Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang Pendidikan Hijau (Green Education) Dalam Menghadapi Isu Nasional Dan Global. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif di salah satu Madrasah Aliyah di Kabupaten Kuningan, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Globalisasi membawa dampak yang besar terhadap kehidupan dan lingkungan. Adanya perubahan iklim ekstrem, krisis pangan, dan kesulitan ekonomi yang sedang berlangsung saat ini merupakan salah satu contoh isu-isu keberlanjutan yang harus dihadapi di dunia global saat ini. Mengingat pentingnya lingkungan bagi kehidupan manusia maka perlu adanya bentuk tanggung jawab atas keberlanjutannya lingkungan untuk generasi akan datang. Sekolah memiliki akses untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan hijau melalui penerapan metode Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) pembangunan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan sikap dalam pengambilan keputusan mengenai isu-isu yang berkenaan dengan kualitas lingkungan baik secara nasional maupun global. Dengan metode ini diharapkan selain pembangunan berkelanjutan berhasil juga lingkungan mengalami kenaikan kualitas.

Abstract

Religious education subjects in the national curriculum are included in the mandatory curriculum with an allocation of three hours of lessons per week. Graduate competency standards regarding graduate ability qualifications that include attitudes, knowledge and skills. Related to the competence of attitudes that must be possessed by learners in Islamic religious subjects is religious attitudes and social attitudes, where the demands of competence on the ability to live and practice the teachings of Islam in accordance with the demands of basic competencies, both in terms of religion and social side. To achieve this competency, schools that combine the national curriculum and religious excellence curriculum, such as Mutiara Bunda High School. SMA Mutiara Bunda develops islamic religious education content in a religious program. This program refers to the demands of naisonal curriculum, SKL and school visions. Religious programs at Mutiara Bunda High School are carried out in a variety of activities, with different times, such as daily, monthly, semester, yearly and PHBI activities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data description is obtained from the results of library studies, observations and interviews. The core of Islamic religious education subjects is the attitude concerning the faith of students, SMA Mutiara Bunda has facilitated it through religious programs.

Abstract

Kurikulum PAI di berbagai jenjang pendidikan sering kali dikritik karena kurang menekankan pada aspek yang relevan dengan kehidupan kontemporer. Pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar dan Menengah, kurikulum lebih fokus pada hafalan materi-materi keagamaan dan ritual, sementara kurang menekankan pada pemahaman nilai-nilai universal Islam seperti toleransi, etika sosial, dan isu-isu global. Di Perguruan Tinggi, PAI terkadang dianggap terlalu teoretis dan kurang aplikatif dalam menghadapi problematika kehidupan mahasiswa di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sorotan dan kritik Pengelolaan Pembelajaran PAI di Sekolah dan Perguruan Tinggi beserta Alternatif solusinya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dalam bentuk kajian pustaka. Sorotan dan kritik terhadap pengelolaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam ialah mengacu pada pendekatan pembelajaran yang masih menerapkan pendidikan konvensional dimana pembelajaran masih klasikal, kurangnya kemajuan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik yang rendah. Alternatif solusi yang ditawarkan adalah melalui penerapan CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dalam pembelajaran PAI, penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran PAI dan peningkatan kompetensi Guru PAI.

Abstract

Modern society lives in an environment characterized by increasingly complex cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity due to the influence of globalization. This condition demands that the education system, especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI), adapt so that it does not only emphasize ritual and dogmatic aspects, but also fosters mutual respect, empathy, and tolerance between religious communities. Without a pluralism-based approach, PAI learning has the potential to become rigid and less relevant to the social reality of students. Therefore, it is essential to incorporate pluralistic values, such as respect for differences, compassion, and cooperation, into the learning process from an early age. This principle aligns with QS. Al-Hujurat verse 13 which emphasizes the importance of recognizing and respecting diversity. Teachers play a role as facilitators in creating an inclusive, reflective, and dialogical learning environment, so that the values of pluralism can be internalized naturally in students. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilising case studies at SMPN 46 Bandung and SMPN 2 Cileunyi. The research results show that the internalization of pluralistic values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning occurs systematically, contextually, and effectively through experience-based learning activities, teacher role models, and a supportive school culture. This process successfully shapes students' religious character to be tolerant, inclusive, and virtuous. Therefore, pluralistic character education in PAI is a crucial strategy in preparing a religious generation capable of living harmoniously in a diverse and dynamic society.

Abstract

This study addresses the gap in systematic frameworks connecting Islamic environmental jurisprudence with contemporary environmental education principles, analyzing current practices and developing evidence-based integration models. This study employed a systematic literature review with a mixed-method synthesis following PRISMA guidelines. Data consisted of 53 peer-reviewed empirical articles published between 2021–2025, retrieved from the Scopus database using structured keyword combinations related to Islamic education and environmental sustainability. Data were collected through systematic screening, inclusion–exclusion criteria, and standardized extraction forms. Analysis was conducted using directed and conventional content analysis combined with thematic synthesis to identify integration patterns, challenges, and opportunities. Trustworthiness was ensured through triangulation of sources, transparent audit trails, and expert validation to enhance reliability and analytical rigor. The results show uneven integration of environmental education in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Most institutions remain at early stages, with 53% applying thematic integration that embeds environmental issues superficially within Islamic subjects, while 23% offer specialized courses and only 9% achieve comprehensive institutional integration aligned with Islamic ecological principles such as khalifah fi al-ardh and maqashid al-shari‘ah. The remaining 15% reflect sporadic inclusion with minimal educational impact. These patterns indicate limited systemic transformation within Islamic education. Major constraints include teacher competency gaps, resource limitations, and weak policy support, while opportunities arise from increasing sustainability policies, digital learning potential, and support from Islamic organizations, positioning pesantren as strategic actors for advancing integrated Islamic environmental education.

