Abstract

The increasing use of sex dolls raises ethical, social, and religious concerns, particularly in Islamic discourse. While Islamic scholarship has extensively discussed sexuality and statues (tamatsil), there remains a research gap in analyzing their intersection within modern technology. This study examines the permissibility of sex dolls within Islamic ethics and law by integrating Qur’anic interpretation and Maqasid al-Shariah. A qualitative hermeneutical and thematic (tafsir maudhu’i) approach is employed to analyze Surah Al-Ma'arij (70:29-31), Surah Saba’ (34:13), and Surah Al-Anbiya' (21:52). Classical and contemporary exegeses, along with fatwas from Dar al-Ifta' Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia, provide legal insights. Findings indicate that sex dolls contradict Islamic ethical principles, particularly hifz al-‘ird (preserving dignity), hifz an-nasl (preserving lineage), and hifz al-aql (preserving intellect). Fatwas classify sex dolls as haram due to their potential to normalize unethical behavior and disrupt marital relationships.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly influenced the transformation of administrative processes in the education sector. At MA Al-Aqsha Massaile, the student admission process had previously been conducted manually, leading to data management inefficiencies, extended queues, and delays in selection result announcements. This study aims to design and implement a web-based student admission information system to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user satisfaction. The research adopted a qualitative and system development approach, involving interviews with school administrators to identify workflow challenges, followed by system development using the waterfall model. System testing and evaluation were conducted through user trials involving 30 respondents, including prospective students, parents, and school staff. The results indicate that 93.3% of users rated the system as "very effective" in simplifying the registration process, while 90% found the user interface intuitive and easy to navigate. Furthermore, 86.7% of respondents agreed that the system reduced errors in data input and improved the overall registration experience. These findings confirm that the web-based system significantly improves administrative efficiency and user experience in student admissions. Future recommendations include integrating the system with academic databases and implementing mobile-friendly features to support wider accessibility.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of learning media in the teaching and learning process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Learning media is a tool that can facilitate the delivery of material and improve learners' understanding. In the context of PAI, learning media has an important role to visualize abstract concepts and attract students' interest in learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation study methods. Data were collected from schools that implemented PAI learning media, both visual, audio, and audiovisual media. The results showed that the use of PAI learning media can increase interest in learning, facilitate understanding of the material, and create a more pleasant learning atmosphere. However, there are some obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as teacher competence in using learning media. This study provides recommendations for improving facilities and teacher training in optimizing the use of PAI learning media. The findings of this study contribute to the development of more effective and interesting learning strategies in PAI subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop PAI curriculum objectives that are more relevant, contextual, and comprehensive. The research method used was a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature study, observation, and in-depth interviews with educational experts and practitioners. The data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using thematic and statistical analysis. The results showed that the objectives of the PAI curriculum developed should include aspects of strengthening aqidah, deepening religious knowledge, practicing worship, forming noble morals, and developing life skills based on Islamic values. The principles used in the development of PAI curriculum objectives include the balance between spiritual and material aspects, contextuality, and relevance to the needs of the times. The development strategies applied include revitalizing the curriculum, improving the quality of teachers, strengthening partnerships with parents and communities, and utilizing technology in learning. The implication of this study is the production of PAI curriculum objectives that are more comprehensive, in line with the times, and able to answer global challenges. The PAI curriculum developed is expected to provide adequate provision for students in facing global challenges and become a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, noble, and able to contribute positively to society.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and develop Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials in the field of fiqh taught in grade VII of Madrasah Tsanawiyah based on the 2013 Curriculum. Fiqh is one of the branches of science in Islam that studies the laws of Islamic law in depth. In the context of learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah, fiqh material needs to be studied and developed to suit the times and the needs of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with the methods of literature study, observation of learning, and interviews with fiqh teachers and experts. Data were collected from relevant primary and secondary sources, such as fiqh books, PAI curriculum, and learning materials used in Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The results showed that the fiqh materials taught in the seventh grade of Madrasah Tsanawiyah are still general and less contextualized. Therefore, it is necessary to deepen and develop the material to make it more applicable and in accordance with the times, for example by adding examples of contemporary fiqh cases and linking them to the daily lives of students. This study provides recommendations on strategies for deepening and developing fiqh materials, as well as their implications for a more effective and meaningful PAI learning process for students.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji secara komprehensif biografi dan pemikiran Buya Hamka dengan fokus utama pada analisis karya monumentalnya, Tasawuf Modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kontribusi pemikiran Hamka dalam mendefinisikan ulang konsep tasawuf yang kontekstual dan aplikatif dalam kehidupan masyarakat modern. Melalui pendekatan normatif-teologis, historis-filosofis, dan sosiologis-psikologis, artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa tasawuf versi Hamka bukanlah bentuk eskapisme spiritual, melainkan sarana pembentukan karakter, penyucian jiwa, dan penyeimbang kehidupan material dan spiritual. Hamka menekankan pentingnya integrasi antara syariat dan hakikat, serta menolak bentuk tasawuf yang menyimpang dari ajaran Al-Qur’an dan Sunnah. Pemikiran tasawuf yang ditawarkan Hamka memiliki relevansi tinggi dalam menjawab krisis spiritual, degradasi moral, dan kegelisahan batin manusia modern. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Tasawuf Modern adalah panduan spiritual yang aktual dan solutif dalam membentuk individu Muslim yang berakhlak mulia dan masyarakat yang berkeadaban.Kata Kunci: Buya Hamka, Tasawuf Modern, spiritualitas Islam, pembentukan akhlak, krisis modernitas

