Abstract

Transformational leaders are leaders who can transform the organization properly so that the goals that have been formulated are achieved. In the current era, the country is being hit by the Covid-19 outbreak which has various impacts on the people of Indonesia. The government's effort to break the chain of spread of the Covid-19 virus is to implement the PSBB and PPKM systems throughout Indonesia. This type of article is written using qualitative research using literature studies. The literature study carried out in writing this article includes analysis and also studies related to books, articles, journals, or other relevant sources that are continuous with the title. The conclusion is that not during the Covid-19 pandemic has a negative impact on people in Indonesia. In terms of leadership, even with a pandemic, it can have a positive influence on the company. This is because leadership can show that it is not as long as a pandemic can hit the world, including the country in Indonesia. In addition, the spirit of leadership can undergo a transformation that there will be a period where it will provide new opportunities for the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, ease, and usefulness in the decision to use e-money on improving the performance of MSMEs in Medan City. Where researchers want to see how much influence financial literacy has on the decision to use e-money, how much influence ease of use has on the decision to use e-money, how much influence usefulness of use has on the decision to use e-money, how much influence financial literacy, ease, and usefulness in the decision to use e-money on improving the performance of MSMEs in Medan City. The dependent variable is the decision to use e-money, the independent variables are financial literacy, ease of use of e-money, and usefulness of use of e-money. This research method uses a quantitative method. The data used is primary data. Primary data was obtained using a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire from a sample of 100 MSME actors with the help of the SPSS 25.0 program. The results of the study showed that F Calculation was 35.743> F table (3.090). With a probability value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This means that the variables of Financial Literacy (X1), Ease of Use of E-Money (X2), and Usefulness of Use of E-Money (X3) together have a significant influence on the decision to use e-money to improve the performance of MSMEs in Medan City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the measurement of LAZ performance in the transformation of entitled to receive Zakat empowerment using the Islamic Performance Index (IPI) model at the Amil Zakat Institution Dompet Dhuafa North Sumatra. This type of research is field research using a comparative descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research population was 1838, and they were entitled to receive Zakat in 2022. The sample used was 329 Entitled to Receive Zakat. The analysis technique used in this research is the Islamic Performance Index (IPI), which is the indicator used to determine the condition of entitled-to-receive Zakat households. The results of this study indicate that the IPI model can be used to measure amil Zakat institutions' performance in empowering entitled to receive Zakat welfare. Even so, in this study, the increase in material income is not very significant. This happens because the entitled to receive Zakat used as a sample of respondents are consumptive beneficiaries or ZIS, so it does not significantly increase the entitled to receive Zakat income at LAZ Dompet Dhuafa Waspada. In comparison, the increase in the number of people entitled to receive Zakat religiosity looks very significant after receiving Zakat, infaq, and sadaqah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence consumers' decisions to use QRIS in the electronic parking system (E-parking) in Medan City, using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach which involves three variables: attitudes, subjective norms, and perception of behavioral control. The method used was an explanatory quantitative research with a sample of 100 respondents who used QRIS services in electronic parking transactions in Medan City. Data was collected through an online questionnaire. The results of the study show that attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavior control have a significant influence on consumers' decisions to use QRIS in E-Parking in Medan. Of the three factors, the perception of behavioral control is the most dominant factor in influencing the decision to use QRIS, which shows that the higher the perception of user convenience and control in transactions, the more likely they are to use QRIS. In addition, aspects of transaction security, system convenience, and the level of QRIS users in the community also contribute to shaping consumer decisions. This research is expected to provide insights for electronic parking service providers and policymakers in increasing QRIS users and improving public services in the electronic parking sector. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen dalam menggunakan QRIS pada sistem parkir elektronik (E-parking) di Kota Medan, dengan menggunakan pendekatan Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) yang melibatkan tiga variabel: sikap, norma subjektif, dan persepsi kontrol perilaku. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan pengambilan sampel sebanyak 100 responden yang menggunakan layanan QRIS dalam transaksi parkir elektronik di Kota Medan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap, norma subjektif, dan persepsi kontrol perilaku memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen dalam menggunakan QRIS pada E-Parking di Medan. Dari ketiga faktor tersebut, persepsi kontrol perilaku merupakan faktor yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi keputusan penggunaan QRIS, yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi kemudahan dan kendali pengguna dalam transaksi, semakin besar kemungkinan mereka untuk menggunakan QRIS. Selain itu, aspek keamanan transaksi, kemudahan sistem, serta tingkat pengguna QRIS di masyarakat juga berkontribusi dalam membentuk keputusan konsumen. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi penyedia layanan parkir elektronik dan pembuat kebijakan dalam meningkatkan pengguna QRIS serta memperbaiki pelayanan publik di sektor parkir elektronik.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to measure the performance of the Dompet Dhuafa North Sumatra Zakat collection institution in the transformation of mustahiq empowerment using the Islamic performance index (IPI) model. Method – This type of research is field research using a comparative descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Primary data was obtained through online and offline questionnaires. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from the annual report of the Dompet Dhuafa North Sumatra Zakat institution. The research population was 1896 Mustahiq in 2023. Using Slovin's formula, the sample size was 330 mustahiq. The analysis technique used in this study is the IPI model. Findings – The findings of this study demonstrate that the IPI model is applicable for assessing the performance of amil zakat institutions in enhancing the welfare of mustahiq. Nevertheless, in this study, the augmentation of material income is negligible, specifically, 25 mustahiq among 330 respondents. The increase in mustahiq religiosity significantly after acquiring zakat, infaq, and sadaqah, encompassing 316 mustahiq individuals. Implications – This research makes an important contribution to the literature on sharia-based zakat management by introducing the IPI model as a more holistic and integrated evaluation tool. On the practical side, the findings of this research provide valuable guidance for zakat institutions in designing more impactful and sustainable mustahiq empowerment programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the digital-based business development strategy with a pentahelix approach at Bolen Bunda Ibra in Rantau Prapat. The background of the problem raised is the challenges faced by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in utilizing digital technology to increase competitiveness in the industrial era 4.0. The novelty of this research lies in the application of the pentahelix model which involves collaboration between government, academics, businesses, communities, and the media in developing effective digital strategies. This research uses the SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results) analysis method which is a development of SWOT analysis and QSPM (Quantitative, Strategic, Planning, Matrix) matrix. It is suggested that the importance of collaboration between stakeholders in encouraging the digital transformation of MSMEs, as well as the need for policy support and training to improve the digital literacy of bolen bunda ibra rantauprapat business actors.

