This research aimed at describing the competencies of the Principal in State Secondary school in Banyuasin Regency, it can be mapped the right program given to optimize it. This study was mixed method. The results obtained the competencies of principals in State Secondary schools Banyuasin Regency have moderate managerial competency; entrepreneurship competencies are mostly included in the medium criteria; Supervision competencies in the medium category. Overall, most of the principals have good competency.

In this qualitative paper, we investigated in-depth about the strategy of the principal in preparing the students ready for the industrial revolution 4.0. The objects of research were State Vocational School 2 Palembang, State Vocational School 6 Palembang, Vocational School 2 Muara Enim, State Vocational School 1 Gelumbang, and Vocational School YTK Kimia Palembang. The data were carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. We found that some strategies used by 5 (five) Vocational Schools in South Sumatra in aligning education with the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era were improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure based on industrial needs (link and match). They upgraded teachers' competence appropriate with the era of industrial revolution 4.0 and then created competent and ready graduates in harmony with the program Making Indonesia 4.0 launched by the Ministry of Industry.

This study aims to study teacher barriers to utilizing information and communication media (ICT) for learning media. This research was carried out at Public Elementary School 24 Pulau Rimau located in Karang Manunggal village, Pulau Rimau sub-district, Banyuasin district. The subjects of this study were teachers at Public Elementary School 24 Pulau Rimau who tested 16 people. In conducting this research, data from certain sources are needed that are as expected in this study. The technique of collecting data is by observation and interview. Data were analyzed using percentages to see the percentage of respondents' answers. Furthermore, all data is processed by analyzing qualitative data, namely data reduction, data display, and data verification. The formulation of the problem in this study is what forms are questioned by the teacher in utilizing technology-based media in Public Elementary School 24 Pulau Rimau ? From the results of research on teacher barriers to using Information Technology (ICT) in Public Elementary School 24 Pulau Rimau, two aspects related to the ability of teachers and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) were inadequate. The obstacle of the teacher's ability to master ICT is that the teacher is not proficient in using computers, judging from the percentage of teacher answers, 75% say they are not proficient in using technology-based media, whereas using computers is one of the activities that support computer-based media. In addition, teachers do not have an advanced educational background in the use of ICT media. Another obstacle in terms of facilities, in Public Elementary School 24 Pulau Rimau there is no electricity network (PLN). In addition to not having a PLN, there is also the unavailability of computer facilities and laptops at the Public Elementary School 24 Pulau Rimau.

This study determined the effect of school principal leadership and school climate on the work productivity of SMK Pharmacy teachers in Palembang. Data in this study were collected through questionnaire distribution to respondents. The results of filling out the questionnaire were analyzed by multiple regression analysis through t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination test. The population in this study were all teachers who teach at the Pharmacy Vocational School in Palembang from 8 schools totaling 151 people. The sample in this study was based on calculations using the Slovin formula. So that the number of samples obtained in this study were 110 teachers. The results of this study indicate (1) there is a significant influence of school principal leadership on teacher work productivity; (2) there is a significant influence of school climate on teacher work productivity; (3) there is a significant influence of school principals leadership and school climate together on teacher work productivity. This paper contributes to educational principal to improve leadership and climate whether they would have very good teacher’s work productivity.

This article aims to reveal the learning of patterns and cultural influences of perceptive mental processes in Angkola language with a Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) approach. This is because learning research tends to offer research related to language learning models and language learning media from various perspectives. Meanwhile, the content of the learning is still limited to be analyzed in certain grammar. This research offers perceptive mental process learning based on one of the regional languages in Indonesia, namely Angkola language which needs to be raised considering that this language still includes native speakers. Thus, the Angkola language must be included in the list of documentation of languages and oral traditions that should be preserved in order to maintain the wealth of the archipelago. The method used is descriptive qualitative with transitivity analysis. The results of the analysis show that the Angkola community in expressing perceptive mental processes produces two patterns, one sequential pattern and one non-sequential pattern. However, for non-sequential patterns, after the process is not followed by sensing but is followed by a phenomenon then sensing afterwards. The uniqueness and symptoms of this strangeness are found in the study of perceptive mental processes in the Angkola language. Therefore, according to the presentation of the analysis, it can be proven the consistency, prevalence and acceptance of this pattern in transitivity in the Angkola language. This research was experiment, which aimed at finding out whether there was significant effect of RAFT strategy towards students’ writing skill of recount text or not. The population of this research were the students grade X MAN Lubuk Alung in academic year 2015/2016. It consists of 180 students. The technique of selecting sample was cluster sampling, and it was selected two classes, X4 treated through RAFT strategy while X3 was treated through conventional strategy.The data of this research were collectedthroughwriting test. The data analysis of post-test showed that the mean scoreof students’ writing skill in experimental class were 77.75with 6.51 standard deviation and the mean score of students’ writing skill in control class were67.58 with 6.42 standard deviation. Those data were taken after both classes given treatments for several times with tcalculated = 5.113 and ttable = 1.645. Itmeans the score of tcalculated was bigger than the score of ttable (tc> tt).Based on the analysis, it was concluded that RAFT strategy gave significant effecttoward students’ writing skill of recount text rather than conventional strategy. It was proven by students’ score in experimental class was higher than control class.Key words: RAFT strategy, writing skill, recount text, islamic high school

