Abstract

The background of this research is related to the low performance of elementary school teachers in Cluster 2, Plampang District. The main problem is the ability of the principal's managerial skills in carrying out his functions.  The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the principal's managerial application on teacher performance. This research was conducted using a non-experimental quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were 62 people. The instrument used in this study was to use a closed questionnaire with answer choices on a likert scale of 4, which means that respondents can only choose one answer. The data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive analysis and simple regression analysis. The result showed: (1) the principal's managerial implementation process towards improving teacher’s performance has gone well, (2) there is a managerial correlation of the principal to teacher’s performance, as evidenced by the results of the counting test of 9,151 > ttabel 1.66. The correlation of the principal's managerial influence on teacher’s performance was 0.687 in the strong category. The magnitude of the effect of the principal's managerial effectiveness on teacher’s performance was 58.3%, (3) there is an influence of the principal's managerial effectiveness on teacher’s performance, as evidenced by the results of the paired sample t-test showing that the significance amounts to 0.000 < 0.05, so there is a noticeable or significant difference between the principal's managerial influence on teacher performance. The research advice is for the headmaster to continuously improve his managerial skills, and for teachers it is advisable to always improve his performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Untuk menganalisis korelasi antara implemetasi Strategi Pembealajaran Berbasis Lingkungan terhadap peningkatkan motivasi  belajar siswa kelas XII IPS SMAN 1 Lape 2) Untuk menganalisis korelasi antara implementasi strategi pembelajran berbasis lingkungan terhadap peningkatan Hasil belajar  siswa XII IPS 3) Untuk menganalisis efektiftivitas implementasi Strategi pembelajaran Berbasis Lingkungan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII IPS. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan peneliti yaitu penelitian Kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimental untuk mengukur hubungan, pengaruh perbedaan variabel-variabel pembelajaran berbasis lingungan (X1), Motivasi belajar (X2) serta Hasil belajar (Y). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Lape Sumbawa  .Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui hasil pretes dan hasil postes serta kuisioner (angket ) dan Dokumentasi, selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan melakukan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas , uji tingkat kesukaran soal, uji daya pembeda soal, uji normalitas gain, uji korelasi dan regresi linier sedrhana melalui program SPSS versi 26. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan terdapat korelasi strategi pembelajarn berbasis lingkungan terhadap motivasi belajar (sig = 0,004 < 0,05 ) dan hasil belajar (sig 0,085 > 0,05 ). Jika nilai signifikan F < 0,05 maka H0ditolak dan H1 diterima. Jika nilai F > 0,05 maka Ho diterima dan H? ditolak. Variabel motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan sedangkan variabel strategi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan tidak memiliki korelasi secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. Hasil analisis efektivitas implementasi strategi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan menunjukkan koefisien determinasi atau R square sebesar 0,06, yang artinya efektivitas belajar meningkat sebesar 6%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi/hubungan antara strategi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan terhadap motivasi belajar dan tidak ada korelasi strategi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar, sedangkan untuk efektivitas belajar Akuntansi dengan penerapan Strategi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 6% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. The Experience of Teaching Modern Physics Using PhET Virtual Simulations: An Analysis of Student Reasoning Skill Performance Abstract This study aims to: 1) To analyze the correlation between the implementation of Environment-Based Learning Strategies on increasing the learning motivation of class XII IPS students of SMAN 1 Lape 2) To analyze the correlation between the implementation of environment-based learning strategies on increasing student learning outcomes XII IPS 3) To analyze the effectiveness implementation of Environment-Based learning strategies in increasing learning motivation and learning outcomes of class XII IPS students. The type of research used by researchers is quantitative research using experimental methods to measure relationships, the effect of differences in environment-based learning variables (X1), learning motivation (X2) and learning outcomes (Y). This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Lape Sumbawa. Data collection procedures were carried out through the results of pretest and posttest results as well as questionnaires (questionnaires) and documentation, then the data were analyzed by conducting validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, item difficulty level tests, test of differentiating power of questions, gain normality test, correlation and regression tests simple linear method through the SPSS version 26 program. The results showed that there was a correlation between environment-based learning strategies on learning motivation (sig = 0.004 <0.05) and learning outcomes (sig 0.085 > 0.05). If the significant value of F <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. If the value of F > 0.05 then Ho is accepted and H? is rejected. The learning motivation variable has a significant influence while the environment-based learning strategy variable does not have a significant correlation with learning outcomes. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of implementing environment-based learning strategies show a coefficient of determination or R square of 0.06, which means that learning effectiveness increases by 6%. So it can be concluded that there is a correlation/relationship between environment-based learning strategies on learning motivation and there is no correlation of environment-based learning strategies on learning outcomes, while for the effectiveness of learning Accounting with the application of environment-based learning strategies has increased by 6% and the rest is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The technology of learning in 4.0 requires students to be more active in obtaining information both at school and community. In order to engage students how to use their own effort and hard work to find knowledge as a source of learning, Indonesia has already implemented e-learning media. However, learning media is still less effective in influencing the way of learning in SMA Negeri 1 Moyo Hulu, it because of motivation and learning achievement to decrease. Therefore, research was conducted on the application of blended learning using Edmodo application to increase motivation and achievement in learning physics in first grade of SMA Negeri 1 Moyo Hulu. The purpose of this research are;  1) To analyze the factors that can increase motivation to learn physics in first grade of SMA Negeri 1 Moyo Hulu, 2) to identify the differences between  the application of blended learning using Edmodo application and conventional to increase learning motivation and achievement of SMA Negeri 1 Moyo Hulu, and 3) To analyze the effectiveness of applying blended learning using Edmodo application to increase learning motivation and achievement of SMA Negeri 1 Moyo Hulu. The researcher used quasi-experimental research with Nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is cluster sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation. Instrument test using validity test and reliability test. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using factor analysis techniques, different test analysis (paired sample t test), and effectiveness analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it was found that the factors that can increase the motivation to learn physics in first grade of SMA Negeri 1 Moyo Hulu, consist of 4 factors namely; family, school environment, educators and learning media. Learning media is an important factor, where the application of Edmodo greatly influences learning motivation and achievement with an average value comparison of experimental class motivation 8,69> 5,94 control class motivation, and experimental class achievement 33,94> 27,42 control class achievement, so it can be concluded that edmodo is effective to be applied in the physics learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Moyo Hulu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan coaching clinic untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik di sektor pendidikan nonformal, khususnya di SPNF SKB Boto, Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. Coaching clinic dipilih sebagai strategi pelatihan karena pendekatannya yang personal, berkelanjutan, serta berfokus pada umpan balik dan refleksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan pedagogis, manajemen kelas, dan integrasi teknologi pendidikan oleh pendidik. Sesi umpan balik yang berkelanjutan memungkinkan pendidik melakukan refleksi terhadap praktik pengajaran mereka, sehingga kualitas pengajaran meningkat. Namun, keterbatasan sumber daya diidentifikasi sebagai kendala dalam pelaksanaan program secara optimal. Disarankan agar program ini dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan dukungan sumber daya yang memadai untuk memberikan dampak jangka panjang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa coaching clinic merupakan model pelatihan yang efektif dan dapat diterapkan di berbagai institusi pendidikan nonformal. The Coaching Clinic Approach to Enhance Educator Competence: A Case Study in Non-Formal EducationAbstractThis study evaluates the effectiveness of implementing a coaching clinic to enhance educator competencies in non-formal education settings, specifically at SPNF SKB Boto, West Sumbawa Regency. The coaching clinic, characterized by its personalized, continuous approach with an emphasis on feedback and reflection, was used as a training strategy. The qualitative descriptive research employed a case study approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Findings revealed significant improvements in educators’ pedagogical skills, classroom management, and the integration of educational technology. Continuous feedback sessions allowed educators to reflect on their teaching practices, resulting in improved instructional quality. However, challenges such as limited resources were identified as barriers to optimal implementation. Sustained programs with adequate resource support are recommended to ensure long-term impact. The study concludes that coaching clinics are an effective and scalable model for professional development in non-formal education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas layanan cyber counseling berbasis chat asynchronous dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMP Negeri 1 Taliwang. Pendekatan metode campuran digunakan dengan wawancara kualitatif terhadap guru BK dan kuesioner kuantitatif kepada siswa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa layanan ini meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa, kenyamanan dalam berbagi masalah, dan aksesibilitas layanan. Anonimitas dan fleksibilitas waktu menjadi keunggulan utama, meskipun tantangan seperti literasi digital rendah dan akses internet perlu diatasi. Layanan ini menunjukkan efektivitas yang signifikan (p < 0,001) dibandingkan konseling tradisional. Rekomendasi mencakup pelatihan literasi digital, pendekatan hybrid, dan evaluasi berkala untuk memastikan keberlanjutan layanan. Penelitian ini menawarkan kontribusi dalam pengembangan layanan konseling berbasis teknologi di sekolah. The