Abstract

This research aimed at exploring the management of administration in MTs Negeri Padang Panjang in upgrading the Madrasah quality. This research was qualitative. Data collection used documentation study and in-depth intervie. The results obtained indicate that the management of administration in MTs Negeri Padang Panjang was run well in upgrading the quality of Madrasah. The quality of management administration was seen from the administration of students’ recruitment, curriculum, educators and staff, and counseling. This research implicates to supervisors and Madrasah in West Sumatera to learn the management of administration in MTs Negeri Padang Panjang in upgrading the Madrasah quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is the influence of professional allowance and work motivation on teacher performance. The population in this study were all high school teachers in the District of Muara Sugihan (55 teachers). The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling. The sample consisted of 2 groups: teachers who had received professional allowances and who had not received professional allowances. The sampling technique uses a sample size determination table developed by Isaac and Michael, for a population of 55 people with an error rate of 5%, a sample of 48 people. The results of data analysis show that (1) there is a significant effect between professional allowances on teacher performance by 25.3%; (2) there is a significant effect between work motivation on teacher performance variables with an influence of 47.0%; (3) there is a significant effect between the professional allowance and work motivation together on the teacher's performance of the Public High School in Muara Sugihan District at 57.0%.

Abstract

Adanya Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka, mahasiswa dituntut memiliki soft skill, dan kemampuan di luar bidang studinya. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberi bekal kepada mahasiswa PGMI agar mampu mengoperasikan aplikasi Canva. Aplikasi ini sangat bermanfaat untuk membuat berbagai macam desain, seperti cover, spanduk, banner, undangan, sertifikat dan lain-lain. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah tutorial, di mana mahasiswa didampingi agar mampu mengoperasikan aplikasi Canva. Mahasiswa yang mengikuti pengabdian ini adalah para mahasiswa PGMI UIN Fatmawati Sukarno. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan mahasiswa mampu mengoperasikan Canva, dan dapat menerapkannya di lingkungan masyarakatnya, terlebih dapat menjadi bekal membuka usaha.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of finger print attendance and certification on teacher performance. In this study, the population taken was the teacher who taught at SMP NegeriKertapati with a total sample of 69 people. The methodology used in this experiment is quantitative by reviewing the information obtained from the results of the distribution of the questionnaires to measures support across the district of 3 SMP NegeriKertapati. The information gathered to obtain a relationship between the variables observed and the sample in the 3 schools are also represented simultaneously by that kind of approach. Based on this information, it really is evident that: 1. On teacher efficiency, there is an effect of finger print attendance, 2. Certification seems to have an impact on teacher performance, and 3. There is a shared impact on teacher competence at SMP NegeriSekecamatanKertapati between finger print attendance and certification. Teachers are expected to further develop their discipline and other competencies in the future, which will undoubtedly significantly improve success in the learning environment.

Abstract

The principal is a leader in educational institutions that regulates and manages educational activities in schools. Therefore, school principals play an important role in improving the quality of education, especially improving teacher performance to be more enthusiastic and professional in teaching and developing themselves who are in charge of delivering lessons to students. This study aims to identify the role of principal supervision as an effort to improve teacher professionalism in teaching at public high school (SMA Negeri) 10 OKU. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 10 OKU. The research was carried out for 3 (three) months, starting from September 2020 to November 2020. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used include: (1) Interview or Interview; (2) Observation; (3) Documentation. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the principal had a role in the supervision carried out as an effort to improve teacher professionalism in teaching. It is known: (1) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher in planning lesson plans which are made reported and approved by the principal and according to the curriculum; (2) The role of principal supervision is proven by the teacher in carrying out the learning process in accordance with the learning device guidelines and using teaching aids; (3) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher evaluating the learning outcomes and reporting to the principal; (4) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher following up on the learning outcomes in accordance with the direction of the principal; (5) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher providing guidance to students.