Abstract

Improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) through the utilization of Zakat, Infak, Sedekah, and Waqf (ZISWAF) funds is the primary strategy in supporting education for underprivileged communities in West Pasaman Regency. This study aims to analyze the plan for improving the quality of HR through the utilization of ZISWAF funds in the Smart West Pasaman program managed by BAZNAS. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques that include interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that impact the program's success. The results of the study show an IFAS value of 3.06865 and an EFAS value of 2.98861, which places the program in quadrant I on the Cartesian diagram with an aggressive strategy (SO). This strategy leverages internal strengths to capitalize on external opportunities, such as government regulatory support and high demand for education. The implications of this study suggest that the strategic utilization of ZISWAF funds can expand the scope of beneficiaries, enhance program effectiveness, and contribute sustainably to improving the quality of human resources in West Pasaman Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-management dan motivasi terhadap tingkat stres mahasiswa dalam penyelesaian tugas akhir di Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam yang sedang dalam tahap penyelesaian tugas akhir sebanyak 1862 mahasiswa. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 95 mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam UINSU angkatan 2020–2021. Dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan metode proportional stratified random sampling. Populasi dibagi berdasarkan program studi dan angkatan (2020 dan 2021), kemudian sampel diambil secara acak dari setiap strata secara proporsional. Teknik ini dipilih agar representasi tiap program studi seperti Ekonomi Islam, Perbankan Syariah, Asuransi Syariah, Akuntansi Syariah, dan Manajemen, tetap terjaga. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan penyebaran kuesioner (dengan skala likert) kepada responden mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam UINSU. Analisis data kuantitatif meliputi uji kualitas data (validitas, reliabilitas), uji asumsi klasik (normalitas, multikolinieritas dan heteroskedastisitas), regresi linear berganda serta uji hipotesis uji t (parsial) dan uji-f (simultan) dan determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-management berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap tingkat stres, sedangkan motivasi justru berpengaruh positif signifikan. Kedua variabel ini secara simultan menjelaskan 81,7% variasi tingkat stres mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam UINSU yang sedang menyelesaikan tugas akhir.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between Online Customer Experience (OCE) and TikTok Shop users' Customer Satisfaction (CS) and Repurchase Intention (RI), with CS serving as a mediating variable. As social media-based e-commerce has gained popularity, especially among Indonesia's youth, TikTok Shop has emerged as a prominent online marketplace. As part of a quantitative approach, a survey was completed by 100 respondents who had made purchases on TikTok Shop over the last six months. The data was examined using multiple linear regression and mediation tests using SPSS 26. The results show that OCE has a positive and substantial impact on CS. RI is also significantly impacted by CS. However, when CS is included as a mediating variable, the direct effect of OCE on RI is minimal, indicating that CS fully mediates the relationship between customer experience and repurchase intention. These findings highlight how important it is to offer a comprehensive and satisfying user experience in order to foster customer loyalty on digital platforms. This research recommends that TikTok Shop businesses focus their strategy on enhancing customer happiness and experience quality in order to retain consumers, given the growing competition in the e-commerce industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Fintech on the development of E-Mas products at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Adam Malik Medan. E-Mas products, as an innovation in Islamic banking, must fulfill sharia principles such as clear ownership and legal contracts. This research uses a qualitative approach with Field Research method to explore in depth the influence of Fintech on the development of e-mas services at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Adam Malik Medan. Data was collected through interviews. The results showed that Fintech plays a positive role in accelerating the digitalization of Islamic banking and increasing gold investment literacy in the community, especially among parents. Nonetheless, Gen Z customers show greater interest in the use of e-mas and other digital features. The success of these services depends not only on technological sophistication, but also on the effectiveness of education, digital infrastructure readiness, and sharia integrity. Therefore, collaboration between banks, regulators, and the community is essential to develop a fair, inclusive, and sustainable Islamic Fintech ecosystem.
