Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor psikologis yang memengaruhi kepuasan kerja guru serta dinamika perilaku individu dalam organisasi pendidikan Islam di MTs Yapisa Cileunyi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya memahami kepuasan kerja guru tidak hanya dari aspek struktural dan material, tetapi juga dari faktor psikologis dan nilai religius yang melekat dalam budaya madrasah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja guru dipengaruhi oleh tiga faktor utama, yaitu hubungan kerja yang harmonis dan dukungan interpersonal, pemaknaan kerja sebagai ibadah sebagai sumber motivasi intrinsik, serta iklim organisasi yang suportif melalui apresiasi dan ruang inovasi dari kepala madrasah. Selain itu, dinamika perilaku individu guru tampak melalui motivasi berbasis nilai religius, perilaku sukarela, kemampuan beradaptasi terhadap budaya madrasah, dan persepsi positif terhadap kepemimpinan kepala madrasah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja guru di madrasah terbentuk melalui integrasi antara self-efficacy, psychological capital, dukungan organisasi, dan Islamic work ethic. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya manajemen pendidikan Islam dalam merancang strategi pembinaan guru yang menyeimbangkan aspek profesional, psikologis, dan spiritual. Abstract

This qualitative case study analyzes the implementation of effective communication between teachers and leaders at MTs Kifayatul Akhyar Bandung through the lens of organizational psychology. The study reveals that communication effectiveness depends not only on technical aspects, but primarily on the synergy between psychological principles and internalized Islamic values within the organizational culture. The findings indicate that communication which fulfills teachers' psychological needs through the application of organizational justice, the provision of psychological safety in syura (consultation) forums, and the delivery of developmental feedback with courtesy (adab al-nasihah) organically integrates with Islamic communication ethics such as shiddiq (truthfulness) and rahmah (compassion). This synergy is mediated by a leadership style that combines transformational, servant, and spiritual aspects, thereby giving rise to an adaptive, multidirectional communication pattern. This pattern ultimately creates a healthy organizational climate, characterized by high levels of trust, social cohesion, and openness, which serves as a solid foundation for managing conflict constructively and implementing change participatively. The study concludes that a holistic communication model integrating functional effectiveness, psychological well-being, and spiritual significance is key to the success of Islamic educational organizations in achieving academic goals and building a productive work environment imbued with blessing (barakah).

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to formulate a hadith-based leadership model for school principals through a conceptual synthesis relevant to the challenges of contemporary Islamic education. The study employed a qualitative approach with literature study methods and thematic analysis of hadiths on leadership and education sourced from the books of Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, and Sunan Ibn Majah. The criteria for the selected hadiths were authentic and relevant to leadership and education. Data analysis was carried out through thematic coding and conceptual mapping. Furthermore, data validation was carried out using the triangulation method of interpretation between classical ulama's discourses and contemporary leadership theories. The results show that the Prophet's hadiths contain fundamental leadership values ​​that can be mapped into four main pillars, namely spiritual (piety and trustworthiness), ethical (justice and exemplary behavior), professional (competence and accountability), and social (service and participation). These four pillars are highly relevant to contemporary leadership models such as spiritual leadership, transformational leadership, instructional leadership, and servant leadership. The contribution of this research lies in strengthening the conceptual foundation of Islamic educational leadership based on the Prophet's hadith and offering an applicable framework in the managerial practices of school principals. Abstract

Disiplin memiliki peran mendasar dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik di lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Akan tetapi, penerapan kedisiplinan di sekolah dan madrasah masih sering dilakukan secara insidental, cenderung menekankan aspek sanksi, serta belum terkelola secara terencana dalam kerangka manajemen pendidikan. Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk merumuskan model manajemen kedisiplinan peserta didik yang berlandaskan hadis, dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip uswah hasanah (keteladanan) dan tadarruj (pembinaan secara bertahap). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis isi dan analisis tematik terhadap hadis-hadis Nabi Saw, literatur pendidikan Islam, kajian pendidikan karakter, serta teori manajemen POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). Temuan kajian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keteladanan dan pembinaan bertahap yang terkandung dalam hadis dapat dikonstruksikan sebagai landasan utama dalam manajemen kedisiplinan peserta didik. Integrasi kedua prinsip tersebut ke dalam fungsi-fungsi POAC menghasilkan suatu model manajemen yang tersusun secara sistematis, bersifat operasional, dan mudah diaplikasikan. Dalam model ini, guru diposisikan sebagai pelaksana utama manajemen, sementara peserta didik menjadi subjek pembinaan disiplin. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan manajemen pendidikan Islam yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai profetik serta membuka ruang bagi pengujian empiris pada penelitian selanjutnya. Abstract