Abstract

This article aim to analyze of the policy form of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with local governments, followed by early childhood education programs, Primary School, Junior High School, Senior High School, Extraordinary School both public and private in the Motivating School Program whether or not it can be implemented. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used in this study is library research. In this literature study, the author collects materials related to research from books, scientific journals, literatures and other publications that are worthy of being used as sources, by describing and describing the data through several expert opinions. The result of this research is that the Driving School program has an impact as a catalyst for the quality of education in Indonesia. This is indicated by the existence of several interventions. The interventions carried out in the motivating school program start from human resources, learning with a new paradigm and data-based planning. This program is able to accelerate public/private schools to move 1-2 stages further. However, because it is still dynamic, some of the readiness in the curriculum is still not optimal. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and leadership on the principal's organizational commitment The method used in this research is a survey method. The unit of analysis in this study is the principal of the elementary school. The analytical technique used is path analysis using Lisrel Software. The sample of this research includes principals of public elementary schools who meet the predetermined criteria, with a total sample of 90 principals and 90 teachers. The results showed that organizational culture and leadership had a direct positive effect on organizational commitment, which was 0.31. This means that there is a direct positive influence of organizational culture and leadership on organizational commitment because the value of tcount = 3.09 > ttable = 1.988. The coefficient of this path is marked alpha 5%, meaning that this hypothesis is proven, thus the organizational culture and leadership variables have a direct positive effect on the organizational commitment variable. This means that culture and leadership directly affect the commitment of organizational leaders in the city of Palembang. A person's organizational suitability has a strong positive direct influence on a commitment to the organization, members who are in the organization have a high level of effectiveness towards the organization.

Abstract

This study aim to analyze how students in Indonesia and Nigeria used Project-Based Learning to develop their entrepreneurial skills. Qualitative methods with observation sheet and students’ project document were used as instruments in this study. The subjects were student whom join course entrepreneurship in Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Universitas Bengkulu. The success of the Project-Based Learning strategy is evaluated by reviewing projects completed by students. The results obtained in Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Universitas Bengkulu indicated that PjBL approach increases students’ entrepreneurship skill development, creative thinking, and problem solving. The findings of this study can be used by universities in Indonesia, Nigeria, and other countries as an alternative learning strategy. These are very important for everyone in the future. Hence, PjBL is an effective method that can be used to enhance the entrepreneurial skill of students compared to the traditional class structure where the teacher or lecturer do more of the teaching with less students’ involvement. This study provides an alternative option for developing entrepreneurial skills through project-based learning in both Indonesia and Nigeria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive picture of the importance of continuous supervision in the context of optimizing teacher pedagogic competence. In this study, a mixed method was used. This research is also known as population research, because all the teachers on duty at SMP Negeri 2 Cengal, namely 28 people, are the research sample. To obtain accurate data, the instruments are arranged according to indicators of pedagogical competence, namely understanding of students, design & implementation of learning, development of students and evaluation of student learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out according to this research method, there was a qualitative and quantitative analysis with the stages of data reduction analysis, data display which was then verified so that it became a research conclusion. According to the findings of this study, at least there has been an increase in teacher competence as a result of continuous supervision. This research is unique in that it is tested continuously for several periods of supervision, not just once to determine the effect of the implementation of supervision on teacher performance and competence. The final average obtained in each supervision related to the teacher's pedagogic competence is 77.05; 77.75 and 78.8. Of course, these results can help strengthen policies that regulate the implementation of supervision in every educational institution.

Abstract

The quality of education is reflected through the personality, knowledge and skills and skills possessed by students, a manifestation of the implementation of the curriculum 2013 in learning. The purpose of the study is to analyze the implementation of the curriculum 2013 in the form of planning, implementation and assessment in accounting learning at private vocational schools in Palembang City. The population of this study is a private vocational school in the city of Palembang. While the research sample is a sample with a purpose, as many as 12 private vocational schools each with 2 (two) teachers, as respondents where the school concerned has a major in Accounting and Institutional Finance and is accredited A. The sources of data collected are in the form of primary data, namely observations and questionnaires. Methods or data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of the research are the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 in private vocational schools in Palembang City and the role of educators in the implementation of the curriculum 2013 in terms of the aspect of learning planning that is "Appropriate", while for the implementation of learning and learning assessment it is in the "Good" category. However, it is necessary to improve the quality of learning so that every indicator or aspect in the implementation of the curriculum 2013 meets learning standards and becomes even better.
