Abstract

The absence of organized teaching aids for cooking activities prevents teachers from fully promoting comprehensive development in young children at the preschool level. Enriches children s mind, moral values, and cognitive growth, interest in learning, and social life. Attractive cookware playsets to inspire kids' imagination. The present study aims to design and evaluate the applicability of a fun cooking manual kit as an educational approach for a kindergarten course. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The Define stage comprised a needs analysis of teachers and classroom activities. In contrast, the Design and Develop stages involved the design, development, and expert validation of the guidebook, with Disseminate comprising small implementation trials. Data were collected through questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and observation checklists used to assess teachers' personalities at the Child Asmaul Husna Kindergarten in Tangerang. The average feasibility score across four experts (nutrition, culinary arts, media, and early childhood education) was 3.6 (89.5%), indicating high feasibility and satisfaction with pedagogical, nutritional, and practical requirements. Trial results indicated that children became better critical thinkers, more creative, and more independent. In summary, the fun cooking guidebook, in accordance with the center method , is practicable and effective in cultivating infants' comprehensive capacity.

Abstract

This research was inspired by the lack of awareness and responsibility regarding cleanliness among kindergarten children at Pos PAUD Sedap Malam 16, Cimahi City, as 24.39% of 41 children still littered and 19.51% did not return toys after use, indicating a need for a grip intervention. Most earlier studies have focused on habituation or environmental practices, and few have integrated a spirituality-based strategy; therefore, this study is novel in integrating monotheism (tauhid) education with the “Tahan, Simpan dan Pungut” (TSP) slogan, a combination not yet explicitly examined in prior theories. This research employed a quantitative approach using SEM-PLS, and all 41 children in group B were included in the sample. The results indicate that tauhid education influenced cleanliness responsibility (β = 0.942; p < 0.001) and the use of the TSP slogan (β = 0.914; p < 0.001). The presence of the TSP slogan also had a significant impact on cleanliness responsibility (β = 0.377; p = 0.013) and mediated the direct relationship between tauhid education and cleanliness responsibility (β = 0.345; p = 0.016), demonstrating that implementation of tauhid education, rather than the TSP slogan, effectively strengthens early childhood cleanliness responsibility.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted traditional education systems, highlighting the need for digital learning solutions, especially in Early Childhood Education (ECE). This study introduces TV Sekolah, a hybrid learning platform designed to address the unique challenges of ECE by integrating synchronous virtual interaction, multimedia content, gamification, and cultural education. Existing digital platforms often lack features tailored for young children, and TV Sekolah bridges this gap with four key components: School Stage, Digital Library, Virtual Classroom, and TV Sekolah Festival, creating a comprehensive learning environment. The research uses the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) for prototype development, allowing iterative design, evaluation, and refinement with feedback from teachers, students, and stakeholders. The platform scalable technology efficiently manages video content and interactive learning, catering to diverse user needs and overcoming connectivity limitations. Preliminary feedback indicates improved learner engagement and educational outcomes. However, challenges such as limited device access and internet connectivity, especially for low income families, remain. To address these, the platform partnered with local governments to provide affordable devices and telecom companies for discounted internet packages. The education ministry also introduced training programs for teachers. This study offers solutions to these barriers and contributes to advancing hybrid learning by providing an inclusive, adaptable, and practical platform for early learners in diverse socio economic settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dasar linguistik anak usia dini melalui penerapan metode SIUUL di KB. Al Khairiyah. Latar belakang penelitian adalah rendahnya perkembangan kemampuan berbahasa anak kelompok A usia 3-4 tahun, seperti pengucapan yang kurang jelas, belum mampu menceritakan pengalaman, dan belum dapat mengulang kalimat sederhana. Metode SIUUL (Menyimak, Mengucap, dan mengulang) diterapkan secara kontekstual, menyenangkan, dan sesuia nilai-nilai keislaman untuk melatih keterampilan berbicara dan membaca anak secara sistematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitiuan Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis & Mctaggart dalam dua siklus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan linguistik anak, dari prasiklus sebesar 36,94% menjadi 50,8% pada siklus I (peningkatan 13.8%) dan mencapai 77.8% pada siklus II (peningkatan 26,98%). Capaian pada siklus II telah melmpaui kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Dengan demikian, Metode SIUUL efektif dalam membangun kemampuan dasar linguistik anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya kerja sama sebagai bagian dari perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini, yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui kegiatan belajar yang menyenangkan seperti permainan edukatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan edukatif terhadap kemampuan bekerja sama tim anak usia 5–6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif eksperimen semu dengan desain Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 anak kelas A TK Nurmala Hati, yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, linearitas, heteroskedastisitas, regresi sederhana, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan edukatif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan bekerja sama tim anak. Persamaan regresi sederhana yang diperoleh adalah Y = 5,847 + 0,974X, dengan nilai t hitung 6,849 > t tabel 2,101 pada taraf signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,707, yang berarti permainan edukatif memberikan kontribusi sebesar 70,7% terhadap kemampuan bekerja sama tim, sedangkan 29,3% dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar penelitian.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang efektif pada anak usia dini maupun orang dewasa memerlukan pendekatan yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada capaian kognitif, tetapi juga memperhatikan aspek emosional dan psikologis peserta didik. Model Pembelajaran ASYIK (Aman, Senang, Yakin, Inovatif, Kreatif) dikembangkan sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran humanistik yang menekankan kondisi emosional positif sebagai fondasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan implementasi Model ASYIK pada pembelajaran anak usia dini di BKB PAUD Melati 03 dan pembelajaran orang dewasa dalam kegiatan Training of Trainers (TOT) Digitalisasi Pembelajaran di Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus komparatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola, persamaan, dan perbedaan implementasi model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model ASYIK memiliki nilai inti yang konsisten pada kedua konteks pembelajaran, namun diadaptasi melalui strategi pedagogi berbasis bermain pada PAUD dan andragogi berbasis pengalaman pada pembelajaran orang dewasa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Model ASYIK bersifat adaptif lintas usia dan relevan sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran humanistik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi Model Pembelajaran ASYIK (Aman, Senang, Yakin, Inovatif, Kreatif) dan Model ATIK (Amati, Tiru, Kerjakan) dalam meningkatkan partisipasi aktif anak usia dini melalui pendekatan kualitatif studi literatur. Temuan kajian menunjukkan bahwa Model ASYIK berperan strategis dalam menstimulasi dimensi afektif melalui penciptaan ekosistem belajar yang kondusif, di mana penggunaan instrumen reward dan yel-yel secara efektif memitigasi kecemasan instruksional serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak. Sementara itu, Model ATIK menyediakan kerangka kerja metodologis sistematis yang mengakomodasi kebutuhan eksplorasi sensorik dan motorik anak melalui tahapan belajar berbasis pengalaman (experiential learning). Sinergi antara aspek emosional pada model ASYIK dan struktur kognitif pada model ATIK menghasilkan paradigma pembelajaran holistik yang tidak hanya meningkatkan keterlibatan kinestetik dan literasi numerasi, tetapi juga memperkuat kesiapan mental (school readiness) anak dalam menghadapi jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. Secara teoretis, integrasi kedua model inovatif ini menegaskan pentingnya reposisi peran pendidik sebagai desainer pengalaman yang mampu menyelaraskan stimulasi pedagogis dengan karakteristik perkembangan alamiah anak pada masa golden age.