Abstract

This study explores the strategy of strengthening multicultural values at IAIN Manado within the framework of Islamic higher education management. The research is based on the urgency of multicultural education as a response to Indonesia’s diverse sociocultural landscape. It addresses three main questions: how multicultural education is conceptualized at IAIN Manado, what strategies and practices are implemented, and what challenges and opportunities are encountered. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal that multicultural education is embedded in institutional policies, academic practices, and campus social activities, such as culturally responsive curriculum integration, interfaith forums, and gender equality training. Lecturers' strategies reflect equitable and diversity-responsive pedagogy. Despite challenges such as limited gender-inclusive facilities and lack of intercultural communication training, institutional commitment and local community involvement provide strategic opportunities. These findings showcase a model of inclusive Islamic higher education that is contextually relevant to fostering a multicultural society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) dan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Eksternal (SPME) di SMA IT Nurul Fajri Bekasi, dengan fokus pada integrasi kedua sistem tersebut untuk mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian mencakup kepala sekolah, guru, dan tim mutu internal sebanyak 12 orang, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMA IT Nurul Fajri berhasil menerapkan SPMI melalui siklus PPEPP (Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Evaluasi, Pengendalian, dan Peningkatan), yang selaras dengan prinsip continuous improvement dalam Total Quality Management (TQM). Sementara itu, hasil evaluasi eksternal dari BAN-S/M digunakan secara strategis untuk memperkuat rencana mutu internal. Integrasi antara SPMI dan SPME mencerminkan prinsip holistic management, di mana evaluasi internal dan eksternal saling melengkapi untuk menciptakan sinergi yang efektif. Faktor-faktor seperti kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, keterlibatan aktif guru, fasilitas yang memadai, dan dukungan stakeholder eksternal menjadi pendorong keberhasilan, meskipun tantangan seperti resistensi terhadap perubahan budaya kerja dan kendala administratif tetap dihadapi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi SPMI dan SPME dapat menjadi model penjaminan mutu yang efektif bagi sekolah lain, dengan memanfaatkan hasil evaluasi eksternal sebagai dasar untuk perbaikan internal. Implikasi praktisnya, sekolah lain dapat mengadopsi pendekatan ini untuk menciptakan budaya mutu yang berkelanjutan, sementara pembuat kebijakan dapat menggunakan temuan ini untuk merancang pelatihan yang lebih relevan bagi kepala sekolah dan guru.

Abstract

Inclusive education services through Individualized Education Programs (IEP) often struggle with administrative formalities lacking spiritual depth. This study aims to evaluate IEP quality by integrating Total Quality Management (TQM) and the value of Itqan as a solution for the desecularization of Islamic education management. Employing a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design at SD Plus Al Ghifari, data were collected via questionnaires from 66 respondents and in-depth interviews with key informants. Quantitative findings indicate that both TQM and Itqan significantly influence IEP quality, with Itqan providing a dominant contribution (0.528). Qualitative findings reveal that program effectiveness is driven by a culture of muraqabah (divine consciousness) and daily muhasabah (self-reflection), transforming professionalism into a form of worship. In conclusion, integrating transcendental dimensions into modern managerial systems creates a Spiritual Quality Management model that ensures precision and accountability for students with special needs. This study recommends internalizing Islamic work ethics as a primary catalyst for quality assurance in inclusive Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires students to have a strong understanding of ethics, especially in the use of social media in accordance with Islamic teachings. However, the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning is often influenced by classroom dynamics and the quality of available learning resources. This study aims to analyze the influence of student discussion activities and the quality of teaching materials on IRE comprehension, particularly regarding social media etiquette. The research method used is quantitative, with a causal-associative approach. The research sample consisted of 148 high school students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine partial and simultaneous effects. Significant findings in this study indicate that: (1) Discussion activity has a positive and significant impact on student understanding; the initiative to argue and ask questions has been proven to strengthen mastery of the material. (2) The quality of systematic and relevant teaching materials significantly facilitates students’ absorption of information. (3) Simultaneously, both variables contribute 55.9% ($R^2 = 0.559$) to student understanding, while other factors influence the rest. The study concludes that collaboration between active learning processes and effective learning media is the key to mastering the material. The implication of this research for educators is the need to design teaching materials rich in contextual case studies and to create interactive discussion spaces. Integrated improvements in the quality of these two aspects can significantly minimize the misuse of social media among adolescents by strengthening their understanding of Islamic values.
