Abstract

Infiltration causes a decrease in soil shear strength parameters. Decrease in soil shear strength parameters can cause landslides. Landslides often occur in Bogor Regency, one of the landslide locations is Puncak, Bogor. Landslides in Puncak, Bogor on 05 February 2018 at 09.20 WIB must have a safety factor 1.07. Changes in safety factors due to rainfall are observed from 03 February 2018 at 05.00 WIB until 05 February 2018 at 09.20 WIB. This research includes testing soil samples, pore water pressure analysis and slope stability analysis. The software used for this analysis is GeoStudio. The analysis results are the changes in safety factor due to rainfall. The safety factor on 03 February 2018 at 05.00 WIB is 1.602. Safety factor until 05 February 2018 at 03.40 WIB are still above 1.25. So, the slopes are still safe. The decline in safety factor continued until 1.070 due to a decrease in cohesion on 05 February 2018 at 09.20 WIB with cohesion on SW-SM soil and SM soil at 4.01 kPa and 9.18 kPa. So, the duration needed to change a safe slope to landslide is only 5 hours 40 minutes. This can occur because of the intensity of the rain on 05 February 2018 at 07.00 WIB and 08.00 WIB are 34.1 mm/hour and 34.9 mm/hour. Key words: cohesion, landslides, rainfall, safety factor

Abstract

The effect of earthquake load on building structures can be analyzed by equivalent static and dynamic methods analysis (spectrum response and time history). Earthquake load in buildings causes to collapse in buildings. One of the region in Indonesia that have highrisk on the earthquake is Bekasi. This research was conducted at the Galaxy Park Metro Apartment, Bekasi. This study aims to conduct building modeling, analyze the stiffness, vibration period, and the basic shear force of the structure, determine the pattern of sway (mode) and gather mass. The structural performance analysis of the Metro Galaxy Park Apartments based on SNI 1726 2012, SNI 1727 2013, SNI 2847 2013, and PPURG 1987. The results of this research show that the value of the vibration period of Metro Galaxy Park Apartments is 4.281 seconds. The amount of mass participation in the X and Y directions that exceeds 90% in the 21st and 24th modes respectively. The size of the static base shear (Vstatic) obtained is 23357.8 kN. While the dynamic base shear force (Vdynamic) for the earthquake direction X and the direction of the earthquake Y are obtained at 9788,041 kN and 10777.75 kN, respectively. Design scale factor for dynamic base shear force (V dynamic) of the earthquake in X and Y earthquake direction are 2.03 and 1.843, respectively. The magnitude of the dynamic base (Vdynamic) shear force for the X earthquake direction and Y earthquake direction are 19859,93 kN dan 19863,40 kN., respectively. Modeling of Metro Galaxy Park Apartments has been successfully done and the pattern of shaking (mode) of buildings has been obtained.Keywords: dynamic analysis, earthquake, mode shape, response spectrum

Abstract

Urban road network typically consists of many intersections which commonly lead to traffic problems. In relatively low traffic, a simple priority intersection will be sufficient and lead no traffic problem without necessarily implement traffic lights, roundabout or others. In an urban area where traffic demands are high, intersections need to be treated with an accurate traffic engineering approach. There are many different approaches to reduce the traffic problem in intersection including traffic light, roundabout, or interchange. Cimahpar Raya street and Indobaso intersections are urban areas in Bogor city with the high demand for transportation and often having a congestion problem in peak hour. The Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) of Bogor city plans to develop and change the Indobaso intersection to be a roundabout, while also increasing the lane width of the approaching roads. This study was conducted to assess the performance changes of the Indobaso intersection improvement by developing a traffic model of the intersection. The planned roundabout and lane width improvement significantly reduce the traffic delays by 90,07%, reduce travel time by 51,76%, improve average speed by 83,77%, and reduce the traffic density by 88,54% compared to the current condition of the intersection which lacks required lane road width and maneuver area.Key words: urban road, intersection, traffic model

Abstract

The high potential earthquake in Indonesia made the earthquake an important factor in the planning of a building. The study aims to do the way of modeling, analyzing the inner style, displacement occurring in the current earthquake structure and knowing the vibration period and the stiffness of the structure. Research conducted in Kelapa Gading North Jakarta. Research using secondary data obtained from KSO Jaya Konstruksi-Adhikarya by using CSI Bridge. The flyover modeling is based on secondary data. The results show that 12 vibration modes may occur in the flyover structure. The largest period occurred in mode 1 that was equal to 0.84 sec which represented the behavior of the structure so that the total stiffness value of the structure was 275512.95 kN/m. Structures can be categorized as a flexible structure. Displacement is the structure of 92.5 mm and is still below the value of allowable displacement so it could be classified as the safe category. The force that occurs in the structure of the axial force, shear force, torsion, and flexure moment. Keywords: CSI Bridge, displacement, earthquake, flyover, force.

