Inclusive education services through Individualized Education Programs (IEP) often struggle with administrative formalities lacking spiritual depth. This study aims to evaluate IEP quality by integrating Total Quality Management (TQM) and the value of Itqan as a solution for the desecularization of Islamic education management. Employing a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design at SD Plus Al Ghifari, data were collected via questionnaires from 66 respondents and in-depth interviews with key informants. Quantitative findings indicate that both TQM and Itqan significantly influence IEP quality, with Itqan providing a dominant contribution (0.528). Qualitative findings reveal that program effectiveness is driven by a culture of muraqabah (divine consciousness) and daily muhasabah (self-reflection), transforming professionalism into a form of worship. In conclusion, integrating transcendental dimensions into modern managerial systems creates a Spiritual Quality Management model that ensures precision and accountability for students with special needs. This study recommends internalizing Islamic work ethics as a primary catalyst for quality assurance in inclusive Islamic educational institutions.

The development of digital technology requires students to have a strong understanding of ethics, especially in the use of social media in accordance with Islamic teachings. However, the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning is often influenced by classroom dynamics and the quality of available learning resources. This study aims to analyze the influence of student discussion activities and the quality of teaching materials on IRE comprehension, particularly regarding social media etiquette. The research method used is quantitative, with a causal-associative approach. The research sample consisted of 148 high school students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine partial and simultaneous effects. Significant findings in this study indicate that: (1) Discussion activity has a positive and significant impact on student understanding; the initiative to argue and ask questions has been proven to strengthen mastery of the material. (2) The quality of systematic and relevant teaching materials significantly facilitates students’ absorption of information. (3) Simultaneously, both variables contribute 55.9% ($R^2 = 0.559$) to student understanding, while other factors influence the rest. The study concludes that collaboration between active learning processes and effective learning media is the key to mastering the material. The implication of this research for educators is the need to design teaching materials rich in contextual case studies and to create interactive discussion spaces. Integrated improvements in the quality of these two aspects can significantly minimize the misuse of social media among adolescents by strengthening their understanding of Islamic values.

Pendidikan kejuruan pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) masih menghadapi kesenjangan antara kompetensi lulusan dan kebutuhan dunia industri, sehingga kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menjadi faktor strategis dalam peningkatan mutu lulusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran dan strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu lulusan berbasis kebutuhan industri di SMK Ma’arif Al Mizan Jatiwangi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, pengelola program keahlian, serta mitra industri. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik dengan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin strategis dalam penguatan mutu pembelajaran, pengelolaan kemitraan industri, serta penerapan manajemen mutu berkelanjutan melalui siklus Plan–Do–Check–Act. Kepemimpinan yang adaptif dan sistematis berkontribusi pada peningkatan relevansi kompetensi dan kesiapan kerja lulusan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretik berupa model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berbasis kemitraan industri yang mengintegrasikan kepemimpinan strategis, manajemen mutu, dan budaya kerja industri.

This research is motivated by the urgency of strengthening students' independent character amidst the challenges of globalization, technological disruption, and social complexity which demand adaptive competencies and life skills (life skills) which is integral.The purpose of this study is to analyze the planning, implementation, evaluation, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of life skills-based curriculum innovation in developing students' independent character.This research employed a qualitative approach with a multi-site study method. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis employed an interactive model that encompassed data reduction, data presentation, and continuous conclusion drawing.The results of the study show that the management of life skills-based curriculum innovation in both madrasas was implemented systematically through participatory planning, strengthening institutional vision, and integration.life skills in subjects, as well as character building through madrasah culture. The implementation of these innovations has had a significant impact on the development of students' independent character, characterized by increased personal responsibility, learning independence, decision-making skills, and readiness to face social challenges. An effective management model is supported by transformational leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous evaluation.