Abstract

This study examined the effect of role-playing activities on reading, writing, and numeracy skills in children aged 5-6 years. The study was motivated by low early literacy and numeracy levels in rural areas, as well as the limited number of studies that investigate both skills simultaneously using a factorial experimental design. A quantitative approach was employed using a true experimental factorial 2×2 design involving 32 children aged 5–6 years at Mutiara Kindergarten, Bongkal Malang Village, Kelayang District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. Participants were assigned to an experimental group receiving role-playing activities and a control group using a conventional learning model, with gender considered as a moderating variable. Research instruments included validated assessments of reading and writing literacy and numeracy. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA and simple effect tests. The findings revealed significant differences in reading and writing literacy (p < 0.001, η²p = 0.512) and numeracy skills (p < 0.001, η²p = 0.504) between the role-playing and conventional groups. No significant interaction was found between learning model and gender for either literacy or numeracy. Overall, role-playing activities effectively improved literacy and numeracy skills in early childhood and provided empirical evidence through the simultaneous examination of these two abilities within a factorial experimental framework.

Abstract

Inclusive Early Childhood Education (PAUD) faces significant challenges in the era of digital disruption, particularly in integrating technology with meaningful and contextual learning. This study aims to develop and implement a contextual deep learning strategy through the ASYIK, ATIK, and SIUUL models. The research used a participatory workshop method combined with experiential learning and collaborative inquiry approaches, involving 50 PAUD practitioners in the Cikarang area. The findings showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and a very high level of satisfaction, with 98% reporting satisfaction or high satisfaction. The learning simulations demonstrated the successful application of creative and contextual strategies to support inclusive education for children with special needs. Participants were highly motivated to implement these models in their institutions. The study recommends continuous technical support, the development of adaptive learning media, and the establishment of practitioner communities to ensure the sustainable implementation of inclusive education. These efforts are essential to enhance the quality and inclusiveness of early childhood education in the digital era.

Abstract

Kemampuan kognitif merupakan aspek perkembangan yang memerlukan stimulasi optimal sejak usia dini melalui pembelajaran yang bermakna dan sesuai dengan karakteristik anak. Salah satu pendekatan yang relevan adalah Model ATIK (Amati, Tiru, Kerjakan) yang dikembangkan oleh Sri Watini dan telah banyak diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi Model ATIK dalam menstimulasi kemampuan kognitif anak di KB Selendang Sutera. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 anak kelompok bermain. Kegiatan pembelajaran difokuskan pada aktivitas membuat minuman rasa coklat sebagai pengalaman belajar konkret yang memungkinkan anak mengamati, meniru, dan mengerjakan secara langsung. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan penilaian unjuk kerja. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak pada setiap siklus, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kemampuan anak dalam mengikuti instruksi, memahami urutan kegiatan, serta menunjukkan kemandirian dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Temuan ini sejalan dengan berbagai penelitian sebelumnya yang menegaskan efektivitas Model ATIK dalam menstimulasi berbagai aspek perkembangan anak usia dini. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi Model ATIK efektif dalam menstimulasi kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini.