Effectiveness of Asynchronous Chat-Based Cyber Counseling to Improve the Quality of Guidance and Counseling in Junior High SchoolsAbstractThis study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of asynchronous chat-based cyber counseling in improving the quality of guidance and counseling services at SMP Negeri 1 Taliwang. A mixed-method approach was used, involving qualitative interviews with guidance counselors and quantitative questionnaires distributed to students. The results indicate that the service enhances students' confidence, comfort in sharing problems, and service accessibility. Anonymity and time flexibility are key advantages, though challenges such as low digital literacy and limited internet access need to be addressed. The service shows significant effectiveness (p < 0.001) compared to traditional counseling methods. Recommendations include digital literacy training, a hybrid approach, and regular evaluations to ensure service sustainability. This study contributes to the development of technology-based counseling services in schools.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Al-Qur'an merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT), termasuk di SDIT Samawa Cendekia, Sumbawa Besar. Namun, tantangan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa, terutama dalam tahfidz, seringkali muncul akibat keterbatasan metode pengajaran. Metode Wafa diperkenalkan sebagai pendekatan inovatif berbasis otak kanan dengan menggunakan strategi multisensori (visual, auditori, kinestetik) yang dikombinasikan dengan nada, bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi siswa dan mempermudah hafalan Al-Qur'an. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain mix method yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, serta pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis pre-test dan post-test pada 30 siswa selama satu semester. Hasil analisis paired sample t-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (p < 0,05) dalam kemampuan membaca dan hafalan siswa, dengan skor rata-rata meningkat dari 38 menjadi 88. Wawancara mengungkapkan bahwa metode ini menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, memudahkan siswa memahami tajwid, dan meningkatkan motivasi. Dukungan orang tua dan penggunaan teknologi audio visual seperti murrotal turut memperkuat keberhasilan metode ini. Temuan ini membuktikan efektivitas Metode Wafa dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Al-Qur'an, memberikan kontribusi signifikan untuk pengembangan metode pengajaran yang lebih adaptif di berbagai institusi pendidikan Islam. The Implementation of the Wafa Method in Al-Qur'an Learning for Students at SDIT Samawa Cendekia, Sumbawa BesarAbstractLearning the Qur'an is a critical component of Islamic education, particularly in Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT), such as SDIT Samawa Cendekia, Sumbawa Besar. However, challenges in enhancing students' tahfidz (Qur'an memorization) skills often arise due to limitations in teaching methods. The Wafa Method, an innovative right-brain approach incorporating multisensory strategies (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) and tone-based learning, was introduced to boost student motivation and simplify Qur'an memorization. This study employed a mixed-methods design, integrating qualitative insights from interviews with teachers and students, and quantitative analysis of pre-test and post-test results from 30 students over one semester. Paired sample t-test analysis revealed significant improvements (p < 0.05) in students' reading and memorization abilities, with average scores increasing from 38 to 88. Interviews highlighted that the method fostered an engaging learning environment, improved tajwid understanding, and enhanced motivation. Parental support and the use of audiovisual tools, such as murrotal, further reinforced the method's effectiveness. These findings demonstrate the Wafa Method's significant impact on improving Qur'anic education, offering valuable contributions to adaptive teaching strategies in Islamic education institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan Linktree dalam mendukung penyediaan informasi pengusulan tugas belajar bagi Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran dengan mengintegrasikan analisis kuantitatif melalui kuesioner dan analisis kualitatif melalui wawancara serta observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Linktree meningkatkan efisiensi akses informasi hingga 75%, dengan pengaruh sebesar 74,5% terhadap efektivitas layanan berdasarkan uji regresi linear sederhana. Responden melaporkan peningkatan kepuasan dan kemudahan akses informasi, meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam pembaruan informasi dan keterbatasan konektivitas internet. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Linktree adalah platform yang efektif untuk mendukung transformasi digital layanan publik, dengan rekomendasi untuk peningkatan infrastruktur digital, pembaruan konten yang rutin, dan pelatihan literasi digital bagi pengguna. Effectiveness of Linktree in Supporting Study Assignment Information for Civil Servants in West Sumbawa RegencyAbstractThis study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Linktree in supporting the provision of study assignment information for Civil Servants in West Sumbawa Regency. A mixed-method approach was employed, integrating quantitative analysis through questionnaires and qualitative analysis through interviews and direct observations. The findings revealed that Linktree increased information access efficiency by 75%, with a 74.5% impact on service effectiveness based on simple linear regression analysis. Respondents reported enhanced satisfaction and ease of access, although challenges were identified in updating information and limited internet connectivity. The study concludes that Linktree is an effective platform to support the digital transformation of public services, with recommendations for improving digital infrastructure, regular content updates, and user digital literacy training.