Abstract

The type of soil at the location of the hotel building is a type of medium land (D). The applications used in this study are ETABS V16.1 and AutoCAD. Based on the PUSKIM website, the Ss and S1 Bogor City were 0.881 and 0.356, respectively. Based on the results of the analysis of the application ETABS V16.1 obtained fewer reinforcement design results than the existing reinforcement. The maximum nominal moment of the beam is 508.3 kNm while the ultimate moment is 498.4 kNm. The maximum nominal shear force of the beam is 565.9 kN while the ultimate shear force is 538.4 kN. The maximum nominal moment of the column is 1488.5 kNm while the maximum ultimate moment is 1478 kNm. The maximum nominal axial force of the column is 6291 kN while the maximum ultimate axial force is 6287 kN. The maximum nominal bending moment of the floor plate is 41.3 kNm while the maximum ultimate moment is 39.9 kNm. The maximum nominal shear force of the floor plate is 234.7 kN while the maximum ultimate shear force is 228.9 kN. The nominal shear force of shear wall is 8238.5 kN while the ultimate shear force is 8194.7 kN. Based on the internal forces, the building that has been built is in accordance with the plan so that it is safe to withstand earthquake loads.

Abstract

Jalan sangat dibutuhkan karena segala bentuk pergerakan terutama pergerakan transportasi darat memakai sistem jaringan transportasi yang ada. Pertumbuhan baik dari sisi ekonomi, perdagangan, serta sektor lain akan berkembang lebih dengan adanya keberadaan jalan. Penyebab kondisi jalan di Indonesia masih buruk yaitu karena pembangunan jalan yang tidak diimbangi dengan pemeliharaan yang baik. Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2018 diketahui bahwa daerah Bogor memiliki jalan dengan kondisi rusak hingga rusak berat. Jalan Alternatif IPB merupakan jalur alternatif untuk menuju Kampus Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB). Intensitas kendaraan yang cukup padat menyebabkan banyaknya kerusakan. Kerusakan ringan hingga berat terjadi di beberapa ruas jalan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis kerusakan jalan, melakukan penilaian berdasarkan metode PCI, serta memberikan solusi perbaikan untuk setiap perkerasan jalan yang rusak pada Jalan Alternatif IPB. Penelitian dilakukan pada Jalan Alternatif IPB sepanjang 500 m dengan lebar perkerasan 4 m yang dibagi menjadi 10 section. Terdapat 6 jenis kerusakan, seperti kerusakan lubang, ambles, retak memanjang, tambalan, bahu turun, dan retak tepi. Nilai akhir PCI pada lokasi penelitian sebesar 69,4 sehingga masuk dalam kategori sedang. Solusi perbaikan untuk setiap kerusakan tidaklah sama. Penambalan permukaan dan penambalan seluruh kedalaman dapat digunakan untuk perbaikan semua jenis kerusakan, kecuali bahu turun. Bahu turun harus diperbaiki dengan perataan kembali serta bahu diurug. Micro surfacing digunakan untuk perbaikan ambles. Penutup retak digunakan untuk retak memanjang dan retak tepi.

Abstract

Tanah pasir merupakan salah satu jenis tanah yang memiliki sifat mekanik yang baik. Namun, tanah pasir dapat menjadi mimpi buruk bila dalam kondisi jenuh serta terbebani secara siklik terus-menerus. Kondisi seperti ini dapat memicu terjadinya potensi likuefaksi. Upaya penambahan bahan aditif sebagai upaya perbaikan tanah banyak dilakukan untuk meminimalkan dampak dari potensi likuefaksi tersebut. Penelitian ini melakukan upaya peningkatan kuat geser pasir pantai dengan menambahkan CaCO3 Teknis sebagai upaya perbaikan dan stabilisasi tanah. Pasir pantai yang digunakan merupakan pasir dengan gradasi buruk yang dapat dibuktikan dari nilai Koefisien Derajat Keseragaman (Cc) sebesar 0,90 dan nilai Koefisien Kelengkungan (Cu) sebesar 4,00. Selain itu, dilakukan juga pengujian sifat fisis lain berupa pemeriksaan kadar air, pemeriksaan berat isi kering, pemeriksaan berat isi basah, pemeriksaan berat jenis butir, pemeriksaan angka pori serta pemeriksaan porositas. Sampel diberi perlakuan berupa penambahan CaCO3 dengan dosis sebanyak 10% dan 20%. Hasil pengujian laboratorium yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan peningkatan nilai parameter kuat geser tanah yang disajikan dalam bentuk model persamaan linear serta memperlihatkan perubahan nilai parameter kuat geser pasir berupa sudut geser dalam dan kohesi secara berturut-turut dengan nilai sebesar 25,82% dan 25,00% untuk sampel dengan dosis CaCO3 sebesar 10% serta 54,43% dan 250,00% untuk sampel dengan dosis CaCO3 sebesar 20%.

