Abstract

This research aimed to know the influence of visualization strategy towards students' reading comprehension on narrative text. The writer used quantitative method and categorized the research as quasi experimental method. The population was 246 from 8 classes. The writer used Cluster Random Sampling Technique in taking the sample. There were 2 classes as a sample. X1 was an experiment class and X2 was a control class. The experiment class consisted of 32 students and control class consisted of 34 students. The main technique in measuring students’ reading comprehension was multiple choice which consisted of 40 items with 5 options a, b, c, d and e. The score of each item is 2,5 for correct answer. In calculating the data analysis, the writer used t-test formula. Based on the data analysis, the average score of experimental class was 81,94 and the average score of control class was 73,25 which means the average score of experimental class was higher than control class. The writer got that Ha was accepted. It was obtained that ttest = 3,73 and ttable 0,05 = 2,00 and 0,01 = 2,66 (3,73 > 2,00 < 2,66). It means that there was a significant influence of Visualization strategy towards students’ reading comprehension on narrative text at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in 2022/2023.

Abstract

This study investigated the impact of the List/Group/Label (LGL) method on vocabulary learning in eleventh-grade students at SMK Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. The primary aim was to determine if a significant difference in academic performance existed between the experimental and control groups. The research population consisted of all eleventh-grade students in their second semester at SMK Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung, totaling 338 students spread across 10 classes. Two classes were selected as samples: XI MLPB 1 acted as the experimental group (36 students), while XI MPLB 2 served as the control group (35 students). This study employed a quantitative approach within a quasi-experimental design. Data gathering was carried out through vocabulary evaluations (pre-test and post-test). The results indicated a marked improvement in vocabulary learning for students in the experimental group taught using the LGL method in contrast to the control group. This suggests that the List/Group/Label method serves as an efficient strategy for enhancing students' vocabulary learning

Abstract

This study investigates how pre-service teachers specializing in Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) perceive and utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools within Project-Based Learning (PBL), a context that remains underexplored in teacher education research. While AI adoption in education is growing, little is known about its role in supporting pre-service teachers’ creativity, pedagogical decision-making, and reflective practice in TEYL settings. To address this gap, a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design was employed, combining a survey of 50 Indonesian pre-service TEYL teachers with follow-up interviews with six purposively selected participants. This design was chosen to capture broad patterns of perception and then enrich them with contextualized insights. Data were collected using a questionnaire grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and semi-structured interviews, with quantitative analysis conducted through descriptive statistics and qualitative data analyzed thematically. Findings indicate high acceptance of AI, with participants valuing its ease of use and positive contribution to project work, particularly in brainstorming ideas and supporting design. At the same time, concerns emerged regarding overreliance, reduced critical thinking, and occasional unreliability of AI-generated content. These results highlight both the opportunities and risks of AI integration in TEYL teacher education. The study concludes that teacher education programs should embed AI literacy, promote reflective pedagogy, and design scaffolded PBL activities that balance technological support with the development of creativity, ethical awareness, and learner autonomy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat pembahasan mengenai “ Pelaksanaan Rekrutmen Tenaga Kependidikan di SMA Bhakti Suci Jaya Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan” Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan rekrutmen tenaga kependidikan di SMA Bhakti Suci Jaya Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan dan menganalisis faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan rekrutmen tenaga kependidikan di SMA Bhakti Suci Jaya Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif, sumber data dari data primer dan data sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan informan penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, waka kurikulum, kepala tata usaha dan guru. Teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah reduksi data, display data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan pengecekan keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan rekrutmen tenaga kependidikan di SMA  Bhakti Suci Jaya Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan berjalan dengan baik. Dilihat dari indikator pelaksanaan rekrutmen tenaga kependidikan yaitu koordinasi, motivasi, komunikasi, dan pengarahan. Adapun faktor-faktor pendukung pelaksanaan rekrutmen tenaga kependidikan di SMA Bakti Suci Jaya Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan adalah faktor organisasi dalam kebijakan promosi dan kebiasaan pencari tenaga kerja, sedangkan faktor penghambat pelaksanaan rekrutmen tenaga kependidikan di SMA Bhakti Suci Jaya Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan adalah metode pelaksanaan penarikan dan kondisi tenaga kerja.

Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “Perencanaan Pengadaan Sarana Dan Prasarana Pendidikan di SMP Negeri 44 Palembang”. Adapun Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perencanaan pengadaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di SMP Negeri 44 Palembang. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, sumber data dari data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan informan kepala sekolah, wakil sarana dan prasarana, staff tata usaha, dan guru. Teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan pengecekan keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik, dan triangulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pengadaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di SMP Negeri 44 Palembang berjalan dengan baik dan sudah terlaksananya perencanaan pengadaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di SMP Negeri 44 Palembang memperhatikan indikator dari perencanaan pengadaan sarana dan prasarana yaitu menetapkan target atau tujuan, merumuskan keadaan saat ini, mengidentifikasi segala kemudahan dan hambatan, dan mengembangkan rencana. Adapun faktor pendukungnya yaitu sumber daya manusia, serta lingkungan. Adapun faktor penghambatnya yaitu keterbatasan dana jika dana tidak mencukupi untuk memenuhi pengadaan sarana dan prasarana.

