This study aims to analyze student preferences for the MBKM internship at FEB Unsoed. The method used is Logistic Regression or Logistics Model Analysis (LOGIT). This research is quantitative. The data used are primary and secondary data. Sampling using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Based on the research results, the independent variable that has the most influence on the dependent variable is the location of the company (1.687) that the farther the location of the company from the place of residence will increase the probability of students participating in internships by 1.687 times greater than students who choose not to take part in MBKM internships, followed by variables incentives (1,500), and company brand variables (1,395). This shows that company location, incentives, and company brand influence students' preferences to take part in MBKM internships. Keyword: Student Preference, MBKM Internship,  Incentives, Location, Brand Company

Abstract

Kalimantan relies significantly on peat water as a water source. However, due to its high organic content, acidic nature, and intense color, it is not safe to drink. To address this issue, researchers proposed an eco-friendly coagulant, calcium lactate, to remove suspended solids. To test its effectiveness, the coagulant was compared to membrane technologies, specifically nanofiltration (NF) and reverse osmosis (RO), at Rasau Jaya General Hospital in West Kalimantan between April and October 2022. Different pressures, 40, 60, and 80 Psi, were used to test both methods. Before and after treatment, the levels of total coliform, E. coli, pH, total dissolved solid (TDS), turbidity, color, and calcium were examined. The results showed that the best outcomes were achieved at 60 Psi. The combination of 0.8 mg/l calcium lactate and NF met all the standard values, except for color (29 TCU). Calcium lactate and RO, however, produced safe drinking water at 60 Psi from all analyzed parameters (E. coli=0, total coliform=0, pH=6.5, TDS=7.1, nephelometric turbidity units (NTU)=2.8 NTU, color=8.7 TCU, and calcium 7.6 mg/l). The reduction of bacteriological substances achieved 100% for both methods. Overall, the combination of calcium lactate and RO yielded slightly better results than NF.

Abstract

The availability of medicines in hospitals is very important for patient survival, this is because almost 90% of health service interventions in hospitals depend on the use of medicines. The occurrence of medicine shortages, stockpiles that have accumulated, expiration will have an impact medically and economically. Things like this require efficient and effective medicine management efforts through a management system. The purpose of this study was to determine drug logistics management in hospitals starting from the input, process, and output stages at the pharmacy installation at Malinau Hospital. The reason for choosing this location is because the availability of medicines is a variable that has a significant satisfaction score, it is necessary to carry out an analysis of drug logistics management to ensure this. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a management system theory approach based on data obtained from 6 research informants, consisting of the head of the pharmacy installation, coordinator of inpatient pharmacist, coordinator of outpatient pharmacy services, the person in charge of pharmacy warehouse, and 2 warehouse staff pharmacies. Based on the input stage in the form of the availability of pharmaceutical human resources, it is sufficient, the budget using APBD and BLUD is sufficient. The stages of the process consisting of planning needs, medicine procurement, and medicine distribution have been carried out properly. As for the storage and disposal of medicines, management is still found to be ineffective and efficient. At the output stage, the availability of medicines has not been carried out properly, because there are still empty medicine stocks and expired medicines have been found piled up in warehouses that have not been destroyed. Thus it is suggested that the pharmaceutical installation at Malinau Hospital pay more attention to the medicine logistics management system so that it is more effective and efficient. Thus it is suggested that the pharmaceutical installation at Malinau Hospital pay more attention to the medicine logistics management system, especially regarding the quantity and quality of human resources and infrastructure to be further improved.

Abstract

The urgency of this research pertains to the political feasibility of Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 30/2021 regarding the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS) in the University Environment due to the emergency situation of sexual violence on campus. This study not only highlights the extent to which the policy is acceptable to decision-makers and the general public but also underscores the importance of ensuring that any enacted policy has strong political support and does not generate controversy. The research methodology involves detailed analysis of existing regulations, gathering readings from books, academic journals, electronic media news, and conducting interviews with various stakeholders to gather their views on the political feasibility of the regulation. The findings indicate that the enactment of the regulation initially elicited diverse reactions from the public, with clear pros and cons. From different perspectives, particularly concerning various interests, the public voiced protests and controversies regarding the implications and impacts of the regulation. While supporters perceive it as a positive step in providing protection for the entire university community, with expected preventive measures and effective handling of sexual harassment cases, opponents view it as potentially promoting adultery and LGBT issues, especially from a religious standpoint. Nonetheless, it is crucial for the public to regard this regulation as a formal public policy, established based on an understanding and handling of societal issues.

Abstract

Serious efforts to decentralize Indonesia have only been carried out since the reformation period began in the midst of the crisis that hit Asia and coincided with the process of changing leadership in Indonesia from Suharto to Habibie. Regional autonomy is considered to be able to answer the demands of equitable distribution of socio-economic development, governance, and the development of an effective political life because it is believed to be able to guarantee the handling of community demands in a varied and fast manner. Article 18B of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia recognizes and respects special or special regional government units which are regulated by law. The special autonomy implemented in Indonesia can be categorized as asymmetric decentralization, including Papua and West Papua. Politically, the issue of Papua Autonomy has gained light and legitimacy as well as a normative basis with the issuance of the Special Autonomy Law, but in reality the implementing regulations are not perfect. A grounded public policy is needed that takes into account the aspirations of the people of Papua and West Papua with the Special Autonomy Law as a normative basis because the actual role of the Special Autonomy Law in the welfare of the people of Papua and West Papua is as legalization to manage Papua and West Papua in particular by taking into account the various characteristics that they have. towards progress and prosperity.

Abstract

Even with Indonesia's impressive recent economic expansion, issues including poverty, unemployment, health care spending, housing, education, and labor productivity continue to be serious problems. International organization databases, government reports, academic publications, national statistics agencies, and academic publications are some of the sources that can be used for secondary quantitative data analysis encompassing 34 provinces from 2018 to 2022. The results show that unemployment, poverty all have a detrimental effect on economic growth. On the other hand health budget allocations all have a favorable impact. The study concludes that while investments in health budgets positively influence growth by enhancing human capital and, poverty, unemployment negatively impact economic growth. This study's conclusion about the correlation between the variables can offer insightful information to practitioners across a range of fields and public policy.
