Abstract

Background: Women entrepreneurship is emerging as a significant catalyst for sustainable development and economic growth in urban and rural areas in Indonesia. Empirical evidence suggests that women entrepreneurs having rich social capital and strong entrepreneurial orientation tend to achieve positive business performance.Purpose: This paper investigates the impact of social capital and entrepreneurial orientation on the business performance of women entrepreneurs in Bogor.Design/methodology/approach: A survey was administered to a sample of 136 women-led enterprises in Bogor. The independent variable of social capital was operationalized as trust, norms, and networking, while entrepreneurial orientation was assessed in terms of innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking. Profitability indicating business performance served as the dependent variable. Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis was performed to test the hypothesized subsequent relationships between the variables.Findings/result: This paper reveals that social capital significantly enhances entrepreneurial orientation (t-stat = 7.192, p < 0.01), and entrepreneurial orientation positively impacts the business performance of women-led enterprises (t-stat = 4.857, p < 0.01). Furthermore, entrepreneurial orientation mediates the relationship between social capital and business performance, as indicated by a significant indirect effect (t-stat = 3.442, p < 0.01).Conclusion: This paper proves the importance of social capital (namely norms, trust, and networking) and entrepreneurial orientation (including risk-taking, proactiveness, and innovativeness) to enhance the profitability of women-led firms. Enhancing social capital can be encouraged through family support, networks, business community engagement, and stakeholder policies in improving entrepreneurial orientation in women, leading to improved business performance and economic growth in Bogor.Originality/value (State of the art): This paper contributes to a better understanding how business performance of women entrepreneurs is influenced by subsequent relationships of social capital and entrepreneurial orientation, including the mediating role of entrepreneurial orientation. Abstract

Penelitian ini fokus pada penerapan media pembelajaran menggunakan Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) yang dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemahaman mahasiswa STKIP Yapis Dompu. Perkembangan teknologi membawa banyak inovasi dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk media pendukung pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, teknologi sangat berperan penting dalam menunjang aktivitas Dosen maupun Mahasiswa, Teknologi merupakan salah satu sarana yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran. Aplikasi OBS Studio merupakan aplikasi media komunikasi yang dapat menyiarkan siaran langsung maupun non-langsung. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat aplikasi OBS bagi mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Partisipan penelitian adalah 5 orang mahasiswa Program Studi Teknologi Informasi STKIP Yapis Dompu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi OBS Studio bermanfaat sebagai penunjang pembelajaran mahasiswa khususnya mata kuliah Teknologi Informasi STKIP Yapis Dompu. penggunaan media pembelajaran oleh mahasiswa pada mata kuliah teknologi informasi (TI) menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan software OBS lebih praktis sehingga dalam pembelajaran lebih baik. Oleh karena itu kita harus bisa memanfaatkan media ketika belajar. Media yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran adalah simulasi, sehingga dapat mempelajari cara kerja sistem dan cara pengoperasian media video dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