Abstract

This research provides a background for an image that students in early reading have not developed optimally. With the title of the research on "The Effect of Scientific Approach on Early Reading Ability in Early Childhood Group A at Kindergarten Aidil Fitri 2 Palembang". The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of the Scientific Approach on Early Reading Ability in Early Childhood Group A at Aidil Fitri 2 Kindergarten Palembang. This type of research is an empirical discovery expos that are carried out systematically, the researcher does not control the independent variables. The number of samples amounted to 16 from educators, parents of students and students at Aidil Fitri 2 Kindergarten Palembang. Data collection techniques in the study used observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study used validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the study showed that the results of the t-test of the t-value of the calculation (6,015) > the t-value of the table (1,745) with a sig value of 0.001 meant that there was an influence of the Scientific Approach (X) on the ability of Children's Early Reading (Y) at Aidil Fitri 2 Kindergarten Palembang. With the hypothesis value of Ho rejected and Ha accepted, it means that there is a significant influence of variable X on variable Y. With an R Squara value of 0.567 (56.7%). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the Scientific Approach on Early Reading Ability in Early Childhood Group A at Aidil Fitri 2 Kindergarten Palembang with an actual percentage value of 56.7%, this is stated that the scientific approach has a strong influence on early reading ability in early childhood group A at Aidil Fitri 2 Kindergarten Palembang.

Abstract

Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan rekrutmen peserta didik di SMA Nurul Iman Palembang dan mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat perencanaan rekrutmen peserta didik di SMA Nurul Iman Palembang. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi informan penelitian yaitu Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kurikulum, Kepala Staff Tata Usaha. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data dan menarik kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan rekrutmen peserta didik di SMA Nurul Iman Palembang berjalan cukup baik. Hasil peneliti dilihat dalam perencanaan penerimaan peserta didik di SMA Nurul Iman Palembang memperhatikan indikator dari perencanaan rekrutmen peserta didik yaitu penetapkan tujuan dalam pembentukan panitia peserta didik, rapat penerimaan peserta didik, pembuatan pengumuman peserta didik, pendaftaran penerimaan peserta didik, seleksi peserta didik, penentuan peserta didik yang diterima, dan daftar ulang peserta didik yang diterima. Merumuskan keadaan saat ini dalam pembentukan panitia peserta didik, rapat penerimaan peserta didik, pembuatan pengumuman peserta didik, pendaftaran penerimaan peserta didik, seleksi peserta didik, penentuan peserta didik yang diterima, dan daftar ulang peserta didik yang diterima. Mengidentifikasi kemudahan dan hambatan dalam pembentukan panitia peserta didik, rapat penerimaan peserta didik, pembuatan pengumuman peserta didik, pendaftaran penerimaan peserta didik, seleksi peserta didik, penentuan peserta didik yang diterima, dan daftar ulang peserta didik yang diterima. Serta pengembangkan rencana dalam pembentukan panitia peserta didik, rapat penerimaan peserta didik, pembuatan pengumuman peserta didik, pendaftaran penerimaan peserta didik, seleksi peserta didik, penentuan peserta didik yang diterima, dan daftar ulang peserta didik yang diterima. Adapun faktor pendukungnya yaitu terakreditadi dan lokasi yang strategis. Adapun faktor penghambatnya yaitu anggaran oprasional yang sedikit dan banyaknya SMA negeri.

Abstract

AbstrakSkripsi ini berjudul “Pelaksanaan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Di MTs Marfu’ah Palembang”. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru di MTs Marfu’ah Palembang dan mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru di MTs Marfu’ah Palembang. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi informan penelitian yaitu Kepala Sekolah, Waka Kesiswaan, Kepala Tata Usaha. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru di MTs Marfu’ah Palembang berjalan cukup baik. Hasil peneliti dilihat dalam pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru di MTs Marfu’ah Palembang memperhatikan indikator dari pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru yaitu adanya pengarahan, koordinasi, komunikasi dan motivasi dilihat dari adanya pembentukan panitia pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru, adanya analisis kebutuhan peserta didik, adanya pembuatan dan pemasangan pengumuman penerimaan peserta didik baru yang dilakukan secara terbuka, adanya pendaftaran calon peserta didik, adanya pengarahan atau pemberian perintah dalam seleksi peserta didik, adanya penentuan peserta didik yang diterima, adanya pendaftaran ulang peserta didik. Adapun faktor pendukungnya yaitu adanya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, memiliki guru yang berkualitas dan lokasi madrasah yang cukup strategis. Adapun faktor penghambatnya yaitu terbatasnya daya tampung atau kuota penerimaan peserta didik baru adanya peserta didik yang hasil nilai tesnya, nilai DANEM dan kecakapannya sama dan mereka sama-sama berada pada batas bawah penerimaan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru di MTs Marfu’ah Palembang ini cukup baik. Abstract

Bamboo is a versatile plant that has many benefits in the lives of the people of Gorontalo. This research aims to provide taxonomic information on bamboo species in Gorontalo Province, including variations in morphological characters and phenetic relationships of bamboo, as well as information on the traditional use of bamboo. The method used in this research is exploration and interviews. Exploration was carried out to collect information on bamboo taxonomy, while interviews were conducted to find out the use of bamboo by the Gorontalo Community. The research data obtained was then analyzed descriptively to describe and interpret data on morphological variations, phenetic relationships and traditional benefits of the various types of bamboo obtained. Based on the research results, it was obtained that 13 types of bamboo are distributed in Gorontalo which show the unique morphological variations of the varieties which are divided into four genera, namely the genus Gigantochloa has distinctive morphological characteristics on the waxy surface of the stem, the Bambusa genus with characteristic shiny, smooth stems, the Dendrocalamus genus has the largest diameter and stem wall thickness, the genus Schizostachyum has the same morphological characteristics of stem segments and branch lengths. Based on the analysis of phenetic relationships, two main clusters were formed with a similarity value of 61.2%. In terms of traditional uses, it was recorded in this research that most bamboo is used as building construction materials, food sources, traditional medicine, materials for traditional ceremonies, handicrafts, and ornamental plants, as a tool designedto help people's livelihoods and ecological functions. This research also provides the first record of the morphological characteristics and use of each type of bamboo in Gorontalo which can be used for future bamboo breeding and conservation projects.