this study aims to determine human resource management in improving the quality of education. The formulation of the problems in this research are: (1) how is human resource management in improving the quality of education?, (2) what are the obstacles faced in the implementation of human resource management in improving quality?, (3) what are the factors in the implementation of human resource management in improving the quality of education?, (4) how is the quality of education?. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data obtained were collected through observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that human resource management at SD Negeri 170 Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), both in quality improvement, implementation, supporting factors and the quality of education had been running optimally

This study aims to determine the atmosphere of the academic in the midst of covid-19 pandemic at SD Negeri 169 Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU). The formulation of the problem in this study: (1) what is the academic atmosphere of SD Negeri 169 OKU in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic?, (2) what are the inhibiting factors in creating an academic atmosphere at SD Negeri 169 OKU in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic?. The type of research used is qualitative research with using qualitative descriptive analysis data. The data collection technique is done by interview, observation, documentation and triangulation. The results of the study were seen from the academic atmosphere and inhibiting factors in creating an academic atmosphere in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the academic atmosphere, the teaching and learning process at SD Negeri 169 OKU was running safely, orderly and conducive. The learning activity is distance and offline learning while adhering to health protocols in accordance with directions and instructions from the OKU District Education Office. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in creating an academic atmosphere in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic are (1) teachers find it difficult to evaluate student learning outcomes, (2) internet network constraints, (3) power lines that often go out, (4) not all students have smartphones and internet pulses, and (5) some students did not collect or send assignments given by the teacher.

This research was focused on the implementation of instructional authentic assessment in the Cutural History of Islamic Subject; class VIII, Perguruan Thawalib Putri Padang Panjang. This study aimed at describing the implementation of authentic assessment by teachers in teaching Cultural History of Islam. The design of this research was qualitative and the data collection techniques were observation and interview. The data were analysis by using Interactive Analysis Model of Miles and Huberman. The results obtained indicate that the implementation of authentic assessment had not been fully implemented by the teacher of Cultural History of Islam both in the affective and psychomotor, while the cognitive domain has been performed well.

Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) adalah pelatihan pembuatan konten online learning guru MTs Darussalam Kota Bengkulu. Mitra PkM adalah MTs Darussalam Kota Bengkulu yang berjulah 30 orang. Metode pelaksanaan ceramah, tanya jawab, praktik, dan evaluasi. Hasil pembuatan konten online learning guru MTs Darussalam Kota Bengkulu telah menunjukkan keberhasilan dan telah tercapai dengan baik sesuai dengan harapan. Para peserta pelatihan merasakan manfaat dari program ini dari sisi pengetahuan maupun teknis. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan ketrampilan dan pemahaman peserta meningkat terkait pembuatan konten online learning dengan power point. Kegitan pendampinga masih perlu dilakukan secara kontinu untuk mematangkan keterampilan guru-guru dalam pembutan konten online yang dikembangkan dari bahan ajar. The Online Learning Content Creation for Teachers in MTs Darussalam, Bengkulu City Abstract The purpose of the Community Service (PkM) activity is training in the creation of online learning content for teachers at MTs Darussalam Bengkulu City. PkM partners are MTs Darussalam Bengkulu City with a total of 30 people. Methods of implementation of lectures, questions and answers, practice, and evaluation. The results of creating online learning content for MTs Darussalam teachers in Bengkulu City have shown success and have been achieved well as expected. The training participants benefit from this program from a piece of knowledge and technical perspective. Through this activity, it is hoped that the skills and understanding of participants will increase regarding the creation of online learning content with power points. Mentoring activities still need to be carried out continuously to mature the skills of teachers in making online content developed from teaching materials.