Critical discourse studies as manifested are not just an analysis of people's social behavior as reflected through language. In relation to critical discourse studies, the language units that are the object of study are narrated as a reflection of social praxis, where linguistic units that are suspected of containing criticism can be used as material to reconstruct the intent or purpose of conveying criticism; whether criticism is aimed only at building humor between epistemic groups or is it more than just criticizing, meaning that criticism is used to fight against the domination of power. This research aims to describe the status of criticism in the principles of interpretation of critical discourse studies, especially with regard to global, local meaning and context models. The source of research data was obtained by transcribing criticism of subpoena video footage on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach, in which data was collected using a free-to-read, skillful listening method. The data is then analyzed by interpreting the context, semantic macrostructure, local and global meaning, relevance of the formal structure of discourse, and interpretation of the context model using the extralingual equivalent method. The results of the research show that the criticism made by comedians on Deddy Corbuzier's summons channel contains three strategic problems which are manifested by interpreting global, local meanings, as well as the discourse context model in the criticism.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan menjadi sebuah hal yang fundamental dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan, yang dalam dinamikanya pemimpin pendidikan bertugas menciptakan iklim organisasi  yang kondusif bersama-sama pengikutnya. Pemimpin juga memberikan motivasi kerja kepada guru sebagai kelompok yang terorganisir untuk mencapai visi misi yang dicanangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya kepemimpinan  yang diterapkan dan berkontribusi secara substansial terhadap iklim organisasi sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara terhadap Kepala Sekolah dan lima orang guru di SMA Raudhatul Ulum Gondanglegi Kabupaten Malang untuk menggali informasi tentang gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam menumbuhkan kondusifitas iklim organisasi sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah lebih banyak menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan distributif, dengan pendekatan situasional terutama partisipasi dan delegasi. Penelitian ini mengusulkan diterapkannya gaya kepemimpinan transformasional di SMA Raudhatul Ulum sebagai rekomendasi untuk Kepala Sekolah yang  sangat dibutuhkan kehadirannya di tengah-tengah pengikutnya. Kepala sekolah harus mengenal bawahan dengan baik untuk memberikan bimbingan dan dukungan yang bersifat  membangun kinerja bawahan serta mendorong perubahan nilai-nilai dan keyakinan bawahan untuk lebih maju menatap masa depan organisasi.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether the variables Liquidity (CR), Solvency (DAR), and Profitability (ROA) have an influence on Profit Changes at PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. The population in this study is all financial report data of PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk for the 2014-2021 period in each quarter, while the samples in this study are statements of financial position and profit/loss reports. The documentation technique is the data collection technique used. The collected data were analyzed using financial ratios which were then entered into the multiple linear regression equation. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be seen that partially the current ratio and debt to assets ratio do not have a significant effect on changes in earnings. These results are inconsistent with (H1) and (H2) which say the current ratio and debt to asset ratio partially have an influence on changes in earnings. It is also known that partially the return on assets has a significant effect on changes in earnings. These results are in accordance with (H3) which says return on assets has an influence on changes in earnings. From the results of this analysis it can also be seen that simultaneously the current ratio, debt to assets ratio, and return on assets do not have a significant effect on changes in earnings. This result is inconsistent with (H4) which states that the current ratio, debt to asset ratio, and return on assets simultaneously have an influence on changes in earnings.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance, (2) determine the effect of employee commitment on employee performance, (3) determine the effect of job satisfaction and employee commitment jointly on employee performance at the Makassar City Social Service . The data used in this study are primary and secondary data with a total sample of 69 respondents. This study used a quantitative approach and was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 22 data processing to prove three hypotheses. The results of this study prove that the variable Job Satisfaction has a significant effect on Employee Performance with a t count of 2.964 > t table of 1.996. The Employee Commitment variable has a significant effect with a t count of 2.943 > t table of 1.996. Based on the results of this study it is also known that the independent variables jointly or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance at the Makassar City Social Service. Therefore, if job satisfaction and employee commitment continue to be improved, it will certainly increase employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence on employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of Enrekang Regency. The independent variable in this study is employee competency, while the dependent variable is employee performance. This type of research is quantitative research. The number of respondents used in this study were 30 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is simple linear regression analysis using SPSS 13.00 for windows. The results of this study were obtained from the t test showing a significant influence between the two variables with a sig probability. of 0.009 where this value is much smaller than 0.05. This means that competence has a significant influence on employee performance. Because the significant value is smaller than the error rate (0.05). The conclusion is that employee competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of Enrekang Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Job Satisfaction and Compensation on Turnover Intention at PT Hadji Kalla Urip Sumoharjo Branch, Panakkukang District, Makassar City, the subjects in this study were 51 employees working at PT Hadji Kalla Urip Sumoharjo Branch. This research is included in quantitative research and quantitative analysis to test the research hypothesis using the IMB SPSS version 25 software. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. This is evidenced by the t value of -3.055 where <t table (2.00958) and a significance value of 0.004 <0.05. The results of the study show that compensation has no significant effect on turnover intention. This is evidenced by the t value of 0.615 < t table (2.00958) and a significance value of 0.541 > 0.05. The results of the study show that job satisfaction and compensation have a simultaneous effect on turnover intention. This is evidenced by the calculated F value of 11.859 > 3.19 and a significance value of 0.001 <0.05.

Abstract

Persoalan tentang kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Narmada masih jauh dari harapan. Minat belajar siswa kelas siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Narmada tergolong rendah dikarenakan oleh salah satunya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu tujuan peneitian ini adalah mengembangankan media pembelajaran yang dirancang untuk bisa meningkatkan kemampuan siswa di dalam menulis teks eksposisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis), (Design), (Development), (Implementation), (Evaluate) dalam merancang sebuah media pembelajaran. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode wawancara, metode kepustakaan/dokumentasi, metode obervasi, metode kuesioner dan metode tes. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif, kegiatan analisis data kualitatif dilakukan secara bersamaan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Pada data kuantitatif yaitu, data berupa hasil uji coba media pembelajaran melalui penilaian kuesioner dari validitas ahli, guru Bahasa Indonesia, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penggunaan beberapa metode dalam memperoleh data bisa dikatakan valid, dapat dilihat pada total skor yang diperoleh dari hasil validasi oleh 2 dosen ahli, yaitu pada komponen isi/materi skor yang diperoleh adalah 82, pada komponen bahasa skor yang diperoleh adalah 87,5 , dan pada komponen media skor yang diperoleh adalah 58, dimana skor yang diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli sudah dinyatakan baik/layak diuji coba dan perlu direvisi. Setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan terjadi  peningkatan terhadap nilai pretest dengan rerata 57,83 ke nilai posttest dengan rerata 87,66 dengan hasil perbandingan peresentase yaitu 55% termasuk dalam kategori baik/ layak diuji coba dan perlu direvisi.

Abstract

Disputes are a natural thing and often occur in shariah banking, but it is not always caused by banking errors, but also customer errors. This study aims to reveal two main things, namely: (1) to find out how the application of UU No. 21 Tahun 2008 on Sharia Banking Dispute Settlement, (2) to find out how to resolve Sharia Banking Disputes according to istishlah. The approach used is qualitative which is descriptive. Based on the research conducted by the author, the results of the conclusion that: 1) In determining a case, the Religious Court looks at it from the point of view of the Law (Preferred), Sharia principles and also what cases the plaintiff experienced. If there is a dispute that does not meet the criteria in the Constitution, it will be immediately rejected. 2) Istishlah is a view that is more inclined to choose a middle ground of a problem so as not to cause harm to people. If there is a problem that cannot be resolved due to a dispute in the banking of shariah, in the religious court because the problem does not meet the requirements described in the constitution, the problem can be resolved through deliberation, as-sulh, tahkim, hisbah, and judicial channels (qadha).
