Abstract

This study is a causal study with a quantitative approach. This study was conducted at the Medan Palm Oil Research Center (PPKS) with a population that became a saturated sample of 150 employees at the Medan City Palm Oil Research Center. The results of this study indicate that servant leadership has a positive and significant influence on OCB in employees of the Palm Oil Research Center. Servant leadership has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction in employees of the Palm Oil Research Center. Job satisfaction does not affect OCB in employees of the Palm Oil Research Center. And servant leadership does not affect OCB through job satisfaction of employees at the Palm Oil Research Center

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan materi suhu dan kalor.. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket yang ditujukan untuk validator ahli materi, media dan ahli pembelajar. Hasil validitas media yang dikembangkan dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus prosentase skor dan diinterpretasikan sesuai dengan interpretasi skala likert. E-modul yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan tahapan-tahapan seperti pada model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Hal ini untuk memudahkan siswa untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan konsep fisika.. Setelah dilakukan validasi pada media pembelajaran didapatkan hasil skor rata-rata keseluruhan aspek oleh ahli materi sebesar 81.53 %, oleh ahli media sebesar 75.78%, dan skor rata-rata keseluruhan aspek oleh ahli pembelajar sebesar 94,36 %. Berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli pembelajar tersebut dapat menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini ditinjau dari beberapa indikator yang yang digunakan untuk validasi memiliki kriteria sangat baik. Kemudian setelah diujicobakan kepada siswa  diperoleh hasil skor rata-rata keseluruhan aspek sebesar 85.06 %, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa e-modul ini ditinjau dari indikator yang yang digunakan untuk uji coba memiliki kriteria sangat baik dan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pembelajaran.

Abstract

The quantitative research examines factors affecting the intention to use e-commerce by employing a modified UTAUT2 model. The sample is 263 e-commerce users in Surabaya, Malang, and Kediri who have e-commerce account and know about Sensatia Botanicals. The Data was analyzed using PLS (Partial Least Square) in SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the analysis indicate that performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, social influence, habit, perceived playfulness and price value have a significant positive influence on the behavior intention to use e-commerce, and that effort expectancy and hedonic motivation do not have any significant positive influence. Gender difference in this study can increase the intention of individuals to use e-commerce on the price value factors, while age and income difference in this study neither increase nor decrease the intention of individuals to use e-commerce to purchase the products of Sensatia Botanicals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the variables affecting consumer loyalty to a smartphone brand. For this reason, researchers use Samsung smartphones in Malang City as research objects. 160 responses were obtained using a nonprobability approach with a purposive sampling technique. The data was collected through a questionnaire, then analyzed using the Partial Least Square analysis tool and measured using a Likert scale. The results of this study found that brand experience has a significant effect on brand loyalty. Also, brand image and love are proven to mediate the impact of brand experience on brand loyalty partially. It is necessary to re-explore other independent variables related to cognitive aspects that directly affect loyalty to the same research object or other smartphone brands, such as brand ambassadors, self-congruity, celebrity endorsement, and other factors available.

Abstract

The increasing Muslim population affects the demand for halal products. Multinational companies cannot see the current trend of Muslim consumer growth by looking at the decision-making of halal food and beverage purchases and brand awareness. This study examines the influence of religion, halal labeling, information delivery, and health considerations on brand awareness and purchasing decisions for Wall’s ice cream in Malang. This research is explanatory research with 180 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and the size used a Likert scale. This paper uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) for data analysis with the Variance Based SEM approach, commonly known as Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that two variables had no significant effect: exposure to information and health labels. And considering that the independent variables in this study are essential in influencing purchasing decisions, it is hoped that the results of this study can be used as a wish for further research.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the direct effect of brand experience and the perceived value of customers on brand loyalty and the indirect effect through brand trust as mediating variable. This study used a questionnaire distributed to 130 loyal customers of Susu Nandhi Murni produced by KUD Batu. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, and the method of data analysis was Partial Least Square (PLS). The results demonstrated a positive and significant direct effect of brand experience and perceived value on brand loyalty. In addition, brand experience and perceived value also had a positive and significant effect on brand trust and brand trust on brand loyalty. Furthermore, the indirect effect through brand trust as mediating variable also revealed a positive and significant effect, both on the brand experience and perceived value. Finally, future studies are suggested to investigate other variables that were not discussed in this research, such as brand image and brand satisfaction.

