Abstract

Nursing students have affected by the COVID-19 pandemic through many changes in academic learning process. Yet, in the daily life, they also need to adjust the new life which might suppress several students.  In this study, presumed that factors including gender, religion, level of semester, living status, and living arrangement would be related to the nursing student’s stress. A total of 237 nursing students from Bachelor degree, which have age higher than 17, and actively registered as students, have been involved in this study. The result showed that more than 50% respondents were female and experienced moderate level of stress. The result from Chi-Square test described that only one factor, the level of semester that has been related to the stress level. Other demographical factors were not statistically significant to the stress level.  In each semester, students might face different stressors and used different coping strategies to deal with. This study highlighted the urge of need for nurses who works at the university healthcare centre or community nurses in designing stress management for nursing students based on their year academic level since the stressor might be different.

Abstract

Self-harm is an increasingly common phenomenon among adolescents. This can include cutting the skin, hitting oneself, or harming the body in other ways, which is generally done in response to emotional distress or inability to manage stress. This study aims to identify self-harm behavior among adolescents and analyze the differences in self-harm between male and female adolescents. The sample in this study consisted of 600 junior high school students in Palembang City selected using simple random sampling (SRS) techniques. The instrument used is the self-harm inventory (SHI) questionnaire developed by the researcher and has a reliability of 0.93 (very good). Data analysis used descriptive statistics and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that adolescents’ self-harm behavior was in the very low category (mean=42.11, SD=12.70), and there was no significant difference in the self-harm of adolescent boys and adolescent girls (Sig. equal variance=0.711). Nevertheless, counseling teachers in schools must take preventive actions to prevent self-harm behavior in adolescents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh observasi awal yang menunjukan rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik, dapat dilihat berdasarkan nilai rata-rata hasil capaian awal pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila sebesar  30%. Hal ini menunjukkan masih rendahnya hasil belajar. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik adalah model Think Pair Share. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas III SDN 108/II Perumnas yang berjumlah 20 peserta didik. Dalam pelaksanaannya, penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus setiap siklus memiliki dua kali  pertemuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester II tahun 2025 di SDN 108/II Perumnas. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas III SDN 108/II Perumnas, hal ini  dilihat dari proses mengajar pendidik pada siklus I pertemuan 1 mencapai 69% dan pertemuan 2 mencapai 86%. Sedangkan siklus II pertemuan 1 menjadi 90% dan pertemuan 2 mencapai 100%  dengan kategori sangat baik. Kemudian, proses belajar peserta didik dari 50% menjadi 65% pada siklus I, lalu meningkat dari 80% menjadi 90% pada siklus II. Hasil belajar peserta didik awal hanya 30%, kemudian menjadi 75% pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 90% pada siklus II. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan Maka penelitian tindakan kelas dalam penggunaan model Think Pair Share berbantu media video animasi pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut.

Abstract

This study examines the responsiveness of food expenditure shares to income changes among urban households in Sulawesi using income elasticity analysis. Employing cross-sectional microdata from the 2023 National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS), comprising 13,933 urban households across six Sulawesi provinces, we calculate arc elasticity for nine income group transitions. The results reveal predominantly negative elasticity values ranging from -0.008 to -0.504, confirming patterns consistent with Engel’s Law. The elasticity pattern exhibits an inverted-curve shape: weak in low-income groups (-0.0103 to -0.091), strengthening in middle-income groups (-0.2 to -0.5), and moderating in the highest transition (-0.059 to -0.268). This reflects critical threshold effects, where middle-income households demonstrate the strongest responsiveness in reallocating expenditures from food to non-food categories. Substantial interprovincial variations emerged, with Gorontalo exhibiting the strongest elasticity (-0.504), while Central Sulawesi showed unique patterns, including positive elasticity at specific transitions. Elasticity values consistently below one confirm food as a necessary good across all provinces. These findings provide crucial policy insights: low-income households require targeted protection through subsidies and social assistance, whereas middle-income households would benefit most from income growth policies. Provincial heterogeneity underscores the need for context-specific rather than uniform regional interventions.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of the effectiveness of the Full Day School system on character formation among students at SD Muhammadiyah 23 Medan. The increasing moral degradation and juvenile delinquency in society have prompted the implementation of Full Day School as a solution to reinforce students’ character by extending school hours to 9-10 hours daily. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the contribution of Full Day School effectiveness in shaping student character. Employing a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis, data were collected through validated questionnaires from a sample of 170 students. The results show a significant positive effect of Full Day School effectiveness on character formation, with a regression coefficient of 2.390 and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.646, indicating that 64.6% of the variance in character development can be explained by the Full Day School system. Thus, Full Day School plays a crucial role in fostering values such as discipline, honesty, religiosity, tolerance, and social cooperation. The study indicates the necessity of support from both school and family environments to optimize character education. These findings offer practical insights for educational institutions aiming to improve students’ moral development through extended learning hours and structured activities.

