). Thus, this PjBL-based e-module can be used as an interactive teaching material alternative that is suitable for 21 st-century learning needs and is valid, practical, and effective.