Abstract

Bank memiliki peran strategis sebagai lembaga intermediasi, peranannya tentu menjadi salah satu penggerak ekonomi di seluruh sektor. Perkembangan bank syariah dari tahun ke tahun mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kinerja keuangan bank syariah yang terus meningkat. Untuk mengoptimalkan pendapatan mereka, bank syariah harus memperhatikan kualitas sumber daya yang ada, seperti kualitas produk, kualitas layanan (Servquality), kepuasan pelanggan, dan citra bank untuk mempertahankan loyalitas pelanggan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kepuasan nasabah PT. Bank NTB Syariah KCP Maluk dan pengaruh Servive Quality terhadap minat nasabah dalam pengambilan pembiayaan di PT. Bank NTB Syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pendekatan Mixed Method. Penelitian ini merupakan gabungan antara metode kuantitatif dengan kualitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian, agar diperoleh data yang komprehensif, valid, reliable, dan objektif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi hasil wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi Uji validitas dan realibilitas instrumen, uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji korelasi, dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan software Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian yaitu 91% responden merasa puas dengan pelayanan PT. Bank NTB Syariah KCP Maluk karena kualitas pelayanannya. Dari hasil diperoleh p-value lebih kecil dari ? (0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara variabel Servquality (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan emphaty) terhadap minat nasabah dalam pengajuan pembiayaan di PT. Bank NTB Syariah KCP Maluk. Dari hasil pengujian tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hubungan Servquality (Kualitas Pelayanan) dan minat nasabah dalam pengajuan pembiayaan di PT. Bank NTB Syariah KCP Maluk berada di kategori baik atau berpengaruh positif. Service Quality Analysis of Customer Interest and Satisfaction in Applying for Financing at PT. The development of Islamic banks has increased from year to year. This is proven by the financial performance of sharia banks which continues to increase. To optimize their income, Islamic banks must pay attention to the quality of existing resources, such as product quality, service quality (Servquality), customer satisfaction, and bank image to maintain customer loyalty. The aim of this research is to analyze the level of customer satisfaction of PT. Bank NTB Syariah KCP Maluk and the influence of Service Quality on customer interest in taking out financing at PT. Bank NTB Syariah. This research uses a Mixed Method Approach. This research is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods used in research, in order to obtain comprehensive, valid, reliable and objective data. Data collection techniques used include the results of interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research include instrument validity and reliability tests, normality tests, linearity tests, correlation tests, and hypothesis tests with the help of Smart PLS software. The research results were that 91% of respondents were satisfied with PT's services. Bank NTB Syariah KCP Maluk because of the quality of its service. From the results obtained, the p-value is smaller than ? (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the Servquality variables (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy) on customer interest in applying for financing at PT. Bank NTB Syariah KCP Maluk. From the test results, it was concluded that the relationship between Servquality (Service Quality) and customer interest in applying for financing at PT. Bank NTB Syariah KCP Maluk is in the good or positive influence category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses implementasi inovasi pembelajaran tari kolaboratif dan perannya dalam memfasilitasi pembentukan identitas budaya siswa SMK, sebagai respons terhadap tantangan marginalisasi seni tradisional akibat homogenisasi budaya global. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif di SMK Negeri 1 Maluk, Kabupaten Sumbawa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 1 Kepala Sekolah, 2 guru tari, dan 12 siswa, serta diperkuat dengan observasi partisipan dan analisis dokumen kurikuler. Temuan menunjukkan proses implementasi berlangsung melalui lima tahap: Eksplorasi, Formasi Kelompok, Kreasi, Latihan & Pemurnian, serta Presentasi & Refleksi. Kunci dari proses ini adalah transformasi peran guru dari instruktur menjadi fasilitator, yang menciptakan "ruang aman"—sebuah lingkungan belajar yang suportif di mana siswa berani bereksplorasi dan bernegosiasi makna tanpa takut dihakimi. Proses kolaboratif ini secara efektif menumbuhkan rasa kepemilikan (sense of ownership), yakni perasaan bahwa karya tari yang dihasilkan adalah milik mereka seutuhnya, yang secara sadar terhubung dengan akar budaya Sumbawa. Model pembelajaran kolaboratif merupakan strategi pedagogis yang efektif untuk merevitalisasi pendidikan seni tari di SMK. Model ini tidak hanya memperkuat identitas budaya siswa, tetapi juga secara simultan mengembangkan soft skills (kolaborasi, kreativitas, pemecahan masalah) yang sangat relevan untuk karier mereka di masa depan, khususnya dalam industri kreatif dan pariwisata. Collaborative Learning in Sumbawan Dance: Fostering Cultural Identity and