Abstract

This study examines and analyzes the influence of money available, time availability, and the promotion of impulse purchases through positive emotions as a mediating variable on chocolate snack products. This research is quantitative research conducted in Hypermart Malang Town Square (Matos), Giant Hypermarket Malang Olympic Garden (MOG), Giant Ekstra Sawojajar, and Giant Ekstra Kebonagung. The population studied were consumers who bought chocolate snack products on impulse purchases. The sample used 190 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and literature review. Data analysis techniques in this research use validity test, reliable test, linear test, diagram test, PLS, and hypothesis test on the variable of money availability, time availability, promotion, impulse purchase, and positive emotion on chocolate snack product. This study indicates that the variable availability of money can impact positive emotional variables. The varying availability of money cannot impact impulse buying variables. The time availability variable does not affect the positive emotional variables. Meanwhile, the time availability variable impacts the impulse buying variable. Furthermore, promotional variables affect positive emotional variables as well as impulse buying variables. However, the positive emotional variable has no impact on the impulse buying variable. The positive emotional variable proved the relationship between money and promotional variables' variable availability in the mediation test. In contrast, the variable availability of time is not a provable positive emotional variable as a liaison influence the variable of time availability with impulse buying.

Abstract

Increasingly fierce competition in the smartphone industry encourages companies to design mature marketing strategies to create added value for consumers and build strong relationships with their consumers. This study aims to identify and analyze the direct and indirect effects of brand experience, brand love, brand trust, and brand loyalty on Samsung smartphone users in Malang City. Data for this was collected through a questionnaire and a sample of 140 smartphone users in Malang City. Sample selection was carried out using the purposive random sampling method. The collected data will be analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. These results reveal that brand experience has no direct effect on brand loyalty. However, this study confirms an indirect influence of brand experience on brand loyalty through brand love and trust. The results have important implications for building strong emotional relationships and bonds between brands and consumers, and it is necessary to use cognitive and affection factors to create brand loyalty.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the effects of customer satisfaction role as mediation of price and service quality to the brand switching on customers of Balqis Spa in Kediri. The research design was explanatory research. The total sample was about 130 respondents through the non-probability sampling method. The method of data collection was a questionnaire. In contrast, the data analysis methods in this research were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis through Partial Least Square (PLS) by exerting the Smart PLS 3.0 version, which aimed to examine the effects simultaneously and the partial effects among variables. The research findings show that the price directly affects the service quality and could directly and significantly affect brand switching. Customer satisfaction could fully mediate the relationship between price and brand switching. Moreover, customer satisfaction could partially mediate between the quality and brand switching for customers of Balqis Spa in Kediri. The future researcher can consider other variables outside the object in this study to increase the accuracy of the model that will be formed.

Abstract

Locomotive radios serve as a crucial telecommunications system in railway operations. However, in Divisi Regional III Palembang, frequent malfunctions occur without systematic damage documentation, resulting in the absence of an optimal maintenance strategy. This study applies the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to identify failure characteristics, analyze their impact on each component, and determine the appropriate maintenance strategy. The analysis results indicate that from 2019 to 2022 a total of 20 communication failures occurred with the highest failure frequency observed in the Locomotive Transceiver Unit (LTU), which failed 14 times. The Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) calculations reveal that the LTU has an average failure interval of 1,253 hours, while the Console has 1,297 hours, and the antenna reaches 8,064 hours. Risk analysis using FMEA shows that the console has the lowest risk level with a value of 18, the antenna has a moderate risk level with a value of 27, and the LTU has the highest risk level with a value of 36. Based on the identified maintenance strategy, the proposed solution includes implementing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance to mitigate potential failures. A reliability test conducted over 1,000 hours yielded a reliability probability of 18.3%.