Various foundations and policies have been seen to support the implementation of Islamic Religious Education, including the implementation of Islamic Religious Education in Public Higher Education. However, in its implementation, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in Public Higher Education faces various complex challenges. This research aims to identify and describe various challenges, especially the challenges of learning Islamic Religious Public Higher Education, as well as approaches and strategies for dealing with them. This type of research is a type of qualitative research with a library study method. The results of this research show that the challenges of PAI learning in Public Higher Education include curriculum challenges, learning implementation challenges, student input challenges, challenges of the impact of globalization, challenges of stigma towards PAI courses, challenges to the position of Islamic education in the National Education System, challenges of the educational environment that provide space for radicalism or liberalism movements, challenges to the competence of PAI lecturers, challenges of learning methods, challenges of Islamic Religious Education orientation, challenges of preparation and selection strategies material PAI, deepening and expanding challenges semantics and genetics are key and basic terms in religious teachings. To face these various challenges, the right approach and strategy are needed.

ABSTRAKÂ Penelitian dilatabelakangi oleh keragaman etinik, suku bangsa, bahasa, warna kulit, agama, dan status sosial masyarakat di Jawa Barat yang berpotensi terjadinya konflik horizontal apabila tidak dibekali dengan pendidikan multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustaan dan teknik konten analisis. Data yang diperoleh dikompulasi, dianalisis dan disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendidikan multikultural memiliki peran penting dalam rangka menumbuhkan sikap saling menghargai, tidak mudah curiga, dan membangkitkan semangat untuk menjaga keutuhan NKRI. Walaupun penelitian mengenai pendidikan multikultural sudah banyak dilakukan, namun kenyataannya model pendidikan seperti ini belum dapat direalisasikan secara utuh dalam jiwa masyarakat Jawa Barat. Oleh karenanya, diperlukan adanya strategi pengembangan pendidikan multikultural untuk menjaga keharmonisan masyarakat di Jawa Barat serta menumbuhkan sikap pluralisme dan menghargai perbedaan. Strategi pengembangan yang dapat dilakukan adalah brainstorming (tukar gagasan) danÂ pelaksanaan kegiatan, baik yang bersifat wacana (seperti seminar, lokakarya, dan talk show), maupun yang bersifat praktis (seperti riset, penyusunan modul, penyusunan kurikulum baru, pembuatan buku, pelatihan-pelatihan, simulasi, kampanye media dan lainnya).Â Kata Kunci: Strategi, Pendidikan Multikultural, PengembanganÂ Â ABSTRACTÂ The research is motivated by the diversity of ethics, ethnicity, language, skin color, religion, and social status of the people in West Java which has the potential for horizontal conflicts if not equipped with multicultural education.This study uses a qualitative analysis with library research methods and content analysis techniques. The data obtained is compiled, analyzed and concluded. The results showed that multicultural education has an important role in the framework of fostering mutual support, not being suspicious, and encouraging the spirit to maintain the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. Although research on multicultural education has been done a lot, supporting this educational model cannot be fully realized in the soul of the people of West Java. Therefore, there is a need for a multicultural education development strategy to demand harmony in the community in West Java and also foster pluralism and respect for differences. Development strategies that can be carried out are brainstorming (instead of leadership) and implementation of activities, both those that oppose discourse (such as seminars, training, and talk shows), and also practical ones (such as research, module settings, new curriculum connections, bookmaking, training, simulations, media campaigns, and others).Â Keywords: Development, Multicultural Education, Strategy