Aesthetics in Vocational High School Students Abstract This study aims to analyze the process of implementing collaborative dance learning innovation and its role in facilitating the formation of cultural identity among vocational high school students, in response to the challenges of the marginalization of traditional arts due to the homogenization of global culture. The research employs a qualitative case study method at SMK Negeri 1 Maluk, Sumbawa Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 1 school principal, 2 dance teachers, and 12 students, supplemented by participant observation and curricular document analysis. The findings indicate that the implementation process occurs in five stages: Exploration, Group Formation, Creation, Practice & Refinement, and Presentation & Reflection. A key aspect of this process is the transformation of the teacher's role from instructor to facilitator, creating a "safe space" a supportive learning environment where students feel free to explore and negotiate meaning without fear of judgment. This collaborative process effectively fosters a sense of ownership, where students feel that the dance works produced are entirely their own, consciously connected to the cultural roots of Sumbawa. The collaborative learning model serves as an effective pedagogical strategy for revitalizing dance education in vocational schools. This model not only strengthens students' cultural identity but also simultaneously develops soft skills (collaboration, creativity, problem-solving) that are highly relevant to their future careers, especially in the creative industries and tourism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan pendidikan karakter di era modern, di mana pendekatan formal seringkali gagal menginternalisasi nilai secara mendalam. Tradisi komunal seperti perayaan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW menawarkan sebuah 'arena pedagogis' alternatif yang bersifat informal dan eksperiensial. Namun, studi etnografi yang secara mendalam menganalisis bagaimana tradisi komunal berfungsi sebagai ekosistem pedagogis yang adaptif di era modern masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam mekanisme transmisi budaya antargenerasi dan proses internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam tradisi Maulid di Desa Baru, Sumbawa. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi etnografi, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 15 informan (Aparat Desa, Tokoh Agama, Generasi Muda) dan observasi partisipatif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa transmisi nilai bukanlah proses linear, melainkan sebuah ekosistem holistik yang direkayasa secara sosial melalui empat mekanisme utama: (1) keterlibatan proaktif generasi muda sebagai penyelenggara yang menumbuhkan rasa memiliki; (2) adaptasi tradisi melalui format kreatif dan media digital untuk menjaga relevansi; (3) fasilitasi ruang interaksi komunal yang berfungsi sebagai laboratorium nilai-nilai sosial; dan (4) fokus pada substansi keteladanan Nabi sebagai sumber inspirasi moral. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa tradisi Maulid tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ritual keagamaan, tetapi telah berhasil ditransformasikan menjadi sebuah proyek pendidikan karakter tahunan yang partisipatif, adaptif, dan efektif dalam menavigasi tantangan modernitas. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada diskursus pendidikan karakter dengan menawarkan model pedagogi berbasis komunitas yang terbukti efektif untuk internalisasi nilai. The Mawlid Tradition Amidst the Currents of Modernity: An Ethnography of Intergenerational Character Education Abstract This study is contextualized by the challenges of character education in the modern era, where formal approaches often fail to deeply internalize values. Communal traditions such as the Mawlid al-Nabi (the Prophet Muhammad's birthday) offering an alternative 'pedagogical arena' that is both informal and experiential. However, in-depth ethnographic studies analyzing how communal traditions function as adaptive pedagogical ecosystems in the modern era remain scarce." This research aims to deeply analyze the mechanisms of intergenerational cultural transmission and the process of internalizing character values within the Mawlid tradition in Desa Baru, Sumbawa. Using a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 informants (Village Officials, Religious Leaders, Youth) and participant observation. The findings indicate that value transmission is not a linear process but a holistic, socially engineered ecosystem operating through four main mechanisms: (1) proactive youth involvement as organizers to foster a sense of ownership; (2) adaptation of the tradition through creative formats and digital media to maintain relevance; (3) facilitation of communal interaction spaces that function as a laboratory for social values; and (4) a focus on the substance of the Prophet's exemplary character as a source of moral inspiration. This study concludes that the Mawlid tradition functions not merely as a religious ritual but has been successfully transformed into a participatory, adaptive, and effective annual character education project that navigates the challenges of modernity. These findings contribute to the discourse on character education by offering a community-based pedagogical model proven effective for value internalization.