Abstract

Anemia defisiensi besi pada ibu hamil masih menjadi masalah kesehatan serius di Indonesia, dengan prevalensi mencapai 48,9%. Kondisi ini meningkatkan risiko komplikasi seperti berat bayi lahir rendah (BBLR) dan perdarahan pascapersalinan. Upaya medis melalui Tablet Tambah Darah (TTD) sering terkendala masalah kepatuhan akibat efek samping mual. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi nutrisi komplementer yang aman dan efektif. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin (Hb) serta pengetahuan ibu hamil trimester III melalui program pendampingan holistik dan pemberian kombinasi madu serta kurma. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di wilayah Batu Besar, Kota Batam, dengan melibatkan 20 responden ibu hamil trimester III. Metode yang digunakan mencakup edukasi kesehatan interaktif dan intervensi nutrisi berupa pemberian madu (1-2 sendok makan/hari) dan kurma (3-7 butir/hari) selama dua minggu. Kadar Hb diukur menggunakan alat HemoCue sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata kadar hemoglobin yang signifikan, dari 10,1 g/dL (anemia ringan) menjadi 11,2 g/dL. Terjadi peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 1,1 g/dL (10,9%) tanpa adanya responden yang mengalami penurunan kadar Hb. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan kepatuhan konsumsi karena intervensi ini tidak menimbulkan efek mual dan memberikan energi tambahan bagi ibu hamil. Simpulan: Pendampingan kelas ibu hamil yang dikombinasikan dengan pemberian madu dan kurma efektif dalam meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin dan pengetahuan gizi ibu hamil. Pendekatan holistik berbasis pangan lokal ini dapat menjadi alternatif strategi yang terjangkau dalam pencegahan anemia pada kehamilan trimester III.

Abstract

The capital market serves as a vital investment channel where stock prices exhibit dynamic fluctuations influenced by macroeconomic factors and market sentiments. This study estimates daily stock prices of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), a leading palm oil company, using hybrid ARIMA-ARCH-GARCH models. Employing quantitative time series analysis, the population comprises all daily AALI stock prices from January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2025 (1,145 observations), sampled purposively via Investing.com data. Analysis techniques include ADF stationarity tests, ACF-PACF correlograms, AIC/SC/HQ model selection, ARCH-LM heteroskedasticity tests, and forecasting accuracy evaluation. Results identify ARIMA(1,1,1) as optimal for mean modeling and GARCH(2,1) for volatility, achieving 53% average forecasting accuracy for July 31-August 5, 2025. The hybrid model effectively captures price patterns despite external influences.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan komponen modul ajar dalam kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar, serta mengidentifikasi kelebihan dan kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Data diperoleh dari berbagai metode kualitatif dengan sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan dokumen resmi yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui proses membaca, menafsirkan, dan mengorganisasi data secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar dalam kurikulum merdeka memiliki peran penting sebagai panduan pembelajaran yang fleksibel, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Komponen modul ajar terdiri atas informasi umum, komponen inti, dan lampiran yang masing-masing berfungsi untuk mendukung proses belajar yang efektif dan bermakna. Penerapan modul ajar bahasa Indonesia terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa melalui kegiatan membaca, menulis, menyimak, dan berbicara secara terpadu. Namun, tantangan masih muncul terutama dalam hal pemahaman guru terhadap struktur modul, keterbatasan sarana, serta minimnya pelatihan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan kompetensi dan pendampingan berkelanjutan agar guru mampu mengembangkan dan menerapkan modul ajar secara optimal sesuai semangat kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Background. Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which aims to encourage student involvement in community empowerment through a participatory approach and based on local needs. Aims. This service activity was carried out in Gegesik Wetan Village, Gegesik District, Cirebon Regency, with a focus on increasing public knowledge in the health sector, empowering the local economy through strengthening MSMEs, and improving environmental safety. Methods. The method used in this activity is a qualitative descriptive approach with a participatory method through the stages of field observation, problem identification, program design, and implementation of activities involving the community and village government. Result. The programs implemented include socialization on anti-bullying, juvenile delinquency, skin health, Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), stunting prevention, prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) and chikungunya, and reproductive health education in schools and communities. In addition, MSME empowerment is carried out through the One Village One Product (OVOP) approach, with assistance to traditional geplak food business actors in managing Business Identification Numbers (NIB), halal certification, and product identity development, including brand and logo development. Another program is community empowerment through socialization of the decile concept and training in making ecoenzymes as well as improving traffic safety through the installation of convex glass at several accident-prone road points. Conclusion. The results of the activity show an increase in public knowledge and awareness of health, an increase in the understanding of MSME actors regarding the importance of business legality and product branding, and the creation of preventive efforts to improve village traffic safety. Overall, this KKN activity makes a positive contribution to community empowerment and the sustainable development of local potential in Gegesik Wetan Village.

Abstract

Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter, keterampilan sosial, dan kesejahteraan emosional peserta didik. Meski tersedia dalam bentuk klasikal, individual, dan kelompok, banyak sekolah menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan konselor, rendahnya pemahaman siswa, dan ketidaksesuaian metode layanan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas ketiga jenis layanan BK secara komparatif, untuk mengidentifikasi kelebihan, keterbatasan, dan dampaknya terhadap perkembangan akademik, sosial, dan emosional siswa, sekaligus memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi implementasi BK yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review, dengan pencarian 20 artikel jurnal terindeks dari 2022–2026 yang relevan dengan pendidikan formal di Indonesia. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif menggunakan thematic synthesis dan comparative analysis, menyoroti pengaruh layanan klasikal, individual, dan kelompok terhadap aspek akademik, sosial, dan emosional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan klasikal efektif untuk penyampaian informasi, motivasi akademik, dan penguatan pengetahuan moral, layanan individual unggul dalam penanganan masalah personal dan perencanaan karir, sedangkan layanan kelompok mendukung keterampilan sosial, empati, dan problem-solving. Kombinasi ketiga layanan memberikan hasil optimal, memungkinkan intervensi yang komprehensif, adaptif, dan holistik terhadap kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi layanan BK sebagai strategi utama dalam pengembangan karakter dan kesejahteraan peserta didik.