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji secara komprehensif biografi, pemikiran keagamaan, serta kontribusi pendidikan dan sosial-politik Syekh Sulaiman ar-Rasuli (Inyiak Canduang), seorang ulama besar Minangkabau abad ke-20 yang berperan penting dalam mempertahankan tradisi Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah di tengah arus modernisme Islam. Melalui pendekatan historis-filosofis dan studi pustaka, kajian ini menyoroti peran Syekh Sulaiman dalam mendirikan Madrasah Tarbiyah Islamiyah (MTI) dan organisasi Tarbiyah Islamiyah (TI), yang menjadi pelopor sistem pendidikan Islam berbasis kitab kuning, adab, dan sanad keilmuan. Pemikirannya mencerminkan sintesis antara ortodoksi fikih, spiritualitas tasawuf, dan respon terhadap tantangan modernitas. MTI berkembang menjadi lembaga pendidikan yang tersebar luas dan mampu beradaptasi dengan kurikulum nasional serta tuntutan digitalisasi tanpa kehilangan identitas tradisionalnya. Dengan demikian, tulisan ini menegaskan bahwa warisan intelektual dan spiritual Syekh Sulaiman ar-Rasuli memiliki relevansi kuat dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang berbasis nilai, kontekstual, dan berkelanjutan di era modern.Kata kunci: Syekh Sulaiman ar-Rasuli, Madrasah Tarbiyah Islamiyah, pendidikan Islam tradisional, Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah, tarekat, adab, sanad keilmuan

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of providing fermented coffee husk waste on the growth performance of Biromaru Kampung chickens. The high price of conventional feed has led to the exploration of more economical alternatives, one of which is the utilisation of agricultural waste, such as coffee waste. The nutritional value of coffee husk waste can be increased and its antinutrient content reduced through fermentation using microorganisms. The study was carried out for six weeks in Palu, Central Sulawesi, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and five replications: P0 (basal feed), P1 (90% P0 + 10% non-fermented coffee waste), P2 (90% P0 + 10% fermented coffee waste with Saccharomyces cerevisiae), and P3 (90% P0 + 10% fermented coffee waste with Effective Microorganisms 4). Feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion ratio were measured as the variables of interest. The results indicated that feed consumption was significantly increased in treatments P1 and P3, while body weight gain and feed conversion ratio were not significantly affected. Providing fermented coffee waste as an alternative feed for Biromaru Kampung chickens resulted in a significant increase in feed consumption, particularly in treatments P1 (10% non-fermented coffee waste) and P3 (10% fermented coffee waste with Effective Microorganisms 4). Although body weight gain did not differ significantly between treatments, there was a tendency for an increase in P1 and P3. Additionally, treatment P3 demonstrated the best feed conversion efficiency compared to the other treatments. Overall, fermented coffee husk waste has the potential to increase feed consumption and efficiency. However, its impact on body weight gain still needs further research to understand the mechanism of its influence in more depth.

Abstract

Article 45 of the Law on the Elimination of Domestic Violence (UU PKDRT) regulates the penal sanctions for the criminal act of psychological violence, stipulating a maximum imprisonment of four months for minor offenses and up to three years for serious offenses. However, custodial sentences are deemed less effective, as they do not fully provide benefits to the parties involved, namely the victim, the perpetrator, the household, and society at large. Meanwhile, the 2023 Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP 2023) introduces a new paradigm of sentencing that emphasizes restorative and rehabilitative justice, shifting from a solely punitive orientation to one that also considers victim recovery and offender rehabilitation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the sentencing system under KUHP 2023 through the lens of Jeremy Bentham’s utilitarianism theory. The research employs a normative juridical method, utilizing statutory, conceptual, and case-based approaches. Primary legal materials include the UU PKDRT and KUHP 2023, while the conceptual framework is grounded in Bentham's utilitarianism. As tertiary support, interviews were conducted with three judges from the court of first instance. The findings indicate that alternative sanctions such as rehabilitation, probation, or community service are more effective in preventing recidivism and promoting social balance. The role of judges is pivotal in applying more proportionate sentencing, including through the mechanism of rechterlijk pardon (judicial pardon) in certain cases that meet legal and humanitarian considerations. Through this approach, the new sentencing system is expected to be more justice-oriented, to provide better protection for victims, and to serve as a more effective means of preventing psychological violence in domestic settings

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning/PjBL) terhadap kemampuan literasi siswa sekolah dasar melalui metode studi literatur. Literasi sebagai kompetensi dasar sangat penting untuk menunjang keberhasilan belajar dan pengembangan potensi siswa. Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar secara aktif, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual sehingga mampu meningkatkan keterampilan literasi secara menyeluruh, mulai dari literasi membaca, menulis, numerasi, hingga literasi sains. Melalui tinjauan literatur dari berbagai penelitian terkini, ditemukan bahwa penerapan PjBL memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi siswa di berbagai mata pelajaran dan jenjang kelas. Selain itu, PjBL juga meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi adanya kebutuhan untuk integrasi model PjBL secara lebih sistematis dan berkelanjutan dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar agar hasil literasi dapat lebih optimal. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada pendekatan komprehensif yang mengkaji berbagai aspek literasi dalam konteks PjBL di sekolah dasar, sekaligus menyoroti gap penelitian sebelumnya yang lebih fokus pada satu jenis literasi saja. Dengan demikian, hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi guru, praktisi pendidikan, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi siswa sekolah dasar.
