This research aimed to provide an overview of the poor passing standard of the National Competence Examination for Indonesian Health Professionalswith healthcare workers in Bengkulu City, Indonesia. This review used a mixed method with sequential exploratory approach, resulting in a collection of studies gathering and evaluating data to clarify research problems.The subjects of this research were alumni of the D-III Midwifery Study Program at the Dehasen University of Bengkulu who had taken competence examinations.Data fromten participants who took part in the test competenceexaminationwere analyzed using thematic analysis.The findings showed variables, including the prevalence of trials, the value of the GPA, learning styles, motivation, and consistency when taking the tests, influenced the poor passing standard of the healthcare worker competency test.It was expected that to raise the percentage, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesiashould run more programs through higher education.

This study aimed at investigating the implementation of academic supervision by principals, from the planning, implementation, and follow-up. Academic supervision gave impact on teachers performance. Teachers evaluations will be seen from the lesson plan, the implementation of instruction, assessment of learners and the follow-up. To achieve these objectives, we used quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires using Likert scale. The analysis used was simple regression analysis. The results showed there was significant correlation between the academic supervision by principals towards the teachers performance. If the academic supervision increases, the teachers performance will also increase.

This paper aimed at determining the principal’s supervision and school committee participation on the primary school’s performance in Pulau Rimau, Indonesia. The sample of this research is 40 elementary school teachers. Data were collected using questionnaire and documentation. Data were analyzed using the SPSS program. The results showed 1) there was positive influence of principal’s supervision on the primary school’s performance; 2) there was positive influence of school committee participation on the primary school’s performance; 3) there was positive influence of principal’s supervision and school committee participation together on the primary school’s performance in Pulau Rimau, Indonesia. This paper contributed to principal on improving supervision and committee on participation in order to have very good primary school’s performance. Where the school wishes to have good performance they should have good principal’s supervision and committee’s participation.

Abstract: This study was aimed at describing the headmaster’ leadership of Islamic Primary School Rahmah El Yunusiyyah in applying effective learning. The informants of this study were sectional leader of education, headmaster, teachers, staffs, parents and students. This study applied qualitative case study. The headmaster’s leadership of Islamic Primary School Rahmah El Yunusiyyah produced many achievements. The effective learning was done in order to produce students’ good attitude and achievement. The headmaster’s leadership was seen good, because his caring on developing teachers and students’ participation. The headmaster applied 1) technical skills; 2) human skills; and 3) conceptual skills on his leadership. The headmaster suggested the teachers to use Curriculum 2013 and School Based Curriculum by using domain approach. The domain approach tend to grow the project based character building in order to empower students’ understanding. The school was also did learning by using environment and earth. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah dalam mewujudkan pembelajaran efektif di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Rahmah El Yunusiyyah. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah semua Kasi Pendidikan Madrasah, Kepala Madrasah, tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, orang tua siswa, dan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah telah menghasilkan prestasi-prestasi gemilang. Pembelajaran efektif dilaksanakan dengan menghasilkan peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia dan berprestasi. Kepemimpinan Kepala MI REY dinilai baik, karena kepedulian Kepala MI REY dalam mengembangkan kemampuan partisipatif guru dan siswa. Kepala MI REY berusaha memenuhi sarana prasarana untuk kelancaran pembelajaran. Kepala MI REY telah menerapkan 1) technical skills; 2) human skills; dan 3) conceptual skills. Kepala MI REY mengharuskan guru menggunakan Kurikulum 2013 dan KTSP dengan Pendekatan Domain. Pendekatan domain menitikberatkan pada.penanaman nilai karakter siswa program unggulan pembelajaran efektif berbasis proyek, yang bertujuan untuk menguatkan pemahaman peserta didik dengan materi yang diberikan. Selain itu MI REY melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan lingkungan dan alam.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan rasa cinta kepada Allah dan mahlukNya pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan di TK Matahari Palembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menumbuhkan rasa cinta kepada Allah dan mahlukNya pada anak usia 5-6 tahun sangat baik dilakukan dengan cara pendekatan langsung dan pembiasaan yang dapat dilakukan secara berulang-ulang dan membiasakan pada anak dengan cara mengajak siswa mengerjakan sholat bersama, dan mengajak siswa untuk mengamati tumbuhan yang ada di lingkungan sekitar.

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of quipper school media at MTs 1 in Palembang, especially for students who attended class VII to learn mathematics was the purpose of this study. This study uses a quantitative and qualitative descriptive meth-od (mixed method). The results obtained from the implementation of this research are in terms of each indicator, it is stated that the quipper school learning media can be used in mathematics learning to optimize learning activities and it is stated that it helps improve learning outcomes. The teacher who teaches states that the quipper school learning media is effective in learning mathematics to increase the learning activity of students. The results of the observations made by the researchers stated that there was an impact on the application of quipper school learning media at MTs in Palembang, especially in Mathematics for grade VII. It was proof by the increase in the average value of student learning activeness after learning mathematics using the quipper school media.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah manajemen pendidikan karakter berbasis pondok pesantren di Raudhatul Ulum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Raudhatul Ulum, Asisten Pimpinan Pesantren bagian Akademis, Asisten Pimpinan Pesantren bagian HRD, Wali asrama, guru dan Ketua Organisasi Pelajar Pondok Pesntren. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) perencanaan pendidikan karakter disusun sesuai dengan visi, misi dan tujuan pendidikan dengan mengembangkan kurikulum, metode dan sosialisasi; 2) dalam pengorganisasian pendidikan karakter yang bertanggung jawab adalah Kepala Sekolah dan pengasuhan santri; 3) pendidikan karakter dilaksanakan baik formal, informal dan nonformal; dan 4) pengontrolan dilakukan oleh semua stakeholder Pondok Pesantren, baik melalui rapor sekolah maupun rapor pondok yang dapat menentukan kenaikkan dan kelulusan peserta didik.

Abstract: This study was conducted in order to reveal the role of principal leadership on improving teacher’s performance. The data were obtained through interview, documentation and observation. An increase of teachers’ performance may also improve the quality of education and quality of teaching. To achieve eligibility standards and good performance, the school needs to be headed by a Principal whom qualified with extensive knowledge about the Leadership. A schoolprincipal is responsible for the educational organization, school administration, utilization and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, and coaching educational personnel. No matter how perfect the teaching facility, otherwise when the headmaster as executor is unable to perform his duties as an educational leader, then the success of education in schools would be difficult to achieve.Keywords: Leadership, Principal, Teachers’ Performance

This study aimed at determining the effect of work motivation and principal managerial competence on teachers’ performance. This research used descriptive quantitative. The populations of the research were 150 teachers as State High School in Banyuasin. The samples were 60 teachers. Sampling technique in this research was Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The instruments were nquestionnaires. Data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regressions. The results showed that 1) teachers’ work motivation influences the teachers’ performance in SMA Banyuasin with 89,3%; 2) the principal’s managerial competence influences teachers’ performance in SMA Banyuasin with 76,6%; and 3) teachers’ work motivation and principal’s managerial competence influence teachers’ performance in SMA Banyuasin with 89,3%.

This research starts from the results of a preliminary study that children unable to control himself well because at their age control of emotions is very labile. The objective of the research is to develop a module of coaching character discipline of students through Scouts’ extracurricular which valid, practical, and effective. The methods used in this research is the Research and Development with the ADDIE model. The subject in this study is SMK Negeri 3 Palembang. The data were collected by interview, observation, documentation and tests. The results showed that students could apply the character discipline through extracurricular Scouts, the conclusion that in this module was successfully developed and declared valid, practical and effective.