Abstract

Gempa bumi menjadi bencana yang sering terjadi di Indonesia salah satunya di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Gempa bumi diasumsikan sebagai beban lateral yang nantinya didistribusikan ke semua struktur gedung dan menyebabkan bangunan bergeser. Beban geser yang nilainya melebihi dari nilai beban geser maksimum akan membuat struktur mengalami keruntuhan sehingga perencanaan struktur sangat diperlukan untuk mengantisipasi kerusakan parah yang terjadi di struktur tersebut. Evaluasi diperlukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kinerja struktur gedung eksisting terhadap gempa. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengevaluasi tingkat kenerja struktur terhadap gempa menggunakan acuan ASCE 41-17 yang mengatur cara evaluasi seismik dan retrofit bangunan eksisting pragempa dengan tahapan pemodelan struktur (menggunakan ETABS), pembebanan gravitasi, pembebanan respon sprektrum, pemodelan sendi plastis, serta evaluasi analisis pushover. Hasil evaluasi menghasilkan bahwa gedung masih mampu menahan gaya gempa BSE-1E dan BSE-2E serta masih memiliki kekuatan untuk menahan gaya gempa sampai perpindahan target awal. Hasil simpangan yang dihasilkan memiliki nilai dibawah batas izin untuk arah-X dan Y pada level gempa BSE-1E sebesar 202,504 mm, 196,176 mm dan BSE-2E sebesar 274,352 mm, 266,56 mm. Sendi plastis terbentuk pertama kali pada elemen balok selanjutnya pada kolom. Tingkat kinerja struktur gedung untuk gempa BSE-1E berada pada level immediate occupancy (IO) dan gempa BSE-2E berada pada level Damage control (DC). Rasio daktilitas struktur gedung berada pada rentang 1,5 sampai 5,3 sehingga dapat dikatakan struktur gedung memiliki daktilitas parsial.

Abstract

Various polymers have widely known in its capability in enhancing rheological properties of bitumen for various pavement applications. Many polymer types have been used in studies, where the properties of the final product of the polymer modified bitumen (PMB) are different, depending on the used polymers. LDPE or Low-Density Polyethylene are one of widely studied polymers in bitumen modification that exhibit higher bitumen's viscosity, perform better in resisting deformation under heavy loads, and tend to show better integrity in high temperatures. LDPE-modified bitumen also believed to enhance elasticity, allowing a potentially better resistance to cracking due to ability to recover at low strain. Many studies also stated the improvement of LDPE-modified bitumen against thermal and mechanical stress, better adhesion to aggregates in asphalt mixtures, and various promising result for overall durability and longevity of pavement. This study explains basic rheological properties of LDPE-modified bitumen prepared by high shear mixing and specified preparing methodologies. Five variables of %modifications were used: 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% of bitumen weight. Ring and Ball softening point, Penetration test and rotating spindle viscometry were done to understand the rheological changes of the modified bitumen compared to unmodified bitumen control. For further understanding the behaviour, two types of LDPE were used: virgin LDPE and recycled LDPE. The study shows interesting noticeable differences between the two used LDPE polymers, allowing further proposed studies in this field.

Abstract

Factual conditions show that adopting coastal agricultural technology in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, has not met expectations. As the decision-makers of adoption, smallholder households are rational economic entities acting as producers and consumers who maximize utility and profit from their farm production. Specifically, this study is the first attempt to build an economic model of smallholder households that integrates technology adoption components in Indonesia. The model is also used to analyze the impact of input and output price policies on technology adoption, production, and labor allocation. This study uses primary data collected by survey method on 196 farmer respondents. Data were estimated using the two-stage least square (2SLS) method. The study findings reveal that higher farm output prices catalyze a series of beneficial agricultural outcomes, including expanding cultivated land, optimized input allocation, augmented production processes, and adopting innovative technologies. Fertilizer price subsidy policies have also proven practical policy tools to improve agricultural productivity.