Decision making and the enforcement of ethics in Islamic educational institutions are influenced by psychological dynamics and organizational interactions. This study aims to analyze the role of organizational psychology in decision-making processes and ethical practices at Madrasah Aliyah Daarul Muqimien Tangerang. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, and were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that participatory decision-making through deliberation, open organizational communication, and exemplary leadership significantly contribute to decision legitimacy and the strengthening of an ethical organizational culture. The integration of organizational psychology principles with Islamic ethical values functions as a mechanism for controlling individual bias and reinforcing collective trust. These findings provide a conceptual contribution to organizational psychology studies within the context of value-based Islamic education management

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the influence of organizational psychology on work culture at MTsN 1 Sumedang, focusing on motivation, communication, conflict management, and leadership within an Islamic educational context. Methods: A qualitative case study approach was employed, using purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with a senior teacher (Ibu Eva), participant observation, and documentation analysis, then analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s interactive model. Results: The findings reveal that although the term "organizational psychology" is not formally recognized, its core principles are organically integrated into daily management practices. A healthy, non-toxic work environment, mutual support among colleagues, periodic appreciation programs, and spiritual routines such as communal prayers and monthly religious gatherings significantly enhance teacher motivation and well-being. Novelty: This research contributes a contextual model demonstrating how modern organizational psychology principles such as intrinsic motivation, collaborative communication, and participative leadership can be authentically integrated with Islamic educational management principles like itqan (professionalism), syura (consultation), and amanah (trustworthiness).

Abstract

The management of boarding systems in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Boarding plays a strategic role in supporting the achievement of holistic Islamic educational goals. This study aims to analyze and synthesize research findings on the management of MA Boarding dormitory systems based on Islamic educational principles through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Literature was collected from reputable academic databases, including Google Scholar, Garuda, DOAJ, and Scopus, focusing on publications from 2020–2025. The selected studies were analyzed using content analysis and thematic synthesis techniques. The findings reveal that research on boarding school management is primarily concentrated on four themes: character education, management functions, organizational culture, and educational leadership. Effective dormitory management is achieved through the integration of planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling functions with Islamic values such as amanah (trustworthiness), shura (deliberation), justice, role modeling, and responsibility. The study also identifies key challenges related to human resource competence, institutional coordination, and digital transformation. The proposed conceptual model emphasizes the integration of managerial functions and Islamic educational values to strengthen students’ religious character, discipline, independence, and organizational culture. This study contributes to the development of Islamic educational management theory and provides practical guidance for improving the governance of MA Boarding institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the structure of best-practice-based educational planning at MTs Assalaam and its contribution to improving instructional quality. A qualitative case study approach was conducted at MTs Assalaam through in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, teachers, and educational staff, supported by participant observation and analysis of school planning documents. The findings reveal that best practices emerge from teacher reflection, collaborative lesson planning, active learning, and academic supervision. These practices improve instructional effectiveness, strengthen the relevance of annual planning, and promote teacher engagement and program implementation consistency. In addition, best-practice-based planning fosters a collaborative and adaptive work culture. However, some best practices remain undocumented and therefore have not been fully utilized as a basis for institutional decision-making.

Abstract

Organizational culture is the foundation that shapes the way work is conducted, interactions, and the values upheld by an organization. In this regard, the organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions must reflect these religious values. A strong organizational culture aligned with Islamic principles is believed to create an environment that supports the intellectual and spiritual growth of students, as well as fosters character development based on Islamic teachings. This research is a qualitative study conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 in Bandung in September 2024. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation using Miles and Huberman's model of analysis through data reduction, data display, and drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that the organizational culture at MAN 2 Bandung plays a crucial role in internalizing Islamic values among students, providing a strong foundation for the development of Islamic character. Teaching and learning activities, as well as routine religious activities such as a 15-minute recitation of the Qur'an before classes, congregational prayers, and Qur'an comprehension activities, serve as examples of organizational culture artifacts that not only reflect the institution's commitment to shaping Islamic behavior in students.