This study addresses the gap in systematic frameworks connecting Islamic environmental jurisprudence with contemporary environmental education principles, analyzing current practices and developing evidence-based integration models. This study employed a systematic literature review with a mixed-method synthesis following PRISMA guidelines. Data consisted of 53 peer-reviewed empirical articles published between 2021–2025, retrieved from the Scopus database using structured keyword combinations related to Islamic education and environmental sustainability. Data were collected through systematic screening, inclusion–exclusion criteria, and standardized extraction forms. Analysis was conducted using directed and conventional content analysis combined with thematic synthesis to identify integration patterns, challenges, and opportunities. Trustworthiness was ensured through triangulation of sources, transparent audit trails, and expert validation to enhance reliability and analytical rigor. The results show uneven integration of environmental education in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Most institutions remain at early stages, with 53% applying thematic integration that embeds environmental issues superficially within Islamic subjects, while 23% offer specialized courses and only 9% achieve comprehensive institutional integration aligned with Islamic ecological principles such as khalifah fi al-ardh and maqashid al-shari‘ah. The remaining 15% reflect sporadic inclusion with minimal educational impact. These patterns indicate limited systemic transformation within Islamic education. Major constraints include teacher competency gaps, resource limitations, and weak policy support, while opportunities arise from increasing sustainability policies, digital learning potential, and support from Islamic organizations, positioning pesantren as strategic actors for advancing integrated Islamic environmental education.

This study examines Arabic language teachers’ readiness to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into instructional practices, identifies key challenges, and explores strategic opportunities for pedagogical use. A qualitative library research design was applied using descriptive-analytical and comparative methods based on peer-reviewed literature (2019–2025) on artificial intelligence, language education, and teacher readiness. Findings indicate that teacher readiness remains at an early, uneven stage, shaped by a socio-technical configuration comprising digital literacy, pedagogical competence, psychological disposition, and institutional support. From a TPACK perspective, technological knowledge is less developed than pedagogical and content knowledge, limiting effective integration of AI in Arabic language learning. Psychological barriers such as technological anxiety and low self-efficacy, along with unequal infrastructure and policy support, further constrain adoption. However, gradual exposure to AI tools fosters experiential learning and incremental development of readiness. Despite challenges, LLMs offer opportunities for improved learning effectiveness, personalized instruction, the development of higher-order thinking, and the integration of Islamic educational values. The study conceptualizes teacher readiness as a socio-technical and developmental construct. It highlights the need for AI literacy development, curriculum redesign, and institutional policy support to ensure ethical and sustainable integration of LLMs in Arabic language education.

This study explores the strategy of strengthening multicultural values at IAIN Manado within the framework of Islamic higher education management. The research is based on the urgency of multicultural education as a response to Indonesia’s diverse sociocultural landscape. It addresses three main questions: how multicultural education is conceptualized at IAIN Manado, what strategies and practices are implemented, and what challenges and opportunities are encountered. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal that multicultural education is embedded in institutional policies, academic practices, and campus social activities, such as culturally responsive curriculum integration, interfaith forums, and gender equality training. Lecturers' strategies reflect equitable and diversity-responsive pedagogy. Despite challenges such as limited gender-inclusive facilities and lack of intercultural communication training, institutional commitment and local community involvement provide strategic opportunities. These findings showcase a model of inclusive Islamic higher education that is contextually relevant to fostering a multicultural society.

Modern society lives in an environment characterized by increasingly complex cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity due to the influence of globalization. This condition demands that the education system, especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI), adapt so that it does not only emphasize ritual and dogmatic aspects, but also fosters mutual respect, empathy, and tolerance between religious communities. Without a pluralism-based approach, PAI learning has the potential to become rigid and less relevant to the social reality of students. Therefore, it is essential to incorporate pluralistic values, such as respect for differences, compassion, and cooperation, into the learning process from an early age. This principle aligns with QS. Al-Hujurat verse 13 which emphasizes the importance of recognizing and respecting diversity. Teachers play a role as facilitators in creating an inclusive, reflective, and dialogical learning environment, so that the values of pluralism can be internalized naturally in students. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilising case studies at SMPN 46 Bandung and SMPN 2 Cileunyi. The research results show that the internalization of pluralistic values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning occurs systematically, contextually, and effectively through experience-based learning activities, teacher role models, and a supportive school culture. This process successfully shapes students' religious character to be tolerant, inclusive, and virtuous. Therefore, pluralistic character education in PAI is a crucial strategy in preparing a religious generation capable of living harmoniously in a diverse and dynamic society.
